The hotel,on a narrow street on the way to the main piazza, offers a very nice breakfast in the cozy dining room and is close to several restaurants. Our room on the second floor was a few steps away from a small outdoor balcony. The room was cozy and quiet with a comfortable bed. The only drawback was that the fee for parking, in a multi level parking lot which was supposedly supplemented by the hotel, was good only if you parked in a designated area. Because we checked in later on the day, the woman on duty didn't speak English and we missed that point. As a result we paid the full price for the parking.

Locale situato in pieno centro storico esattamente sotto il duomo, ben arredato e ben curato. Ottima accoglienza con consigli veramente utili su ristorazione e centri di interesse della zona.
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in between Rome and Florence, so that we could visit Orvieto, in addition to Sacro Bosco and Civita di Bagnoregio on the way. The room was fairly standard but nice for the price: clean, a large, comfortable bed, and a modern, artsy decor. Our corner room had two windows, which was nice. It was very quiet at night. The location is excellent. It's very close to the Duomo and to other points of interest in Orvieto. Mind you, the Centro Historico of Orvieto is not very big, so this is pretty much a given. The nightly rate for our double room included breakfast, and the breakfast was good. The wifi worked well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in/check out were easy. One thing I didn't like was the charge for coffee and tea in the room. We didn't have any, but we are accustomed to these beverages being provided with no additional charge.
