|12.87km from city centerNice hotel room. Several issues: I've stayed here 2 times and there is never hot water in the shower. The hotel listing always says the stay includes breakfast. This is not accurate. The hotel does not have breakfast. The hotel room this time had dirty washcloths in the bathroom. The internet is not reliable and only works for a very short time. I have had to use my own each time which is a concern. Also, the hotel room is accessed overhead as is the case with all hotel rooms. This time the violation of privacy had at least 10 people viewing me in my room, the shower, etc. The comments were disturbing to my stay.

Great location close to the airport (they offer a free shuttle) and to various restaurants as well as shopping places. Even a Walmart is across the road.
Surprisingly quiet (good noise insulation) and in the room I had on the 4th floor the air-conditioning was very quiet too.
Large rooms with comfy beds. Nice bathroom. Renovated. Great price.
Served breakfast due to COVID. Usual choices. Nice staff.
Definitely highly recommended. I will be back. Exceptional value.

|7.81km from city centerStayed a few days this week and “worked” from the room, which was difficult to do because it was so loud. The windows are very old and do not provide any sound proofing. This made conducting virtual meetings a challenge. Travel a lot for work and would not stay here again. The fan in the bathroom, which comes on when you turn the light, was excessively loud and aggravating. Overall, besides the lobby the entire hotel needs an update. Did not eat the breakfast, but my significant other said it was the only redeeming quality. *Our first night I woke up to what sounded like gun fire around 2:00 am. Got up and looked outside to see adults and very young children congregated in the parking lot near the front lobby. Then sirens … Not a good experience. Stay at the new Element by Westin/Marriott. It is in the same parking lot and we stayed there as well this week. It was fantastic !

|12.88km from city centerWith the close proximity to the airport and the courtesy shuttle you can’t beat this place for the customer service and room rates and complimentary breakfast. Check in was fast and the room was spacious and clean. They do have a small restaurant onsite called “the Landing” that opens at 3:00. They offer a free beer and wine which is nice but the food is pretty basic but if you’re hungry it will do. I would suggest walking a block to the Westin and going to the “Byrn” restaurant & bar since it had great food and atmosphere. Overall great place to stay for the price.

|13.68km from city centerI have stayed here several times when traveling through the DFW airport and have never had any serious problems. Front desk personnel has always been professional but sometimes (when extremely busy) they are a bit frazzled. Given the large numbers of people they deal with and the size of the hotel, this is to be expected. The shuttle has always been reliable but sometimes very crowded and running late. Never have I experienced the problems that others have described. Rooms were always clean, service requests were prompt. The gym is pretty good but not exceptional for this size hotel. For some reason on our last trip, the indoor pool was open but the outdoor pool was closed to swimming despite the temperatures bing in the 90s. We were at the hotel for three days but there was never an explanation as to why. However, the chairs and tables that were poolside were available.

The hotel is very close to the airport and it takes almost 10 minutes to reach the airport. Besides breakfast, you can make your own waffles, which is still delicious. In the morning, the hotel departs on time to the airport class. It is convenient to wait in the lobby in advance.

I didn’t hear the specific bus ride for the first time. I didn’t connect after the second call. I didn’t connect for 4 times. Finally, I helped me through Ctrip’s manual customer service. I only know where the shuttle bus is. Thank you very much Ctrip customer service! I have to pay a deposit of dozens of knives every night, pre-authorize the card, 8.31 check-in 9.1 check-out, 9.4 deposit has not been returned to me, so it is not clear how long it will be returned. The rooms are in good condition. American hotels do not have slippers and toothpaste toothbrushes. You need to bring your own. The room you live in may be right next to an air-conditioned machine, and there is a roar in one night.

The hotel is older and in a location that requires a car to get to pretty much any restaurant. Bed was ok but older style pillow mattresses Limited amenities including no hand lotion or hair dryer. I can’t remember the last hotel I stayed without a hair dryer? Front desk was kind enough to find me one but when taking out of the bag it was dirty and gross. Noticed a few sugar ants on the desk and table each day. I know some hotels aren’t doing daily cleaning but was never informed this hotel was doing this so was disappointed when I returned after a long day to find no service to the room. The ants enjoyed the empty cup with some residual juice. I’m pretty sure the heat /AC would get confused as I swear a few times it went from heat to A/C just trying to keep the room the temp I set. Breakfast not included and the limited selection seemed expensive given the overall quality of the hotel. I would not stay here again.

They gave us a quiet room which we requested which was nice. Room was clean and comfortable, all appliances worked in room. Bath was a bit small but it worked, nice hot shower with good pressure for rinsing hair. The suite is nice as there is a couch to sit on and a coffee table to sit and relax for a bit before heading to bed. A hotel shuttle would be nice to add.

There were bugs crawling all over the a/c unit and all around the bath tub. My wife and kid refused to spend the night so I returned the room and booked at Fairfield down the street. The receptionist at motel 6 said he could not process a refund because we were already 20 minutes past check in and told me to call Expedia to have them handle the refund request. Expedia tells me they have to get a hotel manager to approve a refund and have not been able to get ahold of a manager at that location. I decided to call Motel 6 to speak to a manager and every time I get a response, ”the manager has not shown up for the day yet” or ”the manager has just left”.

The manager Heidi helped me with my kids during breakfast and helped served us. She also helped take our luggage to our car when we left. She didn’t have to do that at all but she went above and beyond helping out, as a single mother she really helped me with the stress of taking care of 3 young kids. This hotel breakfast is also a wide variety of things I absolutely love it, kids ate everything. Also the front desk is very friendly and makes you feel as if she knows you well. I practically felt like family here. The hotel rooms are also very clean you can smell the clean fresh scent as soon as you walk in your room. Over all of definitely recommend this hotel for a nice and friendly visit for an amazing price too. Well done wingate!

She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fabulous! Answered every question, was warm and attentive, and made every provision necessary so me and my family were comfortable. Beyond that my room within itself was spacious and my stay was comfortable. There were a few minor hiccups towards the end of the night (not sure who they have working night shift, they were not the kindest) but all in all it was a pleasant experience.

Our TV in the living room was not working. Called the front desk they said maintenance would be right over. Hours later and many phone calls to the front desk, come to find out there was NO maintenance on sight that day. The other huge issue was the get our room cleaned. We had asked to have our room cleaned very other day. We would let the front desk know when we would be out of the room so they could clean. EVERY time we came back from being out of the room for several hours (3-5 hours), our room was never done. One time they only cleaned 1/2 our room. The other half was left dirty. So we had to call them back in to finish cleaning. It was a mess. The pool was great except no lounge chairs. The breakfast was good. Had a good verity and had alternative milk which was awesome. The price was reasonable. We are on fence if we will come back or not.

|7.16km from city centerThis review comes from a hospitality property owner/operator who has seen both sides of the guest/management experience. We booked a one night stay at this property prior to flying out of DFW the next morning. When we arrived, the room we had requested through Hiltons website was having repairs to the cable tv so we accepted a different room. The room seemed chilly-the outdoor temps were in the 40s. We adjusted the thermostat with no results. After giving the system an hour to adjust, we called the front desk. They sent a maintenance man to check. His instruments showed a temp of 67 degrees, however a little banging around, he said he thought it was working and left. Nothing changed. We turned the thermostat to 80 degrees-the highest it would go-but magically the room temp stayed at exactly 67 degrees. We went down to the front desk and asked to be moved. The clerk went to the back for a few minutes and came back to tell us they were full and had no other rooms available. But he was sending maintenance back up to check on it. Oh—and they would send a couple of blankets. We decided to visit the managers reception while maintenance worked in our room. While there, we noticed several groups of men coming in together. All were in work clothes and sweatshirts. The atrium was even chillier than our room so we left to go back upstairs. We ordered room service which was a very pleasant experience and excellent service. When it was delivered, we commented about how chilly the hotel is and she said, “yes, the guys complain when we turn up the heat”. Bottom line? This hotel caters to corporate contract guests and has their systems governed to their desires with no leeway for individual room controls. There were other maintenance issues not mentioned here. Second conclusion? They were not full as I checked availability and they had vacancies. Another room would not have solved our problem since all systems must be governed to the hotels parameters. So, if you choose to stay here, ask for the contract price because that’s the service you will get.
