Beautiful hotel! I loved our room with casement windows that opened inward. Spacious, and well appointed. Desk, small table and chairs, fridge, robes and slippers. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows and big plush towels. The lobby smelled divine, and when I asked, was told it was the same scent as that of the toiletries in the room. This is the only hotel we have been to in the last 3 years that had full maid service every day, and we don’t stay at inexpensive hotels. Walk to the old port was right across the street. Valet parking is 38$c a day, but worth it to avoid the hassle. We had a riverfront view, and while it wasn’t perfect, one of the quays is a parking garage which spoiled the view a bit, it was still lovely, especially in the evening when you could look out at the La Grande Roue and watch it change color. This place was the best part of our Montreal stay.

The room is very good and the service is good. Park your car and go in at the passage of the small street and wait for the rolling shutter door to open. There is a heated swimming pool on the 14th floor of the hotel. The scenery is very good. You can see the scenery of the old port. It only takes a few minutes to go to the pedestrian street.

I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

One shower and one toilet were shared. The inside of the capsule is clean. It was late at night, so I didn't meet many people, so I didn't have time to take a shower, but if I did, I would have to wait a long time. Also, there was no one at the entrance, so I called the staff to check in, but I didn't know how to check out, so I left the key. It's a walk from the bus stop, so if you have a lot of luggage, it might be difficult on slopes and stairs.

This stylish hotel was pet friendly, clean and comfortable. The friendly and helpful staff spoke English with us, as we did not speak French. There were several, affordable, take out restaurants near by, on the university campus which was great because eating in was not an option due to the pandemic. We enjoyed this property very much, even though we only stayed for one night. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel service is very good, free shuttle bus, the front desk is very nice at the check-in, very patient. Due to the flight, the front desk registered the departure time at check-in, and the car was parked at the hotel door on time. This shuttle bus is opened according to customer needs. The rooms are large and the facilities are complete, that is, the house looks old.

The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel is a perfect hotel in Montreal. Excellent montain view and quiet environment. I think I will back to stay this hotel next vacation. Love this hotel, so write a review. The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!

We flew into Montreal and stayed one night at the Fairfield. We were picked up at the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus and within minutes we were at the hotel. Check in was very quick and the staff members were very efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and had the comforts of home. After putting our luggage in the room we went to the bar for a drink and were taken back by the price of a bottle of beer $10.00 The morning continental breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s very close to the Dorval Via Train Station.

The hotel is located in the city center, there are many roads nearby, and parking is not convenient. This hotel in Old Montreal has a wonderful location, so close to great restaurants like the new Moishe’s Steak House, and Holder. It is small, clean and comfortable with lots of large windows. The reception and breakfast area is large and light. The Loft rooms are very comfortable and spacious with Molton Brown amenities and a Nespresso machine. The large windows open and have pretty flower boxes. The layout of an ‘open concept’ bathroom and closets might not appeal to all, but we liked the quirkiness. The decor could stand some updating. For example, the two occasional chairs in our room were quite worn and the hallway carpet stained. Our housekeeper was excellent. Reception staff were generally accommodating. The food at breakfast was excellent but the service could stand improvement. One morning it took 30 minutes to get a cappuccino. In fairness, another morning’s room service breakfast arrived promptly. But another morning we seemed to be forgotten. This may be a post-Covid staffing problem however. At check out, a detailed statement of daily charges and credit certificates was lacking. When we arrived, we asked for additional pillows but none were available initially. We got one the second night after the other woman who had it checked out! We would probably stay here again if these small but irritating issues were fixed.

The overall feeling of the room is relatively small, if the baggage is more nervous. The environment is OK, across the road is a supermarket, shopping is very convenient. The location of the hotel is not too good, far from the city, it is more difficult to eat at night. There are very few early choices, there is almost nothing to eat, and it is the same every day. The service is ok, the front desk has a domestic past, she is very enthusiastic, and also helped to understand a lot of questions, this is the only reason I think the hotel is OK.

Maité & Simon were perfect hosts! They were always available for any and all of my questions and took care of our little family so well. From everything to an early check-in/late check-out so our babies could nap, to providing us with a highchair and playpen, it was so perfect! We had come specifically to Montreal to take our daughter to the Biodome and this location was just minutes walk away. Once in the room, they had a binder full of helpful recommendations and tips (the Oeuferie for breakfast was fabulous). We were even able to secure free on street parking but do watch out as Montreal street signage is tricky!

Disappointing. The hotel amenities state that there is a 24 hour free airport shuttle bus, it does not run 24 hours. We had to pay for a taxi back to the airport. There was a cold water dispenser with lemons in the lobby but it was empty. A coffee machine was provided in the room, however, of the 3 coffee pods one was used and only thin plastic cold beverage cups were provided. The room was big, shows signs of wear but the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel is a typical airport hotel, not much going on.

Location is great if you want to be close to China town or old Montreal. It is about a 30 minute walk to downtown. Although parking is pricey it was worth it since the under ground garage was clean, bright convenient and safe!! Just make sure your ticket to go in and out works properly, it can get stressful since the garage is a bit on the tight side to have to back up with cars behind you when the ticket won’t let you out. I stayed in room 1409 and was large and clean, but there was a vacuum sound that would go on and off throughout the day, however we were out exploring for most of the days. Great stay and would return again!!

Found hotel through searches on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. Took a chance booking our 4 night Montreal getaway from NYC on a newly opened hotel. The reviews were great, as was the hotel location. And I vibed with the hotel decor from the photos I saw during my research. So we went for it. And we were happy with our stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel’s friendly and courteous front desk staff. They were so helpful throughout our stay. Our king bed suite with city view was fantastic. Really cool room layout and decor. Bed was super comfortable. Nice touch with the bench at the foot of the bed. And the floor length curtains by the windows and separating the bedroom from bathroom were room darkening and so easy to open and close. We most loved how the tv swiveled around from living room to bedroom allowing us to watch tv in different room settings. Very cool concept. Shower was fun and funky enclosed in a pink ombré cube and visible within the room We enjoyed use of the gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna on 15th floor. The views were spectacular. Areas to improve….but to me, not worth a deduction: - Poor lighting in living room and bedroom. No option to independently turn on/off bedside lamps or lighting in the foyer. It was all or nothing. And although there was a full length mirror in the foyer, the lighting wasn’t great. - Bathroom mirror was fantastic but the lighting was horrible. - Sofa hard. Could have been less “IKEA” and more plush and cozy. A blanket would have been nice touch too for snuggling. - When the door of the room safe located on the top shelf inside the closet was open, it kept banging into and scraping the inside closet door.

I told the front desk that it was sent. I don’t know if it was this reason. After leaving, I was deducted 86 Canadian dollars. I didn’t refund for a long time. honestly, this was a last minute panic hotel but it ended up working out to be a really good experience. My partner and I were supposed to fly to montreal from alberta for a doctors consultation and the day before we were supposed to leave, our other, pre paid hotel cancelled because they weren't open due to covid. They definitely had 10+ days to inform us before but oh well it ended up working out. We found this hotel for about 50 bucks a night with a $60 deposit. so we showed up, and immediately the owner(?) Showed us our room, but also allowed us to go check out another room on the third floor that also had a shower and more room for an extra 10 dollars. Honestly I jumped on that deal because even though I was almost broke, 10 dollars for our own private shower was a life saver. This hotel does have communal bathrooms and showers on each floor and as much as I dont care about that stuff, its sill nice to have access to that whenever. It also just so happened the day we land it was during a 40 degrees heat wave with no ac. So I lived in a cold shower for the majority of our time at the hotel. The owner also offered us use of the fridge and gave us some free water because it was hot as heck, even offering us an extra fan on top if the ceiling fan. There weren't any soaps or towels just a heads up, but we brought our own toiletries and went to the dollar store down the road to grab a beach towel even though i took advantage of being damp in the intense heat more often than not. This is a very old place, and its not necessarily the cleanest you've ever seen, but its neat, its homey, and its a really unique experience worth every dollar. Not to mention free wifi and a solid 3 channels on the TV haha. A bonus on top of the actual hotel is it is really close to the village which is a lovely inclusive lgbtq+ space with entertainment and shops and restaurants all around. Its also within walking distance to China town and the metro systems, plus some really lovely outdoor parks and buildings. Its also in a fairly busy area so if you don't like noise in a busy city it might be difficult but its something I don't mind and I think I actually like. I don't speak much french so it was entertaining sometimes to hear people drunkenly speak loudly in French and laughing all night. There are of course your fair share of people who struggle with homelessness and a couple of lovely sex workers but its part of the downtown monteal experience. And in comparison, the people addicted to substances and the sex workers from where im from are a solid 3/10 compared to montreals 8/10 with kindness and respect for other people lol So in ”short”, its a great experience. Its an old building that sadly has some cool sh*t painted over but it is what it is. Its also close to a bunch of cool locations and easy to access with public transportation. It also does smell like your local grandmas house including the 50 years of lingering cigarette smoke. It may be a smoke free bu

First, Hilton-branded hotels are my chain of choice and I am also a Diamond Member and have been for years. We chose the Hampton Inn Downtown Montreal due to its location; close to Old Montreal, Chinatown, the shopping district, and restaurants. At check-in the customary ”thank you for being an Honors Member” was not mentioned though not a big deal! As a Diamond Member I asked about the comp upgrade if available. I was told by the agent at the front desk that there were no upgrades available and that I was in a room with a ”couch”! Not sure what the 1 ½ person couch would do but whatever. We arrived at our room, our small room. We were on a 7-day trip to cold climates with outdoor events therefore we had a lot of baggage - nowhere to put it all in the room. From the room, I dialed ”0” and asked if we could please be assigned another room. The person on the phone said ”yes, of course, we will put you in a suite!”. (See above, front desk agent, no suites available.) We arrived to a large suite with great amenities - full kitchen and appliances, corner room, lots of room, etc. The downside, the floors were a mess - I mentioned it but never heard back. We used a damp towel and cleaned the entire room ourselves. Oh, the towel, it wasn't healthy looking after that. The runner carpets at the bed were no better. I door parking was great BUT it's where all the ********* smokers gather though there's no indoor smoking in any of the building. BTW - note that ********* is TOTALLY legal in Canada so that was not the issue - smoking inside was the issue. So, great location, nice property, attention to detail and Hilton Honors members is very lacking and a front desk agent who got caught in a little lie!

We stayed a couple of nights pre-cruise to acclimatise and enjoy Montreal in the early Summer. We had a pleasant stay, very personable staff and a decent room. Breakfast was interesting, again possibly post-covid staffing issues as things took a while but the staff were again very engaging. Great location on Rue de la Montagne with easy access to public transit and taxis to the port. Definitely would stay here again.

The environment is OK, in the city center, 18 kilometers from the airport and more than 1 kilometers from the railway station When I got there, I just caught up with the elevator and broke down The service is very good. When it rains, there will be a waiter with an umbrella standing at the door to take you into the car The breakfast variety is a bit small, but the bread is very fresh and delicious. The girl who served smiled very sweetly. After I ordered hot milk on the first day, when I got there the next day, the girl asked immediately and needed hot milk. Well, the sense of distance is gone all at once, it feels good The door of the room is a bit thin and not soundproof. Fortunately, foreigners can pass by in the corridor quietly during sleeping hours. There is only one lock in the room, which is a bit insecure for the Chinese; mineral water is not provided in the room. But there is a hot pot, as long as there is it, we Chinese will not be afraid

The hotel was very central to all the place we wanted to be. It seemed like a 20 min walk to everywhere. Chinatown, Old Montreal, Waterfront, St Catherine street to city centre and the other way to The Gay Village. There are a lot of people that hang around in the streets around the hotel but it seems to be a big issue in Montreal in general. We never felt unsafe but we are from Toronto. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Panoramic rooms so we had a corner and a lounge. The rooms with just the beds are very small, it was nice having the extra space. They did not clean the rooms due to Covid which was fine but there is no where to dry a towel so we had to be creative. The bed was comfortable thought because it was not fully made up each day it got to be a bit of a mess and was harder to fix. The AC in the bedroom blows right on your head! The Lobby smelled wonderful and was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all great place and we would stay again.
