My second trip to Yanagawa was just as wonderful as the first. I enjoyed the hotel's outdoor hot spring twice, once in the morning and once in the evening, and had it all to myself both times. My skin felt incredibly smooth afterwards. Both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety and tasted delicious. Transportation was also quite convenient, with a bus stop right outside the hotel providing direct service to Yanagawa Station. The only minor navigational confusion we had upon arrival was that the bus stop for getting to the hotel was actually near the tourist information center, but our navigation app guided us to alight on the opposite side of Yanagawa Station.

Hygiene: The room is large and clean, obviously newly renovated Environment: There are not many rooms in the hotel, very quiet and comfortable, the courtyard is especially great! Especially at night when there are not many people, you can stay in a daze for a long time! Service: The hotel staff is very polite, the hotel has free drinks in the morning and evening, which can be taken at will and brought back to the room Facilities: The hotel is in the center of Yanagawa, Tachibana Mansion is very good, and the hotel does not have a hot spring♨️ In short, it is worthy of being the home of the Lord of Yanagawa!

I came here because of Ni Ni's movie ”Long Confession”. I really like it. It's not big but very comfortable. It's very suitable for spring and autumn. This hostel has a youth hostel feel and the rooms are clean. Public bathrooms, public restrooms. You can order breakfast for a fee and it tastes good. This is also where the crew of The Long Confession rested, drank tea, and put on makeup during filming. Turn left at the intersection and you will find the river where the three of them walked and took Ah Chuan on their bicycles in the early winter. After a few steps and across the bridge, there is the Grotto bar where Ah Chuan sang. Many scenes were shot in this area. The hostess of the hotel knows the filming location very well and can rent a bicycle from the hotel to explore it. I found almost all the shooting locations. Thank you to the lady boss. It was a pleasure to communicate.

The Room with Japanese Garden located on Ground floor overlooking a magnificent indoor well curated and groomed Japanese Garden from the tatami floored Living room area and balcony seating area where guests can relax and enjoy with a peaceful mind. At nite they even have flood lights! The room is spacious in 3 pax unit. Public bath is nice and clean but close so early at 9PM!! The breakfast was decently delicious and simple. Staff serving breakfast was kind and friendly. The front desk staffs were nice and check out time is strictly 10AM and any extra quarter or half hour will be charged accordingly!! That’s sad…

Beautiful ryokan. Authentic, relaxed and well-kept. Beautiful garden, located directly on a canal. A stone's throw from a quiet and beautiful shrine and the jetty for the traditional boats. The landlady speaks a little English and is very helpful. We had a large room on the top floor with a view of the canal. Everything is new, large and comfortable. For one or two nights a perfect place for a traditional Japanese overnight stay including Japanese breakfast. Great value for money. A great place off the beaten track. We would come again. Arigato Gozai masu.

We stayed at the renovated rooms. It’s clean and fully equipped. Was a very good stay. Lady from front desk was very kind and helpful during checkin too. Hotel parking is 1000yen from checkin till 3pm the next day, basically 24hrs since checkin is at 3pm too, and you can head out and come back to re-park again with no additional fees. Room had a nice view, full horizontal wall to wall width kind of big windows. There were also several pilots who checked in, it seems to be a hotel that airlines use. Breakfast was a takeaway bag of 2 bread+1 pastry that you can heat up at the lobby lounge. All 3 bread/pastry were tasty. Lounge had drinks for guests too. We really enjoyed the stay, it is near to the famous unagi restaurant that locals frequent, right there at the river boat trip, has nice yakiniku near by too. Glad we didnt give it up based on reviews below. Our experience is quite different, and the hotel deserves its praise.

This Japanese trip can experience this traditional home-style hard-run hotel is very good. It is 2 minutes away from the Nishiro Nakajima Station. There is only one guest in the snow on the day of arrival. The proprietress is kind and friendly and speaks good English. Every day I prepare different rich breakfast and dinner. Also the bath can be used alone, I slept well after two consecutive nights of soaking, the hotel is a bit old but all the guests used the place is clean and reassuring. ￥15000 Stayed for two nights with breakfast and dinner in the bathroom, and it was the price of Friday and six nights, I will stay again. There is a delicious salmon rice 14 minutes walk nearby, and there is a fish shop that can cook seafood next to 7-11 for 3 minutes. *The only thing to wake up is that it is inconvenient to carry large luggage. Because the West Railway Nakajima Station has to take the stairs, the hotel also needs to take the stairs, but I am also carrying a 28-inch suitcase.
