The room is big and spacious but a bit run down. The hotel is quite old anyway. The sink in the room leaked quite badly. The lifts are quite slow. The only thumbs up would be the food served for breakfast (from my observation because I didn’t take breakfast package with my room booking).

We booked 13 rooms for an academic visit in Shah Alam for 3-4 Jan 2023. All rooms were clean and nicely done. Each room is provided with 2 towels, soaps and shampoo. TV and air conditioner are all work well. The shower is a bit broken but the rest is all good. The highlight here is the bed. Very clean with fluffy pillows you can only get from 5-star hotels 😁 Deposit of RM50 for each room must be paid before you check in. As we did not bring enough cash, we asked if we can only put up RM100. The reception guy was kind enough to call the owner of the hotel to get a yes from him. After much negotiation, we agreed with RM200! Thanks to them!

Everything is good exept for cleanliness especially at toilet area. Even my 4 years old daughter refused to seat down on the toilet bowl because she said very dirty. The room got many dust at closed area but that one i still can close eyes. But toilet….. so dirty.. i just came back from oversea so im so tired to even complaint or change room.

This is a nice hotel just opened 2 years ago. The staffs there are very friendly and helpful. Only the room is a bit small but everything is good. If you stay there, remember to prepare your own shampoo as the hotel does not provide. The hotel got provide hairdryer and iron.. A good hotel to recommend.

Super polite staff from the car park security guard until I left, super awesome training by the management!  Was greeted well by Putri who checked us in, she was super polite and I felt valued as an Honors member. Room was super clean, the air conditioning was cold, water pressure was good and the hot water was good. The room was very spacious and the tv was at eye level when lying on the bed, good touch and attention to details. Tried the food room service, the price was super value for money with the portion that was given, taste wise ok as well, everything was seasoned well. The facilities at level 5 and 5A were amazing as well, everything was very clean and organized. Game room was a nice touch with PlayStations, a pool table and board games. The steam room is a must visit, you can change and bath comfortably. I would say the cleanliness of this DoubleTree Shah Alam by Hilton is way better than Hilton KL, haha. Breakfast at Makan was simply amazing...! Again we were greeted politely, all the food was delicious at the correct temperature and the staff was very attentive to what you want or you want something. Three foods you must try at Makan Kitchen : 1. The fresh orange juice - simply fresh haha. 2. Roti Canai - well season and the thickness was just right 3. Many people will miss this : the charcoal toast bangkali bread at the Malay food corner there.  I was staring at it then someone just walked up to me and asked me do I want it? I am like wow yes! The bread was so crunchy and tasty that I could eat a lot of them with salted butter and kaya. If you are into half boiled eggs, eat it with them and wow you will be blown away! Btw it's awesome they serve ice cream at breakfast - five flavors, again eat all you want! Checked out earlier as I have some matters to attend to and have to pay RM5 for the parking. Since it's covered parking and guarded well by the polite guard, ya sure it's worth it!

They are happy to entertain you even if you call them on the phone. The room is simple but tidy. They also sell essentials to make your stay more pleasant. The room is peaceful, there is more than enough parking in front of the hotel.The hotel is also close to a variety of restaurants and convenience stores. First of all, I nk reccomend dekat korang utk stay dkt sini if u guys plan to stay in Shah Alam sebab bilik dia selesa sangat and luas it could fit 4-5 guest or maybe more I guess so. The only problem is tmpt dia jauh sikit drpd bandar thats all but anyway it is very worth it and affordable for a big and very very comfortable room. Layanan drpd staff sangat baik, respon sangat pantas dan membantu. I will definitely repeat to stay here next time if I came to Shah Alam. Thankyou for your great service :)

Honest review here - first of all the service of the workers is good and helpful so i rate 5 starts for their service but really had to say the hotel is quite old and the sofa is not really clean , can see many dusk inside the rotan sofa. Beside the shower room is not really clean as the shower head have obvious black stain which we not sure what was this as a four star hotel the amenities they provided have comb however I saw hair in the new comb plastic so I didn’t use it. Cleanliness and environment should be improve but had to thumbs up to the worker there really helpful and nice. And extra , breakfast is not bad as well.

Location is good as eateries outlets are close by. We paid RM125+RM50 (Deposit). Last minute chk-in bcos the homestay was locked when we came @ 0020 hrs. Anyway for that price is not cheap, aircon wasn't cold enough despite adjusting the temperature on the remote control. Front desk did not even inform us that there was a free WIFI. Staff needs to be train. We were still in the Doctor's surgery room, called them to inform that we may be slightly late but will definitely rush back to chk out. Eventually we chk out at 1300 hrs and was charged RM15 extra for the one hr late chk out. 1st and the LAST time for us.

There is no window, it is still not good, it is not airy, I am coming back from Malay West. In fact, it is dawning at five or six o'clock. Overall, we had a great experience with the DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam branch, staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and modern. The hotel near Central i-City mall, a short walk from i-City Theme Park, WaterWorld, and SnoWalk. My kid has a very enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early before 3pm. So this was a big plus. Tosca Italian Trattoria sevice was excellent, a big thanks to Mr. Fareez the outlet Manager for the wonderful great service to us, family and i had a great time there. Would definitely big recommend friends there.
