This was my first solo trip to China, visiting Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Wuzhen. The hotel room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The location is excellent — conveniently close to the metro station and within walking distance of several sightseeing spots. The front desk service was wonderful. A special thank you to the staff member 欧杨, who patiently answered all my questions about transportation in Shanghai. He provided clear directions and detailed information on how to use public transport to get around. He even helped me check travel information for Hangzhou and Wuzhen without fail. Helped carry my luggage to the main street and wait for the taxi when I leave. I truly appreciate his kind assistance — it made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable!

Great location in Yu Garden area, near metro station and lots of food nearby. Received complimentary upgrade to a more spacious Deluxe Room, I think it was because the hotel is currently going through renovations, and there was a sign at the lobby saying there is expected noise from renovation throughout the day. Thankfully there was no noise duing night time, so it did not affect my sleep. Breakfast buffet was decent, can be quite crowded. Room was clean, and the shower had great water pressure and temperature control. Staff at reception during check in was not the most friendly, but the housekeeping & restaurant staff were nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Sushi Light Luxury Hotel. The receptionists were all warm and welcoming upon our check in. They have a translating device so communication is not hard at all. Upon check in, they upgraded our room to a king size bed from our initial queen size reservation. From Pudong Airport, it took us about an hour of didi ride. We were dropped off at the main road, you'll see ChaPanda and several commercial establishments. From there, walk to around to the back of the building and you'll find the entrance and elevators that will lead you to the hotel. Reception is at the 4th floor. The room was spacious for our stay, with 3 carry on luggages and a stroller. Yu yuan was a few meters walk and we spent the first couple of days just walking atound the area. Yuyuan station exit 7 is across the road. F

I came to Shanghai for the marathon this time, and because it was close to the starting line, I chose the Angsana Shanghai on Ctrip. I never expected my stay at the Angsana Shanghai Bund to be so incredibly comfortable! The staff were super friendly throughout. When checking in, they patiently answered all our questions and even proactively helped us plan our sightseeing route for the Bund, City God Temple, and Yu Garden, showing their attentiveness in every detail. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable; it's just a short walk to the core area of the Bund, and getting to nearby attractions and subway stations is also very convenient. There's no stress at all for exploring, eating, and getting around. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai! If I come back for the marathon next year, I'll definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic! It's right across a small street from the subway exit, and Yuyuan Garden is directly opposite. You can easily take the subway to the 'Big Three' attractions, and the Bund is just a short walk away, offering stunning views. Even though I visited 7 years ago, Shanghai's development and charm still manage to awe me. Nanjing West Road, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Xintiandi – there's endless shopping and exploring. And the delicious Cakes and Hash pastries really won me over. The hotel room isn't small, and the shower pressure is excellent. However, the air conditioning seemed a bit off. It got colder during my stay, and the room was a bit chilly, with the heating barely making a difference. I hope the hotel staff can check it, as the weather is getting cooler, and future guests will likely need the heating.

I had an excellent stay at Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the Bund and close to transportation, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring Shanghai incredibly convenient. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and spotless. You can tell the hotel pays attention to detail, and it really elevated the overall experience. I had a room with terrace which i enjoyed very much. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to start the day right. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They were always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was offering local tips or helping with small requests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. Great location, great rooms, great food, and fantastic service. I would definitely stay here again! The room could have been a bit cleaner — there was still quite a bit of dust in some areas such as the blinds and furniture. The furniture also looked a little worn with some scratches here and there. However, the bed was very comfortable, the linens were clean, and the pillows were soft. The room itself was spacious, which was great for our family of four, and our kids really enjoyed it. The view from our room was beautiful — we could see the Oriental Pearl Tower right from the window. The breakfast was decent; we stayed for four nights, and the menu changed slightly every day, which kept it interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially Mr. Kim, who assisted us warmly during check-in and made everything smooth and pleasant. The location was excellent — it’s right next to the train station, making it very convenient to travel to places like Nanjing Road and other attractions around the city. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Shanghai. What impressed us the most was that we stayed on my wife’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely birthday cake — such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! Before we checked out, they even prepared a small box of treats as a farewell gift, which made our experience even more memorable.

Super convenient! The apartment is directly accessible by subway from Hongqiao Railway Station. We grabbed a late-night snack near Chenghuang Temple and arrived past 1 AM, but the host was incredibly welcoming and waited up for us. The entire self-service process, from check-in to check-out, was super efficient. The room was very clean, quiet, and offered a nice view outside the window. Location is superb. 1 minute to Yu Garden metro exit 1 and to Yu Garden. The accommodation looks like a serviced apartment building and is located on 5/F, the ground floor is a wholesale shopping centre. You can buy many souvenirs at much cheaper price than at tourist spots. But, I find that there are very limited eateries nearby. The room has a microwave, fridge, and a washing machine. Towels are disposable ones. No floor mats are provided even on the bathroom, I requested it and was provided one for the first night as the floor was still wet. The second day they cleaned up the room and the floor mat was taken and no new one provided. 😅 But still, Very nice overall 👍

The chairs in the living room are a bit old, the clothes drying rack is not sturdy, and the bathroom facilities are a bit old. There is no wardrobe in the astronaut room.

After quickly helping me check in, she introduced the hotel's facilities and equipment and sent me to the elevator. It was very considerate. After entering the room, I felt that the floor was not too high. They only had 13 floors at the highest. I lived on the eighth floor, but it was okay. It allowed me, a person with sleep disorders, to sleep well at night. I thought it would be noisy next to the road, but later I found that it was indeed very quiet when the windows were closed. There are few cars on this road. It is a very suitable place for living. It is comfortable. Their breakfast variety is a bit small. I stayed for two days and found that their vegetarian breakfast dishes did not change much. I hope they can improve it. Different dishes every day can satisfy us who have lived for many days. We stayed in the Monkie Kid themed room this time, and our child was immediately captivated by the Journey to the West elements. They couldn't wait to climb onto the bunk beds. The LEGO brick treasure hunt prize in the room was also very creative, and our child was thrilled. The room facilities were very complete and met all our needs. We booked a garden view room, which offered distant views of the park. The breakfast spread was rich and delicious, and the coffee was absolutely superb. Our child loved the added candy section, and there were even LEGO character photo opportunities at the restaurant entrance. The indoor and outdoor playgrounds in the hotel's first-floor lobby were also very appealing to younger children, with an entire LEGO wall and various engaging activities. Even if we didn't go to the park on the day of check-in, there was plenty to enjoy. P.S. On the second day of our stay, we could enter the park from the hotel's exclusive entrance at 8:30 AM, while individual visitors entered at 10 AM, allowing us to enjoy the rides before the crowds. Hotel parking was free until 2 PM the next day. This hotel is excellent and definitely worth experiencing.
