For a new hotel in Batangas They need to drastically improve The reception personnel do not understand customer service. They provided no information or the information provided was incorrect. There is no WIFI in the rooms and the WIFI in the lobby did not work all the time. The breakfast is very limited and does not suit all travellers. No local information in the rooms to give direction or restaurants in the area and don’t ask reception they don’t know. I will give high praise to the room cleaners, friendly and helpful. Pity they were not reception. I have to think that management are at fault. They set the standards I stay at many hotels throughout the Philippines and this is one of the worst

Im speechless about this place, by brief, it was life changing experience for me on physical mental and spiritual level, the service is impeccable, everyone at the farm from the driver all the way to the CEO are absolutely professional, extremely kind and with full attention to details, because of everything they have done for me i am now healed and i can go back to living a beautiful life , i am beyond grateful that i found the farm as they work on all aspects of healing , total relaxation and whatever your goal is. On another note the spa oh my god , i have traveled all over the world and nothing is like this spa, everything is beyond perfect and all organic i spent 3 weeks there so i tried app. All there spa treatments and everything was fabulous. Ps: Ask for Ana or evelen to do your treatments at the spa , those 2 ladies deserves 10 stars for there service.

My family and I visited my mother-in-law in Batangas. We decided to stay in a hotel for a night since we have 2 kids and a 3-month old baby who needed more comfortable place to sleep. We found Microtel accessible to some establishments and even in Sto Tomas Proper. Everything was great. We arrive there at around 8 in the evening. Check in and out were both smooth and well accommodated. Staffs were friendly. Our room was clean and ACU functioned well. Inside the room were 2 queen-sized beds, TV, cabinet, etc. Toiletries were also complete---towel,soap,shampoo,toothbrush,and hair dryer. We didn't mind the slippers because we brought our own. My kids enjoyed the bath tub with hot and cold water. I also would like to commend this hotel for having a water dispenser for each wing of the building. Kudos to the owners and staffs of Microtel Sto Tomas, Batangas!

We loved the place. I chose it because of its nice reviews here in tripadvisor. It is indeed Bali-inspired resort garden altho already showing its age, Statue’s paints tarnished and some of the places/pavilions/theater room were already old rotten wood smell. Nice to see and feel the warmth of most of the staff except the lady during breakfast who insisted that we should avail the buffet breakfast for our kids which we opted at first (cheaper than ala carte) but due to limited choices and all of the viands have soy (foods to be avoided by my two sons), we canceled. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the place/amenities despite few flaws e.g. poorly maintained mini zoo, pavilions (my kids felt eerie feeling inside), and theater/game room (by the way, you need to bring your own game, lol; movies downloaded 2018/2019) because of the smile and courteousness of most of the staff. They will try to please you in every corner/place you will visit from gardener (they gave my mom seeds and plants), waiter/tress (initiate to take pictures in the resto, will give all we asked with smile), baggage assist (even alone, he took all our belongings), and anyone you bump-into will greet you. Mostly, we enjoyed taking pictures. The four (4) pools (Main, 2 kiddie and 1 adult) were all well-maintained. Main pool (5-6 feet) was freezing cold, so my kids and my husband stayed in the kiddie pool. We did not try their mini-golf course. Altho the leaves “unli”falling, staff tried to keep the place clean. A lot of big spiders along the trails going to-fro our villas but we enjoyed watching them. It has a total of 18 Villas, terrace villas has two-comfortable queen beds, with receiving area outside, sliding glass door (no screen, so expect mosquitoes going inside the room), all furnitures and wall decors were also bali-inspired. They are not so strict on the number of occupants (we observed some of the villas occupying more than the maximum required guests). It has a mini-ref with affordable refreshments. By the way, erratic signal inside the room and no television. You can have better wi-fi connectivity inside the Abadi Resto (the only resto inside and along Leviste, Balete area). The Abadi resto offer ala carte menu for breakfast, Indonesia’s Nasi Goreng and Beef rendang as well as Filipino cuisine e.g. Bulalo and sinigang. Quite expensive but worth every penny. You have to try Nasi goreng and rendang. They have breakfast buffet depending on the occupancy (usually weekend), my mom enjoyed their fried tawilis; and weekend lunch buffet at 555php. Overall, while we astonishingly appreciated all the bali-inspired works of art during our entire stay, however, I suggest if you’re a night owl, this is not the place for you coz definitely there’s no nightlife here and there’s a little bit of eerie feeling inside and outside the villas and everywhere inside the resort. Definitely, despite a fee of 1,700php for a day-tour, we will come back but we will stay overnight elsewhere. Kuddo

We recently spent 5 nights and 6 days with Blue Ribbon during Covid and during one of the most impactful typhoons to hit Luzon, and this area specifically, in quite some time. The weather impacted our dive plans and everything else for 24 hours and the Blue Ribbon staff were up to the task before, during, and after. These are trying times and Blue Ribbon is a great example of adapting to the ever-changing regulations and requirements with the commitment of bringing diving and dive training to customers amidst the challenges. Getting over and through some of the hurdles placed by the local government was a bit of challenge and Blue Ribbon guided us through that well so that we could safely join their bubble and finally get some dives in this year. The staff are all incredibly helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and they work with the customers in a way that is refreshing and can-do (within reason). We are very experienced independent-minded divers and it is worthwhile to call out the excellence of the DM and the boat staff. The dives were at our pace, well-led, and the DM adapts fabulously to the skill level he is dealing with. The boat staff are very helpful, recognize preferences in set-up, and manage any issues efficiently. What can we say, giant Hawksbill turtles finding us over and over again, mating octopi, schools of baby barracuda, dogtooth tuna, squid families, more morays and variety of morays than we can count, magical nudi-branchs, blue spotted sting rays, incredible reef dives and the magical creatures of the muck dives in Anilao...joy! All in all, a wonderful experience and we are very grateful to be able to do some incredible diving in 2020 when all of our prior plans fell apart due to Covid. Thank you!
