I was staying in this hotel for a business trip, 4 days and 3 nights. The first impression of this hotel due to it location at the shoplots, was an ordinary Inn or motel type. But when i enter in, i was astonished by it good looking lobby, interiors and design. The building painted black or dark brown, but with it creative interior makes the hotel look classy, modern and beautiful. It make you want to come here again and stay in this hotel again. With only 2 storeys hotel, you can go up to your room either by elevator or stairs. The door design is very modern, the door lock is modern and the ring bell is very impressive. The room bed ja very comfort, not smelly like other hotel and spacious. They prepare a mineral bottles in each room, beside tea and packet of coffee. Overall room is great, toilet is clean and come with water heater. The only issue is the TV channels is few only, and the TV you can’t plug any hdmi cable to it. My first nite stay here, the internet here is awful due to they having issue with their router. But my second night was better, i can play a match of PUBG, and two episodes series from AppleTV. Overall, this hotel i can rate as 8/10! A must stay hotel!

I was quite sceptical initially because talking about location, not that strategic. Needs to take Grab to go the Spring Shopping Mall. However, I was surprised. The room was quite cosy. I had good night sleep with the considerably comfortable bedding & pillows. Bring your own toiletries. The hotel is quite generous with the coffee, tea sachets & drinking waters. I think the best part is the breakfast buffet spread. It took me by surprise. Considerably generous choices.

First impression, a quiet and serene hotel within rows of shop houses. Upon entering the hotel lobby, I felt like walking into a Japanese home. Very zen;) Eateries and supermarket are walking distance. My stay was very comfortable and everywhere I look were clean, I love it. A little bit hiccup during checking in due to system malfunction, but the matter was rectify within 5minutes,so no problem there. Just make sure all system were in a good condition. For the price I paid, it is very worth it. Less than RM100 for a very good room.I would stay here again during my next visit to Bintulu.

Location is at town area. If you looking for a place to sleep and cheap, this is the place that you can go to. Beside it there's a bakery and Japanese restaurant if you don't want to go far. 7-Eleven is available just opposite as well. Getting a grab ride is not difficult too. This inn also provide a good supply of water dispenser in each floor.

Very spacious one bedroom apartment. They obliged my request for high floor with sea view which was very nice. Comfy bed. Strong air conditioning in the bedroom and living area. Good water pressure with hot water supply for shower and sink in the bathroom. Furnishings are a little dated and sp****. Kitchenette feels a bit grimy and the sink's water pressure was poor. It's not well equipped, perhaps for long stay where you really use it supplies can be requested. Due to Covid, breakfast was lunchbox style placed outside the room. It was horrible! We only had it the first morning, subsequent days we told them not to bother. Location is good if you have your own car, otherwise it's got nothing nearby for food and supplies. Photos show double pillows but it's actually one measly pillow per person. Upon request they only give 1 extra (don't understand why so stingy). Bedroom has blackout curtains but the bathroom door is frosted glass which lets light in. If you like to sleep in a darkened room, this will irritate the hell out of you as it did me! For the price of RM125 per night, it is extremely good.

The check in process was easy, but a little too easy as in I was not shown what direction to head to get to my room, what floor it was on or even where the lifts were. Check in staff were pleasant enough though. I eventually found my room and it was ok. For an ”executive suite” it was way below par, but for a normal double room, it would have been fine. Decor was very dated but sufficient. I didn't particularly like the wooden flooring, but that's a personal choice and it was clean so hey ho. The biggest issue I had was I could only find one plug socket, which was nowhere near the bed and it appeared to be very loose in the wall. The 2 x USB sockets on it were handy, but only worked when they wanted too. The room phone did not work so I had to go to reception to order room service. On that subject, I ordered a pizza and it was delicious. I genuinely loved it and it was delivered piping hot. The downside was the guy who delivered demanded cash only (which was not stated anywhere in the room service menu) and I did not have enough cash on my so, much to a bemused look from him, I charged it to my room. The shower was over the bath which was a bit dated but was decent enough. The bath mat was a bit shabby looking so did not use it. The towels were clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and I did have a couple of good nights sleep. I did nit try the restaurant in the hotel so cannot comment. Overall, it is a decent hotel that could be doing with a facelift, but it was OK. It is located right next to a shopping mall which, being honest, is worth a miss, but that's for a different review.

This is an honest review. I pretty much checked into the hotel for two nights. I had some issues with the air conditioning but they changed my room immediately after the day. Which im thankful to them. The rooms are good. Very neat, clean and hygienic. Ive attached pictures with this reviews. The washroom is really good. Fantastic water pressure, toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, earbuds, sanitary bag, and shower caps are provided. Towels are amazingly placed on the bed with different animal deco. Good lightings. A big mirror the plus point for me plus they have a mini bar and a study table too. Breakfast is good for the value. I think it starts at 7am to 10am. They do not have 24 hours food room service which is no biggie for me as you could walk down to many other food courts and restaurants around the area. Thank you to the staff for making my stay comfortable.

I stayed for 4 nights. The room is very big & spacious with all the basic amenities. I was given a room facing the sea. The bed was quite comfortable. Not much choice of tv channels. Since I was on official trip, I needed to be in contact with my office at all time during office hours but the WiFi connection was very bad. My telco network reception is quite poor too (of course not the hotel’s fault but was hoping the WiFi to be efficient). The foods are quite disappointing. The staff on the other hands were quite pleasant, friendly & helpful. Understood that it took them quite sometimes to make up the room because the hotel is 1 of the quarantine hotels so they missed out cleaning the room I was at the day before my check out. Plus point is the rooftop. You can watch the sunset from the rooftop

First thought, this hotel is good. The view near the lobby looks beautiful. Upon reaching the room there seemed to be a lack of him. There are still cans of drinks, cigarette dust near the window. In other words not as we thought. Sometimes it's good to have a cheap hotel with the best quality. In any case, the front door and checkin counter do their job best. I am satisfied with their service.

Great hospitality, spent 15 nights there for quarantine and everything was good from food, bed, toilets. Everything was clean and comfy, perfect for a short getaway. Was sent food every few hours too during the quarantine! The food was so-so but overall it was a truly amazing experience.

Stunning location. No beach though. And that is it. Hotel is not maintained at all, bordering on being unsafe. Rooms dirty, equipment not in good order and not working. Staff are as help-full as they can be. But obviously limited by bad management. I asked a staff member if they are happy to work there. They could not answer me. Not recommended. This is becoming an embarrassment for the Sarawak state. Stay in Bintulu or Miri and travel if you have to work in and around Samalaju Industrial Park.

The hotel located in the city center. Hotel attached to the Parkcity Mall. The place is really convenient because it is very near to shop lot. If you want to buy souvenirs, there a few shop that sell local Sarawak souvenir like kek lapis and kain batik inside the mall. The room is so spacious furnished and equipped with modern furniture. i love the shower big shower head and also the bathroom toiletries are suitable for a business traveler. For Muslim, they provide praying mat and also 'kain sarung' for praying. Iron, safety box is also provided in the room. the nice thing was, the hotel provide welcoming fruits in the room when i checked into the hotel. This is my first time having fresh fruits in the room. the mini bar was available, coffee tea and also kettle. There was also can drinks provided, but i am not sure whether it is free or chargeable if you drink it. The highlight of the hotel i think it is the cafe. I went there for breakfast, a lot of choice to choose from, but the best was the view from the cafe. It was so beautiful looking at the sea when you are having breakfast. Overall my stay in this hotel is awesome and a am looking forward to come to this hotel again.

Don't be fooled by the relative cheapness and beautiful pictures post by the pwner at Google, OYO and AGODA. This so called 'hotel' is in fact some sort of large scale psychological experiment about human suffering and gullibility! The sheets on the bed and pillowcase looked like they had not being cleaned for ages. The dirty floor mat looked like in a particularly messy and degrading part of the plumbing job. Dirty bathroom with no locks, broken furniture, leaking stains on the ceiling. Dusty and dirty air-cond too! I cannot convey strongly enough how disgusting this place is. DO NOT stay in this absolute dump! In summary, this place is a complete hole.

Location was good, but the cleanliness need to improve a little bit. Got blood stain inside comforter. ( already ask to change comforter but then I realised they only change outer pieces of comforter not the comforter . The blood stain was inside comforter) . Overall was good . Amigo Hotel is a good place for a business stay if you love travelling comfortable and at the same time you get to unwind in Bintulu. Situated just by walking distance to the waterfront. Great to have a place to walk around after a day of work at the city. You can see people jogging, fishing, watch birds flying around and also might see people on their boats. Room is also well maintained. Just that in my case I encounter water dripping from the aircond on one of the 2 days that I stayed there. Lasted for about 5 minutes. Otherwise everything else was okay. If you would like to stay here, I would suggest to request for a room in the middle of the building as it will be better soundproof. Mine is at the corner of the building right next to the entertainment block, I can hear the loud music although I am not a light sleeper. If you prefer very hot water during shower, you might want to check that too as soon as you enter the room as mine is not so heated. But since I am okay with that then thats fine. Breakfast although not buffet, it serves a very huge portion of each. Had American breakfast and toasted bread with half boiled egg for the 2 days stay. Staff were definitely very helpful! The thing that made me feel welcomed is probably the beautiful and new interior as well as a very nice scent from lobby to your room and the luxury towel they provided. I hope the quality stays the same! Will come back again for this hotel😊
