We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the hotel. A great bonus was being able to use the amenities of the neighboring 5-star hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the Genova train station. The only minor issue was the beautiful antique elevator, which was not always reliable because the doors had to be closed manually, and some guests did not do this properly, which occasionally meant the elevator would not work and we had to take the stairs instead. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.

We were lucky with parking and parked in the blue-striped section of the street directly opposite the entrance. We didn't trust leaving our keys in a nearby car park with the windows open. The breakfast and hotel staff deserve the best reviews. Cleanliness was good except for some dust in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and I find the price-performance ratio to be high. The old five-star room facilities are quietly old, but still very clean and tidy. Breakfast is OK. The pre-authorization at the front desk is not very used to Chinese tourists. It is obvious that Trip.com has been paid in full. When it comes to the pre-authorization of the same amount, I don't know what the intention is. However, the credit card bill the next month after leaving the store was not included, but the heart was always thinking, a bit annoying. Genoa is still a city with a unique style, and the St. George Cross flag makes people have the illusion of being in England, which is very fun.
