|3.3km from city centerEnjoying our 30th anniversary in Sedona we were looking for a place with wow factor views and this place nails it. You must get a rim view room when staying here. Amazing views! A special thank you to Hannah for providing excellent driving to get us down and back safely from the uptown area. There is great hiking close by and the Mesa Grill down the street is yummy for breakfast too!

|3.06km from city centerThe Poco Diablo hotel is located several miles outside of Sedona. It has most amenities to keep you busy for your stay- a network of hiking trails 1//4 mile from the property, golf course, swimming pool, tennis court and laundry room. The hotel is connected by a shuttle from Phoenix and the Verde Valley shuttle takes you from the hotel to Sedona and other areas of interest. Because the hotel is located away from Sedona you have the opportunity to do star gazing at night. The rooms are spacious. I especially liked the bathroom as there were two sinks- one in the wash area and one outside. Manager Phil and concierge William were easy to talk too and very pleasant. They provided answers to our questions. The hotel still follows Covid-19 protocols so staff had limited contact with guests. Housekeeping is limited to changing towels and picking up trash. I did not give this hotel 5 stars as they do not have a gift or sundry shop. The Willow restaurant at the hotel is open only for dinner. They have no breakfast or lunch options. We went to Safeway to stock up on breakfast supplies. Buy snacks and drinks for your stay at the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

|6.38km from city centerI understand Hilton recently bought this property. It definitely doesn’t have a “Hilton” vibe to it as it is very average looking. The rooms definitely need a renovation….the kitchen and bathroom are dated, the TV is tiny, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking accessories. There are several pools, but some are fairly small. We had a nice private hot tub behind our unit and never saw anyone. Our unit was close to the highway, so you can hear cars when outside, etc. Overall, it is OK, but not up to Hilton standards.

|0.65km from city centerThis Inn was such a pleasant surprise! I planned our Sedona trip later than I usually put plans together, so the room type I asked for was not available when I made the reservation. At check-in, the Manager upgraded our room & we were so comfortable there! Recently renovated, comfortable beds, lovely room, detailed comfort, you could tell someone really thought through all the appointments. It even had a TV channel guide and every room door was screened from the parking lot by its own front porch and also had a cushioned love seat to enjoy the beautiful Sedona Red Rock view. The air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave and mini coffee maker worked great. One of the best things about the Inn was being just next door to the gorgeous Tlaquepaque market.

|4.08km from city centerI stayed at the Andante Inn the last week of September 2022 and I am so happy I decided on this place! It is super convenient, right on 89A only minutes to Uptown Sedona and other great attractions. Not too big and not too small, and the rates are pretty competitive to other places in the area, considering how close it is to the heart of Sedona. There is also everything else you could possibly need nearby right on 89A (restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.), and considering it's off of a busy street, the hotel is pretty quiet and the grounds are well-kept and peaceful. The staff was very nice, professional, and helpful (Ivan, especially, was pleasure to deal with)! The room itself was so comfortable and charming - I really felt at home for the week I stayed there. Had a WONDERFUL view of the mountains right outside the balcony doors and the room was in PRISTINE shape - clean, modern furniture/fixtures, every type of pillow one could possibly need, and probably one of the cleanest carpets I've ever had during a hotel stay! NO bugs whatsoever which was huge for me, since I've had some bad experiences at other places. The hotel has been recently remodeled, so of course, that factors in. Just a few little things that were different from other hotels I've stayed at: there is not a microwave in each room, but there is a modern one on every floor, so it's still convenient (there is a mini-fridge) and any little extras/amenities you might need, you have to ask for - I needed an iron and ironing board, which was brought to me almost immediately upon request. Also, the A/C unit is kind of high-tech and I had to have someone show me how to use the remote the next morning, as most of the controls are hidden behind the lower panel on the remote (it would help if a little label was attached to it, instructing guests to pull down on it, so they're not struggling in the middle of the night to figure it out when they want to adjust the room temperature/fan speed). Only other thing that would have been a little helpful was a small light on the balcony to be able to see better at night when sitting out there. Overall, I absolutely LOVED this place and this will definitely be my go-to again, next time I'm in Sedona! Supposedly, it might be turned into a Best Western, but I really hope it doesn't and that it gets to keep it's unique charm - and if it does change, then I'm very happy to be able to say that I got to experience it while it was the Andante Inn. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're not looking for anything too big and crazy or expensive, and that is still modern and comfortable, in a prime location!

|0.08km from city centerI booked on Expedia based on the good reviews and when I got there, went into the office and found out that there was no one working at the motel. I had to wait to get a code to check in via email. Waited, waited, went shopping, and finally made a few phone calls and finally got the code. Went back to the motel and checked out the room. It was marginally clean, killed a few bugs but was going to stay anyway. We went out to dinner (location was the only plus about this motel). When we got back from dinner, we could not lock our door. I tried again and again, and could not get it to lock. In addition to the electronic lock not working, there was no lock inside the door as every motel/hotel I've ever stayed in has as a security measure so that a hotel/motel employee would not barge in on you at any moment. As I am a single mom, with 2 daughters, I felt extremely unsafe. This motel is on ground level, and anyone could have come in at any moment. we called the number for the ”virtual front desk” and I was speaking with a woman who said she was in California so she wasn't even sure if she could get someone from maintenance to check out the lock for us. I told her I felt unsafe and asked if we could get a refund and leave. She was actually very pleasant and said that would be okay. She even offered to help me find an other place to stay, and I said I would book something else on Expedia. We took our belongings and left. We had not touched the beds or anything. We did wash our hands in the bathroom, so probably used a hand towel or two. The next morning I received an email saying that they were charging me for the stay because they were able to lock the door. I was not imagining that I could not lock the door!! It was a huge inconvenience to have to leave and get a new room.

|0.23km from city centerThe Amara will always remain a special place, It was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was breathtaking, the small things like greetings, and knowing our names when we walk in went a long way; I felt so welcomed!! The views of the red rocks and being on the creek made the location phenomenal. The rooms all have a balcony, some overlook the creek and the pool area. I love that the room is large, and very very clean! Located in the center of Sedona, you are close to all the shopping! The trip was for my Birthday, but it ended up in an engagement surprise too! The Amara made everything unique and special! There was a Birthday surprise in the room with cookies, and apple cider, The property created a special and romantic vibe that made the whole proposal so much more memorable! I felt so special and over thrilled with joy. Overall, the staff was very friendly, & exceptionally welcoming. We enjoyed my birthday breakfast at Salt Rock, our server Marco was so kind and checked on us frequently, and made sure everything was brought out in a timely fashion and how we ordered it.

|0.35km from city centerThe Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel in Uptown Sedona, Arizona was a great experience for our family. The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view of the Sedona Red Rock cliffs. Right below our balcony was the nicely landscaped outdoor pool. The pool saltwater filtration made swimming less irritating than the typical high chlorine pools. This is a heated pool, so it was nice to swim. They also offer guests the use of the private Clubhouse on the property, which has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. Additionally, the Clubhouse has a game room, ping pong, pool tables, racquetball court, sauna, steam room, workout room, and showers. The kids and adults loved it. One other great thing for families was the fantastic free breakfast available every morning. They had oatmeal with all the fixings, scrambled eggs, quiche, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, and beverages. We saved a fortune and a lot of time not having to go to a restaurant. The quality and attention to detail were excellent. All of the staff at the Hotel were friendly and helpful. This hotel's central location makes it a great location for exploring the gorgeous Sedona Red Rock area, shopping, and restaurants. We'll be back!

|0.86km from city centerEl Portal opened the door to time and brought us back to the old days. Snuggled on the sofa in front of the fireplace, listening to the fire blaring, watching the furnishings, oil paintings and crafts furnished around, fully relaxed and comfortable. Especially valuable is that I met the owner and his wife of the hotel, read the brochure written by the gentleman, and deepened my understanding and feelings here. Today we left with gratitude and full memories, and the good memories will live forever! It is recommended to read the brochure written by the male owner.

|1.42km from city centerI recently stayed at Arabella. We had an amazing time. Corey checked us in & helped us with booking our stay. Hayley greeted us with a warm welcome & made us feel right at home. Patrica made the best root beer float & was so knowledgeable to the area. She was so nice & made our experience worth every penny. The next day during check out I was locked out of my room. Maintenance pulled up with smiles on there face. David & Eddie helped us get into the room so we could get our dogs out. We will definitely be staying again soon. Thank you Arabella for an amazing time. You are all a rockstar team!

|10.59km from city centerThis is a beautiful resort located in the middle of the canyon. It's a little bit far from the town, however, you get really connected with nature. I had a room facing the canyon, it's beautiful like you are living solo with nature. The sunlight is great, the rooms are clean and cozy. It does need some maintenance as it gets old over time, however, they are very comfortable to stay in. The best thing I love is the energy in the house and around. Stuff are super nice there and easy to work with.

|0.31km from city centerSo we are Hyatt members and I have to say this particular property is a let down compared to other Hyatts. The outside is stunning. The architecture, landscaping, pool and outside amenities are excellent. Unfortunately it stops there. The room we had was dingy, dark, small, and REAKED of cigarette smoke. It looked like an apartment from the 1970s. Depressing as can be. We stayed for a week and were informed there would be no maid service due to ”COVID”, which, is hilarious since none of the other areas were concerned about COVID. There was no mask wearing or safe distancing in the lobby or any signs to that effect. The only folks wearing masks in all of Sedona were from California (lol!). We had to plead for clean towels (in fact the person at the front desk had to ask permission from her manager!). As Hyatt members we were supposed to be treated to a bottle of water per guest, per day. Of course there was none of that. The coffee pot was ancient and spilled water all over everything. Did they keep the worst room for Hyatt members using points (certainly the Hyatt in Santa Barbara does just that)? We won't know because it's doubtful we will go back. Oh, and even the lobby is bare. The Hyatt's we've been to have at least some water or cucumber water in a jug somewhere---but don't expect any free water in Arizona!

|5.22km from city centerWe had our Granddaughter and mom in for an Arizona visit so Grand Canyon and Sedona were at the tope of the list. In looking at places to stay this looked like a Southwest style they would enjoy. The pictures are current and the place is as advertised. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good location close to town dining and shops. Pool and spa nice for this class of hotel. Breakfast is included but not much to chose from. If your need coffee and a bagel its ok but not much else. Second floor rooms have a balcony with table and chairs your can sit out and relax on also. Even though it was only one night we were very happy with this hotel for what we expected. Will go back again. Hint: Rooms on second floor have a better view, but there are about 10 steps up from the walkway so if that gives you issues climbing (with your bags as well) you may want to stay on first floor. You can see the steps in the photos.

|4.79km from city centerFirst, the positive:
1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.
2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging.
3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened.
5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly.
6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room.
7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity.
Now, the negative:
1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno.
3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent.
4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up.
Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.
