Very friendly staff, clean room, very quiet at night and veeeeeery close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. An ideal location to go hiking at Cape Point . The only 2 negative points: the walls are very thin so you hear the neighbours talking (but once they sleep it's very quiet). And they start serving breakfast too late (only from 9:30 while we are used to have breakfast at 7am, especially when we do day hikes.)

Set high up above Camps Bay amongst some of the most desirable luxury properties in Cape Town. From the moment you enter the property the views are breathtaking. Felix the manager is extremely knowledgeable and helpful as is his assistant George. The modern architecture is enhanced by some amazing works of art. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of delicious options. Would suggest this property is a must for anyone visiting Cape Town. Incidentally Uber taxi are readily available in this location

I decided to book online and pay through this medium as well.Due to a problem I experienced I deicide to contact the property to request a change in the dates via the booking.com app.To date I just received a generic reply , not related to my query.The receptionist on duty was a bit abrupt when I explained the situation.I just said that I already paid via the app, but he insisted that that was not how they do business .I nevertheless decided to proceed and paid again . The stay at the hotel was fine , except for the refrigerator that leaked .

The entire staff always greeted us with a smile and was courteous. as we were vegetarian, we had a special request for the breakfast the head chef ( I'm sorry don't recall her name ) may be Claire.. she was called and met us during our checkin. she noted every details and ensured we were served a different hot dish everyday in morning suiting our requirements. it was amazing. The over all breakfast spread was super i mean a lot of choices for non vegetarian specially and the quality of food used was super. we have never had such a wonderful experience earlier with any property. The property was upto the mark, clean and services prompt. We would rate this as a 5 Star property and nothing less. ample of parking space, a very safe locality, a mall just 2 blocks away made things easier. Wifi was excellent the room size is big enough. Highly recommended Indians and all tourists to book with them when in Capetown, they will exceed your expectations and make you feel delighted always. thanking the entire team once again and if we ever drop in Capetown, this will be the place we would lookforward to book again.

The breakfast is rich and delicious too. You can reach the Muizenberg Beach within 10 Minutes by walking. The shared bathroom got cleaned evreryday and the bed was comfortable. It was very windy at that time and I felt it a little in the room too and that was quite noisy, probably for isolation reasons.. All in all I can really recommend the place.

At the stay easy it’s been one disappointment after another since first contact. I was checked into a single room despite booking a double. The bed was so small I literally fell off with a single turn. Trust me the beds are that small. If you are over 5ft7 this is not a place for you. After putting in a complaint the next day I was moved to the double, here the sink was clogged and despite my requests was never fixed. No international Tv news channels were on offer. When prompted the reception said they would sort it out and never did. I received a similar response when I asked for a shower cap. At the Stay Easy you’ll be lucky if your call to the switch board is picked up. I never experienced that. The receptionist when we arrived was brutally honest, yes we know you booked a double but we are putting you into a single call your booking office, this happens all the time. The gym is not worth using, the pool is a pond. All true I must say. One thing one must note is that the pool and gum are not at the StayEasy but the building next door so you’ll need to leg it out of your hotel to the one next door. Finally please don’t use the vending machine I’ve lost money to it. It first work and the hotel does not have a sign to reflect that, though the door man seemed very apologetic when you don’t receive what you’ve paid for…..

Had two trips out with Herman. He is an excellent guide - took us on a peninsula tour taking in beaches that are not accessible by commercial tour operators. Having seen the freshly caught fish at Simons Town harbour and getting a hankering for fresh fish our wish was Kevin's command and he cooked us some lovely Kingklip. Had a tour to the winelands with Herman who handpicked the best of the wine farms (again far superior to the commercial operators) our stay was finished off with a shuttle back to the airport. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

It felt like we were overseas! The hotel is a feast for the eyes! Every room is different and has so much character and attention to detail. The little pineapple theme flows through very cleverly. The bathrooms are wonderful and the breakfast was delicious! The staff is very warm and friendly and professional. The hotel is close to lovely little restaurants in Regent Street and close to the promenade for a walk or run. I highly recommend this hotel and it epitomises what a Boutique hotel should be.

On site restaurant Liberty's seems slow and disorganized, even for South Africa and especially for a Hilton's. Free shuttle to V&A Waterfront every two hours. Walking distance to the Old Biscuit Mill (a Saturday morning must-do). Regular and reliable taxi service around Cape Town at reasonable rates, for drop off and pickup. Airport shuttle. Excellent communication with Kerry prior to our arrival. Letitia was great and organised everything for our late night arrival including fresh milk in the fridge so we could have a tea or coffee on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great and included pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and a few a la carte options. Highly recommended.

Got a good room on the highest floor and the hotel was smelling of Indian spices (what a great way to start off). It was the slow season so two of the three elevators were operating. Did not wait that long. The rooms were small. Would recommend only staying about three nights. Great for people traveling business. Breakfast was good and had good seats. Wasn't crowded and did not need to come at a specific time. Laptop vault worked. The adapters did not. Luckily I got some Euro plugs which actually worked in the bathroom area (no where else). There is a USB port by the bed but those are not that quick. Wifi was good in the room but not that good in the lobby. I slept comfortably and it was quiet. Easy to get Uber. Would stay again (if I am on a short business trip). Tip: Do not exchange money at the lobby UNLESS it is an emergency. Also, know where you go and do not look lost.

Let me tell you that was one of the most eyeopening expreiences I've had. I stayed for 2 months and learned so much. All the interesting people you meet in Saltycrax are from all over the world. Every one of them with their own opinion, culture, mindset, age. And that is what makes it so interesting and educational. After, sometimes, long days in the schools we came back to Salty and we would feel home again. We had movienight almost every night and spend almost all our time together. We rented a car and did a roadtrip all the way to Cape Point and we had the time of our lives. We went to table mountain and lionshead with ubers and climbed it a few times, once in the dark (not that i would recommend that to anyone). To this day I still talk to my friends from Germany, Spain, Israel.. I have friends from all over the world by just coming to one place: Saltycrax.

|9.97km from city centerWe had wonderful days at South Breeze, a small cozy guest house. The warm hosts Thelma and Ronny did everything to make us feel comfortable. The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished and have large bathrooms and air conditioning. The good breakfast included in the room price is not a standard buffet as is so often the case, but is served in the morning in the breakfast room using a small breakfast menu. Just great. The guest house has a small courtyard with a pool and a barbecue, which the host is happy to help with. I can recommend the guest house without reservation. The journey time to the city center is about 20 minutes, to the airport it is 25 minutes. The walk to the beach is about 200m. There is free parking in the courtyard.

Disadvantages: Although it is close to the waterfront, the front and back buildings perfectly block all the landscape, and the waterfront and the Table Mountain cannot be seen. The worst part is that the hot water in the room is not automatic. My partner and I turned around for a long time and found a button. The water wasted for a long time. One person finished washing the other without hot water ... The worse thing is, A 1,000zar deposit was charged. My partner and I forgot to take the deposit when checking out, and they did not remind me. Then we took the deposit bar to retrieve the deposit, saying that the envelope in which our deposit was placed was missing, and we asked him to adjust the monitoring. One of them said that they could not take money from other places, but that the person in charge of the monitoring room was not there. We have to wait for the buddy who checked out the next day to come to work to pay the deposit. We also left our contact information and said that it resolved it and called us, but we did n’t call until the next day. Fortunately, we did n’t rush to rush the plane that day. The next day we went to get the money and the little brother took it out. 1000zar returned to us. I think as a hotel, the deposit bar is the proof that you owe the customer money. No matter where you keep the deposit, it should be returned unconditionally at the first time. If you do n’t lose your envelope, do n’t dare us. Those who check in must remember to take the deposit bar, we are fortunate to save it this time, otherwise they will be hacked. As a large hotel, the quality of employees is very problematic.

We ended our holiday in South Africa here and thought our room was as nice or better than any of the bigger hotels we stayed at (it was a suite). It was honestly luxurious with a big sofa area, efficient air conditioning and a huge comfy bed plus wonderful direct view of the ocean with a big outside terrace and 2 sun beds. The poolside area was also really sweet and pretty with regular visits by staff if we wanted any drinks or snacks out there. We loved our stay and thank you to Shirley for helping us secure a harbour view dinner reservation at one of the top restaurants in Cape town at very short notice. This hotel has a really personal touch and great attention to detail, we loved it.
