Very nice hotel with a superb view!
The hotel offers a shuttle service to the port, which is very useful. The staff are incredibly friendly; we received a wonderful welcome with all the necessary explanations. They are easy to reach and perfectly meet all expectations!
The restaurant is expensive but high quality and boasts a great view. Alternatively, there's an affordable restaurant right next door.
The view is fantastic, but beware if you have reduced mobility; there are many steps between the beach, pool, rooms, and restaurant.
Furthermore, it's a shame that you have to pay for snorkeling masks or other activities. For a hotel of this caliber, even outside an all-inclusive package, these should be complimentary.
Regarding the cleanliness of the rooms, we believe it could have been better. A ferry ticket belonging to another guest was stuck on a wall, there was quite a bit of dust, and a dead gnat in the bathroom wasn't cleaned for three days.
Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay! We recommend this hotel.FromPHP 9,049

The room is spacious, well decorated, the service is quite warm, the view is very good, the scenery is amazing
Facilities: lack of gym, can only regard mountain climbing as exercise... The hotel does not provide motorcycles, you can only rent them yourself, but you can't move without a motorcycle
Sanitation: Not bad, there are occasionally small insects and geckos, but the impact is not big
Environment: How to describe the environment, very primitive, it requires hard-core people with big hearts to stay. If the elderly and children want to go out, they have to call a taxi, which is relatively troublesome
There is a big slope outside the hotel, so be careful when riding a motorcycle. If you don't ride a motorcycle, it will be very hard to climb up directly.
Also, when you return to the hotel at night, pay special attention to lighting the stairs, because there may be some strange thingsSOLD OUT

I stayed 5 days in The blue villa in Over The Moon. The location is great on a hillside overlooking the main bay and treetops. The Blue villa is decorated in a very nice and tasteful way with all modern amenities available. All is kept well and maintained and clean. Breakfast can be ordered by phone in restaurants nearby. First arrival there was black mould in the bathroom, ants in the room and a tear in the curtain. Naturally I complained but received no apology. The staff member on duty seemed inexperienced and couldn’t offer any solutions. I kindly requested someone come and clean it as there was no other room available. Long story short, I showered in a dirty shower that night. The next day a manager apologised and attempted to resolved the issues to a manageable condition. The manager also made some effort to make me feel better which I appreciated. The room itself I loved, 705 is nice and the views are absolutely stunning. However, the shower needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Also staff need training around hospitality.FromPHP 5,265

Nice small resort not very far from the pier. 5mn walk from the pier but away from the noise. Beach on this side of the island is beautiful but not sure that the sea is very clean. Too many boats and resorts around. Very nice staff. Swimming pool should be clean more often: tree leaves in the pool. Good value for the quality, probably much more than the other resorts on the walking street. The other resorts on the other parts of the island are bets for the quality. Anyway it would cost you a lot to join them by taxi. And pay attention that by night, the roads by motobike are a bit complicated/dangerous.FromPHP 16,785

Simple Life As the name suggests, there were all the best things that were not too luxurious. The room was big and very affordable. The pool is not big, but it was good. There was a pick-up and he came to pick me up, but for some reason I was asked to pay 50 baht on my way home. This was a defect in the ball. Others were good.SOLD OUT

Bans! Been in and out this place throughout the years since 2015 and kept coming back wether I dive or just having a chill trip in koh tao. Bans, was by far MY FAV for many reasons. Location is great, big resorts, i am in love with pool with cafe (behind the lake) and their outdoor shower + amenities! I enjoy my morning dips, my painting session, my coffee and books afternoon. Just this time round, it was just a tad different feelings and experience. Mostly are still great but theres confusion of the room booked and the actual room itself (i reckon website needs to be updated and clearer details) and a minor incident where I have to pay additional 1 night just because the reception didn’t remember that Ive paid which partly my fault for not asking receipt and or prove of payment. Also, Bans used to be having such a great team member in service but ive came across some that’s quite cold and impatient unfortunately this time round unfortunately. sad 😢 and last thing my room floor were sandy meaning the room cleaning isnt that immaculate. Hopefully, next time I go back “home” this feeling was just such indifference and bans will still be me fav.FromPHP 4,503

Highly recommended 👍👍👍. More than two kilometers away from the pier, but there is a free car to pick up and drop off. The beach is beautiful, very comfortable, calm and quiet, swimming is very comfortable, very suitable for children to play in the water. The resort has its own diving training, and it is suitable for those who want to learn diving. I would not recommend staying at Sairee Hut Resort.
The place is extremely run down. Our room had no hot water, the shower drain was clogged and overflowing, and mosquitoes filled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
However, what bothered me most was the resort’s treatment of animals. They keep wild birds confined in small cages out front, with barely any room to move, let alone fly. I’m not sure if this is cultural or meant for tourist entertainment since the birds can talk, but whatever the reason, it is cruel! Birds are meant to be free, not locked in cages for display. These birds were kept in the cages for the entire duration of our stay, and I can only imagine how long they’ve been trapped there.
Overall, this resort was disappointing, both in its facilities and ethics. I would not stay here again.FromPHP 4,293

The hotel isn't brand new, but the rooms are spacious. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view, complete with a daybed, which was a fantastic feature. It's located on the other side of the pier. While there's a shuttle service, we preferred renting a scooter to get around. Breakfast was pretty standard and could get quite crowded. The beach is gorgeous, and they offer complimentary kayaks for guests. They also have three excellent swimming pools. Overall, we were satisfied with our two-day stay.FromPHP 7,438

Pros:
The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beach in front of the hotel was stunning. The staff were very attentive and always helped with carrying our luggage. They also assisted in calling a taxi for us. We especially appreciated the complimentary paddle boards and kayaks available at the beach a wonderful touch!
Areas for improvement:
The road leading to the hotel is quite steep, and the entrance can be a bit dark at night. Improving the lighting and signage could help make guests feel more comfortable.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Keep up the great work!FromPHP 8,778
