|5.69km from city centerI need to have an option that reads “subpar”. I wouldn’t say it was poor by any means. But for a Bonvoy property, the rooms were blasé. Almost like the attempt to modernized was simply a coverup. Pros: The staff, the staff, and the staff. Reid, the bartender at the hotel bar was the highlight of our trip. Fascinating individual and hilarious. We will come back just to talk to him some more. Lobby / hotel bar are nicely done. Little grab and go food nook to get a snack. The beds and sheets are true Sheraton. I’d like to take them all home. Won’t fit in suitcase. Quiet room. Couldn’t hear much outside room. Maybe not much was happening. I, personally, like the loud fan on heat / ac unit. As soon as it goes this, we could hear the people in room next door having a conversation. No curtains but the black out shades worked wonderfully. Cons: See photos Closet in room was taken out and rack and safe just kinda hang there. Weird. Coffee maker in lobby is fancy! But the biggest cup that will fit is a baby styrofoam cup. There was liquid creamer though. Plus. The bathroom. So much potential. Dirty walls. Paper thin towels. Bleh. Elevator smelled terrible. Not hotel’s fault. Overall it was just meh for $170 a night. Expected a better room.

|5.51km from city centerGreat stay. Good location. Clean room. King bed takes up most of the room however it’s fine for a stay. Friendly staff at both check-in and check-out. Breakfast was minimal, but Denny’s is next door if you’re needing a full breakfast.
Will definitely stay here again!

|9.52km from city centerIn town for a Junior roller derby bout. I’m so glad I chose this place. Fridge, microwave, plenty of outlets and USB ports. Everything is clean and pretty new looking. The gentleman who has been working today, Trey, was extremely welcoming. Besides that, I’ve seen him working hard all evening. I sat for a while in the lobby, drinking fresh coffee, reading a book and was very comfortable. I hope to be in town again and will stay here.

|6.28km from city centerBooked this hotel as a last minute emergency hotel switch. We accidental booked a seedy joint across the street (baymont). Seeing the clientele that went in and out we quickly searched and found this hotel. Called them around noon to book and was able to check in immediately. Which was important because we were from out of town and needed to get ready for a wedding. The hotel is updated and appeared very nice. Traveling with my wife and 16 month old kid. We found out that their pool was open which was a plus. There’s a small game room adjacent and a decent sized workout room with a cable machine, dumbbells, cardio equipment etc. it’s free to make a marriot bonvoy account and I think that why we got the early check in. Would book again if we were ever in the area. Do your research, there’s a reason why some hotels are $60/night.

|0.28km from city centerFood served at conference was not good, but food at Burdick’s hit the spot. TV did not work for 2 out of 4 nights. Toilets are so low to ground. Bathrooms are smallest I have ever seen for a hotel. Would have liked a lightweight blanket on bed, but beds are very comfy. We made hotel reservations early, but surprised we did not get bed type we reserved and in talking to others, they did not neither. Staff was all friendly.

|5.94km from city centerThe rooms were good and the service. A little overpriced for the value. The cleaning of the room was okay. I usually stay in Travelodge but we dicided to give Kalamazoo hotels a shot. I feel like it was over priced but at the last minute took it instead of traveling for another 30 or more to the nearest Travelodge. If the price goes down I would stay here again.

|5.63km from city centerOverall decent value. Some minor improvements could be made. Price was reasonable compared to competitors. Recent updating was done in lobby area and our room. Room looked nice with much updating - granite... The shower was still the old style fake marble panels that looked outdated from the 1980's or so. Everything else looked so nice but that kind of cheapened the room. Breakfast was overall pretty good - hot items etc. I saw they had hot water but no tea, or hot cocoa. We had to ask for it. Even after asking for it, it was given to me but none put out for others - seems like they are being kind of cheap. Seems like they have old water pipes or something. Initially a lot of rust came out of the bathtub but then cleared up. There were also particles in the breakfast hot water. Overall, it was a decent value.
