It’s okay to live, but the facilities are relatively old. There is a point that I have to vomit, set the executive suite, but the Executive Lounge can't go to eat. This is a little pit, the hotel has no problem. Ctrip's description has big problems, very bad experience

I’m staying at this wonderful hotel with my wife since the 3rd of November. These dedicated staff make our stay great. They are very friendly, always smiling and hard-working.I’ll start with reception staff whom I don’t know all their names but, they are friendly and helpful. Also, food is very tasty and the serving staff like Misses Reya,Noah’s,Ranjou and Pamela and Mr Wali. They made us feel like at home. Then, come these hard-working housekeeping staff like Miss Irish and Mr Asfak,Gopal,Rajendra who are always there for keeping our room shining.Of course I won’t forget these hard-working people of the swimming pool Yousef and Alan who are keeping it always in the best condition. On the whole,it is a marvelous experience.Thank you all

This hotel has two types of rooms, the difference is very big, one is called hotel room, which is the city view, the sea view, belongs to the hotel room, the floor is relatively high, the interior is relatively modern, the other is the cheapest, called standard room, the corresponding room is very old, there is a smell in it, the bathroom is very simple. I chose both room types because of a business trip delay. I lived well first. When I moved away, the difference was very large. Fortunately, with the help of Ctrip customer service, my order was upgraded to a good room type. ps, the price on this hotel is much cheaper than the hotel walk in price, including the price difference to upgrade the room type. The hotel front desk upgrade room type requires 200QAR / night, about 360 RMB / night, while the Ctrip price difference is only 130 RMB / night. . . Finally, thanks to Ctrip customer service!

We stayed for the second time. What a waste of money. Was treated rudely and disrespectfully by the reception manager Igor who tried to charge me for a complimentary baby crib! He then waved another member of staff to talk to me and walked off. IGOR, remember the name! 3 days in, he continued being rude. He didn't have the decency to apologise when he saw me waiting for 10 minutes, I had to stamp my own car parking ticket as he ignored me! 3 days in and no manager available to deal with the attitude. He could've easily apologised at any time in the 3 days but was too arrogant to do so! The hotel reeks of uneducated and unprofessional staff who have no idea of how to behave in a service industry. For example when we checked out, we forgot a few things. I phoned them, the lady didn't even answer with the hotel's name. She promised to check with housekeeping and phone back. Nothing. I phone back 30 minutes later, again promised a call back. Nothing. I phoned again an hour later for the 3rd time! A 5 star hotel?? Thank goodness for the WhatsApp guest services who were prompt and helpful, and Manja who is a real gentleman. But I don't think we'll be back, just an absolute awful hotel experience. Oh by the way, 3 mornings, 2 of them they got the breakfast wrong. The heated pool was cold. The kids box play room was great. The restaurant doesn't exist.

Overall, nothing has changed. This location is located in the office area and the overall price is slightly more expensive. Four-star and five-star movenpick by the sea are almost the same price. Breakfast is not a buffet style. There are four choices. You need to order a meal at the front desk every time you eat breakfast, which is relatively slow. The restaurant is small. A very bad experience is that on the first day, we said that we did not include breakfast. I don't know what went wrong, but it was solved in the end.

Breakfast is OK, that is, the vegetables are less. There are also many types of fruits and drinks. The porridge made from fish, soybeans and fennel beans was good every other day. Yogurt tastes more. A plate of pastries was also delivered on Christmas Eve.

I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel for three nights and experienced a roller coaster ride from anger to comfort. Before going, I booked a twin room with pearl view with longing. I hope to enjoy the true beauty of Pearl Island. When I entered the room, I found that I spent a lot of money on the balcony, and the balcony turned into a wall-view room. After arguing with the front desk reasonably, I changed a room for me. Before going to bed, I found that the bathroom lights were broken and the door was broken. So I was completely disappointed, I didn't dare to trust Kempinski anymore, I just wanted to check out and change to a hotel. I happened to meet the manager of the hotel Omar during another fight with the front desk at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, he changed a suite for me, and the result was quite gratifying. But thinking about the previous experience, I was tossing and changing rooms with my child dragging a suitcase. This hotel's attitude towards Chinese guests is obvious. Never see me, Kempinski!

The location is relatively remote, under the overpass, and the surrounding area is under construction. The entire Doha is under construction. When you return to the hotel every day, you have to go around if you miss the overpass exit; However, if you have been to Doha for a long time, I still recommend this hotel. The facilities in the hotel are very good and the rooms are large enough. The price may be half of the city center. If you rent a car, it will take more than ten minutes. It doesn't matter, it feels comfortable to stay in the room

Great location - situated right in Souq Waqif with lots of restaurants to choose from; also a short walk away from the main bus station, which has buses to a lot of places. Big rooms which is clean with amazing complimentary coffee! Arrived at 8am from an overnight flight and was really tired but was told though room is ready, additional charges will be incurred if I check in at 8am:( I was made to wait for 2.5 hours in the lobby for early check in at 10.30am (without additional charge). Overall still a very pleasant stay for my two days layover in Doha.

Restaurant beautifully decorated. Staff were excellent, very polite and keen to help. Became really busy at 8pm and the food area became slight cramped. Many Indian dishes, spring rolls and biryani was tasty but tikka chicken and naans could have been better. Best highlight was the tasty grilled fish. There were a good number of vegetarian dishes. Desserts also enjoyable. Only downside was the drinks which were expensive- a litre bottle of water is qr20.

My husband and I stayed over the weekend to celebrate my birthday. What made it more special, is the superb quality of service we received from the team of Mandarin Oriental from check-in to check out. We recieved a warm welcome from Alkista during the reservation as well as upon our arrival in the hotel premises. We also appreciate the assistance of Zoe from the front desk who showed exceptional effort to welcome us, even guided us towards our room and allowed us to have a late checkout at 4pm. The Deluxe room is spacious with a nice view of Barahat Msheireb town square. As we entered the room , a delectable choices of dates with a birthday greeting cake was prepared for me. The F&B team from the Mandarin lounge were also very accommodating. The foods were great and overall, we really enjoyed our short stay. We plan to experience the pool and spa amenities in our next visit once the covid restrictions are lifted. Inshallah!

My family and I been at the hotel since Feb., By then, we experience their great welcoming. From the reception to room-clean maintenance, and up to their dine area, I can say it's all well manage. Worth to mention these awesome staffs whose superb at their work named Amit, Kelvin and Anna from dine area, tje concierge staffs,Bins and his team from housekeeping that always arrange the "playground of my daughter😊 and last but not the least utmost thanks to Krishna from HK dept, Binnie from the reception you guys are awesome!👌 Shout out to their delicate seafoods and barbeque buffet in Al bahara Resto, fresh and lots of varieties definitely worth to visit! All are good but I recommend and wish to at least the presence of some stuffs like bathtub for moms to be more convenient for their toddlers, for the heavy door that wish to change it to sliding doors which is efficient if you carry stroller. It would be nice as well if they put a heater on kids pool, we would appreciate it and it's for the kids health concern. Last, wish and recommend if they will appoint someone for apartment's reception side that would be able to assist the apartment owners from their concerns. Hope that the staffs are more reliable and get back to you when you contacted them for any queries and requests like Binnie and Kayleen.

When I checked in, there happened to be a team, and the security was very good. I saw the hotel with security for the first time. The hotel has an airport shuttle, 20 Qatar coins. When you call the hotel at the airport or ask at the airport information desk, they will let you who are waiting at the airport for a long time to find you. The rooms have electric toilets, there are no high-rise buildings outside the hotel, and the views are very good. There are introduction materials in Chinese in the room to introduce the basic situation in the area.

Spent ten days in Doha in February 2020 at the Kempinski in the West Bay area of town. While most of the property is residential apartments, five or so of the lower floors are reserved for short-term hotel rentals, while apparently having the same floor plans of the actual long-term residences. From check-in to check-out, I found this property to be amazing: fantastic customer service and an incredibly spacious suite that included a full kitchen, sitting room, and separate bedroom. Room service dining was great. (Did not sample the on-site restaurants.) Property is close to a full-service mall, Carrefour superstore, and the brand-new spotless Doha Metro system. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to a comfortable stay at Staybridge during our stopover in Doha. We arrived at 2am on Jan2 and my first disappointment was the lobby. The furnishing were cheap and univiting (see photo) not at all what I expected from a highly rated hotel. When we got to our floor the hallway was narrow, bare, harsh white walls and floor, almost devoid of decor (see photo), again quite cold and cheap looking. Enterring the apartment there was an alcove with a table at the end (see photo) again not appealing to me. The rest of the apartment were a large dining room, bedroom with very nice bedding, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and a terrace. I was exhausted after a 20 hour flight and just wanted to check my emails and get in bed. The electric outlets were not European nor any that would take my international adapter. Nor were there any adapters in the room. The front desk must have known that outlets in Qatar were unique but didn't say anything. Thus followed my first call to reception and waiting for someone to deliver the necessary adapter. Once plugged in I found out that, again, we weren't given a wifi code, nor was there one waiting for us in the room. That was my second call for someone to give us a wifi code (now its about 2:30am). Even with the code we still could not access the wifi so someone (#1) came to help but he couldn't solve the problem so he called for someone more knowledgeable. That person (#2) came, couldn't solve it and called for yet another person to come. That person (#3) came, assessed the situation and called his technical support. After some trial and error the problem was diagnosed and resolved. They told me that the hotels firewall was rejecting my computer, phone and tablet. At 3:30 am I finally checked my mail and went to bed. Breakfast was served from 6am to 10 am. The staff was continually checking that we were happy. The food itself was a basic spread, an egg station, some bread, cereal, etc. I don't think they had fresh fruit. After breakfast we went for a walk around the area. There was nothing!!! no shops, no cafes, no pharmacy, nothing. The location is desolate. We did walk to the water which was nearby. It was a pleasant but totally empty boardwalk. At 2pm my guide, for our afternoon tour arrived. He told me that he felt that the front desk was rude to him. When he asked for me they simply said 'Sit over there'. After our tour we returned to the hotel at about 6:30pm. We planned to spend 4 hours in the room then leave for the airport. We found that the room had not been cleaned. There were no fresh towels. One bathroom had no toilet paper. No one had replaced the used bottled water. I travel alot and have never had a hotel miss cleaning my room, never. We were at the hotel from 2am on Jan 2 until 10pm on Jan 3, 20 hours. I paid QAR 1,235, about $339 for the 2 nights. I'm very disapp

Good location, newly opened subway station AL SAAB next to the yellow line, the cost is close to domestic first-tier cities. Taxi is also very good, and it is not expensive. From the hotel to the airport during the day, it cost only 27 yuan. A taxi to Doha back to the hotel in the middle of the night is a bit expensive, 56 local money is acceptable. The hotel is cost-effective, and there is an international chain restaurant CHILI ’S on the right hand side when you go out. You must know that the price of such restaurants is generally lower than domestic in foreign countries. The climate in Doha was pleasant in January. There were not many tourists during the day, and there were many tourists in downtown at night. Everything in the hotel room is okay, the only thing is that the platform of the bathtub is too high. The safe way to get in and out of the bathtub is to lay a towel, sit on the edge of the bathtub and move your feet into the bathtub.

Ctrip wrote that the front desk of the hotel is not 24 hours, and the check-in time is only until 11 o'clock in the evening, but it was almost one o'clock in the morning when we arrived at the time, and check in was completely fine. The hotel is still quite good, with more than 900 hotels outperforming those in San Francisco in the past few years that there was nothing more than 1k. Software and hardware can be regarded as a four-star + level. It is said that it was run by members of the cartel royal family. Some time ago, a singer lived here and became a local Internet celebrity check-in place. The hotel room was very clean. Fruits were delivered when checking in, and I didn't finish eating until the check out. Many bottles of mineral water are put everywhere every day, and it is enough to drink in pairs. There is a kettle for boiling hot water, which is very convenient. The hotel’s breakfast is also quite rich, and the taste is also good, all kinds of bean paste dipped in white cake or bread are good. The waiter was very smart. After the first day, the waiter girl actually asked me if I wanted to take yesterday's seat, and then she led me to yesterday's seat. It was amazing!

Hyatt Residence is a Gem in it's own standing. The Hotel is conveniently located near the City Center with all the shopping choices and eating places.I was staying with my in-laws who had come to visit from Bahrain when my wife gave birth to our second girl. I had done prices analysis in other Hotels to book for them but i was not convinced enough to book. When i approached the reception i was met with Mr. Abgao and welcomed my wife and I with a warm smile. What really sold me was his explanation of the Hotel and facilities as a whole and the way he engaged us in the whole process.Needless to say:he knows his stuff. My In-laws enjoyed their stay and I must say the staff are amazing and do all they can for the guest to make them feel at home. This was quite an experience.

Hello fellow travelers and Visitors, I am writing to share my very first time to stay at a two star hotel in my life. Frankly, It has changed my mind and open my mind that really it doesn’t matter the rate of the hotel, however, the staff were incredibly friendly, taking every initiative to make someone’s day, they are always happy, generous, always smiling and caring. The manager was from the UK and she made every thing seems like you are staying at home with your family, mates and friends. Furthermore, the room I stayed in was 302, specious and cozy. it has a comfortable twin beds, a nice wardrobe, an ironing board, extension wires, TV, a microwave, of course great toilet. Nothing to complain, it doesn’t feel you are at a typical hotel nor a hostel and It is a place where you call it home away from home. There are affordable dry cleaners, you are able to walk to Souk Waqif just around 20 minutes. There is a mosque beside the hotel. Overall, my experience has been a five star experience at a two star hotel. The staff are your best friends and locations is safe, I highly recommend it if you are on a budget and seek to have a great experience. Have a great time in Doha, Qatar.
