Banxia anticipated our every need, managing every detail from A to Z with remarkable grace and efficiency. Her attentiveness ensured our complete comfort and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The arrival and check-in process were so seamless, it felt like a dream. We were effortlessly guided to our room, a sanctuary that surpassed all expectations. Describing the room in words simply wouldn't do it justice – it was a masterpiece of design and comfort. While Hengyitang Health Centre is undoubtedly a premium experience, the impeccable service, breathtaking ambiance, and meticulous attention to detail make it worth every penny. During the bustling May Day holiday at Wuzhen's Xizha Scenic Area, it was a rare find to stumble upon such a relatively tranquil spot, and overall, it truly exceeded my expectations. I chose the boat ride to the hotel over the electric cart. Although the boatman complained that it took half an hour and was the longest route, it offered a very authentic and direct experience of the water town. The room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – far superior to the Zhinshui Hotel I stayed at before. It was also wonderfully quiet once the crowds dispersed in the evening. Wandering around the hotel, the Chinese architectural style made for some really nice photos. My main critique, however, is reserved for the restaurant. I had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food wasn't up to par, with the service leaving much to be desired. I've already provided detailed feedback to the hotel staff upon check-out, and I truly hope they can improve.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alila Wuzhen, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We stayed in the “Garden Suite King,” which was not only clean and spacious but also featured a stunning private garden that added a touch of tranquility to our stay. The hot bathtub was a delightful bonus, providing the perfect spot to unwind and relax The service at Alila Wuzhen was exceptional. Both the room service and front desk staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. The front desk took the time to carefully explain all the facilities to us, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well-informed throughout our stay One of the highlights of our trip was dining at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the ambiance was enhanced by a stylish setting surrounded by bamboo. This thoughtful design created a sense of privacy for each table, making our dining experience even more enjoyable I was also pleased to discover that the gym is open 24 hours, which is a significant advantage for fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, the indoor swimming pool was kept at a warm temperature, allowing us to take a refreshing swim even during the chilly winter nights Lastly, the villa-type design of the hotel is simply breathtaking. Every corner is aesthetically pleasing, making it feel like a photo opportunity at every step. Overall, Alila Wuzhen exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another memorable stay!

The hotel was excellent. The check in process in the Scenic Area ticket office was very smooth and the complimentary boat ride to the hotel made it really easy to get there. The rooms are fabulous and the staff were very helpful, making a great effort to try to speak English to assist us. Ms 余敏 Yu Min from reception was super helpful and really went above and beyond to make our stay great! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Traveling with my elderly parents, I opted for a hotel within the scenic area. While hotels there tend to be pricier, I chose the Yiyuan, which was relatively more affordable and had good reviews. From the day before check-in, the hotel staff proactively contacted us, providing all the necessary information. On arrival, they were waiting for us at the parking lot, escorted us to the hotel, and offered detailed, patient explanations and thoughtful service. The hotel has its own courtyard, and our room featured a small balcony. All the amenities were very authentic, and they even provided a shower stool especially for seniors. Hotel guests enjoy free admission to the scenic area and complimentary shuttle bus service within the park, making this hotel excellent value for money. It was a wonderful stay.

This glowing, detailed review, which might even seem a bit over-the-top, is truly dedicated to Wucun. Firstly, the activities are absolutely perfect for young children. From lobster fishing and snail hunting to pool parties, 'little chef' sessions, fan making, night field explorations, oil pressing workshops, and archery – there's an endless array of options! My children were already asking to book our next trip before we even left. Secondly, the butler service was exceptionally thoughtful. When one of the adults had a minor, unrelated accident (nothing to do with the hotel), the staff's response was incredibly swift and supportive. They provided personnel, assistance, and even a car to accompany us to the hospital. With just one adult left to manage two 6-year-olds, the village made childcare completely effortless all day. Every staff member we encountered was ready to lend a hand whenever needed, and the children's activities were so well-organized, we simply had to show up and enjoy without any hassle. My first visit to Wucun was without kids, and I hadn't fully appreciated the benefits of the all-inclusive package back then. This time, with kids in tow, the sheer relief of not having to worry about food, lodging, or transportation was absolutely fantastic. Moreover, staying directly within Wucun village was far more convenient than staying at Daoshe. While some of the room facilities are indeed showing their age after ten years of use, and the air conditioning can be a bit noisy at night, honestly, after a full day of activities, we were so tired we practically fell asleep the moment our heads hit the pillow, so it didn't really bother us. We'll definitely be back next time!

If you're staying in Wuzhen, you really should choose the Di Shang Hotel. It's 1299 a night and includes breakfast, two entrance tickets (a 300 value), two tickets for a sculling boat (a 120 value), and you can also book a one-hour sound bowl experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the bathtub is huge, even coming with a disposable tub liner. The mini-fridge has six complimentary drinks. Wuzhen can be fully explored in a day, and staying overnight allows you to experience the evening scenery, which is just nice. The breakfast is very rich with many options, though the taste is just average. There's also a shuttle service that can help with transportation, and luggage can be sent directly to the hotel or the visitor center.

Walking into the hotel felt like entering a private museum filled with stories. Everywhere you looked, you'd see the owner's treasured collection, each with its own unique explanation. In the afternoon, you could enjoy exquisite afternoon tea, and in the evening, you could enjoy a night out at the on-site bar with friends. From check-in to the entire stay, every aspect of the service was meticulous and attentive, and I was completely filled with joy. This will definitely be my top choice for my next trip to Wuzhen! Our stay at 盛庭行馆 was truly the highlight of our trip to Wuzhen. From the moment we checked in until after we left, our butler 露佳provided impeccable service and constant care. She checked in with us regularly, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. During our visit, I celebrated my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special — with a beautifully decorated room and a lovely cake. 露佳also gave excellent recommendations for local food and attractions, and made restaurant reservations for us effortlessly through messages. The room was elegant and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere felt both refined and welcoming. Although we visited during the Theater Festival and the town was quite crowded, the serenity and hospitality of 盛庭行馆 made it a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. I would absolutely choose to stay here again, perhaps at a quieter time, to enjoy even more of its charm.

Don't let the name fool you – though it sounds like a village hotel, the environment, facilities, and service here far surpass many star-rated hotels. From the moment we entered the village, someone helped us with our luggage, and there's a 24-hour shuttle service. Our butler assisted us all the way to our room, introducing the hotel's surrounding activities and room amenities. Having stayed at several star-rated hotels, I've rarely experienced such thoughtful service. The front desk, bellhops, and restaurant staff were all incredibly friendly, always smiling and proactively asking if we needed anything. Even the hallways in the rooms had heating, which is a nice touch, perhaps because it's a family-friendly hotel – attention to detail is evident everywhere. The village activities are incredibly rich and diverse. It was my city-dwelling child's first time seeing rice growing in a field, grinding soybeans, harvesting rice, pressing oil, fishing, riding a post office train, and even pig racing… There are also various craft activities and an indoor basketball court. In the evening, there's a bonfire party. I highly recommend trying the hotel's buffet dinner. The farmhouse-style dishes have a truly distinct flavor. I particularly loved the black rice, roasted pork hock, wontons, yellow croaker with preserved vegetables, and stir-fried shrimp. The complimentary signature dish was hairy crab! We'll definitely be back for a second visit next year when the weather warms up to experience the outdoor activities in summer.
