Requested to move rooms even though more expensive for a window on an upper floor but was given a free room change to the 4th floor with a small window but at least had natural light. But this request was only granted on my second try as the first agent who checked me in informed me the hotel was completely booked out even though all sites including their own showed additional rooms with windows.
Service was excellent in the hotel and the buffet breakfast was delicious with the omelette station.
In the reviews they mentioned there was an alpaca on the hotel grounds but the little animal was never seen except for the old ladies near the front entrance with baby alpacas asking all guests if they would like pictures for a fee.

The hotel was nice, the staff was very accommodating, they even prepared sack breakfasts for us to take when we had 4am pickups for our hiking trips! They have oxygen available in the lobby if needed and staff at the desk 24/7. All the staff speaks English which is so helpful. Hotel is within walking distance of the main plaza which is great. The breakfast in the mornings is delicious with a lot of selection and the dinner at the restaurant at night is great and convenient after long days of hiking! Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cusco.

The hotel location was great; higher on the mountain and within walking distance of boutiques and nice restaurants. At night when you walked around the streets you could see the twinkling lights from homes further up on the hill. The hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful and our double twin bedroom was clean and spacious. We chose to only eat fruit at the breakfast area since we prefered to visit a local cafe near the main square. Families with small children will need to be careful walking around (and with strollers) since the streets in Cusco are very narrow and pedestrians need to move to accommodate oncoming one way traffic.

Location: Few minutes walking from Plaza De Armas so it’s great to explore the city and close to all dinning and shopping. It’s located on a street that’s accessible by car so if you arrive by Taxi you don’t have to walk with your luggage. Room: Spacious, comfy with a small and clean bathroom. Breakfast: we didn’t get to have breakfast at the property since we had to leave early for excursions everyday, but they pack small to-go breakfast bag that you have to request the night before. Staff: very nice and welcoming staff who are very helpful and happily give recommendations for things to do/ dining.

The hostal is owned by the incredibly kind and helpful host, Zuzan, who speaks only Spanish - great for us (my girlfriend is fluent and I'm learning). Zuzan's always ready with guidance about attractions, arrangement of day-tours and tips regarding everyday-needs (restaurants, laundry-services etc.). On the day of check-out (we were leaving in the late evening) we could have our baggage stored and the possibility of a bath. There's a common kitchen ready for use. Breakfast is included consisting of eggs, toast, bread with butter and jam, coffee, tee and fruit juice. Really a place worth recommendation!

The room we were in had two floors, with the upstairs having 2 double beds and the downstairs with a small kitchen sink, counter, mini fridge and a pull out couch. It was perfect for our family of 4! The owner, Manuel and his staff (his wife Norma, who made delicious eggs for us at breakfast, Elliott, Andres, Elizabeth and Carmen were all so very kind, attentive and helpful. They helped arrange excursions and taxis for us, all at a very reasonable price. They have coca tea at the lobby to help with altitude sickness. We stayed there for several days, and it felt like coming home every time we got back to the hotel. A little bonus is their dog, Chasqui, who is the sweetest, friendliest doggo! Highly recommended!

|1.37km from city centerVery good living experience. First of all, the location is very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to walk to the Sun Temple without turning around. The facade is ordinary but the rooms are very clean, with separate bathrooms, similar to the design of youth hostels, which makes the price/performance ratio quite high. Especially the hot water is very good. It is too comfortable to take a shower after a day of play. Unfortunately, there is no sofa in the room. The owner may want to chat together in the common room on the first floor.
The most worth mentioning is that the owner and his wife are very nice, warm and considerate, and communicate in both English and Spanish. I am very relieved and comfortable living there.

I am not going to lie when you pull up to the front of the hotel, it is a busy street and not much to look at. Once you go in, it has a beautiful courtyard and you no longer hear the sounds of the street or city. Our room was spacious for 2 people and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The front staff were always helpful and accommodating with our requests and questions about Cusco and where to find certain things. They assisted us with several taxis, which made transportation easy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

|1.98km from city centerWe just stayed here either side of a trip to Manu rainforest- it was such good value! -so much better than the hotel we had been staying in in Cusco for the same price. The hotel is clean, has nice modern rooms, great showers and the couple that run it are just lovely! They couldn’t do enough for us, and were so friendly and welcoming. They helped us get our laundry done quickly when we needed it done very short notice, did us a boxed breakfast to take on our trip when we had to leave early, and organised our taxi back to the airport for us -for less than we paid coming the other way too. Would totally recommend as it’s great value for the money, and will go back there if I’m in Cusco again. Thankyou!

The rooms are well decorated, have very comfortable beds, a warm shower, and a small heater when needed (Cusco can be cold in the night!). There is a basic breakfast included. The view from the breakfast room is just stunning!! The view alone is already worth the stay (: The location is central: 5 minutes walking to the main plaza and all the restaurants. Lastly, the staff was very helpful. They gave us good tips for the environment, and informed about our pick up times for the tours we did (like rainbow mountain, we were picked up at 4.00 am). They got up early in the morning and called us when the pick up was there. They were highly trustworthy. Conclusion: a comfortable stay in the city center, with a beautiful view & nice people included! We can definitely recommend a stay here

Located on the southwest corner of the Plaza de Armas, this hotel puts you directly in the active center of Cusco. The staff are more than polite and helpful. When we had early expedition departures, they provided a sack lunch and even stood by to ensure all was safe when we waited for our rides at 0300 in the morning. The rooms were quaint and clean. Our room was off the street and it was wonderful as we did not have to contend with any possible traffic or noise from the Plaza activities. There is a fabulous little restaurant on the second level, that is always full with either hotel patrons or guests from the community. They were more than gracious in allowing us to store our luggage for 4 days while we hiked the Inca Trail. The price is also right with breakfast included with most rooms. I highly recommend this hotel due to location and the great service they provide.

|1.43km from city centerThree stars given for the positives: Excellent location , walking distance to everything. Comfortable bed. Excellent hot water and water pressure . Economical price. This is a 2 star hotel however , so just be prepared for a few hassles. It is very loud for sleeping , bring ear plugs. All the rooms surround an open courtyard so every door opening sounds like a gun shot . The included breakfast is hardly enough to feed a small child. (If you want an actual breakfast you have to pay extra.) the building is very cold and dark all the time , the lights are literally never on. And the front door is always locked at all times of the day so you have to ring a loud bell (which of course can be heard by all the rooms ) . The staff was overall friendly and helpful, some much more so than others. I asked for a glass of water , looking at pitchers of water in the kitchen area, and after arguing with me about having to buy a bottle the older manager lady poured me a small glass. And then that night I asked the night guy for a glass of water before bed and his manager made a point to tell the staff not to give me a glass of water. I understand water costs money but this seemed over the top and the very opposite of hospitality. That combined with the attitude they gave me left a very bad taste in my mouth for this hotel. Maybe spend a few bucks more and get a better experience elsewhere
