My stay there was very comfortable. The room had everything I need. I like their shampoo and body foam, not those that will give me dry hair/skin. The location was great! It’s a 5-10 mins walk to plaza Singapura and you can even visit Fort Canning Park too. It would be better if they can accept cash for the deposits. I had to use my credit card and keep the receipt until the refund for the deposit is done. The TV was super huge. It would be better if we can access its HDMI port or use Youtube App on it.

Stayed one night here with friends. The hotel offers adequate facilities such as swimming pool , roof garden , restaurants , gym and various seating area near the pool. The view of the swimming pool area was really amazing . Able to see MBS building and nearby famous CBD buildings from the pool . Location is convenient as it is very close to bus stop and mrt station. With less than $100 room rate, consider very cheap . But there was a foul smell inside the room and toothbrush not provided . Otherwise it would be perfect .

Wow! It’s Hotel Fort Canning! That’s my first impression of HFC especially from the outside. “Must be fancy”. Walking into the lobby was still not bad, quite a nice sight because it of the colonial feels. But there were a few things that raised my eyebrows as I entered my premium room (room 344): * Windows overlooking the park was beautiful BUT the glass was very very dirty (externally) and it made the sight quite unappealing. * Wireless-controlled curtain was pretty old and quite dirty. Although this was quite minor. * The wooden fixtures (including parquet flooring) in my room were not well maintained (with some damages here and there) and it was also quite dusty at some areas. * The tv was probably the most disappointing because it was pretty small for a huge room and very very limited channels so bring your tablet/laptop! * Breakfast was quite disappointing because since it seemed that the restaurant were short staffed, the service was really below par :( And the food was pretty normal despite the additional ‘breakfast price’ that we were paying for the package. However, the most enjoyable part of the entire staycay was definitely the bath tub! It was pretty huge and so was the space in the toilet! I’m sorry to say it wasn’t the best experience staying at HFC and i hope the management will improve the maintenance of the rooms in the future!

This staycation experience at Hotel Grand Central was indeed , quite a fulfilling one, with the room being on a high floor , and the hotel being on close proximity to other major shopping outlets belt in 0rchard Road. Food dishes are plentiful throughout the various F&B establishments situated throughout the nearby malls and eateries , and i am truly spoilt for choice as to what to eat first . . Really quite an unforgettable and fulfilling staycation experience , will surely come back soon , for another refreshing stay here . .

Very convenient location right outside Bencoolen MRT and close to Bras Basah MRT too. Within walking distance to Plaza Singapura, Bugis and City Hall. Room was decent, had a bathtub too. Strict on visitors allowed up into the room and strict on check out time. Not such a good view.

Where do I even begin with this review? Let me start off with the location of the place: it's pretty convenient since it's practically less than a 5-minutes walk from Bencoolen Station. There's a Cheers store on the opposite side of the road though it's not 24-hours. If you're ever feeling parched or hungry in the middle of the night, you could always walk to 7-Eleven that's over at Rendezvous Hotel that's a couple minutes walk away. Also it's near The Cathay / Plaza Sing for entertainment or food purposes so there's no need to waste money spending it on transport. This was something that I really liked about the hotel. Next, let me talk about the cleanliness of the room[s]. The room we were given was super funky and it was a connecting room to another room? Me and my friend didn't think much about it at first though it did made us feel uneasy about it. There were crumbs all over the floor it made me uncomfortable walking around on bare feet. There were molds in the toilet and the phone wasn't working at all. Me and my friend didn't let it affect us since we were basically given what we have paid for. The room was super cold though no matter what temperature we tried to adjust, it just felt like we were living in Antarctica. The following day, we were having our brunch in the room when I noticed a small cockroach waltzing around the sidetable to which I decide that enough was enough. How many bugs might have been around the place that night while we were sleeping??? While I may have turned a blind eye on things like there being crumbs in the room, the aircon being at the lowest temperature no matter the setting, the phone not working AND another thing that I will be mentioning in the next paragraph, I simply cannot turn a blind eye to this specific incident. I asked to be given a new room and luckily, I'm glad that they did. The other room given was a LOT cleaner than the previous and it made me wonder just how long it has been since the previous room was cleaned? Let me also mention that the walls are thin since I was able to hear the TV from next door along with the screaming of children and conversations. There isnt much complaints about the second room as there was in the first. About the service of the staffs in the hotel..... Upon check-in, we were greeted immediately by the staffs there which felt nice at first. This security uncle started making small talk with us and initially it was nice. I thought it was nice of him to make us feel welcomed and didn't think much about it until after I checked out the hotel. Anyway, the thing I wanted to point out was that when we were heading up to our room, he asked us which room we were staying and I don't know if that is a norm for someone at the hotel to be asking me such question? I do admit that since it caught me off-guard , we told him the room we were staying in and he looked surprised, if not anything. When I asked him why he was surprised, he shrugs it off and said it was nothing... Why am I mentioning this? Me and my friend didn't think much of it initially and went ahead with our day. That night, by some stroke of luck, we found out that uncle security was staying in the room RIGHT NEXT TO US.... THAT'S IN THE OTHER CONNECTING ROOM. Is that even normal? Also, why wouldn't security uncle tell us he was staying next door? Or even, why did the hotel gave us a room thats connected to another room without telling us about it? It wasn't even mentioned in the option when we first chose that room. Otherwise, I would not have picked that option at all. The only good thing about this hotel is the location of the place. I don't think I will ever return to this hotel ever again because there were some questionable things that was going on in that place and just... No.

Apartment was great for dining in as the kitchen was fully equipped with pots, induction cooker, oven, microwave oven, fridge, utensils (including chopping board and dish soap). Only downside was that the hotel’s still undergoing renovation (mid-Jun) so it was a little noisy during the day. For those who drive, there’s no lift access to the hotel lobby as it’s undergoing renovation so you’ll have to manually carry your baggages up and down a few flight of stairs. Parking is chargeable at S$7.49/day, just remember to bring your cashcard to the check-in counter for registration.

Receptionist on first day was very nice. Aircon was amazing blankets were awesome, the tv worked though the toilet stank a bit and the room had lingering smell of cigarettes (I had booked a non-smoking room). Nice bed with nice pillows and they were nice to give us a room with windows after we requested. For sure will visit again.

The room was cozy and functional! Toilet was bigger than we expected. However, the room was not super clean as there were weird stains on the bed sheets and on the walls of the room. Staff was friendly. Location wise, we had to walk quite abit from the Rochor mrt. There is a 24hr restaurant nearby so we could get food easily.

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

The hotel is very close to Wenqing subway station, walk 5.6 minutes. The youth hostel is very small. It has a lot of capsule beds in one room, but the capsule room is well designed. It is very spacious to sleep alone. The closed door is your own private space. Bedding, lighting, safe, charging plug, usb, and mirror are all available in the capsule. The access to the card is safe, and the bathroom is clean. Although there are many people, this is still in place. With breakfast, it is simple cereal. And toast bread, coffee milk variety. The front desk attitude is very good, that is, one of the lights in my room is broken and cannot be turned off. The Indian brother first said that the light in each room could not be turned off. He lied. Actually, it was not. Later, he let him think of a solution. In short, the overall is a good hostel, you can choose this next time you go to Singapore, it is recommended ~~~~~~

I stay in this hotel the 2nd time. I stayed because I'm taking my pfizer vaccination at Raffles Medical Clinic which is located at Raffles City, which is beside the hotel. I know bout the side effects and I feel I needed a rest so I book this hotel. Everything from check in, room service, check out, was perfect. I did not ask for house keeping as I did not need anything to top up or make my bed. The room service food is excellent! Payment can be make directly upon delivery too. Poolside is a great place to chill and the air con is working very well. I requested for a Seaview room and it's done. It is also a pool view room. I'll definitely come back for my staycation again.

Because I need to apply for a visa, I stayed here for 18 days and stayed at other hotels for two nights. This is a co-living hotel, so there is no private bathroom, but in reality, my experience did not feel inconvenient, and I rarely encountered other customers . The traffic location is very good. It is opposite to Chinatown Food Street. When you go out, there is a traffic light. There is a Maxwell Food Center on the left. The food inside is affordable and delicious. I often go to China Street Food to finish my meal and then go to Hailan Panmian. Fried fish noodles. It is also very close to the Chinatown interchange station of the NE and DT subway lines. It is very convenient to go to Sentosa or Sands or Merlion. Auntie Cong, who is in charge of cleaning, is also super nice and enthusiastic, serious and responsible. Next time I go to Singapore, I would prefer to stay here. The decoration style is also very simple and fashionable, and some romantic, very suitable for young people. Sign-in and sign-out are also very convenient, simple and convenient. If you don’t speak English, it’s okay to live here. In short, five-star praise, highly recommended.

This is by far the best hotel that we have stayed in. All the staff in Barracks Hotel have a keen sense to details, which make our stay extremely comfortable and amazing. We have booked this stay to mark a special milestone in our lives. And thanks to JS, the coordination with the decoration team went without a hitch. Not forgetting the amazing coffee serves at the Living Room, and the staff there (especially Emily) makes everything better. We had a wonderful stay at Barracks Hotel and we certainty look forward to another refreshing getaway in the near further.

Arrived at the hotel more than 1 pm, the staff checked me in. The geographical location is superior. The hotel turns left and goes a few hundred meters to go to Fanglin Pasar. The laksa on Renlong store on the second floor is expensive. It costs 10 coins and it tastes good. The Fujian Bak Kut Teh on the 1st floor is very good. The 4 bowls of coins are good. The soup and ribs taste good, but the herbs taste a little heavier. Turn right at the hotel and turn right for more than ten minutes. There is the Maxwell Food Center on the street. Every day, Hainan Chicken Rice is inside. Unfortunately, the day I went there was not open. I switched to Xingxing Hainan Chicken Rice. I walked about twenty minutes from the hotel to Merlion Park, and only five minutes' walk to Ya Kun for breakfast and coconut toast. It was very convenient to use Google navigation. In the alley near the hotel, there are still some murals of the early Tang people living in Nanyang. You can take a look if you have time.

Well located, really nice staff for everything, including informations. Bed was comfortable, good shower, breakfast simple but ok. There is no parking lot, no extra bed, and the hotel does not have breakfast. The hotel commissions the small county liver skewers to make breakfast. Guests need to take the hotel room card to the hotel front desk to exchange breakfast vouchers and then go to the small county liver hotel for breakfast. Chicken, sausages, boiled eggs, canola, broccoli, watermelon pieces, toast, jam, instant coffee, mixed fruit juice. Breakfast is almost the same every day, and the taste is ok. However, the location of the hotel is very good, that is, the room is too small, only a large bed can be put down, no free water, only two bags of instant coffee, boiling water must be picked up in a room on the second floor of the hotel. It is not suitable for bringing children, and the sound insulation is not good. There are windows that cannot be opened.

Stayed here during my trip, booked a family room for 4 (2 adults and kids). I booked using goibibo and they have an option for free breakfast and Dinner or lunch. What is good: at the center of little India, good number of Indian hotels and restaurants, staff's behavior / support is also good. Wifi Works with reasonable speed, they did provide an early check in. Cons: The rooms are small ( i guess this applies for most of the Singapore hotels), AC is slow (especially it takes lot of time to cool , though it works ), No room service provided. The hotel is very small may be around 12 - 15 rooms, so don't expect any extras. Bad: The hotel as such doesn't have a restaurant, they provide coupon (worth SGD 3) that can be redeemed for neighboring Hotel, where for dinner, they don't have VEG Option and break fast u won't get much items other than either dosa / parota with tea / coffee. Its quite misleading to say free breakfast / dinner. Rooms can be maintained well, rooms are so small that you really can't have much space to walk as well. Recommendation: Overall its an average hotel, in prime location near Little india.

Was upgraded to club room and the staff prepared a sweet surprise for our anniversary, which I did not expect. Thanks a lot! Gym was great as you have to pre book it, but you get the entire space to yourself. The hotel could open more treadmills since it's a private booking. A qualm is that cause we were upgraded to club room, we were not able to use the infinity pool, which honestly was a huge disappointment. I feel that the hotel could exercise some flexibility here as we don't see the pool being used much (we can see the pool directly from our room), aside from peak hours in the evening. There are plenty of areas to lounge in the hotel. Also, plenty of food options around the area so it was a very enjoyable stay, other than the pool situation. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.

The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

Great service and hospitality! Went there with my parents as a getaway and was greeted with a beautiful room and large balcony. Extra bed has been set up and we love the complimentary chocolates and wine. Only setback for the whole trip was the water pipes - somehow, the water turns cloudy every time we turn on the taps at the sink, and this made it difficult for us to even use the tea-making facilities. We got the housekeeping team to look into it but the only advice they could really give was that it's the pipes, let the water run before consuming it - we weren't comfortable with the whole idea and so gave out on it. Other than this, room service was good as well. Would definitely return in the near future for our staycation again, hopefully with fixed pipes!

Unimpressive breakfast not really worth it (additonal $30 for room rate inclusive of bf for 2) unless for convenience. Bed is comfortable and room is clean. Love their bathrobes and slippers. The rainforest shower is terrible. Pressure is low and some holes were stuck. I used the handheld shower instead.
