This was our 3rd visit to Le Blanc Cabo and it was overall a great week 9/24 - 10/1. We had a few hiccups which will be listed below, but overall this resort is stellar and it would be very difficult to leave disappointed. The service, cleanliness, amenities, and food & beverage offerings were all very good. We traveled with member friends who were staying in the residence, however we booked a regular room and were assigned to 1127. This was a high floor room, down the hall from elevators so the only noise we noticed in the room was road noise, which is already mentioned by other guests on previous reviews. It was not as noticeable if you kept your AC fan unit blowing. A few changes we noted from our last visit in 2020: --Price – It has jumped up to pre-covid price PLUS some! LOL we had a stellar BOGO deal back in 2020 due to covid, so it was a hit on the funds to pay normal pricing again. But the property and experience is still amazing and worth it! --They have switched to Pepsi products – a big mistake in our opinion. We had to make special requests for coke and it took a couple days, but once they had them stocked we were good to go. --There is now a diamond area in front of cabanas 1-8 for the regular lounge chairs (not just bali beds) which is a nice addition. The workers had to have a few tough conversations with guests who didn’t quite notice the sign near the walkway leading to the area, but it was always handled tactfully and most guests were quite understanding. --New breakfast option at the Mezze restaurant available 1 or 2 days of the week, worth trying at least once if anything for the baklava croissant! French toast was interesting but wouldn’t try again. --infrastructure issues in the Baja Calif. Sur state– This hasn’t been an issue in the area on prior 3 trips to the region but there was a major power grid issue with transformers affecting multiple towns and the resort was on backup generator for nearly 48 hours (wed afternoon to early hours Friday morning). When the backup generator was on, this meant no AC. Our room got up to 77 (others were as high as 82) and the floors were a slippery nightmare/hospital visit waiting to happen. The hotel was still operational, all lights, meals, activities for the most part went on. However, we did get stuck in the elevator at one point either due to them powering up and down trying to resolve the issue, or general power blips when trying to get back on the grid. IMPROVEMENTS: International restaurant – don’t put so much salt on the steak. I heard the fish was also super salty Switch back to coke products for the minibar The host stand process to check in for a buffet breakfast seems a bit lengthy – perhaps it isn’t critical that the waiter have the last name of the guests and instead simply the room number to speed up time wasted on filling out those little papers. Communication – if there is a change in venue for special events, put up signs or have the butlers de

The hotel facilities are in excellent condition. This is a very modern hotel with modern amenities. if I were to rate the facility alone it would be five stars. The areas that would need improvement would be to better inform the staff regarding hotel procedures. We were given the runaround when we tried to book a spa appointment. We tried to first book it with the butler Who directed us down to the spa. When we arrived at the spa we were told to book it a guest services. at guest services they told us that the butler could book it. They then told us that they would call the person down for the spa for us. The person then took us back to the spa. This was not a good way to begin a vacation. The butlers need to be given better training and more authority to do things like at other resorts. It really appeared that they were not well trained and not given any authority. The food here for the most part was good but not great. However there were several dishes that were great and there were several misses. The people that worked around the pool including the ones that got your towels and the weight staff were very good. They always seem to have nightly entertainment that was live. The musical talent that they brought in was very nice. The communication was not very good regarding what events. There were these billboards that were electronic around the resort, but they did not seem to have very updated information. For example if they had a turtle release that they never let anyone know about. We had requested a single king bed, but when we appeared they gave us two full beds indicating that the king bed is not guaranteed with our room rate that was booked through Costco. The spas Hydro therapy area was very nice. However the massage that I received was just OK. I thought that the services were very expensive. The beach is not really for walking or swimming. The sand was rather rocky and hurt your feet. It was very nice that they kept all the restaurants open for dinner. They also had several large buffet type events with entertainment.
