When I booked, I thought of a five-star hotel, and the reviews from previous stays were also very favorable. So I decided to pick it up as a two-day one-day trip to celebrate our anniversary. It is commendable that the service attitude is very good, which makes up for other shortcomings. Open the door and enter the hotel room. Of course, you can visit the surroundings. There are showers, bathtubs, cloakrooms, and terraces...all of which are spacious and comfortable. Hotel facilities include fitness room, ball room, swimming pool... and free 2-hour bicycle rental. However, in a five-star hotel, it is unimaginable that the spouts of the kettles in the rooms are full of fluffy scorpions. Maybe the people who stay in the room never use them, and the waiters ignore them. They go to the swimming pool. The small swimming pool is one-third of the pool𥚃 All the branches and leaves on the surface have no intention of falling into the water, so I had to soak in the water in the small pool with massage function. If you look closely, the water is spraying, so you don't fall into the water. Sitting on a low plane, you can see a lot of leaves floating on the water. Will not choose to stay again.

The hotel is located in the small town of Whistler, and the back door of the hotel is the cable car. The location is very convenient. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the rooms are small, clean and tidy. There was no microwave in the room, and the refrigerator didn't work either, which was full of wine. Hotel parking is subject to additional charges.

Terrible customer service. We are leaving early for the airport today, so we asked to pay the bill last night. A lot of confusion by Reception occurred before we got the final details …( we only had 3 extra items on our bill as well as the room- so, not a complicated calculation ) we then went back to our room to transfer money onto our travel money card to pay for our bill. My husband went down to Reception to pay- (a new person on Reception) paid the bill - Staff member asked if it was Debit /credit card - my husband said several times Debit card. Bill paid he returned to the room. A telephone call from Reception, to say he (Staff Member) had used the wrong machine to pay and could we come back to Reception to pay our bill. On checking our account the money had been taken out of our account plus extra !! The staff member made a mistake which meant our debit card was overdrawn, with extra USD$ being used to pay for this extra 24$ plus a fee!!! We were certainly not going to pay out an extra $2000+ bill! We went to Reception to sort it- tel calls made to head of Reception - no answer. I asked for the details of the Hotel Manager to which the Staff member ever said there wasn’t a Hotel Manager ?!!!! I knew they wouldn’t be available but wanted the name & number . He was very unhelpful- eventually he told me there was a Manager!! I rang his number (it is late by this time, so knew I’d be only leaving a message) only to be told that this person had not set up an answering service… really? A manager of 2 Pan Pacific hotels in Whistler… The staff member gave me the number of the head of Reception- I left a message on her answering machine to contact us - outlining our issues. We are still waiting to hear back….. This hotel is expensive- that we don’t mind if we are having a nice time, but we haven’t slept all night with the worry of this & us needing to leave early. Including taxes the room has cost 660$ a night. This very stressful incident has spoilt a special occasion trip for us - we are leaving for the airport very upset at the way in which we have been treated. Paying your bill should be the easiest thing in the world- it should come as no surprise to the hotel, as everyone has to do it! Staff training is obviously an issue that needs sorting - you speak to a different person every time- we still have had no reply from the Head of Reception, absolutely shocking.

The big bed was folded into the closet and the other two small beds were folded by the sofa. Fortunately, the surrounding area is very lively. In addition, it is better to sleep four people. There is parking lot, room scan card is available, CAD 22.4 per night, and only one. No breakfast, lots of small cafes in the square next to it. In addition, the kitchen supplies are complete, you can buy the materials if you have time, which is suitable for home.

Really enjoyed staying here while snowboarding at whistler Blackcomb. The mountain lifts and lift ticket booth is right outside the hotel. Hotel service was also very nice, and the room exactly as we wanted it. We didn’t get to use the hot tub/ sauna but looked enticing too! Very close to the ski slopes, very convenient. Parking for one day is $ 15, and the valet parking service is chosen, $ 38, but it is more convenient to pick up the car the next day at 3pm. Check out the next day is 11:00 am, because the plan is to ski the next day, so get up early and check out, it is good to have luggage storage. It may be the reason for living on the top floor. It was a little noisy in the middle of the night. It was estimated that what kind of equipment was running and it was better to use earplugs. There are free fruit and boiling water services in the lobby. It is still a good choice to rest in the lobby after skiing, but it is better to stay for another night next time, otherwise it will be tiring to leave after skiing on the day.

I had a great experience at Westin. The room was spacious and clean, packed with amenities and a kitchenette. The restaurant in the hotel provided great meals, attentive service and fair prices. If you like swimming, they have a pool that extends from the inside to the outside. Of course, they also have their famous large hot tubs both indoors and outdoors that everybody visits and loves. 5/5.

Our stay at Evolution made as rethink going to a regular hotel the next time we are in Whistler (previously stayed at the Fairmount Hotel’s ). It’s located on Creekside so not in the village. Our suite was clean, spacious, with modern amenities - higher end appliances, huge soaker tub and shower, heated bathroom floors, a fireplace - everything a family would need. I was impressed they even provided dishwasher pods and laundry soap. The pool was small but available to book to keep the numbers low due to COVID-19. We also appreciated the 11:00 am check out. We will return and hopefully by then the games room, sauna, steam room and gym will be opened.

Legends at Creekside is best hotel especially for families close to Whistler Village (7 min drive, 50 min walk, quick bus ride). Rooms: quiet, plush linens, full kitchen (large fridge & freezer), fireplace, washer & dryer with soap, TV in lr & bedroom, multimedia player to play music via bluetooth, cd or usb stick in lr. Hotel: kids play room (not open in covid times), outdoor pool & hot tub open, Dusty’s pub-type & apres ski restaurant around corner, secure ski lockers in lobby (ask for lock on check-in). Skiing: Creekside lift right around corner, handy ski rentals. When skiing down make sure you follow trail signs back to Creekside, or download via Creekside Gondola. Biking: fairly secure bike lockers on P2 (access to anyone with key card but can lock to secure metal bike rack).

I visited Whistler during the high season, Christmas and the lodgings were all too expensive. That's how I found the Pangea Pod Hotel. Although the name is a hotel, it is actually a capsule hotel with curtains that open and close the door(?), like a hotel. However, contrary to our fears, the soundproofing was good and we were able to rest in moderate comfort. Circulates air like a fan inside? There's a machine that does it, but even though it's loud, it doesn't sound great outside. It's almost stuffy because it's a straight space, but the fan(?) functions well. The location is the best as it is in the Olympic Village ☺️

We had first stayed at the Tantalus Lodge about 13 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The facilities are somewhat dated, but very clean. They provided the proper bed configuration for our family. By mid afternoon of the first day, we still had not received housekeeping services, even though the website states daily housekeeping and there was the usual card in the bathroom about reusing your towels. I called the front desk, and was told that housekeeping is only provided on the 3rd day. Since we were only staying 4 nights this seemed a little silly, but I did not say anything. However, no one ever showed up to clean our room. The trash was overflowing by the time we checked out. There is a full kitchen, and we only cooked breakfast. Imagine if we had cooked dinner too! Guests should be notified at check in what the policy is, and a procedure should be implemented to handle trash. In addition, the towels were extremely flimsy, and difficult to use so many days in a row.

Going out of the hotel and sliding down is the Heishu Mountain Cable Car Station. After skiing from Heishu Mountain and exhausted, the first person to arrive is this hotel. The room has a full set of cooking equipment. So we slid back to the room to eat at noon, and then continued the afternoon session. We went on New Year's Day, and it was snowing in a few days, and the sight was not good. When skiing in Whistler, choosing good weather is important.

We enjoyed our stay at Nita lake lodge. We got a room with a mountain view, it might not be better than the ones with lake view but we got a chance to borrow their complimentary canoe, kayak and SUP's so we still had enjoyed a good amount of time at the lake. We also got a chance to borrow the complimentary bikes and was able to stroll around Alta Lake through Valley Trail, it was really nice that they're offering these amenities, It made an awesome summer staycation hotel in Whistler. The customer service have been great from all the staffs I've encountered, especially the front desk/guest services, they've been very welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious, the bed was more on the firm side but I slept well. I only woke up when the kid on the room beside us started crying at 5am, but I've fallen asleep again after that. If you're a light sleeper, perhaps avoid rooms that have an adjoining access to minimize overhearing your neighbor. We also occassionally hear people passing by the hallway so the rooms are probably not very sound proof. I loved the huge bath tub and plenty of towels that's been provided. Overall, I'm very pleased with my stay. If anyone's planning to go to Whistler for a summer getaway, I highly recommend Nita Lake Lodge.

Deer Lodge unit 216: Okay, won’t stay again. The building is older, the unit is okay. There is NO central air, a mobile unit was in the bedroom but that did not adequately cool the living area. The AC was not on to cool the unit in advance (after stating our arrival). Towel supply - only 3 face clothes and still had mascara stains on one. Toilet Paper - < 3 rolls for three days for three woman. Small rolls of TP. Cleanliness - dust bunnies in corners. Bedding was tossed into closet, not folded. Unit IS well stocked in kitchen. The pool are is nice. The pool could have been cleaner one day and was good the second day. The floor was ver slippery and people were slipping. However, our response is due to the fact we called and requested more toilet paper, face cloths and soap (2 small provided). This resulted in receiving two phone calls asking if we checked under the sink for face cloths. The second call was saying that the owner said there was adequate T.P. We were questioned about how much we needed and there was adequate amounts supplied. My RESPONSE to the person calling was I understood he was not the problem and I was not going to defend what we required and we would purchase our own supplies. This is the reason for a negative review. Customer service is not great!

The excellent service started when I arrived very early and asked if it was possible to check in early. The front desk person, Kajal, was honest and provided clear expectations that it might not be possible but she would check and call back. I’ve encountered this situation before and I have almost never had someone follow through and call back. Kajal was true to her word and went above and beyond to see what was possible without making any compromises. After that, everything met or exceeded my expectations. We went to Whistler Christmas time pre-COVID. They had a booth where they were giving presentations for an Embarc time share where you could give a deposit for a time share presentation and they would give you a 4-night, 3 days stay at a hotel pretty much in the Whistler village next to the slopes as well as some sort of credit. We paid $199 Canadian for this package. Got an email with our reciept and an email with the voucher shortly thereafter. I gave them all my details (name, phone number, address, etc.) and after the initial receipt that was emailed to me, I never heard back again. Then COVID took place and Canada basically closed its borders for ”a few weeks” that turned into more than 2 years for people from the US who didn't have compelling reason (visiting family, travelling to Alaska, etc.). Tried calling several times, never got through because of extremely long wait times. Not once did we get any communication (despite them having our contact info). When I did call, they said I had opted out of communication (which I had not) and in the background they had been extending my voucher's expiration date as the pandemic continued. Again, no communication of any kind that this was taking place, and as I had an essential worker in the house, this wasn't entirely a priority. So when I did call to redeem my voucher, I was told that it had expired and I would need to pay more to use it and if i did pay more, I had to use it by the end of this calendar year. I know it goes without saying that you should be cautious about time shares and how they are sold, but this entire experience has definitely turned me off from Embarc as a company.

There are many good accommodations in Whistler town. I chose this one because of their decoration style, which is more artistic, and it is true! 1. The decoration is quite artistic, and the room layout is also very thoughtful, including a diy doll put on; a small animal on the bed when returning to the hotel; a little yellow duck on the side of the bathtub... Very interesting 2. There is a map of the town at the front desk, and the service staff will be very enthusiastic to introduce you to several service points in the town, and will also help you inquire about some activity items you want to know 3. Our double bed room is facing the street, it is quiet outside, but the sound insulation of the door is average, and the sound in the corridor will be clearer. 4. Slippers need to be brought by yourself. The smell of the three-piece bathroom set is very special. I like it 5. The hotel is in a good location. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the cable car point, and the Olympic Fifth Ring Plaza is 1-2 minutes away. There are many choices for dining in the surrounding area. Of course, it is very convenient to walk to the center of the town and the surrounding area. 6. The hotel has its own parking lot, 21 Canadian dollars/night, and tax is added during settlement... Is a favorite hotel, recommended!
