I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is very good, and I can recommend it, but there are issues with the cleaning: 1) Broken vacuum cleaners that spread more dust than they pick up. 2) The cleaning staff bang vacuum cleaners against walls and glass. 3) Managers checking rooms after cleaning repeatedly slam doors, even though they can be closed silently. From inside the room, you can lower the door handle, and from the outside, you can tap your card. Alternatively, they could leave the door ajar if they're going in and out for checks. Take those old, broken vacuum cleaners away from the cleaning staff! I've seen negative reviews mentioning dusty rooms. That's because the cleaning staff are simultaneously vacuuming with broken machines and scattering dust from them all over the room and corridor. On the 20th floor, a vacuum cleaner had a broken lid latch. They've nailed it shut and secured the lid with an elastic band. When they lift the vacuum to move it, dust spills out because it's not in a bag, but just loose inside the vacuum. The vacuum cleaners themselves are also all dirty. After the cleaning staff saw me photographing the vacuum cleaner, a young man brought another, non-broken vacuum and thoroughly vacuumed in front of me, including the seams. Before that, the female cleaner was vacuuming poorly, as if she didn't know how to use a vacuum – when you move the vacuum wand, the brush should be parallel to the floor, not at an angle. However, both the female and male staff don't control the vacuum nozzle and hit it against walls and glass. I heard these loud banging noises every day for hours in the morning when the cleaning staff were cleaning on other floors above or below. And they start cleaning at 8-9 AM. Some guests might still be sleeping. Behind the nightstand between the bed and the bathroom in my room (2004), there were candy wrappers and a lot of dust. I had to move the nightstand myself and ask for it to be vacuumed. In principle, it could be vacuumed without moving it, just by removing the large attachment, but the nightstand itself was very dusty on the back because it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Meanwhile, the other nightstand wasn't as dusty. Other corners were dusty because the cleaners either don't vacuum or don't remove the large attachment, which makes it impossible to vacuum corners. I also found someone else's reading glasses with red and blue frames under the bed. The cleaning staff should thoroughly check the room to ensure guests haven't left anything behind. Surely the person was looking for their glasses. Overall, the room itself was very clean; the only issues with the cleaning staff were regarding vacuum usage and dusting in the corners.

🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world. The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed. My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind. Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler. Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers. And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

Perfect location to explore the city and right next to the river. Good breakfast and comfortable beds. Has aged a lot, which is part of the appeal but does hinder its ability to score high for amenities. Staff were very good and helped me when needed. Would stay again and would recommend to others for staying in a historic hotel.

It's a gem waiting for attention to details from the owners so that it can be a real star in charming Hue. Premium river view I stayed exceeded my thought. I would not hesitate to return to the same room cat (esp #153/253/353) as they have better views than Suites (which are larger however not as nice riverview angles as these rooms. Breakfast selection is nice, not too many to have much food wasted. The public areas can be managed much better to provide more comfort in the tropical summer heat. Currenty there are harldy a/c operated but fans. If they (owners) have a proper overview on the entire property and updated where needed, rates can be increases as not many in such prestige area have such location All teams I was in contacted with were helpful and cheerful. I stayed at TTC Imperial Hotel in Hue for three nights and everything was absolutely perfect. I loved the building itself, the beautiful rooftop terrace, and the room — spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The gym was excellent, the service was truly professional, and the people working there were warm, kind, and attentive. Breakfast was great with a good variety and quality. We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

The building is a bit old, but the views are incredible. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, and we enjoyed it on the terrace. It's within walking distance to the bustling downtown area, which was great for meals and massages. You can hear music from a nearby club, but that's a matter of personal preference; if you think of it as a lively, developing area, it's not bothersome. The front desk staff were also very helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Indochine Palace Hotel in Huế. The hotel combines classic elegance with modern comfort, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent beds and thoughtful amenities. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of both Vietnamese and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. The swimming pool, gym, and spa were also excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the layout of the twin room. It is not very convenient for friends sharing a room because the toilet and bathroom are connected by a single door, which offers limited privacy. Overall, Indochine Palace offers excellent value for a five-star hotel. Despite the room layout, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Huế.

First of all, this hotel is a piece of art. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are also beautiful, you won’t stop taking pictures of the interior. The bed was super comfortable. Has an ATM across the street. The location was very good for exploring both the citadel and the tomb, however it is slightly far from the walking street and boat. There are some areas of to watch out for. The pool was cold and not suitable for swimming. The gym also closes at around 9 pm, which is quite early. The sauna is quite hidden. The shower curtain was old and had a smell. The bathrobe had some dirty spots. The breakfast was OK, very healthy, but I found a long string of hair in a chicken plate, which as upsetting.

The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!

Not to mention the polite explanation at check-in, when I told him to check out early tomorrow morning, he gave me a lunch box so that I could eat on the train at the time of departure. My family and I spent the entire Chinese New Year holiday in Hue, and Anna Mandela Beach Resort brought me a great surprise. We have stayed at 4 resorts in total (including one in Hoi An). I personally think that Anna Mandela is the most surprising of these four, and the one with the most comprehensive cost performance. From Hue Railway Station, my family and I have enjoyed the meticulous service of Anna Mandela. Although the train was more than 3 hours late, as soon as we got out of the platform, the driver gave us cold towels under the hot sun. And drinking water. An aunt from France welcomed us at the front desk. She was very kind, friendly and dedicated. Her personal behavior set a high standard for the service of the resort. She happily introduced us to everything about the resort and every detail of the room, as if she was sharing with us the treasure she is proud of; when she found that there were only two ice cream vouchers in the room, she quickly went back and gave them to my daughter Last one; she treated me and my family like friends, so that I would think that I was a guest at her house, not a hotel. Anna Mandela Beach Resort is small and exquisite. Although it is a distance from the city of Hue, this means that you can enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Shun An Beach. The sand on the beach is very thin and gentle. You can walk to Far away from the sea. The free shuttle bus provided by the resort can satisfy any exploration of Hue and it is also convenient for you to enjoy the rich nightlife of Hue. Although I booked the most basic room type, even the most common room type was very satisfying. The rooms and bathrooms were large, with simple Southeast Asian style wood decoration, warm and comfortable. There is a huge platform and a soft lounge chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. It also has direct access to the garden and swimming pool, and is only a few steps away from the beach. My six-year-old daughter loves the blue swimming pool. She spends the whole day in the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and few people. My daughter is also particularly obsessed with catching crabs on the beach. I would like to add some marine sports, such as kayaking, surfboards, standing rowing boats, etc. I have regretted that I only stayed two nights at Anna Mandela. If I come back next time, I hope to stay for a week, so that I have enough time to slowly taste the quiet and blue beauty here, and the food in the restaurant. .

Good value for money. The location is convenient enough that you are not far away from attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are water dispensers on each floor that you can easily fill up your water bottles during the day. Staff are so friendly and kind, they always great you with smiles. The only thing we found a bit unpleasant is they seem to offer swimming trainings to non-hotel guests during the day every day? Whether we were there early in the morning or late at night, there were kids having swimming trainings with a coach.

The room wasn't very clean. The walls were dirty and cracked, and the balcony was dirty with a view of the corridor between rooms. While I was sleeping, a cleaner walked into my room. I opened my eyes and there was an unfamiliar woman. It was scary. The hot water was fine. There was no soap, but there was shower gel. A hairdryer and slippers were provided. It said there was a rooftop bar, but it wasn't open. The air conditioning worked well, and the outlets were fine. The service at reception was so-so. The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

This hotel was the most anticipated part of the entire trip to Hue. The resort was great, though a bit out of the way, requiring a taxi to get around. It had a retro feel but was clean and tidy, and everyone greeted us with a smile, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. The double room had an extra bed, and the breakfast included was great value. They even offered a wake-up service (I loved their flip-flops!). Because our train was at 6 AM the next day, we ate breakfast a day early – it was à la carte, and the yogurt was quite good. The receptionist even asked about our train time and thoughtfully prepared a convenient lunch for us when we left. There was also a cute little Year of the Horse gift – so sweet! It really boosted our mood. My parents were very satisfied with the trip. Thank you! I'll definitely recommend this hotel first in Hue. This is the first time I've written such a long review.

Having stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special. The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

USOksana_travelI stayed for 4 nights.

The location of this hotel is very good. It is right next to the Imperial City of Hue Ancient City. It is less than 100 meters walk to the entrance of the Imperial City, which is very convenient. If you plan to explore the ancient city in depth, this hotel is a very good choice. When we came, there were not many Chinese people staying, but more Koreans and Europeans. The hotel breakfast is also good, with fresh fruits and rice noodles. The predecessor of the hotel was the Great Southern Hospital, which has a unique historical atmosphere. If you can't find a restaurant that suits your taste for a while, you might as well go back to the hotel restaurant to try it. Their rice noodles and fried rice are delicious, the taste is authentic, and the dining environment is much more comfortable than most snack stalls in the ancient city. After all, we walked around the ancient city. There are many good coffee shops, but there are not many decent restaurants. In addition, the architectural style of the hotel is also a highlight. It adopts the local traditional yellow exterior wall, which is very characteristic of Hue. The overall building is simple and elegant, with a strong local cultural atmosphere. In general, if you plan to stay in Hue Ancient City, I highly recommend this hotel. Whether it is the location, food or atmosphere, it is worth a try.

I stayed for two nights and had a very comfortable experience. The room was spacious with two large beds. All amenities, such as towels, shampoo, and body wash, were provided. The front desk staff were also very kind. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Upon check-in, there was hair on the floor in the room. After reporting it, they quickly sent someone to clean it up. Both the hotel's exterior and the room itself are beautiful! What's even better is that the plaza outside the hotel has an amusement park with really affordable prices! It's incredibly useful for those traveling with children!

This feels like a family-run guesthouse, almost like a converted home, and it's very close to the train station. It was a strange coincidence – when I took a taxi from Hue train station to the hotel, the driver, who spoke excellent English, gave me a tour of the sights along the way. Three days later, when I hailed a taxi to go to the Hue office to leave town, it was the same driver! For my first meal after checking in, I went to a beef hotpot place inside the Imperial City. It didn't have any reviews on popular apps like Dianping or Xiaohongshu, but it was the most satisfying meal I've had in Vietnam so far – very similar to what you'd find back home, and reasonably priced too. The next day, I explored the Imperial City and tried salt coffee. All the local Vietnamese coffee is just too sweet for my taste. On my third day, when I was leaving, I realized I'd left behind a white top. I had planned to wear it on the sleeping bus, but completely forgot to pack it when I checked out.

The location of hotel is superd, with the train station and the starting point of Perfume river cruise within walking distance of less than 10 minutes. There are many historical building along the Perfume river where a walk along the river bank is very enjoyable. There are also many eateries nearby. The room is spacious and comfy. The reception is warm and speak good English. It's a good value stay at this hotel.
