|19.86km from city centerMy wife and I visited this beautiful hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary. From the moment we stepped through the door into the beautiful air conditioned reception we were very well looked after. The check in was quick and we were allowed to sit with a complimentary welcome drink while the hotel sorted all the paperwork and got our room sorted. We were shown into a grand yet charming sea facing room on the first floor. Room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed (including a mini bar, coffee machine, hair dryer and so on). Bathroom was very impressive with a double shower and complimentary toiletries. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was spectacular and the service was excellent. Some of the dishes are a bit on the small side if you are Northern European, but we couldn’t knock the tastes! The wine and cocktail lists are impressive. After a great nights sleep (no outside noise like some reviews have mentioned) we went down to eat breakfast on the beach. Again excellent food (would recommend the bread basket). We had a lovely stay in the hotel and would recommend.

|20.31km from city centerHaven't done many reviews recently because I got fed up of people complaining bitterly about the budget hotels I use but some of the reviews for Kos Bay bear no relation at all to what I and a friend experienced last month on a 2 week holiday. Some people don't seem to know that you can read reviews on Tripadvisor and then make up your own mind whether to go. I read every review and then decided to go . The price for 2 weeks in July was a bargain for us at just over £400 each. So room fine ,basic but not spending much time as so much to do in Kos. A few problems such as the shower curtain but no problem as I had read the reviews. All staff pleasant and friendly especially the ladies at breakfast. The breakfast was included and it's hard to believe that there was not something for everyone. The breakfast is set in a dining area as you come into the hotel and you can eat outside on the veranda if you like though it was too hot for us. Just to run through some things, different breads and rolls cold meat and cheese honey yoghurt different cakes hot pastries. Canned peaches stuff that looked like Nuttela olives hard boiled eggs tea coffee apple and orange squash different cereal liked the corn flakes. Could go on but you get the picture. We must have been very lucky because we had plenty of sheets and towels. WiFi was excellent. No noise because we were not facing the busy roundabout. TV worked great all in Greek of course. Anyway it's amazing how lucky I have been with budget hotels maybe I don't expect the Ritz for motel prices.

|6.51km from city centerWe stayed here one night at the end of a holiday in Kalymnos; to help with ferry and flight timings. Arrival was at check in time and the lobby was fairly empty. Our room had been prepaid and was a deluxe sea view. Sadly Neptune fell flat - I guess we’d been spoiled at the Kantouni Beach but this was neither sea view nor deluxe (check out their rooms if you want both these things and more). To be fair, you can just see the sea if you don’t mind the 10 foot pampus and other trees in the way. It was otherwise ok. The air con was set at 20, not far off what we heat our homes to in the UK. We wandered back up to reception and asked if we could have the room temperature lowered. The response was fairly brusque with the male receptionist telling us that was it 20 and would only ever be 20 and he kept repeating this. I asked for a fan. Not a huge ask in a ‘luxury 5 star hotel’ but it seemed to annoy. We left, unsure of what we would get. After a little exploring and sampling our (very welcome) ‘welcome drink’ we returned to our room to a note with a sesame biscuit. There was no fan and I was about to ring reception when my husband discovered the air con had been chilled down to 16c. A good result but why tell us it was set at 20 and could go no lower if that were not the case? You can request a lower temperature at reception, but it is on an individual basis. Dinner was in the Asian influenced restaurant and whilst it was all undercover, it was open to the elements so very warm and stuffy but he food was good, tasty and well presented but nothing out of the ordinary. With check out set for noon, we had some time by the adults only pool which was really nice. Returning to our room to shower and leave for the airport I realised the hairdryer was not working. It was fine for 10 seconds then seemed to stop. I called reception and advised them we were checking out at noon. They promised to send the electrician. He never materialised and I continued to dry my hair with 10 seconds on, 1 minute off hairdryer antics. I got there but it was painful. A couple of points to note, the shower - a sort of wet room - would not drain of water and the drains had that really awful smell. You do get used to it but it’s rather grim. The floor of the whole room was sticky and with damp towels on the floor after our shower it was clear it wasn’t clean when they went very black and grubby. Housekeeping take note. Wash the floor, don’t just swish the dirty water from one end to another. Upon checkout (same member of staff who was intent on a 20c air con standard) we were told the electrician had called but our ‘do not disturb’ sign was on our door. Not so, but I really couldn’t be bothered as I was never going to convince the staff member. Why didn’t he knock? Because he didn’t come. Overall, this is an ok resort, I wouldn’t want to stay here very long (or again). It was mostly German guests and did feel like a glorified Butlins. It cer

We got 4 bed room with our trip.com reservation for a family four, but they wanted to charge extra 30 euros, claiming that our 16 year old dauther cannot be considered as child, even though I showed them a confirmed reservation form trip.com for a 3 adult and 1 child (in trip.com page under 18 year old kids are considered as child). They said they would give a discount of 3 Euros out of 30 Euros, showing a sympathy! We accepted to pay 27 Euros not to waste our short vacation time. But, then, they charged 3 more Euros at the check out time, saying that is for the tax and they forgot about it! The two beds for our son and dauther were sofas, not comfortable. The airconditioners were not cooling enough. The room quality is not for a 4-star hotel, barely 3-star hotel.

|19.78km from city centerEven though it wasn’t an hassle free stay at Aegean Houses, the issues we encountered were sorted promptly and to our satisfaction. On arrival (01.30) we were met and checked in, we were shown a room that was downstairs below ground level and gave off a dungeon vibe and the big issue was the aircon wasn’t working. This made for a very poor night as the temperatures had been in the high 30’s. The following morning we asked for a room change and when the aircon would be working. The aircon was promised for 9.30am that morning, that happened and the room change took part the following day to a top floor room with a good view over mountains. Breakfast was ok, for €13 you get a buffet breakfast which isn’t full English but lots of fresh produce and good coffee. The room is a good size, a walk in living room with a sofa bed and a useful kitchenette. The bedroom as a large wardrobe with a safe, both back onto a balcony. The bathroom as a great shower and basin area. What made the stay is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, from the guy who checked us in, the receptionist, super friendly cleaners who did a great job. The bar staff and dining staff are amazing, always friendly and have time for you. I can’t recommend The Aegean Houses enough, with the money it cost for the whole package I can say this is the best value accommodation I’ve ever stayed in.

Originally I had paid to stay in the cleopatra superior and requested that I had a pool view room, the hotel advised this wasn’t possible but could accommodate at the kris Marie so we said ok. On check in it was very regimental, €15 for tax which was fine for 10 days if you wanted the air con and safety deposit box that was an extra €110 euro. We decided not to have air con and to be honest it was fine with the door open. Room was basic with 2 single beds which were rock hard like laying on a slab of wood, one pillow given which was flat also. We had a room that had a new shower which was powerful but the drains were awful. You could smell the drainage and it was dreadful. One power socket in the room for your use so if you go take an extension lead or you’ll be stuck. The pool area well what can we say about that, I was there for ten days and never ONCE did I see it get cleaned after a days use. The guy on the pool bar didn’t acknowledge you if you weren’t pretty or wearing a bikini. Reception staff are lovely as are the cleaners. On the last day if you wanted to keep your room on it was €120 which is ridiculous . Did I enjoy my holiday in Kardamena? YES would I stay here again? NO

|11.85km from city centerWell what can we say, it certainly deserves its 5*. From booking to arrival was spot on (thank you Senka for your helpful emails). We stayed first in Kardamena and asked the hotel to collect us (for a fee), Yiannis the driver was really friendly and helpful. There were cold flannels and a soft drink with desert to welcome us. Receptionist Marioulla was friendly & professional. We were blown away by the room - big comfy bed with towels shaped in to a love heart decorated with fresh flowers, wine & fresh fruit with a ‘happy anniversary’ note. Bathroom huge, separate door to a toilet within. There is a mini bar (advise you check on arrival as we found a bottle half full so we reported that to avoid being charged) we removed some of the drinks to be able to store our own. Balcony was excellent, large hot tub, sofa, 2 chairs and table, not overlooked, there was a pool suite below us so that was overlooked by us. You can request the golf cart to pick you up at anytime to deliver you to the pool or restaurant (very steep hills). We got a ride to the tennis court at the bottom of the complex where there is a dirt track to the main resort/beach 5-7min walk, you’ll feel like you’re trespassing on some houses and Panormitis studios but if the families are sat out they wave hello. The main pool is long and sunbathing area a good size, George on pool bar was very efficient, as soon as someone exits he tidies the beds, it tended to get very windy in the early afternoon. Breakfast & dinner is served inside, if not windy they slide open the windows otherwise it’s A/C and I found that chilly. Good breakfast options, staff are attentive, quick to respond & friendly. Meal choices were good and not as pricey as we expected for this hotel. We had a couples massage which was excellent value for money. Overall we would love to return and have made a note of the rooms we’d like (the one we had being #1 choice). All staff deserve a pay rise they all work long hours and always with a smile. This is a hotel to fully relax at without rushing all over sight seeing. We spent 10 days in Kardamena to do various trips and came to White Rock for 4 nights to fully rest. If you’re not able to manage the steep dusty walk down the track to the resort then we recommend you hire a car to visit other places. We recommend Sykaminia bar at the bottom of the hill and Jim Supermarket.

|19.36km from city centerAbsolutely fabulous!! We stayed in room 404 which had a wonderful view of the harbour and we loved sitting on our balcony enjoying the view. The hotel was in a wonderful location - very accessible for all the sights ,and also close to the old town and shops, restaurants and all amenities. The staff at the hotel were absolutely great - they were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and swam in their pool which was small and quiet. The room was immaculately clean and well serviced and we met the cleaners who were so smiley and happy. There was also free air conditioning and a free safe deposit box. Finally, a huge thanks to the lovely lady who was always at breakfast, who went way above and beyond what was expected, and even helped us learn some Greek despite being very busy. We have already recommended this hotel to our family and friends and will continue to do so. We will also return as soon as possible.

We were only there for a few hours between catching our 9am ferry from Turgetries and our 4am flight from Kos Airport. Although check in is officially at 3pm our room was ready early and they let us check in shortly after noon. They also booked an early morning taxi for us. We were 3 adults - myself, my son & daughter-in-law - and my 6 year old grandson. We had booked 1 room which turned out to be a well appointed apartment. There was a double bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom, a kitchenette with fridge, 2 ring cooker, coffee maker, kettle, glassware, cutlery and some cookware , a lounge area with a TV, couch bed and a child's folding bed set up for my grandson. The rooms were air conditioned and both rooms had a balcony. A hair dryer and clothes airer were also supplied. There was a lovely swimming pool at the front of the hotel, where they were holding a pool party with a DJ and live sax player during our stay. The hotel was within easy walk of the port, Dolphin Square and the old town. My whole family enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would happily stay again.

|11.97km from city centerThis maybe a 2 star rating but there’s nothing more you could need in a hotel. Beautifully clean, family run and everything to hand or sorted for you. The effort the family put in shows with the number of repeat customers. Breakfast is basic toast, tomatoes, olives, boiled eggs, cheese and ham and juices tea and coffee. but there’s options and good prices to buy a cooked breakfast and suited us fine. The bar in the evening is run by Manos, Nikalos brothers and Kostas their brother in law. Who are a dream team and Nikalos being the entertainment. They have English sport on if want. Being a traditional Greek family celebrations included guests sharing in birthday cake and for Kostas name day sandwiches, cake and chocolates. The position is ideal a short walk to Supermarket Jim’s, beach, tavernas and bars. Kefalos is quiet, taxis are non existent, buses infrequent however with trips (use local ones not the holiday companies) and the local offer plenty of choice. Can’t fault Zeus at all.

|22.1km from city centerFriendly and welcoming hotel. Perfect for us. We arrived at 10-30 pm to be greeted with a drink. We were shown a room which we didn’t like so we were moved immediately without fuss. Second room was excellent with pool side views etc. We arrived out of season and site was at 50% capacity so this helped. During our stay the staff were excellent. Special thanks to Fortini Olivia and Raphael who were exceptional in service and friendliness. Food was plentiful and plenty of choice. Some people were complaining but personally I thought it was good. Was this a 5 star hotel? In all honesty 4 star. There were a number of small issues. Hotel was very clean and smart but. Pool area could do with some new sun loungers and parasols. Couple cracked tiles in en-suite. Curtains and furniture a little tired. Pool was really too deep at 1.55 metres shallow area. Not great for kids or my wife! Saying that this is a “family” hotel and I would definitely go back. Kos town is close and bus stop outside hotel 2 euro into town runs regularly. A must visit. We had just a great week in glorious weather 26* perfect.

|22.3km from city centerWe really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were hospitable and friendly. The room was immaculate, boasting a comfortable bed and 2 seater arm chair. The view from our balcony was serene and the golf cart to help us get around was really appreciated. We were in room 1302 which was not too far from the main restaurant and main bar. There’s live performances at the main bar on Mon and Tues nights. Thursday is disco night and Friday's for Greek Dancing. You can hear the music/entertainment from the bar but it quickly quietens down before 1 am when they close. Accessibility wise, I only saw stairs in this area, we had stairs leading down to our room and up to the main building. The food was great! We were half board guests which meant breakfast and dinner was included, but we were given the option to swap dinner to lunch if we wished to, we just had to get a voucher from reception to do so. Every day the meals were more than satisfactory. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style, eat as much as you can, but if you like something be quick because once it’s gone, the replacement might be something different. There’s a kids club and a little playground they can use. There’s also a mini supermarket on site, buy your bus ticket to town here, as it’s cheaper than buying outside the hotel. We explored the Spa, Salon and Gym but did not use the services. The spa and salon have an additional charge but the gym is free to access, you just need to approach reception beforehand. There’s daily Yoga and Pilates classes, which are also free, you can just turn up, I really enjoyed the Pilates class. There’s 3 pools on site. One of the world’s longest infinity pool is in this hotel, there’s a beach bar near it, arrive early to claim a bed. Not too far from the inifinty pool is a restaurant where you can grab lunch/snacks (additional costs) and there’s an Asian restaurant (eating here depends on the length of your stay). At the bottom of the hotel there’s a shingle beach, where you can enjoy the sound of the waves and there’s a bar here also. The manager is a lovely man, very thoughtful and always willing to help guests. He approached us a few times during our stay to make sure all was okay/to help and he was really helpful in the restaurant during busy periods. Michaelangelo is located at the end of the island, it takes 10 mins to get to Kos Town Centre, which is easily accessible thanks to the bus that stops right outside the hotel and approx 45mins to get to Kos airport. Cannot wait to visit again, thanks for a great stay

|19.45km from city centerOn arrival to the hotel, we was greeted with a :-) receptionist. The hotel appeared very spacious and clean. The rooms were a standard size 2 single beds, a desk balcony, fridge and a kettle with an ensuite bathroom. All very clean and modern. The hotel is in a fantastic location the beach few hundred yards in front and the town and Marina 10 minute walk. The bar stayed open until the last person was ready to leave. The pool area was immaculate with plenty of beds. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and we definitely return.

needed for breakfast and then eat out for evening meal. A bathroom with shower. Towels changes every couple of days. Maid service every day emptying bins and tidying bed. which were changed twice during our 10 day stay. No Tv available and no seating area or lounge just the 2 bedrooms. We had a big balcony with sun from morning till night which was wonderful although not private as you could see all the other guests on theirs.Good English breakfast available which we enjoyed. Snacks throughout the day.
Only 5 minutes walk down to the beach where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It was fairly quiet coming to the end of the season but open everywhere.
Staff at Origin very friendly especially Tigga who, worth her weight in gold,. was amazing always there to greet and have a chat.
Everywhere was clean. The pool was appreciated and sunbeds always available, cold yes but i loved it.
Aircon on was an extra cost but we didn't use it. It's on a main road so can be quite noisy if balcony doors are kept open.
Payment for safe was not refunded it was a one off payment .
Masks were only necessary when going into shops but staff had to wear them most of the time.
Hand sanitizer available everywhere and encouraged. Felt very safe re Coronavirus precautions and preparations.
All in all Origin is a fun place to stay great location great price so would probably return there again if returning to Kardamena.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed in a 1st row bungalow with private pool and it was perfect, amazing facilities and staff were brilliant at low season. Especially Rafaella who helped me plan a proposal to my girlfriend with a wonderful private dinner. The reception staff were very helpful and would strive to answer anything quickly - we arrived at around 2/3am and the check in was smooth and informative even at this time. There isn’t an amazing selection for vegetarians but you can get by, similarly in low season there isn’t a great deal open but we hired bikes and went on a few tours which was perfect for the week. Some of the rooms were a little worn and we were left without AC but at low 20degrees this wasn’t such a problem. If you are looking for a perfect week away with attentive staff, good food and drinks, this is the perfect place.

|11.85km from city centerWhat a surprise the Tigaki Star was & what an amazing holiday we had thanks to all the staff at the hotel. This small hotel has everything you would wish for. Beautifully kept gardens , fantastic pool & super staff. I would particularly like to mention Renata our cleaner she was happy, friendly & kept the rooms spotless. The breakfast were quite a spread of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, pastries , breads & cooked breakfasts of eggs , bacon, sausages. The reception staff were very helpful in helping us to book a cookery course & arranging transport . We were a family group of 2 grannies, mum & granddaughter & we would recommend this hotel for all. The location was ideal as only a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, bars & shops. Also within easy access of Kos Old Town by local bus at 2.10 Euros. We will be visiting again. Thank you for help make a super holiday.

|11.8km from city centerHorror hotel. Dodgy owner/manager. We booked 10 nights on lastminute.com. It said there was air conditioning, safe and wifi. Upon check in we discovered that air conditioning could be used for 7 euros (!!!) per day and the safe for 3 euros per day. Unheard of in any other hotel and not mentioned anywhere before our booking. This only happened after we waited 10 minutes at reception with nobody around, only to find a hidden sign saying ”for *more* information go to the pool bar”. We went to the pool bar, it took another while for the manager to show up at reception. We later learned that there is never anybody at the reception, you always have to ask somebody at the pool bar (when it's open... we never dared looking for someone when the bar is closed). WiFi almost never had internet connection. We notified the manager on the first day. He said the telephone company had a problem in the area due to a power cut and they would fix it by the next day. It almost never worked for our whole stay. The bathroom in our room was tiny: a cube barely 2 meters each side (including height). You had to leap over the toilet to enter the shower and you had to use the sink sideways since the toilet was too close in front of it. On the day we checked in the shower pan was stained. Understandbly, because no one could properly clean it since the toilet blocked proper access. The toilet was stained too. The shower box was super cramped, barely any space to rub yourself with a bathtub faucet unexplainably fitted and bulging out. Flimsy shower doors and a flimsy hanger that could not hold the shower head into position, risking that it fell to the floor or on your head each time you turned the knob. There was a holder for a shower gel dispenser but no dispenser. We asked the manager, who gave us two tiny bottles of shower gel, saying there is no dispenser, but the cleaner would have replaced the bottles when empty. We later discovered that the cleaner had no clue where to find those replacement bottles; she was told to place shower gel only in the ”suites”. The toilet seat would not stay up. The bathroom ceiling rattled when the wind was blowing outside, vibrating and making noise. The bedroom is carpeted. But the cleaner clearly has no tool for properly cleaning it: no hoover, no kind of machine... just a mop!!! in fact the carpet is stained and dirty. The room was serviced randomly: some days we realized no one touched the bathroom and on a couple of days not even the bed was made. The upper bed sheet was narrower than the bed, stained and was changed only a few times in 10 days. The lower bed sheet and the pillow cases were never changed. The towels were changed only once after 7 days because we expressedly asked for. A pointed iron nail protruded from the bed frame on one side. At breakfast, the waiter would bring you your food. The same for everybody and the same every single day. No choice. 1 bread roll, 1 cheese triangle, 1 boiled egg, 1 portion of jam, 1 of honey,

|19.2km from city centerWe visited this hotel for 5 nights in May 2024, and WOW what a hotel. This hotel had everything you needed right within its grounds/community. The 5 nights we were at this hotel simply wasn’t enough, we could’ve stayed for 3 weeks! We are an adult couple and never bothered with any of the adult only areas despite them being available if preferred. The food within the main restaurant, with great atmosphere and service was amazing. The drinks we then stayed around the outdoor entertainment area, very close to the pool bar and pool area we sun bathed around all day. The drinks were branded and included in the all inclusive. From the start of the day to the animation team kicking off with aqua gym, introducing all of the activities that day, then getting to know the animation team coming around the sun beds was perfect, they weren’t pushy just very nice people. The animation team also provided us with some quality entertainment including the Disney show. This show was a masterclass of all the animation workers skills, pulled together brilliantly by their manager Dominika, fantastic singer Karoline, great dancers also Tom and Olivia. There was also a great dancer and a great singer from the kids club too but I can’t remember their names. The entertainment team made the holiday extra special, so a big thank you to them. The guest relations and reception staff were also exception at providing great service, along with the restaurant staff, the hotel manager should be proud of their great team. I will definitely be looking at revisiting the hotel, for longer next time.

|19.64km from city centerMe and my boyfriend came here for a week this year. We chose this hotel based on location and price, where we got exactly what we expected. The rooms are what they appear to be from the photos, just enough for those of us who enjoy spending most of our time at the beach, by the pool or doing other activities. The room was cleaned for us every couple of days, but asking for new towels and rubbish to be taken was no problem. The hotel itself is super homey, run by a family which appears to always be available. Hanging around the pool area we were invited to barbeques and had drinks with them, super welcoming people that will happily take a shot with you! There were also multiple children and families enjoying their stay, making the place seem very family friendly. Very sweet people who makes it feel like they open up their home to you. We will definitely be back in the summer 2021 if covid-19 will allow it!

Had a toasted club sandwich to die for. Highly recommended. I had been really worried by a recent TA review but am pleased to report that the rooftop bar is open, fully stocked and for Club members exclusively from 10am to 6pm offer a range of drinks to suit most tastes. There is still some scaffolding on a tower next to one side of the building but that seems to be the extent of ongoing renovation. I would recommend a Club room as this also includes welcome drinks, free access to mini bar in a special club lounge and the rooftop bar freebies.

|19.09km from city centerFamily of 4 - 2 Adults and 2 Children aged 12 and 14. Close distance to all amenities in Kos Town. Rooms were quite spacious and spotlessly clean. Our cleaner was the best; we didn't have to wash up once! Clean bedding and towels daily, floors moped inside and out on the balcony. Nice pool area, always got sun beds. Great staff, especially Dimitris, the bar staff who worked from 5pm to 1am most days. Met some wonderful people who were holidaying the same time as us which made our stay even more fun. We loved Kos and enjoyed visiting Zia to watch the sunset and also enjoyed a ferry ride to a neighbouring island called Kalymnos. We hired a car for the day for only 45 euros when we visited Kalymnos at the port on arrival and enjoyed visiting the small island. Definitely worth a visit if you can explore the island. Overall, we had a fabulous stay. Only downside was we had to pay for air con which was unexpected at 8 euros per day. This wasn't made clear to us by our agent, On The Beach. We have raised a query with them and hopefully will get this refunded back. There was the usual cost for hiring a safe which we expected at a cost of 15 euros for our 10 day stay. A great little hotel for the price. Would highly recommend.

|19.22km from city centerWe have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Anastasia apartments and we had a fantastic time. We stayed in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment which was massive. Beds are super king size and very comfortable. The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome from the start. We didn’t have a kettle or a washing up bowl but I asked t reception and they were brought straight to the room. Nothing was ever a problem you just had to ask and they bent over backwards to help. You have to have a good sense of humor as Elias will take the Mickey and play practical jokes on you. We had such a good laugh with him on a night and chose to stay in the apartments instead of going out because of this reason. Tougud served us breakfast on a morning and drinks up till 3pm and he was such a lovely person and nothing was a problem to him. Yuli was the receptionist on the afternoon and night and she bent over backwards to help with any problems we had. There is a short cut to the main ***** of shops and the harbour so ask any of the staff and they will tell you were to go. It is only a 10 minute walk to shops, harbour and beach. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice. The area isn’t very good for people with mobility issues as the pavements are very uneven and narrow so we walked on the roads a lot of the time. Be prepared for busy traffic and pedal bikes as they have the right of way even if you cross on a zebra crossing. We will definitely be returning to these apartments and can’t wait to book for next year. Make sure you book the 3 island tour and sunset boat trips they were well worth the money, we had a great time. Book direct at the harbour as it’s cheaper than going to the shops to book.

Less than 10 mins drive from airport, in Kardamena which is quieter than Kos town and the hotel itself is not in the town but a 10 min walk along the coast away which for us was even more perfect as we were looking for a relaxing break but close enough to places to go out and eat. - 3x swimming pools on site, no problem getting sun loungers though we came in October so might be an issue peak season - love that the rooms are in blocks over the hill. We got a great sea view and it was nice to walk out into sunshine and not hotel corridors. - everything was clean. From rooms bathrooms hotel lobbys and pool sides - hotel is on steep hills but there are lovely gentlemen happy to take people up and down in golf buggies. (We were happy to walk most the time). - everyone is really friendly - our room (twin room) was really spacious inc. the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Air con worked great. Good balcony with drying rack. Patio door had a mosquito screen so we could open the door and close the screen. Smart tv also so could access netflix! Tea coffee facilities in room. - really comfortable sun loungers. CONS - would have liked to have massage -but was fully booked as theres only one therapist. Book in advance. - asked for an iron and was told “they can’t guarantee theyll find one but they will look”. It didnt turn up and i spent the holiday wearing creased clothes. A 5* hotel should have an iron!!! - breakfast was underwhelming. It was fine and you wont leave hungry but as a frequent traveller, it certainly wasnt a 5* spread, particularly hot food (or lack of it). - outside of meal times you wont get much food. We were booked for breakfast only (not all inclusive) and our flight landed early afternoon. We got to the hotel around 3ish starving and just wanted a sandwich or similar and was told lunch service was over and the a la carte dinner started at 6 (which we needed a reservation for). Poolside has a few snacks which the bar guy was lovely enough to offer me and i was grateful for, but would have been livid if i had to pay for it as it was nothing more than a dry breadroll with a slice of cheese and also pretty rubbish if thats all on offer outside of set mealtimes. We had just landed and didnt want to go hunting for food in the town so just bear this is mind. - room was only cleaned once during our 3 night stay. I dont mind reusing towels but floor and bathrooms should be cleaned. I guess we could have requested a clean which we didn’t. - “beach” in front of hotel is not a beach but a ***** of mud with some sunloungers. Not the hotels fault I suppose but can’t really advertise it as such. Nicer beach few minutes away for public that we used. Overall we were happy with our stay and would come again, but some areas of improvement needed which made me feel this is more a 4* and not a 5*.

The rooms were clean and cosy large balcony. The pool was really a nice vibe with snack bar. Just make sure you order before three. I would like to commend the staff at breakfast for their hospitality their friendliness always having a smile always ready to fix a problem. Special thanks to the reception staff and margarita , Michael and Natasha at breakfast who is always smiling and ready to help. And the guy at the snack bar sorry can’t remember your name. Thimida who I have just found out is the manager is humble and very welcoming. Christy and lilabet at the front desk. Patient with all my taxi requests. There is so much to see and do here . We stayed for 4 nights 5 days and we felt like we had been away for ages. The weather was amazing also some of the shops and restaurants were not open yet as it is not for season. Now for some people this might be a downside however it was super quiet no queues for anything easy to get a cab and I like strolling in the streets, without feeling the pressure of a crowd. There is some great shopping here to some bargains to be had . Portes of Greece and little boutiques around that area. Don’t forget your olive oil , olives ,hammam towels . Everything to enjoy is a minimum 10 to 15 minutes away. One of the best things we experienced was the town centre and the architectural museum is within good distance. We also went to Zia which was fun to see the sunset. Eat at Olympia 1 or 2 . Good food slouvaki and mousakka gyros and of course Greek salad . I found the food reasonably priced spending on average 40 euro for main course for four. Breakfast buffet was great enough variety. April evenings can get chilly . We always got a sunbed There’s is little shop for snacks and water next door Massage available and wellness centre Bring a roku box if you have one .. Netflix works well here especially for the kids in the evening. I will definitely be back to enjoy this island at this hotel

It was magical to be able to use any time the room pool especially during night under the stars! The food was different every day! I specially liked the pizza and the pasta! We used the tavern twice! The views during night was unique! The staff was helpful, always with a smile and always ready to serve! The rooms, the public areas were spotless. There were many activities to choose from! Kos is only 13€ by taxi away! A great holiday in a great location!

We have had many Greek islands and all have their own character, but Kos is certainly at the top 3. Hotel Atlantis is a good hotel for the price we paid for it. Rooms were dated and could be renovated, but everything was all and worked, we had a family room with his two, not very needed with his two, but now we had each a private clothes room and a third room where we were sleeping. All in clusive was great, for everyone enough of what you want.

We like to travel later in the year as it’s quieter but sometimes hotels can let their standards down as they are starting to close down - NOT Atlantica Beach Resort. We had an amazing stay here. We stayed in the main complex with an inland view. The room was lovely and we had a free bottle of bubbly for my wife’s birthday left in the room for our arrival. The hotel is stunning, right on the beach. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the hotel clean and to keep their guests happy. The entertainment team were so good. Fanny / Franz / Basil / Diogo and Drica . They were not pushy with the daytime entertainment especially as the pool was extremely quiet at times. The highlight for us was the evening Mini Discos. Our son absolutely loved it and my wife and I ended up singing the classics during our stay. Even my wife and I got up for a dance at times! The Spa was nice - but pre-warning a UK version of a Deep Tissue Massage is not the same as a Greek Deep Tissue. I really enjoyed it but I was in pain for a few days! No pain no gain! There are two bars outside, the Bare foot bar and the Ammos Bar over the other side near the main beach. The Ammos bar never had any drinks we wanted but the Bare foot bar was always fully stocked. Apple juice ran out on the 2nd day and the machine drinks I.e Orange Juice / Pepsi and Lemonade always tasted salty and at times undrinkable. I think this is due to the water used to water down the machine drinks. The only other issue I found was the beds gave me a sore back and the pillows are huge and not great for sleeping with. The three issues above may seem like I’m being critical, but these are very minor issues with what we found to be a lovely hotel and we had an amazing stay. Bring some snorkels and have a swim around the shallows. Lots of varieties of fish to see! Thank you for an amazing holiday.
