Others said that you must come and sleep here, so I believed it. The view from the hotel upstairs is very beautiful... I mean very beautiful. But the room is not good. When you open the window, you only see the parking lot. I recommend going up to see the view, go eat, and then go sleep outside. 15,000 ++ per night. The view and the condition of the room are not worth the price.

Maswik lodge in the GC park is great for families.  Rates, accommodations, staff helpfulness, food quality, location all superior.  We needed adjoining rooms and they obliged.

As everyone has said, the location is great! Our room was a 30 second walk from the rim. It's a couple of minutes walk from both red and blue shuttle bus stops. Rooms are decent size with a small fridge, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours as if they were in the room with you. Parking is convenient but very competitive. They have a small shop with souvenirs, gear and snacks.
