The room is great! Clean and tidy, it is a chain of Holliday! It’s very comfortable to live in. The lobby manager’s fat brother is very humorous. The stay is very relaxing. The flowers at the entrance of the hotel are very beautiful. Buffalo is a small town in front of the east entrance of Yellowstone Park. It takes about 4 hours to drive. It is a little farther away from Yellowstone than Cody. But still very convenient!

Front desk personnel not wearing masks and did not offer to put on when asked about it. There was a plexiglass shield in place, but suggested guidance when dealing with people in a very public place is to wear a mask along with the shield. Combine this with most of the customers that we saw not wearing masks and we did not feel it was a great environment. We know it was a risk to even travel at this time, but when everyone practices safe procedures, it definitely helps. Seems counter-intuitive that a business depending on tourists of all ages and varying health issues, would not have the courtesy and common sense to practice this most basic act during a pandemic to protect the customers that keep that property afloat, not to mention protect their own health. We will definitely be checking out properties more closely in the future,. We chose Holiday Inn because of their stated cleaning policies, mask policies etc. But of the three properties, only one stood out as walking the talk (Spokane Valley, Washington). The room was okay, seemed clean, just hope the cleaning staff work their masks. There were pre-wrapped breakfast items available which was fine. I know we all miss traveling pre-covid but I just want to be around when this is all over and giving up self-serve breakfast is a no-brainer.
