One of the reasons why I stayed here this time was because the hotel is located in the city center, which is a very satisfying place for me. When I arrived, I found that it looked like a very old hotel. This makes it look dirty and worn. The room can only be said to be average, the shower is working well. I think this has something to do with the shower facilities that other tourists are using, and it is affecting each other. Of course, I think it should be cleaner here too. You can see that the elevator is dirty. Now that the outside of the hotel is scaffolding, they are renovating the hotel, so there should be a major improvement after this. There is an oblique crack on the wall of my room, and I hope that later this year, my floor will be renovated and these problems can be solved. By the way, I really think they need to install double glass, so as to avoid many drunkards from making noise outside in the middle of the night. The variety of breakfast provided by the hotel is very rich, you can choose at will.

The hotel is located in the city center, not to mention the convenience. Breakfast is like that, all hotels in the UK are almost the same, and eating for a week is definitely vomiting. The facilities in the room are very traditional, just like 20 years ago, it feels very warm and the quality is good. There is no USB port, and it is not troublesome to find a conversion plug at the front desk.

The location of the hotel is very good, only ten minutes from the centre of Victoria in the city centre. The rooms are large, air conditioned, and the beds are very comfortable. Cookies and tea coffee are provided daily, mineral water, slippers and toothbrush are not provided. Wifi is very powerful, there is a hot water bottle, stay on the first day, put a hotel logo on the sheets, probably telling you that it is a new linen. Just the door card is not strong, and it will be updated to the front desk once.

Never had a problem with a good old Travelodge before, but this one is definitely one to dodge! Our rooms: (We were a group so had several) To call the rooms 'tired' would be a grave understatement. The carpet was so worn and rippled it was an actual trip hazard. The sealant around the shower tray was black and the shower head barely attached to the wall. The shower curtain wasn't long or close enough to hang over the shower tray so pouring water all over the floor was completely unavoidable. The beds were some of the hardest I've ever experienced and partnered with the lumpiest pillows you have ever seen. Finally the double window situation meant that proper ventilation was impossible, the room was stuffy and it was only 16 degrees outside! (The double windows didn't help with noise either, it was so loud until about 3am). The rest of the hotel feels equally as tired, and the reception/bar area is absolutely tiny for a large hotel. Also, the lifts are terrifying. We had one stop on us randomly between floors twice during our 2 day stay. To end on something positive, the staff were polite enough and the location is perfect for access to the city centre.

The hotel is next to the train station, and it takes only about five minutes to get out of the train station. It is very convenient. The environment of the hotel is also good, the size of the triple room is OK, and the three people live just fine.

The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located and the service was really good. Sadly however, the room we booked was specifically a twin which was not in anyway suitable for our needs and situation. We booked the hotel at an expensive rate due to all of the pre-mentioned factors and were saddened by the room layout, size and the fact that it was not, in my opinion, a true twin. Basically it was two single beds pushed together (with no gap). The room was also too small to address this layout. In addition, when I raised the poor twin room with reception I was advised that it was because they are a 'boutique' hotel. I was a tad taken aback given I was not questioning the style of the hotel or location, but, the practicality of the room. Picture attached so please make your own mind up before you book a twin. Overall, service good, location perfect, decor quite nice, room size and layout extremely poor.

The business in the beginning of the school season is so good that it is impossible to book a room for several consecutive nights, and only a few orders can be connected. The facilities are also modern, trendy and new, and are more pleasing in such a beautiful campus environment.

We used a buy a gift voucher, a Christmas present to stay here. Booking was through the voucher website, no problem at all, received a confirmation email from the hotel, as well as buy a gift. We arrived at the hotel, large car park and a check in, lobby area straight through the entrance doors. The pub/grill was to the left and the Starbucks cafe to the right. We needed a bit of help to check in as the automated system wants to take payment, which didn't apply to us. We went to our room, it was clean, large and spacious, nice big bed, large flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, nice clean bathroom. Everything was good. We had a meal in the Pub/grill that was good. Breakfast both days too, which was plentiful and a good choice of hot and cold food. The Hotel also has a large gym and swimming pool, it's open to members and the hotel user's I think that in some cases it's a chargeable extra as is the car park. The car park was free for 4 hours then free after 5pm on Friday, through the weekend.

We stayed here for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary celebration,it was our second stay at this hotel and everything was lovely, although we encounter a few minor issues. These were brought to the attention of Sebastien, the operations manager who kindly offered us a discount and upgrade on our next stay. We thought it would be nice to stay again in June, so as requested by Sebastien I wrote to give him dates for our upcoming stay, I didn’t get a reply so I re wrote, again no reply, I was very disappointed by this lack of response, it will not put me off staying there again but I will go through the normal booking method.

I was apprehensive as the reviews weren't the best. However I found them to be harsh. I booked a deluxe double apartment with balcony for 2 nights. Bare in mind this is a basic 3 star hotel. Slightly overpriced but I think that's because I booked the Sat night before valentines day and at any other time would be cheaper. PROS Great location in student area, 12 mins walk/5 mins cab into city centre. Friendly staff Clean bathroom Comfortable bed Balcony with excellent views Microwave, kettle, mini cooler fridge Hairdryer Spoons/knives/cups/glasses Tea, coffee, milk, toilet roll & hair/shower gel Lift CONS Tired: chips to paintwork, carpet worn in places TV signal temperamental Clothing rail but no coat hangers No forks/plates/bowls Balcony door got stuck and wouldn't open Cafe & gym not open I would stay again! :-)

Nice hotel. Located close to Nottingham Castle and good restaurants. The room was nice too. The hotel is eclectic. It was our first night in the UK and we were exhausted or we would have drinks in the bar which looked like a cozy library. Parking is confusing as you must park in garage next door. They do validate though.
