Check in was a hassle however, I needed to go somewhere else to check in.
The room was somewhere else.
Parking was a bit hassle as the parking space and the lift was quite far.
But again I stress, the room is worth the money!
Poor customer service, tried calling them for an issue (glass broke) due to strong wind the frame fell down and broke. No answer, no message reply.
Deposit is still required - RM 200 cash

|1.37km from Zouk GentingGot a free upgrade and stayed at Ion Majestic, love and wanted to try the heated pool but it was under maintenance so we wouldn't be able to try.
I was a regular at Ion Delemens before I tried to book with Trip.com, so definitely will prefer and choose to stay at Ion Majestic as it has easier access than Ion Delemens.
Killer view but I guess as not a morning person, I wouldn't prefer the bright curtains in the morning😅

The aparment amenities is quite good where has a roof top swimming pool. Indoor ping pong room & gym. About the properties experiences, the property is well clean, nice interior design however i just a bit dissatisfied on the air cond under master room where it was autamatically stop after 10-15 minutes operated with it was default on the timer even try top reset it but it still happen. The aircond also is not really cool. Maybe the maple technician must look into this as priority. This also for the ceiling Fan inside the master room only can go for speed number 4. Other than that is not functioning . All the rest for me is good. This time visit i give 3 star out of 5. TQ

They only provide 2 towels for showering and a packet of tissue for the 4 nights we were there.Nothing else besides the basic toilet paper. They didn't even provide toothbrush and toothpaste which is the basic necessity. No hot beverages at all. I think paying for $55 a night is too costly and not worth paying . And they have the smallest TV in the whole wide world. I have attached some pictures.

The location is convenient—just a short drive to the main attractions but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The suite was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Loved the big windows and cool mountain breeze!
The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly. There’s a small kitchen area, which is handy if you’re staying more than a night. Wi-Fi was decent, and the bed was comfy too.

The bridge has total 6 escalators.
The 1st night was TERRIBLE, there are 4 of the escalators NOT WORKING. i saw many ppl exhausted from walking especially whose who bring stroller.
You can book in advance to get a ride to first world.
FOOD - Hotel breakfast is outsourced, NOT under hotel management. The food is delicious, but the area is really bad. They doesnt have a proper room for breakfast, you will get cold & windy outside while you take the food.
INDOOR POOL - Thy write heated pool but i dont feel any heat at all, i only feel 20% of heat.
1st night, the mcb has tripped, the light is off, heater is off too. Have to called the management to help.
INCONSIDERATE NEIGHBOUR - 1st night, i caught a neighbours SMOKING at the hotel room corridor, complainted.
2nd night, another neighbours with 15ppls in 1 room, open their door having party & TALKING very loud during 11pm late at night. i can hear their voices clearly.
Their bahavior was completely inconsiderate.

Lift always crowded during peak. Room was inaccessible during check-in due to weak battery in digital lock. Additional bottled water was chargeable at RM5 per bottle despite staying for 3 nights.
Victor and Zara were both patient and helpful during our stay.

Love the view and when we were there, Genting was covered in a thick fog and mist, so was very very magical and very enjoyable weather.

If this hotel were a car, it would be a flashy Italian model with serious build quality issues.
The best thing about this hotel is the price. RM200 for a king bed on a public holiday felt like a steal. Driving in from SkyAvenue, the road was dark, but the brightly lit parking area gave us high hopes.
Check-in via the self-service kiosk was smooth, though finding our room was confusing due to the odd 5-digit numbering. Thankfully, the concierge guided us.
First impression of the room: it matched the promo photos. But our excitement ended quickly. The door wouldn’t lock properly and kept beeping. A technician came, hammered the strike plate, and fixed it—hardly reassuring for security.
Next came the bathroom. Many reviews mentioned a bad construction smell, and they were right. The shower drained poorly, leaving a strong concrete odor as water pooled.
The kitchen looked impressive with plenty of cabinets, but surprisingly had no power sockets near the counter. I had to boil water at the desk instead.
The TV was another letdown. Supposedly “smart,” it had no internet or channels. I tried everything—resetting, power cycling—but there was no Wi-Fi option at all. So much for Netflix night.
Design-wise, the room looked sleek at first glance, but flaws showed up everywhere: paint splatters in the bathroom, noisy metal racks, and tile flooring that picked up every footprint.
The next morning, the sunrise over Genting Highlands was breathtaking—arguably the highlight of our stay.
Exploring the hotel, we found most shops, including Hard Rock Café and the rooftop, closed with no operating hours posted. Facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and kids’ zone were open but overcrowded due to the holiday. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t included.
Checkout was quick and smooth.
Looking back, the real problem isn’t management, but poor construction quality that doesn’t reflect in typical rating categories like cleanliness, service, or location. The place looks good on the surface, but corners were clearly cut in development.
I really wanted to love this hotel—the concept, location, and price are great. But unless management addresses these quality issues, the high ratings are misleading.

|4.5km from Zouk GentingThank you for the excellent hostality for Geo Hotel to their Guest Relation Officer Check in Staff Syazwan, their humble head Chef Zack fm Prata section and the Chinese Chef plus another Malay Chef which we forgotten his name , their inhouse breakfast team GM and swrvers Mr Ismeil , and MR Rizal the guy whom helped us to book 2 grab taxi for us on our check out daty on 27/6 and the house keeping teams whom clean room 511. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the security personnel makes us safe to stay at the hotel on 24/6 to 27/6. The swimming pool was also safe and my kids love it.

|1.42km from Zouk GentingWe had a room on the 28th floor and were impressed: genuinely large, modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great shower pressure, and all amenities provided (kettle, safe, ironing board, etc.).
The highlight is definitely the view: on clear moments you’re floating above a sea of clouds with green hills and lakes below – absolutely stunning. On cloudy days (which is most of the time in Genting) you just see white, but when the clouds part it’s worth it.
Small downsides:
• The TV was disappointing – only the built-in local channels worked reliably. Couldn’t log into Netflix, YouTube, or any streaming apps.
Transport info (important!):
• Hotel shuttle runs only to/from SkyAvenue (casino & main resort area), NOT to the Premium Outlets.
• Costs 6–7 RM per person per trip (not free).
• Must be booked online in advance using the QR code they give you at check-in. Runs hourly, limited seats – book a few hours ahead, especially for the return leg.
• From Awana Bus Terminal there is no hotel shuttle at all – take a taxi/Grab (≈25–30 RM, 25-30 mins).
Food: We didn’t take the breakfast package. Cloof restaurant downstairs is convenient, but not too many options. In room dining available 24/7 but noticeably overpriced.
Verdict: Still one of the best newer hotels in Genting if you want space, cleanliness, and those occasional jaw-dropping views. Perfect if you don’t mind the short paid shuttle into the main action. Would definitely return.
