Great hotel, beyond expectations, the entire hotel is a tropical small forest park, very beautiful. The butler service is invincible, but the restaurant service is average. The hotel has its own private access to the X'Caret Park next door (there is a private artificial canal in the lobby, which is accessible by boat). It is very convenient to play half a return to the seaside restaurant for a free meal and then enter the park. Food is ok (all inclusive hotels are not too high expectations). The hotel is very large, so there are golf shuttle buses to various points. There are all kinds of wild animals in the garden. The monkeys climbed directly to the balcony of our room and got close contact with them. Of course, they also saw other snakes, deer, lizards and so on. The rooms are fully equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The main course of the squid in the Chinese restaurant is delicious, and it is ordered. The beach is a bit poor, but it doesn't affect the overall experience, because there are too many interesting points, and the courtyard itself has a mini Mayan ruins.

My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). I recommend Q more than X, which is more popular with Chinese people, has better hardware facilities, and better scenery. environment: Hotel X is a five-star hotel that Chinese people are familiar with. It has large rooms, new facilities, and hardware. The beach is very distinctive, it feels like an Avatar floating mountain. Most of the beach is reef, a short stretch of sand, and the water quality is super good. X is the garden and Q is the jungle. Catering Services: If I only stayed at the X hotel, I might think it was fine, but unfortunately I stayed at the Q hotel. In contrast, Q Hotel has a feeling of being at home, the waiters are more happy and easy-going, the drinks are open for drinking, the buffet is fresh and varied, and there is basically no need to wait for a table. You can eat big lobster and oysters on Christmas Day, without being stingy at all. In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! one of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

I have stayed in some top hotels. This is undoubtedly the overseas hotel with the best value for money and the best service I have ever stayed in. It includes free park tickets. Other hotels pick up from the airport by shuttle bus or the like. This one is a Model Every employee around the clock is enthusiastic and serious. They also speak the best English among the Ten Days Inn in Mexico.

The good- staff seems to clean it. Pool nice. The not so good- cold showers, food, noise level from highway. Dates of visit- 12/25-12/30. They don’t have blankets on the bed, only sheets and when I asked for a blanket they said they don’t have them. They didn’t have enough beach towels for our family any day we were there and you are expected to keep the same sandy wet towel for your entire stay. We were told to hang them up to dry. I cut my foot on accident and asked for a bandaid and they didn’t even have one. They have no hot water. I got three rooms and none of had hot water. They told me to let the water run for about 20 minutes each time, but in never got beyond warm and wasted immense amounts of water. The room was cute. The bed not comfortable. The main thing I didn’t like was the air conditioner is either on or off. It doesn’t have like a normal setting that runs and shuts off and then turns on. It’s either on or off, running all night and condensing dripping into a puddle on the night stand and bed area. It is close to xplor which is why I chose it, but if you want to go to town the taxi is spotty at best. It kinda sits alone in the side of the road. I felt safe there and allowed my teen kids to get two rooms and didn’t worry about their safety, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend due to no hot water, blankets, towels, and terrible food.

Staying at Iberostar for the second time, never disappointed! I like their diving shop the most. The arrangement is reasonable, the price is favorable, and there is a 20% discount for advance booking. The restaurant is all-inclusive, brunch is a buffet, and there are many restaurants to choose from for dinner, which requires advance reservation. Suitable for travelers who can travel on their own with good English!

Just came back from week away at El Dorado SeaSide Suites. Cons : Resort is big need shuttles to get around especially when its hot. Bartenders at Gucamyas in the evening do not engage or converse with you. Swimout suite should be heated would be used more. Beach on suites side sucks. Reservations can only be made at 2 al a cartes. Pros: Beach on Palms side beautiful. Bali beds on Palms side everywhere. Beach grill has great food options. SeaSide breakfast buffet amazing fresh juice bar. Amazing food at all the restaurants the buffet ****** we only tried it once. 4 free excursions Check out Maroma Beach. Foam party was alot of fun!! We had private transfer was supposed to be shared i guess we got LUCKY!!! Can have a shower at spa if your flight is late. Loved the fact it was adults only !!! Missing the espresso martinins and Mimosas!!!! Wish the resort had a bit more night life!!!! the entertainment team needs to do better at night!

Just returned from our 3rd stay @ Hotel Akumal Caribe ~ had a wonderful time. Loved our ground floor (deluxe kitchenette) room (406) just steps away from the pool & beach. Nothing better than waking up to the birds singing & enjoying a cup of coffee on our patio. You know your day is going to be a good one, when Juan (goundskeeper) greets you with a ”Hola, Buenos Dias” as he starts his day. But, then ALL the people employed @ this property are super friendly & make you feel like family each & everyday. Our room was cleaned by a very nice gentleman (forgot to get his name) always with a smile & a ”hope you are having a nice visit.” We had all our meals down by the Lolha ~ excellent food/drinks/service!! Big ups to Oscar, Willy, Rafael, Alberto, Jordy & the rest of the crew. Again, always service with a smile. Hotel Akumal Caribe & The Lolha are a perfect example of how a property/restaurant should be run & I'm sure other properties could learn a valuable lesson from them. Until next year (already have my 2024 calendar out) wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & all the very best in the New Year. Patricia & Bob
