Breakfast huge and tasty, there is everything, even common quail eggs…
Rooms big and have nice views to city or mountais.
Gym is very good too. Pool not big but enough good, sauna just separate in mans and womans changing rooms.

My stay at Rixos Almaty in the Deluxe Twin Room with Park View was exceptional. The room was well-appointed, and the surroundings were incredibly quiet. It's located directly opposite a park, offering lovely views. From the higher floors, you can even see breathtaking snow-capped mountains. The staff were very warm and attentive.

The room is very modern, with all the necessary hotel facilities. You can check in with your luggage, and you don't need to bring anything. The scenic area is not big but very unique, and the tree house can really help you sleep. If you are usually stressed, you might as well stay here for a few days. The wooden house in the forest, I believe the fragrance of pure plants can heal people's pain and fatigue.

I would recommend this hotel. Nice area(far from center of city), good breakfast. Swimming pool(we expected pool will be bigger but it’s fine, morning time not many people so you can enjoy).

It was really old and simple. It should be an old version of Hampton by Hilton in China. So the price of more than 1,000 yuan was really not worth it. I changed it decisively the next day.

The room is surprisingly big, and the 1.8m big bed looks small in the room. It's too far to watch TV when lying on the bed 😂 It also has a small balcony. The interior decoration of the hotel is also very grand.
The only thing is that it is a little old and the location is a little far, but everything else is good

During our first round trip to Kazakhstan, we stayed at the hotel for seven nights, moving between four different rooms. Although this particular room was a standard one, we found it to be the best of the bunch. Perhaps the kind staff member at the front desk gave us a bit of special treatment. The large bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and it even offered a mountain view. The enclosed shower stall was, without exaggeration, the best we've ever used – not a single drop of water leaked out! When we requested boiled water, the front desk staff immediately arranged for a kettle to be sent to our room. The service was truly excellent and satisfying! We had a 10 PM flight, and we were able to comfortably relax and use our phones for the entire afternoon at the hotel lobby's coffee area. This further reinforced our impression of the hotel's great service. The front desk even assisted us in booking a taxi online for our trip to the airport, which saved us a considerable amount. Great hotel in convenient location. Had spent the previous 3 weeks travelling the Silk Road and trekking in Kyrgyzstan so some luxury was welcome. Ideally would have preferred a swimming pool but the top storey jacuzzis were a treat. Only quibble was that there were no toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived other than shampoo and shower gel dispensers which were riveted to the wall of the shower. When I asked for hair conditioner I was informed that it was not available for basic rooms. It would have been so easy for them to have given me the hair conditioner and then receive a 10/10 rating but they were quite obstinate in refusing to do so.FromOMR 53

Can I say this is the best hotel I stayed in Kazakhstan? There are almost no traffic lights on the entire road from the airport to the hotel. Although it is a bit far from the airport. But arriving soon. And the price is very good. Really highly recommended. The room is comfortable, clean and large, and the service is good. The front desk can speak fluent English. Perfect communication. Because it was very late when I arrived. The hotel called a car to pick me up. I had to catch a very early flight the next day. Without any special instructions from the front desk, the hotel called me to remind me that I was going to the airport. And help hail a taxi. Taking a taxi to the airport costs more than 1,700 tenge, which is very cheap.FromOMR 35

It is located centrally, enabling travellers to have easy assess to connecting public bus services, subways, walking distance to nearby eateries, restaurants, the famous Green Bazaar and the sceneic, spacious park that housed the famous Zenkov Cathedral!
All the staffs were amazing, from the frontline to the housekeeping and managers on duty. They communicated well, speak good English, and were extremely patient and helpful in answering my questions about the hotel facilities, going to certain places, etc.
Although the breakfast food selection is not much, it was still outstanding - the bread were fresh, the coffee selection is excellent, fresh cut fruits, and these were sufficient to fill my appetite during my stay for the breakfast!
I would definitely recommend travellers and visitors to Almaty to consider staying at the Grand Tien Shan hotel, its a ”GRAND” feeling you wouldn't want to miss! Enjoy!FromOMR 30

Just over 1 km walk to the north is the Ascension Cathedral and 28 Warriors Park, about 1 km walk to the west and south is the Central Museum, and less than 1 km walk to the east and south is the Peak Tram Station. The room is also very good. Although it is old, the equipment is well maintained. The wash basin, shower head, and toilet are all very useful and do not look dilapidated.
