1. The location of the hotel is very good, walk to the city center attractions for half an hour. 2. There are several small supermarkets around the hotel, which are quite convenient, but they close too early. 3. The hotel has a parking lot, and the cost of a day is 10 Euros. 4. The area of the room is quite large, and there is a balcony, which is quite satisfactory. There are electric fans and small sofas in the house. But it's rather depressing to not drink a cup. 5. The interior of the hotel is relatively quiet, and the surrounding noises are occasionally heard, but there is no effect.

How to say it, the unit price of 900 a night includes double breakfast, mixed good and bad: Advantages: The service is enthusiastic, all are middle-aged and elderly waiters, especially the breakfast bag meal service is particularly good, the breakfast is really rich. No problem with hygiene. Very close to the subway station and very convenient. The hotel can provide a free parking space card, which saves a lot of parking fees and can be exchanged for a deposit of 50 euros. The hotel is decorated in an old-fashioned style, but the hygiene looks good. Disadvantages: The room is really very small. The bed in the twin room is only about 90mm. It feels like half of the person has to swing outside. Sleep is seriously insecure~The hotel has only one floor fan, the sound is a bit loud, it should be used for some years, and some affect sleep. Come to play next time, although the service is very good, but I still don't know how to choose it

The location is very close to the subway station. The room is generally ok, the area is relatively large, with a balcony, a small garden in the atrium. You need to bring your own toiletries. Roll paper and shower gel, hand sanitizer is there... This price is 80 points. Slippers need to bring their own.

So I see some old and untrue reviews on here. So I’m going to update that because we have just had a lovely week at Mons Hotel. The room was absolutely spotless on arrival, brand new refurb by the looks of it- really on trend design, we loved it. The room was serviced daily (although we were not informed of this it was a nice touch). I’m not sure on their routine because each day they did something different, one day bed, the next day rubbish only, next day towel change. Didn’t bother me but found it odd that they would make the bed and leave the rubbish or take the rubbish and leave the bed haha. Anyway more observation than Issue and like I say we weren’t expected any bed making so no issues here. Didn’t find it noisy particularly, it’s a city so will never be silent. It was perfect for us, brilliant location, right opposite UBahn to Marienplatz which takes 3 mins. Or you could walk there I. 25mins. Coffee shops and supermarket on doorstep. I enjoyed the no fuss check in, got clean instructions on how to access our room. All in all for a week long city break this was great. Thank you :) would defo come again. Oh and there is a fridge and coffee machine and glasses provided. Great tv too, we logged into our Netflix no issues. Also had a small balcony which we weren’t expecting so that was good!

First time to Germany and Octoberfest and can say this hotel is in a great location. A lot of great experiences including Octoberfest and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. Pros: Location Lobby/bar/restaurant (kind of all one thing but it works) Staff - most spoke English well enough to understand you. They were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast- My wife was not impressed but I thought it was better than typical ”continental” breakfast you get in a US hotel. Not obvious but they have a carafe of drip coffee near the expresso machine. Quiet - we had a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The bar/restaurant extends into the courtyard which I thought would be a problem but they have everyone come inside I think around 10 ish so we did not hear the bar noise. Cons: We had room 20 on the ground floor. Very small by U.S. standards but we expected that. The big issue was the bathroom/shower. The shower is ”enclosed” by shower curtains that have about a 3” gap at the bottom. No sill to catch water either. After showering most of the floor would be wet requiring us to utilize more towels to dry it. At first we thought maybe it was a handicap room but the second issue with bathroom negated that thought. The bathroom door is super heavy duty for some reason. I mean like probably fire proof rated. It was heavy to open and close due to the self closing mechanism. Maybe that is code in Germany but seems unnecessary to me. We had to use one of the room stools to prop it open to help air it out after showers. We stayed with several other couples and saw their rooms which had better bathroom set ups so maybe room 20 is just the one to avoid. Would stay here again just not that room.

Looking back through reviews, I can't believe we never did one for this (trip was actually May 2019) For starters this is very much a no frills, locally owned business and must be judged as such. When it comes to location the Hotel Uhland is hard to beat. It is very close to the main station and has a couple of nearby local stations. It is also a pleasant walk to the Marienplatz area and is literally steps away from the Oktoberfest location (Theresienwiese). Breakfasts have a very good selection that was more than enough to satisfy all of our family (loved the mini Nutella!) Our room was a large 2-bedroom unit with a small kitchen that allowed us to do some grocery shopping and be able to keep leftovers or easily grab and keep food for later. Everything was clean and well kept, with both rooms having tons of storage. The staff were friendly and helpful, keeping our luggage on our early arrival and helping us arrange transport back tot he airport for our flight to Italy. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again upon our return to Munich.

I stayed here twice in September 2021 whilst on business in Germany (total 7 nights). Great location for me as very near to client's office and corona test facility. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby, bus and metro service on the doorstep. All the young staff, in the reception and restaurant, were friendly and efficient at all times. Always saying ”hello” when I entered the hotel. Breakfast was good and I had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice. Tapas-style choices based on different cuisines - Bavarian, Italian, Spanish and Asian. Only minor complaint was the music in the restaurant, most of the time it was ”rap music” which is not what you want to hear first thing in the morning or when relaxing over dinner.

Hotel Kraft is an easy walk from Munich’s main train station. The immediate area around the hotel was in disarray because of the massive reconstruction of the main station. Yet, the hotel was an oasis of calm and quiet. The staff was warm, inviting and more than willing to offer help and sightseeing suggestions. Our room was exceptionally quiet as we were on the backside of the hotel above the terrace. It was clean, nicely furnished, and featured a recently remodel bathroom with a luxurious shower. Each morning a very pleasant breakfast buffet greeted us. It featured cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, breads, cereals, and a selection of hot items. The hotel couldn’t be better located for proximity to the station and the old town and its sights. I would have no hesitation of recommending Hotel Kraft to friends.

This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

For a tourist, the best place to live in Munich is Old Town. This hotel is located in an ugly building. Also, the lobby is quite modest. The breakfast room is stylish. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of food. We were lucky that our room was ready on arrival at 11:15. We had booked a comfort room that is the second-best category after the only suite on the 7th floor. Our room was located on the 5th floor. The views were not great. There was a building opposite the narrow street. Our room was quite spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. However, the living room was very sp****ly furnished, with just two small chairs and a table. There would have been room for a sofa. The bathroom was small but quite functional. On our last day, there was a strange incident. Our room had been cleaned while we were enjoying breakfast. We had left all our stuff on the bed in the order to quickly pack when we returned from breakfast. However, the bed had been made (probably with the sheets we had used). Hopefully, the room was recleaned after our departure. Because of the location, the value was somewhat better for the paid 236 euros per night than in our first hotel, Cocoon Hauptbahnhof. A small minibar replenished daily was included in the price.

Breakfast is included, and the breakfast is rich and good. There is a small cooking table on the side of the entrance. Although the sparrow is small and complete, it has pots, pans and dishwashers. The parking lot is the one with the big hertz written on it. The hotel sign is relatively small and I didn't see it. It was only found on the day of picking up the car. We parked by mistake and parked in the parking lot of the next motel 1, but when motel 1 paid the parking fee, the enthusiastic brother at the front desk said it was okay. He paid the parking fee and gave the ticket. The parking fee is much cheaper than the designated parking lot of the hotel. Piece

I stayed at this hotel many years ago when I attended Oktoberfest and was quite pleased. I had booked again, this time to bring my family to Oktoberfest 2020. I understood they had a no cancellation policy and I had no intention of cancelling as our flights, rental car and other hotels were booked. Unfortuntaely, due to Covid 19, Oktoberfest was cancelled. In this case, I reached out to the hotel to ask for a credit or refund, with a credit for 2021 Oktoberfest acceptable. Their response was no, no refunds or credits. Now, the EU will not allow travel from the US to Germany, so I cannot go even if I wanted to. I renewed my request for a refund or a credit. I have not received a response. I have travel insurance but they will not cover because it is pandemic related. So buyer beware....this hotel will not issue a credit or refund, even if you cannot travel to their country! This is very poor customer service. I understand a no refund policy, but given the circumstances they should have worked with me, everyone else has.

It was absolutely pleasant short stay in February 2023. We made booking by mailing the hotel directly. The reservation person , Ravi, was very helpful during the reservation communication. The hotel has a very convenient location - few steps from Central station.-so one can move around the city with no issues The check in was very smooth, Daniel, receptionist, was very welcoming and efficient at the same time.Thank you, Daniel. The room was of right size, clean and cosy, bathroom was tiny but shiny clean with all amenities one might need during the short stay. WIFI is good, stable signal. Highlight of the stay - breakfast: so delicious options to choose from! Dear restaurant team, thank you very much for fabulous breakfasts! Good value for money paid. The breakfast was very rich and the staff was very premature; all wishes were met immediately. The staff at the reception was also friendly. The only criticism point is the funny big basket that stood in our room = there I ran more often in the dark at night. The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!

I seldom give bad reviews to the service staff because no matter in which country the service staff is hard and will face a lot of unfriendly guests. But this time in Westin made me feel very bad. Total three days of breakfast, first day because I went with my dad and I could see well with my baby. The second day dad was too tired to join us. I was the only one to babysit a one year old baby. While I was ordering tea with the waitress, she accidentally knocked over the milk and spilled it all over the table. But the first thing I did was apologize to a lady server and assisted her in cleaning it up. Of course it was not clean as new. When we went back on the third day, an older male waiter came over to chastise us before we even sat down, presumably meaning that he had soiled the dining chairs yesterday and told us to sit in the baby chairs. I stated that there was no problem and apologized again. Surprisingly he shrugged it off and left without bringing me the baby chair and without serving me tea. You can imagine how embarrassed I was. The person who came to enjoy the service was scolded. That wasn't enough. This time I was with my dad and the baby wasn't creating extra trash and I could make sure the table was clean. The way normal polite people would bring it. The man ended up coming back to chant as we were leaving and kept saying we created trash.????? You didn't have a single crumb from your meal? If you don't want to serve customers, you have the option of changing jobs. Several other lady waiters were very friendly. What was a very good impression of the hotel was ruined by this one person. We will be going to Munich often but are not going to choose this hotel again. No one wants to be stared at by a mean person while eating breakfast.

I'm really conflicted about this hotel, in some ways it's a great hotel and in others not so much. I'll start with check in, I booked a ”Queen bed” which to me means bigger than double especially as there is an option for just a double. so had to pay to upgrade to a ”executive room” which had the bigger bed, so another €60 on to our bill, but was discounted from €90. room was big, bed was very big and very comfortable. had to ask for a kettle (had a coffee machine but no kettle) had a minibar so a fridge which the first room didn't have even tho website says a minibar. all rooms have balconies but no furniture out there so I had to ask for chairs, also dont think the balconies have been cleaned in a while, i left foot prints in the dust. bathroom was old and needs refurbishment, shower pressure is rubbish, water drains very slowly and bath has all gone rusty. our first room was right next to the second room and overlooked some car park but then right next to it is a factory and then behind that some excavation work is taking place, the 1st night all was quiet as it was Easter but the second night from 3.30am lorries with there reversing noises where going on and that night the factory noise went on till almost 10pm. this is not the hotels fault- but if booking a room I would ask for a different location for room. breakfast was beautiful, everything u would want, all presented lovely and u could have omlette made to order. we used the resturant the 1st night, the food was very nice but very expensive- but we later found out this is how Germany is. Husband used the gym- mini gym as they call it and it is mini but it kept him happy for an hour. pool is a added bonus but pictures make it look bigger than it is, Sadly it was far too cold for me to get in and the steam/sauna are only turned on at certain times and we missed the time slot but they both looked good sizes. all the staff we came across, from reception, to restaurant and breakfast staff and especially the cleaners were lovely, very polite and helpful if u have any questions or requests. we would stay here again if it was the original price for the larger bed and if we had a different room location.

Very nice, large and quiet room, love for the detail lacked. At the time of a family member's clinical purchase, I was 4 nights guest at the Empress Hotel. The room was badly cleaned, but this was corrected immediately after my complaint. I was located in the back building, this had the advantage that it was really quiet here, but unfortunately the access path was very poorly illuminated in the evening and not sufficiently widespread or freed from snow. The TV could not be switched off via the remote control, I had to pull the plug, the window which was kicked, I could not close, because here the safety bottles were pressed to protect the intruder and the heft therefore I couldn't use the safe because it didn't work. I also informed the hotel manager, but the shortcomings were not removed during my stay. The Wi-Fi was a single disaster, I used a lot of data volumes because I didn't notice at first that I had to constantly re-select. In the evening, nobody was to reach, I found something scaring. The breakfast buffet was OK, but my musli had to eat from a plastic bowl that I found strange. Dry flowers at the reception are not bad, but have left the impression that I could see everywhere that love is missing in detail.

Booked at the Mercure Hotel for a trade fair visit. 2 nights in a double room with free breakfast for just under 150 euros was a very good price! We arrived from Austria on Friday around noon. There were parking spaces just around the corner. The lady at reception and her trainee tried very hard, but despite the booking confirmation including the correct number, it took a good 10 minutes before we got our room cards. Top (3rd) floor, second to last room. No problem, we want to do 6000 steps a day! On the ground floor there is a bistro machine, cosmetics, souvenirs, information displays, etc. There are 2 elevators - only 1 runs. No idea why. The question becomes relevant when you wait 10 minutes to go to the 3rd floor. It was very cold in the hallway. That's the case everywhere at the moment and is probably due to the idea of saving energy, but it is very unpleasant. Nice room, with a cupboard including coat hooks (not every hotel has one anymore!), safe (now rare), a shower with glass partition, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, cosmetic tissues, soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't open the door when you were sitting on the toilet, but do you want to?? Desk, TV chair, flat screen TV, window that opens, a comfortable bed (not very wide) with good bedding. Kettle with coffee and tea utensils. Everything clean, but not completely clean. Dust bunnies behind the chair on the lamp base (seen by chance because I had dropped something). Very quiet, unless the other guests are trampling down the hallway shouting loudly. We left again in the evening and didn't get back until after midnight, but still found a parking space easily. Slept very well! Breakfast: Very nice area, tables neatly laid out, coffee machine for different types, different types of tea, juices, water, cold long-life milk, large glasses and cups available!, rolls, wholemeal rolls, croissants, sweet pastries, raisin bread, pretzels; jams, honey and Nutella; butter and cream cheese; cereals, sausage, cheese, white sausages, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, 7 min. eggs, pancakes, vegetables, yoghurts, fruit, fruit salad. My husband drinks cocoa for breakfast. It is always a problem in hotels to just get warm milk. The milk from the machine doesn't taste good. When we asked if we could get warm milk, we were told that the machine was broken - the stove? He then drank cold milk, but was not happy. Salt and pepper mills on the tables, as well as sugar and sweetener. Empty bottles were disposed of very promptly. Unfortunately there is nothing for the rubbish on the tables. On Saturday it was really OK. The quality is so-so. The sliced cheese tasted chemical. The ham was cut about 3mm thick. Personally, I don't need salami for breakfast. The water tasted treated, but we come from the foot of the Schneeberg in Austria and the water here tastes fresh and natural - we are spoiled! The Nutella was full of little white balls. I've had that in a glass before, it's probably secreted fat. It tasted totally OK, but it has no place on a buffet. You can use it for Nutella pancakes, or for the staff. The fruit selection was very nice, apples, bananas, sliced kiwis and passion fruit, orange slices, canned mandarins, fruit salad with apples and melons. On Sunday, it was different: You could have broken slices with the pretzel rolls. Some of the pancakes were ”crispy”, but the bacon was sloppy. The scrambled eggs were brought later, but were totally slimy. Unfortunately, there were no pretzels with the white sausages. Everything can run out, but in times like these, when you can have everything frozen, that's not necessary. What can children and my husband drink? Unfortunately, not warm cocoa made with milk! It's a shame - that and the loss of quality on Sunday.

The location is very good, very close to the Deutsches Museum, passing through a green belt and a very beautiful river. And even walking to Munich city centre and Marianne Square is 20-30 minutes. And the separation of a river makes the hotel very quiet. And next to the hotel is an Audi 4S shop, you can go in and see the price of Audi in Germany, haha But I have to say that the conditions inside the room are really average. I am giving the room type with a loft inside the top floor. The bedroom was very small, and I could only put down a bed. I was very happy to see that the bedroom was pushed out and there was a large terrace. But then I found that the terrace was completely connected to the next door, which was not in line with the Chinese people’s habits. It also makes people feel unsafe. The air conditioning in the room is almost equal to the display, plus a few days just arrived in Munich, the sun is shining, it is very hot. So it is difficult to sleep at night. I don't know if it is only the top floor room type. This is an apartment-style hotel with a kitchen in the room. If you want to cook for yourself, it is very convenient. I don't know what it is. In the few days we stayed, we saw that almost half of the tourists in the hotel were Indians. The room area was full of curry.

Perfect for one night on trip to italy, We had a double/connected family room, it was very good. Personally missed the airconditioning but that was no surprise as is was not on the list for the room. Restaurant was good for diner and breakfest, food and drinks are good. Charging electric car is no problem, space for 4 cars next to main entrance.

The breakfast area is small, but very elegant, close to the street on the first floor. It costs about 18 yuan per person. If you need to buy, it is more cost-effective to buy when you book the room. There is also a cafe next to the hotel, and the price is similar. The theme of the hotel is a picture of beautiful women in classical oil paintings. Each door is a picture of beautiful women in famous paintings. The specific allusion comes from a palace in Munich (I forgot the name, it is a scenic spot, you can visit), there are parking spaces on the roadside, and the hotel The location is very good, just near the Olympic Park, and it's also very close to walk.

The hotel is a fair way out of the city centre, however there is a tram located close by. There are a couple of shops and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk, other than this, there is not much close by. The hotel looks nice online, however the rooms are extremely dissapointing. The bed is massive, and yet the duvet and pillows look as if they belong on a single. The room itself was quite scruffy, with marks all over the walls, mould in the shower and an general odd odour. The toilet is seperate from the shower room, which is useful, however the door for both the shower room and toilet is shared. The toilet flusher kept getting jammed, resulting in constant running of water, this was fixed by trying to pull the flusher back level with the wall. The walls to the shower room, and the shared door are both made of glass, meaning that in the middle of the night the other person in the room is woken by the light coming from these rooms. The curtains do not fit the windown frame and are not blackout. Alot of light comes through both the curtain and round the sides. Online it states the room is soundproofed, this is not the case. The room was noisy and we could hear people outside and in the corridors. The bathroom includes a built in hair dryer, whcih looked like it was made in 1970. There were not enough plugs in the room and the mini fridge was not cold enough. There is a safe, which comes in handy for passports etc. The room also has a basic coffee machine, but we were only given two pods, after they were used, there was no more coffee in the room. We chose not to have breakfast as it was overpriced, especially when a short tram ride takes you to the centre of Munich, where lots of cafes offer much cheaper breakfast. The one positive about this hotel is the WIFI, its pretty good. We would not return.

This is a fabulous hotel - clean, all amenities you require, common areas, and close to the Munich central station and within comfortable walking distance of many attractions. We spent 5 nights here and could not fault the hotel or the attention of the staff who were exceptional. Shower was huge with rainwater shower head, bed very comfy. We were not sure whether at our age they would cater for us but we were pleasantly surprised. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for most ages. Would go to this chain again.

So my review is a mixed one, partly positive but deeply dampened by two factors: Firstly, Wombat’s has come to be known as one of if not the party hostel in Munich. That being said - there was no party/pub crawl! (Barring the first night of my stay). This was disappointing, but this was mitigated by the absolutely amazing hosts and guests that I encountered during my stay. I’ll add here that my room was spacious, had a comfy bed and had a great safety system in place for valuables. Now for the second bad bit and this is something I didn’t bring up with them directly as I didn’t want to cause the person I would speak to any distress, but this hostel clearly caters to racists. Above my shower room door (Room 304), there were racial slurs for a number of races and I found it disgusting. How are Black people, white people and Asians supposed to feel comfortable when this what they see in the bathroom? This has to be addressed swiftly or Wombat’s will suffer in the long run.
