Whether you’re inside her spacious salon or on her massive deck, she will be a memory maker forever! The living space on board, evocative of a home on the ocean, is simply breathtaking.

This yacht is remarkable for the seamless circulation between inside and outside. In the passageway, the private spaces, all with a full view of the sea, combine intimacy and pleasure: an impressively sized four equally spaced staterooms, along with a bunk bed stateroom with each of the 4 staterooms having its own privately attached bathroom. This yacht is set to satisfy your wildest demands for the highest level of comfort.

You have the option to cook your own meals in the fully furnished kitchen, arrange for food catering, or even hire a professional chef for an extra cost. In the charter industry on an over night charter, it is customary to share your food and beverages with the captain and mate. If needed, provisioning service can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

Due to the housing rules it is required that you choose at least one of the following options during your reservation:

Please note that the cost of the excursions must be paid directly to our company at the time of booking. The price listed above do not include tax or gratuity. The Captain Fee must be paid directly to the Captain by you on the day of the charter To add a guest who is not staying on the boat to the excursion there would be a $100 additional charge per person.

These excursions are highly recommended by our previous guests and are sure to provide you with a memorable experience. During these outings, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to navigate the yacht, snorkel around the coral reef, fish from the yacht, spot dolphins and sea turtles, and much more. Our 24-hour charter is particularly popular as it combines the activities of a day excursion with the unique experience of spending a night anchored on the ocean. If you are staying for more than two nights, you can even enjoy multiple excursions during your reservation period.

Just imagine sleeping under the stars on an overnight charter with no neighbors next to, above, or below you like in a hotel room. You can spend your days and nights fishing from the boat, relax on the deck while listening to the sounds of tropical fish jumping in the water, and experience the thrill of being away from the marina, anchored on the ocean. The weather in this area is ideal throughout the year for activities such as snorkeling, fishing, lobster catching (seasonal), kayaking, paddleboarding, learning to sail, scuba diving, or simply enjoying a relaxing sunset cruise which can be incorporated into any excursion.


A bareboat charter to the Dry Tortugas would require a minimum of five nights and you would have to purchase three-24 hour excursions in addition to what you pay Airbnb, giving you one night at the Dry Tortugas. You would stay at the Marquesas islands halfway on your way there and on your way back. This is truly a bucket list charter that will provide memories that will last a lifetime. The Dry Tortugas is too far to go and come back in one day.

The excursions/charters offered are discounted from the regular price and must be paid directly to our company outside of VRBO at the time of booking.

We do not provide snorkel gear, & it is recommended you rent a full set at a nearby dive shop to assure your gear will fit you properly. You can rent fishing gear here as well as this is not provided. Paddle board and kayak rentals are also available nearby and some companies will even deliver them to the marina.

Guests must be able to walk up & down stairs inside the boat and be able to make a longer than usual step at times to get on and off the boat.

There is one security camera located in the cockpit outside this boat, pointed towards the outside of the boat, used for security purposes only between reservations. Staying on a boat has some added risks that a house does not. Decks get slippery and you must step from the dock to the boat, it is not a huge step but some guests may find it challenging. With that in mind we do require a signed waiver to stay. This will be sent to you after you book and you will need sign it and send it back to us to confirm your booking. Disclaimer:
To ensure the best fit for your stay: this is an authentic boat experience so it will not be the same feeling as staying in a house or hotel, (which is kinda the point 🙂). Water pressure may be lighter, there will be slight rocking, and although there is air conditioning, temperatures may not be as low as you would like (low to mid 70s are normal). Mornings start with sunrise from the cockpit, evenings end with stargazing on deck. Sleeps four: aft Captain's cabin with full-to-queen berth, V-berth for two more. Our Hunter 380 sailboat is docked at Perry Hotel and Marina on Stock Island. The marina has two pools with poolside dining, a 24-hour gym, restaurants, and bathhouse showers a short walk from the dock. The boat itself runs on full air conditioning and WIFI, an on-the-water stay with the comforts of land.

Susquehanna sleeps four across two cabins. Steps from the cockpit leads down into the cabin space. The aft Captain's cabin is a walkthrough beam-to-beam stateroom, equipped with a full-to-queen berth and an ensuite head. The V-berth at the bow sleeps two more guests. Between the two cabins, the main saloon is the social hub with seating for six, a TV, and a sound system. To the starboard sits the galley (kitchen) and a second head and shower to the port side.

Drive right up to the slip, step onto the floating pontoon, and walk down a few steps into the cabin. From the dock, two pools with poolside service sit a short walk away, on-site restaurants and bars are open through the day, and the free shuttle to Old Town runs throughout.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have full use of Susquehanna and all marina and hotel facilities: the two pools, 24-hour gym, on-site restaurants and bars, bathhouse showers, laundry, and the free shuttle to Old Town Key West throughout the day. On arrival you'll be greeted at the boat by our co-host, Tanya, who does a full meet-and-greet and walks you through everything you need to know about the boat, including how to use the marine toilet.

The resort's complimentary shuttle to Old Town Key West leaves from the hotel main entrance hourly on the hour and returns on the half hour, up until around 10:30 PM. Uber also operates in the area with short wait times.

Our co host Tanya will meet you at the marina guide you to the boat and go over all of the information that you’ll need for your stay. Tessa actually lives on Coconut Row so is always available should any situations arise.

Good to Know Before You Book

•Susquehanna is a real, working sailboat, and that's the whole appeal, but she does live a little differently from a house or hotel, so we'd rather you know before you book:
•She has a few classic boat quirks. Water pumps are louder than a household faucet, ropes can creak, and even in the sheltered marina you'll feel a gentle rock now and then. For most guests, that's the magic of sleeping on the water.
•The bathroom has a marine toilet with a hand pump rather than a standard flush. Tanya shows you how it works at check-in, and there are simple step-by-step instructions in your welcome guide.
•The onboard shower is compact, and there are full-size bathhouse showers a short stroll down the dock.
•Getting aboard means a step up onto a floating dock and then down a few steps into the cabin, so she isn't suited to guests with mobility limitations.

FAQ's

•This is a fully functional sailboat, accessed by steps up from a floating pontoon and then down a few steps into the cabin area - not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
•Boats are not for everyone. The ropes may creak, the water pumps are louder than a normal faucet, and although the marina is sheltered, the boat may rock slightly.
•The toilet is a marine toilet with a manual pump and connects to a holding tank. Please follow the welcome guide instructions for proper use - overfilling the holding tank can cause odors and backups.
•The onboard shower is compact. Marina bathhouse showers are a short walk from the slip and open to guests anytime.

Serenity is docked at Safe Harbour Marina which is a beautiful tropical landscape marina in Stock Island which is a 15-minute ride to downtown Key West. There is the Famous locals Restaurant and Bar the Hogfish located at the Marina. Serenity is on the point of the marina and has nice views with a large dock with outside seating. Safe Harbour is a very secure marina and has a small friendly community of liveaboards that look out for everybody. Our cohost Glen lives in the cottage in front of Serenity and are available to address any issues that occur and share his local knowledge of the Island and values your privacy and will not disturb you.

There is plenty of seating in front of Serenity on the dock that is exclusively for Serenity guests only with a nice sitting area with a grill to enjoy the beautiful sunset Key West is famous for. There are two refrigerators and an ice maker. There are all cooking utensils on board you might need. One private parking spot provided in a locked gated driveway.

Serenity is a 1983 60 ft Catalina /Morgan Schooner. It has the classic beautiful teak interior that the older sailing vessels are known for. A large, covered cockpit to sit and enjoy sunsets. There is one large stateroom with a Queen-size bed and its own private bathroom. There are two separate smaller staterooms with a twin bed that can be pulled out to a full in each. There is an additional single bunk in the captains' quarters off the galley. The galley has a propane stove and oven, large kitchen sink, large drawer refrigerator, a large icemaker and plenty of storage. The saloon is large with plenty of seating and a large table that can folds in half to give more space. There is a tv for your entertainment and free starlink wifi. A Fusion stereo system with Bluetooth to enjoy your favorite playlists. Serenity just had a major refit with all new systems In it, Interior and exterior wood all newly refinished and exterior newly painted, all new appliances, new cushions throughout the boat and is maintained on a regular basis.

Per USCG we are required to have a bareboat agreement on board and will send a copy to your email address provided to us by Vrbo and will need it to be signed 24 hours before your check in time. As this is a boat we our required to go over safety equipment and make sure you're comfortable with handling any emergency situations so we cannot offer self-check ins and have to meet you on the boat on your check in. Because of this we cannot do late check ins without prior written ok which is subject to our availability. Our last check in is 6:00 pm.

We offer the following excursions and encourage you to book one which will be one of the best moments of your stay. This is above Vbro costs and will need to be booked separately within 24 hrs of your booking through Vbro.

These excursions will provide you with a memorable experience. Serenity sails beautifully and you can learn the art and thrill of sailing. You will be allowed to steer the boat help put out the sails if you wish or just sit back and relax while the crew does all the work.

2-hour sunset sail. $600.00 plus tax and a gratuity to your captain.

6 -hour sail to the Reef for snorkeling with lunch provided. $1,200.00 plus tax and a gratuity to your captain.

24 - hour overnight at anchor with a license captain on board $2,000.00 plus tax

Charters and Rentals subject to availability and weather.

Hurricane Season. Please note Serenity is a large sailboat and per insurance regulations and the safety of the boat and guests, the boat will be hauled out of the water if there is a threat of a named storm developing with key west in its path. This will make the boat unavailable for a period of 10 days or more. Per Vrbo rules we as hosts our not allowed to cancel a reservation without severe penalty's unless it falls within their guidelines which a threat of a named storm is not considered until it becomes a named storm. We will inform you the boat will be hauled out due to a threat of a named storm and you will need to cancel the reservations which we will give back a full refund which you will need to request with your cancellation if you wish not to cancel your reservation and we our forced to honor the reservation the boat will be made available to stay on in the boat yard. Please note there will be no Air Conditioning and you will have to climb a 16 ft ladder to board Serenity. The boat will be highly uncomfortable.

Serenity has beautiful wood floors and large suitcases with wheels tend to scratch the floors. In order to keep Serenity looking good we only allow soft sided luggage such as backpacks, garment bags and duffle bags. If you are not traveling by car, we can store your large luggage in the owner's cottage next to Serenity. We have complimentary tote bags to transfer your belongings onboard.

Serenity is docked stern to, boarding the boat involves walking across a boarding ramp that we call the gangway and descending stairs into the cabin that we call the companionway.
