Overall a good experience and the location is good, just 8minutes walk to Jonker Street and you can stay in entire landed house. Sufficient bed for 10 pax.
The only concern is the shower water pressure is a little small.

It's also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep.
3. **Extensive Breakfast & Large Pool:** The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, though it might not entirely cater to Chinese tastes. The swimming pool is also quite large.

We had a wonderful time here. Upon arrival, Ms. Nana at the reservation counter was so helpful and arranged connecting rooms for our family without any hassle. The rooms aren’t big, but they’re clean, comfortable, and very convenient for a family stay.
The staff throughout the hotel were polite and attentive, and the location couldn’t be better – everything is within walking distance to Melaka’s main tourist attractions.
We’ll definitely recommend Casa Del Rio to friends and family visiting Melaka. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and easy!

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away.
However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about:
1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully.
2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed.
3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy.
4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.FromPLN 344

The hotel is very comfortable, with a swimming pool and a gym. All the in-room facilities worked well. I had a wonderful stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities provided. The bed was very comfortable, allowing me to have a good night's sleep.
The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent, close to many popular attractions, shopping areas, and great local food, making it very convenient to explore Melaka.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! Melaka generally has a low cost of living, so 180 MYR a night here feels equivalent to 500 RMB a night back home!
The room was very spacious; it could easily accommodate four people. It was fully equipped with everything you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, it doesn't affect the fact that they keep everything spotlessly clean! A fantastic experience overall!
The breakfast was amazing!! It's originally 30 MYR, but it's completely on par with a star-rated hotel's buffet breakfast, offering chicken, fish, beef, and ham. The specialty curry dishes and bread were also very delicious!
The hotel's 'restaurant' area has a pool. This pool is shared with the two residential buildings next door, and the water is incredibly clean! There's even a waterslide and a play area in the middle! Great value, I'd definitely come back again!
The only issue is that the front desk staff don't speak Chinese, so you need to communicate in English.FromPLN 74

Superb location. Near to major shopping centre and places of interest. Is a small hotel with no swimming pool. Except a small fitness studio. Highest floor is level 6. Use to hv direct access from hotel to the shopping centre. But it is closed after COVID.
Some tips for the prospective customers.
If you are going to the Dataran Pahlawan shopping centre. Please take the lift to G floor walk towards Hatten hotel entrance, walk towards the Baun Buffel direction, u saw a lift near to their sales gallery. Took to 2nd floor (before 9pm) and walked towards the Dataran Pahlawan shopping centre. GSC cinema at L5.
Walk inside the shopping centre where you saw a common area where you saw Mixue or Levis boutique. Walk towards the Brands outlet and you will see an exit. Took that exit it will lead you to the farmosa, red square, St Paul fort, Jonker street.FromPLN 103

Overall, everything was good. However, I was very disappointed because I had specifically requested a room with a Kampung Morten view, but instead I was given a room overlooking the swimming pool, which was not very appealing and was quite noisy due to the children playing.
I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, checking in on a Friday. Given the length of my stay, I find it hard to believe that there wasn’t a room available that matched the request I had made in advance.
What disappointed me the most was that I had also requested a simple decoration for our anniversary, but unfortunately, there was no decoration at all. This shows that the hotel was not attentive to the requests made by its guests.
Overall, this experience was quite unsatisfactory, and I hope the management will take steps to improve their service and pay closer attention to guests’ requests in the future.
Last but not least, I would also like to give special recognition to the housekeeping staff who cleaned my room. His service was exceptional, and I gladly gave him a tip because he worked with genuine care and dedication. He even asked me two or three times if there was anything else he could assist me with, which made me feel truly valued as a guest.

During our staycation in Melaka, we spent a night at Hotel Sentral Riverview Melaka. The hotel is located along Jalan Tun Ali, next to The Store and close to several eateries, making it quite convenient if you're looking for food or basic necessities.
The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The air conditioning worked fine, although it took a little time for the room to cool down. The hot shower was okay too, but the water temperature could be a bit inconsistent at times.
WiFi is available, although the connection wasn't the most reliable during our stay. The room also comes with a TV, plus complimentary coffee and tea. Drinking water can be refilled from the water dispenser outside the room, and ironing facilities are provided in the common area.
One thing families may appreciate is the small playground and colouring corner in the lobby, which gives kids something to do while waiting around.
