I was a bit disappointed by the limited number of convenience facilities and restaurants within the resort. There are a few more dining options if you drive out, but the parking is so cramped that I hesitated to move my car. The parking, which is limited to ground level and one underground floor, is incredibly difficult to navigate. Especially during check-in hours (3-4 PM), it's a parking war due to guests using the ski & board and water park for the day. A plus point, though, is the mobile check-in option, which helps avoid long waits to get your room number. Also, if you're using a stroller, be aware that when moving to the basement, the stroller path suddenly turns into stairs. So, for convenience, always use the outdoor path on the first floor. If you're going to the kids' lounge with a stroller, go towards Lotteria instead of Baskin-Robbins; it's right on the second floor. (The building itself has no elevator, only stairs.) This was my first time staying in the Green Wing condo, and the iron door closing, soundproofing, and people constantly smoking on the terrace (the smell kept coming in and was really annoying!) made me decide to avoid the Green and Orange Wings from now on.FromPLN 116

Kensington Pyeongchang is one of my favorite resorts. When it gets hot in summer, the area at the foot of Odaesan Mountain is simply unbeatable. I especially loved dipping my feet in the stream next to the glamping area – it was so refreshing and blissful. The English garden is also very lovely. However, it's quite inconvenient that all facilities now incur an additional charge since the pandemic. Perhaps facilities like the swimming pool could be complimentary for guests, with the cost simply included in the room rate? The extra charges and time restrictions really make me hesitate to use them. Lastly, the prices at Café Flori are also quite steep for the food quality/portion size.FromPLN 277

Nice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. The overall service met our expectations. For beginner skiers like us, this ski resort is more than adequate. There hasn't been any recent snowfall, so all the snow on the slopes is man-made. This trip was with my son, who wanted to hit the ski slopes right away, and my daughter, who wanted to relax and watch the snow... so we took it easy and had a good rest. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast buffet were all very kind. However, before check-in, the room cleaning felt a bit inadequate and unprepared. It was particularly disappointing that things like hair conditioner weren't properly refilled. The housekeeper was quite unfriendly, and I felt the cleanliness of the accommodation was a bit lacking, which made for some uncomfortable moments. Nevertheless, once I adjusted my mindset to 'considering it's an old place,' it turned out to be a very enjoyable trip.FromPLN 291

The room is exactly the same as in the photo, very clean and odorless, the floor is clean and warm when you walk barefoot, the bathroom has a bidet, there is a kitchen available, and the service staff is very friendly. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the ski resort by car. There are convenience stores and restaurants downstairs. It is about 20 minutes away from Zhenfu KTX.FromPLN 259

We went skiing at Alpensia and stayed at this hotel. The front desk helped us book a taxi for around 13,000 won one way, which was very convenient. The room was very spacious and clean. The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby.
Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all.
The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself.
Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip.
We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat.
The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned.
The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski.
During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house.
My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes.
I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly.
Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.FromPLN 266

Отель очень понравился. Место спокойное, тихое, идеально подходит для отдыха. Хозяева замечательные — добрые, отзывчивые и всегда готовы помочь.
Единственный небольшой минус — отель находится далековато от горнолыжного курорта, но этот момент полностью решён: с такси всё отлично организовано. Человек приезжает, забирает и отвозит обратно, поэтому никаких неудобств не возникает.
Если вы хотите провести время с друзьями в уединённой, спокойной атмосфере, среди природы — это именно то место. Номера чистые и аккуратные, на кухне есть абсолютно вся необходимая посуда, можно без проблем готовить самостоятельно.

I made a night trip to Gangwon Province, so I made a reservation in a hurry and entered late in the evening and couldn't stop by in detail. The entrance was dark on the night road, so it was a bit hesitant. The counter staff kindly responded. The room was clean and warm and I went to sleep well. There is no convenience store in the hostel, so you have to buy it in advance at a convenience store 5-10 minutes drive away.FromPLN 426
