The guest I booked for enjoyed staying at QVEST but would noted that it would have been very helpful to know in advance that the room does not come equipped with an air conditioning unit.

The location/church view is super good, and the room decoration after renovation is very online

The level of cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations. There were a number of long hairs on the floor of the bathroom which had clearly not been cleaned properly The reception were apologetic and I was moved to another room - the bathroom also had some hairs. Cologne is a beautiful city and the hotel is well located, however it was overpriced for the standard unfortunately. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels and I definitely will next time. There should not be a number of hairs on the floor if it is properly cleaned. Very disappointed

1. I booked a two-night stay and asked for an extra key card since my camera was charging in the room. However, the key card they gave me was only valid for one day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport). Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand. 2. As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs. However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face. I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam.' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure.

One night stay so all good with close to station. Room very small so bed was very small. Smallest double bed we got in our 5 weeks Europe trip. Breakfast was good and that’s why we booked so not disappointed. Got room early so we got more time to walk around town.  Fruits and water at reception. 

Close to the train station, very convenient But there is a apartment on the side that is easy to go wrong European supermarkets are closing too early. The Asian supermarket on the side is great

Vor allem das Frühstück ist hervorragend, das Personal super freundlich. Unser Fernseher hat zwar aufgrund eines Updates nicht funktioniert (braucht man aber auch nicht zwingend ;)) alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder. Die 8. Etage ist zum wohnen super, die kleine „Terrasse‘‘ ist süß, da man einmal 360 grad herum gehen kann.

The room was clean and the bed wasn't a twin size, which was great, and the duvet was large. The location is excellent, close to the Dom and Cologne Central Station, as well as museums. It's also perfect for shopping and offers a variety of dining options. The breakfast was superb.
