Room is spacious and clean. Easy checkin and checkout. Nicloe at reception is super friendly and helpful. But there is a guy is so mean (didnt get his name, probably Aryvu). Even I was queued next but he just went served other customers and told me to wait. I complained to him and he just ignored me. I was so upset. Good value. Within 10mis walk from town center and shops. Changed 3 different rooms but still has problem with air-conditioning. Lucky the window can be opened a bit. I had issue with the shower head (no host). But may be just my own problem since I am not tall enough with such low water pressure.

I recently stayed at Elizabeth House Hotel in Southampton and had a very pleasant experience. The building has a charming, traditional feel with well-maintained interiors that give it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed, which really added to the overall experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with all the essential amenities. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well each night. The breakfast was another highlight – freshly cooked and served with a smile. There was a good variety of hot and cold options, and everything tasted great. The location is convenient – just a short drive from the city centre and the cruise terminal, with free parking on-site, which was a big bonus. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some parts of the decor could use a bit of modernizing, and the bathroom in our room was slightly dated. However, everything worked well, and it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Would definitely recommend Elizabeth House Hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay in Southampton!

Honestly, I have been to many hotels around Birmingham and London, and I also work at multiple hotels as security. I have seen how they are from inside and outside, but trust me, this five-star hotel truly won my heart. The moment I entered, it gave me an old-fashioned feeling. The furniture was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The ability to play YouTube and watch movies added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient. Opposite the hotel, there are many food shops, and we went around 7:30 PM for food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. McDonald’s is just two minutes away, and a beautiful beach side is within a five-minute reach. The combination of luxurious accommodation and strategic location makes this hotel an absolute gem. Overall, my experience was extraordinary. The five-star hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I’m definitely booking this hotel again in the future. If anyone is interested in a truly remarkable hotel experience that combines classic charm, modern amenities, and a perfect location, I highly recommend visiting and seeing this exceptional hotel for yourself. When you walk into this hotel you are welcomed by friendly reception staff in a grand lobby which smells divine. There is iced fruity water and fruit available. I booked a balcony room which was very spacious although a little worn around the edges. The bed was large and comfortable but the pillows were not good and could do with replacing. There was a large TV with multiple channels and tea and coffee facilities. There was a dressing table with poor lighting but decent mirrors, spacious wardrobe and area for dressing and shelf for suitcase. The bathroom was large with toilet and also bidet, a regular sized bath but very small shower. The water didn’t run away too well in the shower tray so I ended up with several inches of water in the tray. There was hand wash and lotion available. The balcony was more like a ledge and was not not wide enough to even have a chair outside but it was very pleasant with the door open and the sun shining through in the evening. It was nice to stand on the ledge and watch the cruise ships come in and out. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and upgraded me to free parking for the two days that I stayed which was great. I didn’t eat in the hotel as there are numerous cafes and restaurants in the area. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

The check in process was very easy, just took us some time to find the place because we thought it is separated from the pub but the reception is actually right in it so just walk straight in! Room was very cozy and equipped, very thoughtful to provide us with all the basic amenities plus additional items such as water, beer, milk, chocolate, coffee for coffee machine and even a postcard! Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was also really amazing - you get to choose a main and a drink from their breakfast menu on top of a mini buffet spread that offered some really good pastries, salamis, cheese and more, so be sure to leave some extra time in the morning to enjoy it! However, there was a club opposite the place that was opened slightly pass midnight when we were there and if you're a light sleeper be sure to pack some ear plugs to go to sleep early. One of the corners of the wall also had a slight mold issue because the condensation from the bathroom must have caused that in the long run but it shouldn't be a huge concern though it will be nice if that gets fixed!

When I booked, I saw the route closest to the school, but the airport bus went down and we carried the luggage for more than half an hour. If there is no baggage for about 15-20 minutes, the bus can take several stops. Pure English breakfast, breaded omelette bacon ham and potatoes, as well as some side dishes and small West Point, fruit milk cereal tea bags and so on are simple and clean, in short to meet the demand. Parking is available at the hotel entrance. There is no elevator in the three-storey building. Narrow stairs, on the day of check-in, a waiter at the front desk was very nice, helped us carry the luggage upstairs, because I came to study so I brought a lot of luggage. On the day of check-out, only one waiter was busy at the front desk, so our mother and daughter It’s really a shame for the two to move down from the third floor. It is suitable for children with a quiet night and the rooms are air conditioned.

This is probably one of the best hotels in the area. As it is newly built, the facilities are relatively new. The breakfast is quite rich by British standards. Although the location is not in the city center, parking is convenient. It is really good by local standards. It is just so-so by world standards. As I was not travelling by car, the hotel was a bit far from the Southampton railway station. The bus passing by the hotel only ran once an hour, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the decoration of the hotel completely met my requirements. It was a very historic British building with a swimming pool. Breakfast was served in an old British space, which was a very refreshing start to a new day.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Feels like you're well outside Southampton but are only 15 mins away. (Daughter in Uni there) Room was nice, we had exec but this isn't worth it to me. It only gives you a better coffee machine and we weren't in the room enough to use it. Save the £20. No lifts so cases up to the third floor was a bit of a pain. If you're waiting for a ferry and have lots of cases then this could be an issue. We saw a few people struggle with this. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. We didn't eat there in the evening, burgers and chips sort of menu but the nearby pub, Chilworth Arms was really good. The pool is great, small (16m) but very nice with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Towels provided. Staff very friendly. Pool surrounding has quite slippery tiles though. Leisure facility is a bit away from the hotel, only 300 hundred meters from the hotel front but enough to need an umbrella if raining. All in all, a good value pleasant hotel. Much cheaper than Leonardo's in Soton and still close to Uni etc.

This facility was a surprise in many ways. Across from the front of the hotel is a lovely little park. The check-in was easy (I could have even done an online check-in). The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was a studio apartment, nicely furnighed. There was a sink, hotplate, micro, and even a dishwasher which was unexpected.  I explored the surrounding neighborhood in several directions and found many places of interest. Some were historical, some were interesting ting eating & drinking venues It was not a long walk to the West Quay Mall for shopping or to the SeaCity museum.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
