We loved our stay at TomTom. It was a bit of a challenge for our taxi driver to get to the hotel since it's on a restricted access street (it's across from the Italian Consulate), so he dropped us one block away. However, taxis called by the hotel staff can drive up to the hotel door. Since it's on a restricted street, the hotel is *quiet*, though the nearby area is very busy and lively. The staff were phenomenal, with a perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness. They booked hamam appointments for us at Cagaloglu (phenomenal!) and were helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were great as well. The breakfast spread was impressive - like a buffet at your table (plus eggs to-order if you wish). The views of treetops, the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn from the restaurant were wonderful. The rooms were larger than we expected, with super-high ceilings. The bedding was comfy. The bathroom was spacious. The toilet had a bidet and the shower had ample water pressure and hot water. Wi-Fi worked great. There is only one elevator, but we never waited more than a few minutes. Tomtom is in a great location, near lots of galleries and restaurants. It was a 5 minute walk to the tram and a 10 minute walk to the metro. The area is quite hilly, so bring comfortable walking shoes. For nearby restaurants, we particularly liked Yeni Lokanta. We hope to stay at TomTom again before too long!

Checked in at late hour due to taking the wrong route to the hotel, but the hotel manager advised a shorter route which we happily followed during our stay. It was situated on a steep slope, true to what we've read from past reviews. A gem and we truly enjoyed our stay. Not many rooms (max 6 rooms on each level), hence no crowd at breakfast. We got the standard room and it was big enough for us, especially the bathroom. Everything was perfect for us, except there's a gap at the shower door so you can imagine the water flowed through and flooded the bathroom. Perhaps it's our fault, not sure. Also, our room facing rooftop so every night and day we could hear birds chirping which was quite disturbing for my sleep. Not a big thing but something to note. They served breakfast set, so you only get to choose your beverages and eggs. It was too much for us and can be a bit food wastage. We requested for hotel to arrange airport transfer (via normal taxi) and to note we would pay via CC. However, the card machine didn't work and we paid via euro. Nonetheless, i would stay here again since it's pretty accessible (max 30mins to Grand Bazaar)
