The hotel reception is particularly welcoming, the rooms are large, there are safes, refrigerators, electric kettles, coffee machines and other facilities. There is also a mall on the side, which comes with Carrefour, which is suitable for shopping. Some brands in the mall support tax rebates. In terms of transportation, there is a H8/H4 bus stop at the entrance. You can walk to the subway station in about 12 minutes, and a zone1 bus card goes to the world. . . .

It is 2 stars. But feels plain good. The room is cleaned every day, breakfast has jamon, semicurado cheese and a lot of other stuff. WiFi works well. The staff is amazing! Gracias! I spent a week on business and they were always helpful and kind. Gracias! Next to hotel is a large corte inglese shopping mall, mercadona retail and a bunch of restaurants. You have a 10 minute walk to metro line L4 which goes to barceloneta and coast (25 minute ride). Sagrada is about 30-40 minute walk away. The lobby bar is 24/7 and very reasonably priced. Don't let the slightly off location and stars scare you - this is a solid, if a little dated base for your Barcelona adventure!

Not my expectations as I booked a 5 star hotel and had lower quality as it was proposed. Position was perfect for what I had to do but next time I will try an other hotel in this area. Telefonica tower kills the sea view

The hotel is quite dramatic to look at and is in the Forum part of Barcelona. Good tram and train service is nearby. Rooms were adequate and cleaned daily. View would have been brill , we were on 17th floor, but sadly we were looking at another tall building that made the room dark and view less . The shower was an amazing pressure but leaked into the toilet and bathroom ! Nightmare clean towels if requested daily Didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment thought it was expensive 25 euro - local shopping parade close by and had it there for 5 euro. Unable to comment on price of hotel as was a gift Mini bar filled everyday - it holds 2 bottles of water one each of still and sparking 1 lemon tonic 1 coke and 1 beer Pool closed which was a shame as we had beautiful weather The only staff we had dealings with were the reception staff who I found almost to a point rude. Not acknowledging you seemed a inconvenience when we spoke and was on a whole very unhelpful. This was made worse at best there was always 4 plus staff just chatting to themselves They do not exchange English pounds but there is a cash machine in the lobby - at a cost All in all I fell felt it had a business feel to the hotel and not catered for holiday makers. No advice guidance map on hand bar a tube map to support your planning of trip Would I stay there again no - I prefer to be a little closer to the main part of Barcelona, hotel approx 30-40 mins away on tram- and the hotel did not promote a holiday vibe so felt unwelcome.

The recommended hotel to participate in the conference is also the location of the conference venue, which is relatively close to the coast. There is also a large shopping mall on the other side, and it is easier to get to the subway. The only disadvantage is that it is too far away from the urban area, it is best to get a subway ticket if you often go out to play. The rooms are well-equipped and you should only use your own slippers; there is a small gym on the 3rd floor with comprehensive equipment. Since the meeting comes with meal vouchers, the buffet lunch provided is not bad, but others don't know.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and have to say the staff were excellent throughout our stay (especially the lady that checked us in on 7th feb) failed to get her name though. We stayed in a premier room with bathrobes, hairdryer and a mini bar. I wished we could have stayed higher than the 5th floor as there are some great views over Barcelona. I asked for the hotel to organise some flowers for my partners birthday and they done this without a fuss, decorating the room on our return from our day out. They also provided a complementary chocolate box for the birthday celebrations. The breakfast is good value for money with all you could wish for, only the cooked breakfast could be a little bit cold. The hotel is located close to the zoo, city centre and has great transport links around Barcelona. I would recommend a stay here, great value and great staff! Thank you!

The price of this hotel is still relatively high, the corridors in the hotel are designed to be unique and special, like in a museum. The rooms are very welcoming and very clean and comfortable. The hotel also has dry steaming and steaming rooms and exercise equipment. The hotel's breakfast will cost around £11. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the right turn to the beach.

We had a lovely long weekend in Barcelona at the end of February. We always stay in a Hilton if at all possible and the deal we booked luckily included staying at the Diagonal Mar. Lovely welcome - nothing was too much trouble - lots of information on the metro and how to get around to get the most out of our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom area. On the first morning, the hairdryer stopped working almost immediately and I rang Reception without a lot of hope - in less than five minutes, a member of the Housekeeping team was at my door with an excellent replacement - very impressed. There was a lovely food court directly opposite the hotel with a number of restaurants which covered for all tastes. The breakfast eggs bendict in the bar dining area was excellent and very good value for money. For us, Hilton came up trumps again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Exceptional place to stay. 24 hours service from the reception. We had a quality time at Barcelona and at this hotel - such a great location and great staff. They even agreed to keep our luggage and tagged them so professionally, and we were able to collect them back at midnight. There were several apartments close to the cost of this hotel, but trust me, 'Hotels are Hotels', and this is indeed a Star hotel. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

From before we checked in they were amazing. We received an email with loads of information attached the day before. Transport and directions, places to eat and visit. Including local police station incase of emergancy which I thought was a lovely touch! Rooms so comfy. Metro 5min walk connecting to everywhere. Free tea and coffee facilities in room. Air con is brilliant. Staff were so lovely and asked did we need any help or planning to get around barcelona. We got to check out hour and a half later for only 10euro! Will stay here the next time we visit barcalona!

Rooms= very good everything you could want Beds=comfy, choice of pillows is offered Bathroom = again everything you could want, shower gel etc provided along with tooth brushes/tooth paste and comb In room drinks = didn’t use but fridge has refreshments in and tea coffee appeared well stocked Parking = €15 per day underground Lift = say 6 people but alarm goes of with 3+ made me feel fat Bar= good service but very quiet Breakfast = plenty of choice especially with the cold offerings BUT the hot, bacon, sausage, and eggs all cold even though they had just come out of the kitchen, so can’t really understand why. Generally= appears to be the place of choice for visitors who love the smell of mothballs which can be somewhat off putting for someone from the UK

Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends. Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop. Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay. Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel. Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.

Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.

What an amazing Hotel it should be 5 star! It was a little off putting when we arrived as there was a small homeless camp outside, but there was no bother from any of them, and once inside it was soon forgotten about! On arrival, check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink, Cava for us and water for my daughter, she also received a H10 teddy and a sweet! The lovely man checking us in (i'm so sorry i forgot your name) noticed it was my 30th Birthday that day and gave us a room upgrade to a suite. The view from this room was unbelievably awesome with a window the full length of the room! The bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with every toiletry/accessory you'd need and had a jacuzzi bath! The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. We had a cocktail at the bar which was good, and although a bit expensive was the same price as most in the area. One downside was the outdoor rooftop pool wasn't heated which meant although it was open, it was far too cold to use! Lovely seating area up there though which we made use of. A huge thank you to the hotel for the delivery in the evening to our room of Cava, Chocolate Mousse, sweets, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries, The room upgrade was more than enough, and this was so unexpected, what a lovely way to end my birthday! In the morning we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed with a coffee which was very lovely! Breakfast was incredible, nothing was missing, all well stocked and nothing ever ran out! Check Out was super quick and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours before we moved to our next hotel. Biggest downside about our stay was it was only for 1 night, we wished we had booked for longer!

I travelled with my children and we had a superior room with three separate beds. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beach across the road. I have given five stars as the hotel delivers what it sets out to. The staff were very helpful before I travelled, as well as during our stay. I liked that they sent me a survey whilst I was there. We had assumed the air conditioning was not working because we travelled offseason. We were offered an upgrade, which we did not take, however, we did get a fan and this helped a lot.The staff also helped me book tickets online, checked us in early. Customer service was excellent. The restaurants nearby are excellent, for breakfast, lunch, dinner whatever you prefer. There is a shopping centre nearby which a great variety of food, we chose the tapas.

Just checking out of the hotel after a great weekend in Barcelona with my son to watch Barcelona play Getafe. The hotel is in a good location just 10 minute walk from Collblanc Metro station with direct links to the airport and 10 minutes to Nou Camp for the game. The check in staff were great on Friday afternoon, also the cleaners were polite and always said hello. The cafe / bar is best avoided. The staff try to ignore you, on my first visit the two members of staff spent 5 minutes trying to avoid me, the lady on Friday evening even came from behind the bar, straightened the four chairs next to me then walked away. We ate in the hotel on Saturday night, the prices are reasonable but the quality is lacking. Also the food available was disappointing, many items in the short menu were out of stock. When we got the bill I was told that the bottle of tap water we also had wasn’t on the bill but we had to pay an extra €3 for this. Not sure if this went through the till or in the top jar. Last night I bought a 1/2 litre jug of sangria to take to the room, was charged the €5.65 as per the menu but the drink was given in a glass the same size as a standard sangria I had on Saturday night. I questioned this with the bar staff but they were adamant they were right. In the room after I had finished the glass, I filled the glass up with tap water using the 200ml bottle of sprite we also bought. It was no surprise that the 500ml sangria glass only takes 400ml of the liquid. As we checked out, my son went to reception a minute before me to get some €1 coins for a few games of pool before we left. He asked the receptionist, who gave him 4 x 50c coins in return. He said this wasn’t enough but she dismissed him. When I walked down moments later he was upset so I challenged the receptionist. She said she was right but after my insistence she back down and gave us the other €2 back. She said the hotel did. It have any €1 coins. We asked at the bar, but he didn’t have any either. We could have just been unlucky with the water charge, the sangria being short and with my son being short changed at reception, I will never know. I would not return to this hotel to find out. Please book somewhere else.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in December, although a little way out of the center, the area was fine with many bars, restaurants, bakery/coffee shops. The subway close by, easy to navigate to the airport by train on a direct line and into the city. Sagrada Familia cathedral on same road, 10 minute walk. The staff were very helpful, good command of English and the rooms clean/well serviced but in line with most European city’s, small side. Kettle coffee/milk etc in the room. Superb power shower, in fact the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Had breakfast there once, €11 and was fine, the usual continental type, but coffee shops nearby much cheaper if you are just looking for coffee/croissant. I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again and noticed they had an outside area off the breakfast room, and large seating area on the upper floor that anyone can access.
