It's very good. Luxury but not particularly luxurious and extravagant, not bad. Britain's oldest luxury hotel. There are many groundbreaking facilities and services. For example, the first elevator, the separate restroom - the former hotel was a public restroom, and even earlier it was a shop, a bunch of people sleeping together. Not only have innovations in these hardware and software, Savoy has changed some of the social laws that should be. The first big manager was Caesar · Liz, the founder of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, Caesar · Liz felt that the UK was a bit conservative after working at the Savoy Hotel for 9 years, so I went back to Paris to create a beautiful Hotel. What is amazing is that there are many Chinese elements here, especially the restaurants. The wallpapers are Chinese patterns, and many Chinese related paintings are hung on the walls. The gift shop also hangs a portrait of Qianlong. Many hotel breakfasts in the UK are not buffet meals, and Savoy is not a buffet. But the breakfast tastes good~ I ordered something in the restaurant at night, two cups for two people, and a small cake and a stack of mixed nuts, only 11 pounds~ cheaper than the top hotels in China~ Because my book was published just a few years ago, the title of the book "Take the leaves to pick flowers", brought a copy to the UK. Welcome everyone to buy (Jingdong and Dangdang), definitely worth reading ~ together poetry and distant ~ Https:// Http://

Very lucky to upgrade the room! Love the decoration style, the kitchenette is lovely. The toilets are a bit small but the prices are quite right; the location is great, right in the city center; the staff are very welcoming.

From the moment that we first contacted The Resident Hotel, the staff there could not do enough to make sure that our stay was a good one and memorable for all the right reasons. The room was clean, spacious, tidy and well equipped. The location, just off The Strand and literally 2 minutes walk from the theatre where we had tickets to watch a show (The Vaudeville), was perfect. On arrival the room had been thoughtfully decorated and a little gift (chocolates) provided for my wife whose birthday it was. When we needed a restaurant in the evening (the one I thought we would visit was booked up, my fault), the extremely helpful lady on the desk rang round to find a table at another good restaurant. There is no restaurant at the hotel but it is not needed as there are so many good ones nearby. For breakfast we had to order the evening before, but it arrived spot on the time we’d requested to our room, exactly as ordered and at a discount given to guests of The Resident. We just stayed the one night, but there was no problem at all in leaving baggage in their safe keeping after we checked our, so that we didn’t have to cart them round London while we explored before taking the train home. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly and thoughtful service given by all staff while we were there. The room was spotlessly clean and every request was answered positively. We’ll definitely be back, the next time we need a hotel in London. Thank you Patricia and team for exceeding all our expectations on this special occasion.

The location is very good and the design is great. My double room, the front desk said that it was not big enough to bring the children, so I upgraded the extra bed. When I went in, I was shocked that the room was very big and the bed was big enough for the children. Why do you have to have an extra bed? . . Asked if there is a package for breakfast, the answer is vague, it seems to be a single point, so I have no choice. The baggage was transported a little slow, and one of the elevators in the middle was broken and it was not repaired. There are other people's consumption and signature on the checkout bill, and I wrote my room number. I don't think the hotel has checked it carefully. So if I have 100 points, I think the designer can get 70 points. The service is polite and lengthy. Hope can be improved, after all, the price is high.

All I can say is that there is nothing but a falsehood. After staying for four nights, I didn't clean the room two days in the morning and communicated with the Ctrip housekeeper. The housekeeper dealt with it in time. The inexplicable credit card was swiped $ 20 on the third morning. There was blood on the sheets the last night. In short, the service attitude is poor and will never stay again. Ctrip housekeeper is very good, like one. However, the hotel is extremely poor.

I stayed for a month at the Strand Continental and really enjoyed my stay. The six-bed dorm was spacious and I actually had a single bed which was a delight for a dorm. The continental breakfast each morning is something to look forward to and is a lovely touch considering the budget price for the accomodation. The communal areas are very relaxing! Great place to read/write or meet people. The staff are very friendly and approachable, and had nice conversations with all. I would recommend given the budget and the location - very close to St. James Park & other attractions! It's a nice taste of India in modern day London!!☘️😄

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, with easy access to central London. The room is a bit small and the bed was squeaky.
