Excellent ocean front location in the quiet, quaint side of Kihei! On site amenities include pool, jacuzzi, BBQ area, shuffleboard, brand new central AC unit and decor from local Hawaiian artists.

Our condo is one of the most beautiful at the Kauhale Makai Resort (aka - Village by the Sea). Located on the third floor, unit 310, with fantastic ocean views from our private bedroom and living room lanais, the condo features a romantic Mahogany carved canopy bed with pillow top mattress, 2 remote control ceiling fans, 2 flat screen tvs, a gorgeous breadfruit quilt, custom artwork from local artists Kim Taylor Reese and Randy Jay Braun, a well appointed kitchen, coffee maker, cookware, wine glasses, toaster, blender - all the amenities you need for a great meal at home. As assortment of beach amenities are usually available as they are frequently left behind by previous guests (we do not inventory these items.)
Equipment for shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball, and the putting green are available at the front office. And just outside our condo, there are beachside tennis courts.
Our building features a CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - this condo will stay as cool as you like it!
Our resort is OCEAN SIDE OF SOUTH KIHEI ROAD - we are OCEANFRONT. You don't have to cross a busy street to wiggle your toes in the warm Maui sand! Our beach is perfect for endless coastline walks, beautiful sunsets, collecting sea shells and watching the windsurfers! We are 5 minutes from the world class Kamaole I, II, and III beaches and 10 minutes from world renowned Wailea with it's upscale shopping, spas and golfing.
We have OCEANSIDE TENNIS COURTS by our property, shuffleboard, newly remodeled elevators, laundry facilities, a sparkling mosaic tiled pool area with a kiddie pool and Jacuzzi, putting green, sauna, shuffleboard, and volley ball court.

We stayed in the condo for 8 days in August, and it was the best experience! I don't think I'll ever stay in a hotel again after staying in this condo! Loved, loved, loved it!! The owner was such a pleasure to deal with, and the condo was just beautiful! It was nicely decorated, and you get the best ocean view from your lanai! Very clean, has everything you need in it (even coffee and spices!) A+ + + + + + + + Highly recommended!

Just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The condo was great. We loved the location and we got very used to opening up the blinds every morning to that view!
My wife and I celebrated 20 yrs. staying at unit # 310 in May. The condo exceeded our expectations. First off, it was spotless. New bed, queen w/ 4 posts. Like sleeping on a cloud. Very well equipped kitchen, everything works fine. The only negative, the spices in the rack didn't like the humidity. Well lit double sink bathroom w/ plenty of mirror. Living room and bedroom each had a new tv. The view from both bedroom and living room was spectacular, provided you like the ocean, palms and mountains. The bamboo and wicker furnishings throughout the condo remind latitude. Lanai furniture included 2 wrought iron chairs and table and a wicker lounge chair. Ahh on the lanai with a kona, tasting the pacific breeze while being held spell bound by the west Maui mountains. The staff was friendly and the condo owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The laundry room was literally 7 steps away from the front door... across the walkway... no, you can't hear anything. The pool looked nice & clean and the bbq area was clean. Good central location.
We stayed # 310 at the Kauhale Makai in September. What a fabulous room! Everything was perfect! The condo is sparkling from top to bottom. It has 2 flat screen tv's , beautiful kitchen, great balcony. The bathroom has a huge double sink and the bed was a four poster bed with a pillow top mattress. The only drawback was that the room did not have a washer/dryer but each floor has a nice laundry room and the room for our floor is located directly outside #310.

'We had a wonderful time at your condo in Kihei! It was furnished beautifully in the island style. It's so well equipped with everything we could need. The balcony was one of our favorite hangouts as we started our days with Kona coffee and breakfast and enjoyed the breathtaking views (which included humpback whales at times) and at night we would enjoy cocktails and the sparkling lights across the water. Thank you for being such gracious hosts and sharing your little piece of paradise with us.'
