1.01km from Zenger Pasa KonagiMy fiance and I stayed in the raddison room 1307 from the 5th of November till the 19th. Everything was going relatively fine until our last day. After my fiance left for the airport and I went back to pack my own belongings I was appalled to find that an armani watch of mine, worth the same amount as our ENTIRE 14 days stay in the radisson blu, was stolen. I say stolen because BOTH my fiance and I saw it for the last time during that same day before leaving to have lunch together while the help was arranging the room. Neither of us touched it, moved it, or saw it afterwards. After I searched all my bags for more than 3 times, called my fiance in the airport and made him check his and searched in the room for more than 3 hours I decided to finally contact the reception. I would have never expected such a poor almost non-existence response to such a serious claim in a four star hotel as supposedly respectable and reputable as the radisson blu. When I told them what happened in detail and that I have NO DOUBT in mind that the watch was actually stolen their only reply was that "nothing like that has ever happened here before". They did not summon the help, whose shift has ended, back to the hotel. They merely called them on the phone and took whatever they said for granted. They did not summon any of their superiors and I doubt that they even informed them with what happened. I was reeling under the weight of having said goodbye to my fiance who I only just got to see after 10 months of being apart of COVID-19 and was not equipped to deal with another both monetary and emotional loss that came with losing such a dear gift to my heart. The only thing the desk checked is if someone entered the room while we weren't there which I knew would be useless as she had to have taken it while she was doing the routine everyday cleaning. In the end they told me that they have my number and would call me if they found anything and that "nothing like this has ever happened here before" but there is a first time for everything isn't it ? So what would happen the next time someone makes a similar claim ? Would it also be that "this never happened before?" Or am I expected to wait until something like this happens again, which it would given the absolute lack of accountability I personally witnessed, in order to be respectfully listened to and heard? I really can't in GOOD CONDITIONS recommend the place.
