Overall a good experience and the location is good, just 8minutes walk to Jonker Street and you can stay in entire landed house. Sufficient bed for 10 pax.
The only concern is the shower water pressure is a little small.

This hotel absolutely deserves a full five-star rating for its location, service, and ambiance! Upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully offered a smoothie and a cold towel, instantly refreshing us from the scorching travel heat. After check-in, a staff member personally escorted us to our room, and we even received meticulous turndown service in the evening – a truly excellent experience.
The location is also impeccable. Directly across the river is the famous Dutch Square (Red Square), and it's only about a 200-meter walk to Jonker Street and the night market, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
What surprised me the most was discovering, while looking through old photos, that I had unknowingly captured this hotel in a picture way back in 2012 when I first visited Malacca. Our second stop in Malaysia was The Majestic Malacca, and I was absolutely captivated by its vintage charm. The decor in the lobby, courtyard, and even the rooms was incredibly photogenic. It's a historic building itself, and the overall design, furnishings, and soft decor perfectly matched my aesthetic – I was so pleased! The hotel service was excellent, embodying the attentive spirit of British butler service. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality. All in all, I absolutely loved this hotel. The only minor drawback was the soundproofing, which isn't ideal and might bother light sleepers. The hotel was clean and neat in its layout. The room size is of good size, too. This is a old hotel and its facilities were a little rundown. For examples:
1. Windows could not be closed tightly due to missing handles.
2. Windows were not properly sealed. A lot of noise intrusions coming from the traffic below and the coolung towers opposite my room.
3. Wash basin was spoilt, the drain plug could not be unplugged to allow proper drainage.
4. Toilet seat cover needed a change for sure.
5. Room did not provide slippers.
Otherwise, the toilet is clean and useable. Toiletries were provided as well.
Overall, we are still happy with the night's stay and the breakfast that came with the stay. Also, free parking for our cars.

I had a wonderful stay at The Shore Hotel & Residences. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was well maintained and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room offered a beautiful city and river view, especially at night.
The location is one of the biggest advantages of this hotel. It is close to many popular attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, and local food spots, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time traveling.
The hotel facilities were excellent, including the swimming pool, fitness center, and other recreational areas. Everything was clean and well organized, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay.
The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and their hospitality made the experience even better.

Love Estadia Deluxe Suite more than Estadia Family Suite bcos of the living room area, a lot more usable space. Impressed with the seriousness they have to feedback - one evening, we shared that one of the life button did not work, that lift was closed for maintenance the very next morning. a great budget hotel find for anyone looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. the room was really cozy. got upgraded for a bigger room for f.o.c and it came fully equipped with a tv, iron and kettle nor mineral water. as a muslim travelers, they also provide a clear qibla direction sticker. the aircond was superb too, really cold and perfect for a good night's sleep. the bathroom was the best part, it was clean and the water pressure was really strong which makes showering so refreshing plus most importantly, it has a bidet hose, which is a huge plus. the elevators are okay so no long waits. the staff are very friendly and welcoming also theres plenty of parking space, not to worry about finding a spot for parking. hotel location very strategic & located in the middle a city & convenience store for restaurants, i have to walk a little bit, but it’s a manageable distance. one minor downside, the room soundproofing isnt the best, i can occasionally hear noise from the hallway or outside the room. if youre a light sleeper, you might want to take note of that. overall i highly recommended for those who want comfort on a budgetFromPHP 1,062

I'm really pleased with the location - it's close to all the amenities I need. The breakfast is a highlight, featuring local specialties rather than international fare. However, the room could do with some updating, particularly the carpets, which are showing their age. On the other hand, the toilets are impressive. One drawback is the room's phone, which doesn't even allow me to call reception. Overall, though, I'm satisfied with my stay.

7 minutes walk to Christ Church Melaka. There is a 99speedmart 3 minutes walk from Hotel.
Unpleasant experience when i check into the room. The floor was all wet and i slipped. There is wet and dry toilet area, the dry area was also very wet. I arrived at 4pm, they basically just done cleaning only, and did not dry the floor before i go in. The room’s wall was also wet and watery. Immediately i called the front desk, then housekeeping came in 5 minutes . Within that 5 minutes , the floor already started to dry. What i wanted to tell the Hotel is you should dry everything before guest enter the room. Luckily i just slipped, did not fall. What if people fall?
But i really don’t like the dry toilet area’s floor was also wet. It took longer to dry as there is no fan in the toilet.
The blanket also quite thin, not the thick type. And bedsheet got stains too.
The room I stayed in was a connecting room(queen bedroom). I stayed for 3 nights, and the first 2 nights were very quiet. However, on the 3rd night, the neighbors had their TV on very loud while I was trying to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, I would advise others to be mindful when booking a connecting room.FromPHP 1,629
