The hotel is ideally located and exceptionally clean. Although the rooms are small, they are fully equipped with everything you need. One feature I especially loved was the water dispenser with adjustable temperature settings. It is incredibly convenient and a huge plus for anyone who loves drinking warm water, as you don't have to wait for a kettle to boil. The lobby also offers complimentary local snacks, which the kids absolutely loved. They also have a self-service luggage storage room. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time!

The room was relatively spacious, which I really liked. The bathroom even had a bathtub, and we had a view of a church from the window. It's in a quiet location. The service was quite good, and they offered luggage storage. If you exit the hotel and turn left, you'll find the Esplanade MRT station (Exit A) on the Circle Line. There's a laundry room on the 4th floor; washing and drying costs 10 SGD, and you can get coins at the front desk on the ground floor. I didn't get to check out the pool. If you haven't booked breakfast, there are shops across from the hotel where you can grab a bite.

First time visit to Singapore. Lovely hotel. Great location, bonus of an outdoor pool that we used early one morning. Rooms very clean, beds super comfy. Immaculately clean. All staff super friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. Concierge’s always available to sort taxis and help too. Didn’t book breakfast as do many food options close by. Nice touch was at check in they brought out birthday muffins, not just for me but for my two teenagers too. Great introduction.What’s not to love? Will be back.

Lovely stay! first time here and it was an awesome 2 nights stay! I booked it for my Birthday Staycaytion and wanted to peaceful stay! Staff were super friendly and gave me a room upgrade!! ♥️ Nice and clean, uninterrupted room and restful!!! 10/10!! Amenities were great and sufficient. I also tried to keep the place neat and tidy before checking out so that the housekeeping staff wouldn’t be so tired and make their lives easier! I wasn’t expecting the room upgrade (maybe cause it was my birthday) but thanks to staff Ariff that helped with the check-in! 😊 the room upgrade was really a bonus and helps a lot with the experience of my stay here - cause of the awesome view!!! 🥰♥️ It was amazing!! The lady on duty on the Singapore public holiday after the National Day was a bit crafty. Wanted to charge us $100 for checking in at 14h00, one hour earlier than official checkin. The notices on the counter clearly mentioned it cost $25 for a one hour early checkin. We did not request an early checkin. Then came the carrot. The same lady offered one room with 4 beds instead of the two rooms we had booked with free early checkin. Nice try, but we were not falling for that old trick. My wife is Chinese and she sniffed a rat in that deal instantly when she realised we would be giving up a second bathroom and some privacy of interleading doors between the two rooms we had booked. Pretty sneaky lady that receptionist Very convenient location along the river. Hotel has a leisure pool for a casual dip. Coffee and tea in the room, even a kettle but you guessed it, the only hotel I have ever stayed at that does not provide bottled water in the room. Msybe they thought the river is close enough to fill the kettle

The hotel's environment is truly exceptional. Check-in is on the 8th floor, and the ground floor provides direct access to the restaurant and the beach. Right outside, there's a beach tram shuttle service that takes you to Beach Station MRT in just two stops, or about a 5-10 minute walk. During our stay, there was a beachside barbecue market starting at 2 PM every afternoon, which was when the shuttle service stopped. We stayed on the 5th floor, and the swimming pool was right outside our door. The kids absolutely loved it! There were also swings and a seesaw, and we even spotted a hammock while walking around. However, I can't help but mention the ants. There were always tiny ants on the bedsheets, which might be due to the area being so close to nature.

Pretty good location where it’s within walking distance from Bugis MRT, Nicoll Highway MRT and Lavender MRT stations. Near to hotspot cafes in Arab Street and Haji Lane, lots of cafes around for good coffee and food. Hotel room itself was not too bad. Comfortable for one night/short stay. Though you can hear what is happening along the corridor despite having door closed and locked (people walking/running, talking/laughing… all can be heard clearly). Door latch in room was not in working condition too. Requested for a quiet room on level 2 with windows via Trip.com, front desk claims they did not receive any request. Generally, decent.

This is an honest review of Carlton Hotel Singapore, where my mother and I stayed in the second week of August! I'll summarize what I felt during my stay. Floor: I requested a high floor when booking, but unfortunately, it wasn't accommodated, and we were assigned the 8th floor. However, the room condition was pleasant, so we didn't experience much inconvenience during our stay. Bed Type: The room type was an Executive Room. We requested twin beds so my mom and I could sleep comfortably, and they provided a room with two beds, which was perfect. The bedding was fresh, and the mattress was soft, so we slept soundly every night. Deposit & Cancellation Period: A deposit of $200 (SGD) is authorized upon check-in. Even if you use paid services, they are not deducted from the deposit; you pay for them separately upon check-out. It's been about 3 days since we checked out, and the deposit cancellation hasn't been processed yet, likely because it's an overseas authorization. It usually takes a few days to 1-2 weeks depending on the card company, so it's best to wait patiently. Bathroom & Amenities: Toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided, and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were well-stocked, which we used comfortably throughout our stay. A hairdryer was also available. Cleaning & Refill: If you press the 'Please Clean Up' switch in the room, they will clean the room and replenish water, towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes generously every time. Tip for Bedding Change: If you want to have the bed sheets completely changed, make sure to place the green sign provided in the room on the bed, and they will replace them with fresh bedding. Upon arriving at night, the magnificent glass chandelier stretching across the lobby ceiling immediately caught my eye. The high ceiling and luxurious feel made a great first impression. The swimming pool is quite small. However, Singapore's weather is extremely hot and humid, so people were constantly in the water regardless of the time of day. It was sufficient for cooling down and chilling out lightly during the day or evening. Gym: Across the swimming pool, there's a gym. It was clean and a simple hotel gym, perfect for a light workout. Breakfast/Hotel Dining: I didn't book breakfast because of the pressure to wake up early to eat breakfast when traveling. Instead of using the hotel's breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffets, we creatively handled our meals with delivery food and restaurants in nearby shopping malls. Raffles City Shopping Mall: The Raffles City shopping mall right next to the hotel was incredibly convenient! The restaurant and food court options were so good that we often went to Raffles City for our meals during our stay. Room Service: On the first night, we arrived at the hotel around 10-11 PM and were tired, so we ordered room service. The food tasted really delicious and satisfying, but as expected with Singapore prices, it was quite expensive. The taste is guaranteed, so it might be nice to use it once for a treat! Location & Transportation: On the map, I thought Merlion Park was within walking distance, but Singapore's August weather was hotter and more humid than I imagined, so walking was definitely not an option. Instead, there were well-located bus stops near the hotel, and we consistently took buses to major attractions, including Merlion Park. The routes were so well-established that we got around very conveniently. When it's hot, always use public transport! This was a trip with my mom, and thanks to the nearby shopping mall, meals were convenient. Overall, it was a satisfying hotel stay. I recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located accommodation in the heart of Singapore.

There's also a small path from the hotel that leads to the beach, which is lovely for a stroll in the morning before it gets too hot.

Always impressed with the overall experience at the Hotel Jen Tanglin. My top choice hotel in Singapore when I traveled to for business. Very nice Club King room and the Club Lounge is nice and decent though a bit small in space. Food offerings is good although can have more varieties as well. I have requested for late check out and the Front of House staff name Daniella was very helpful and try to accommodate my request as well! Thank you and well recognition to the hotel staffs friendliness and attentive as well. I will definitely return on my next business trip to Singapore and Hotel Jen Tanglin will be the top choice!

I think we hit the jackpot with this hotel. Very thankful that we experienced all the positives for this hotel. What we like: Clean. No ants nor bugs. Bedding and pillows also clean and no weird smells. Very welcoming and polite staff at check in. She helped to distract my kids with some check in entertainment when she saw that they kept asking for my attention while I was trying to check in. Staff at Native Kitchen also very helpful and polite. They still gave a small discount even though we ate there after we checked out. Staff are also fast and efficient when we requested for more pillows. Pool area (4 pools) is super pretty and my son had a great time playing 2 ball games in the pool during their entertainment hours. The Aqua Zumba (I think - unsure of the name) was also good and the instructor made every second fun! My girl and I loved dancing in the water to his music and moves! Both noons also we had some free snacks courtesy of Village, at the reception area. These made my kids giddy with joy. We were not celebrating anything but we saw reception pass out birthday favours for those that are. This is a plus point for me. It shows they make an effort. What we don’t like: Pool walking area is dirty in the late noon but can’t be helped as it got very crowded and it’s quite hard to clean the floor up with so many people around. Also, not enough chairs. We reached about 9am and majority taken up. We went back in the noon and also no seats. Do go early if you want to grab seats for your things. The rainfall water feature at the lazy river is also very strong pressure and might border on being painful or scary if you have young kids or are sunburnt. Some mould at lazy river walls too. Not a fan, but not something that ticks my no list. Overall- definitely definitely definitely recommended. Room is small but you won’t be inside most of the time with so much to do in Sentosa.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. When checking in, you just hand your luggage directly to the staff, and after you complete the check-in process on the fourth floor, someone will bring your luggage directly to your room. When checking out, you leave your luggage on the fourth floor, and then pick it up on the first floor when you're ready to leave, which is super convenient. The hotel also has drinking water available, so remember to fill up your water bottle before heading out. It's also close to two subway lines, making getting around very easy.

Stayed for 1N for staycation - just wish to decompress from work and dont wanna travel out of the country. I choose this hotel on ourpose for the high floor option and the Marina Bay view. The highlight was definitely the room and the spectacular views from the 46th floor. Watching Singapore change from day to night was beautiful, and waking up to the morning skyline was just as memorable. The room was comfortable and the overall hotel experience felt relaxing and special, which was exactly what we wanted from a staycation. Breakfast was enjoyable too, with a pleasant atmosphere and good variety. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a lovely way to slow down and appreciate Singapore from a different perspective. Would definitely consider coming back for another staycation.

From the doorman to housekeeping, everyone was polite and measured in their approach – not overly fawning, but you still felt well-cared for. A special shout-out to the Korean lady at the 38th-floor club; even though she didn't speak Chinese, she communicated meticulously in English with a constant smile, which was both elegant and warm. ## Summary High-end facilities, excellent service – perfect for guests who prioritize quality and spaciousness. I would definitely stay again. ### Complimentary Pacific Club Access: I missed both afternoon tea and happy hour due to being out sightseeing. Location is a bit remote, it takes at least 10 minutes on foot to get to the city and the MRT station. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus, but it runs only about once an hour, seats are first-come, first-served, and the last bus departs as early as 7 something in the evening. So I couldn't really enjoy the free shuttle at all, since the times just didn't work for me. The room was clean and nicely designed. The staff at the buffet restaurant and bell service were friendly. However, check-in at the front desk was slow and the waiting time was long.

This hotel, formerly the Peninsula Excelsior, is divided into a South Tower and a North Tower, with the South Tower generally considered better by online reviewers. Its location is excellent, within walking distance to Merlion Park, National Gallery Singapore, National Museum of Singapore, and Fort Canning Park. Chinatown is also just a 20-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. Next door is Funan Mall, which houses a FairPrice Finest supermarket, where we got all our food and drinks for a few days. I booked a standard room and specifically requested a room in the South Tower during check-in. I got room 1106, which faced the hotel, overlooking the pool and the lobby's canopy. It should have been a relatively quiet room type, but I could still hear occasional sounds from the fire station and intermittent machinery noises (not sure where they were coming from). The room's cleanliness was generally acceptable, but the fingerprints on the window glass remained uncleaned from check-in until check-out. During my extended stay, I noticed the housekeeping staff took off their shoes when entering to clean, and the room was tidied up quite well. The mattress is quite firm, so it might not be suitable if you prefer a softer bed. There were three types of pillows to choose from, but no latex pillows. The step in the bathroom tripped me three times; it was quite tricky. Toiletries didn't include cotton swabs or combs. I had to dial 0 to request them and waited for at least an hour...

This time, I booked a deluxe sea-view room, and the window offers a direct view of the ocean. Plus, there's even an open-air cinema downstairs! 🎬 The pool area is also divided into two: the 7th floor has an adult pool, and the 3rd floor has a kids' pool, which is a big plus because it keeps everyone from being crowded together! This hotel is a century old, and apparently, even Charlie Chaplin stayed here. The suite is two-storied, with a very comfortable king-size bed on the second floor, a sofa bed in the living room, and a cot (too thin). There's one bathroom, though the shower stall is a bit narrow, the water pressure isn't great, and controlling the water temperature is a bit tricky. The kitchen is well-equipped with a microwave, oven, pots, pans, and even a washer-dryer combo, along with laundry detergent – which was fantastic for refreshing our clothes daily. There are two pools. The main pool has a rather steep slope and is 2.8 meters deep at its deepest point. There are no lifeguards, changing rooms, or showers; you either have to change in the lobby restrooms or go directly in your swimwear. The service was excellent. They proactively helped with luggage. After checking in, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM, but the front desk staff found me in the lobby before 3 PM, remembered my name, and gave me the key – that was a nice touch. The hotel is about 800 meters from Orchard Road's ION, Isetan, and Jollibee. There's a FairPrice supermarket in Scott Square, which is a great spot to pick up local specialties. For affordable breakfast, there's Ya Kun Kaya Toast, food courts, and hawker centers nearby, but honestly, after a while, they all pretty much taste the same.

Front Desk: I booked four nights at Fullerton Hotel this time. As I booked quite late, the four days were split into three different reservations with two room types. Upon arrival at the front desk, we were greeted by a friendly lady with short hair and glasses. She was very helpful and actively tried to arrange a single room for us so we wouldn't have to switch, but due to the high occupancy, she couldn't make it happen. She informed us that we'd have to switch rooms after the first two nights, which we understood. A really great gesture was that this lady upgraded our room type for all four days. We had originally booked three nights in a Courtyard Club room and one night in a regular Suite. She managed to get us upgraded to Club rooms with impressive bay views. Especially on the second night, we stayed in a Loft Suite, which was huge and came with a terrace. We could sit on the terrace sofa and enjoy the bay night view and the Marina Bay Sands building. In the evening, the hotel even sent up champagne, chocolates, and fruit, which made my child incredibly happy! A big thank you to this short-haired front desk lady for giving us the opportunity to experience a better room type at the hotel! I won't comment on the other front desk staff; some seemed a bit aloof and haughty, haha! Dining: The breakfast was comprehensive, with various Chinese, Western, and Indian options. My child particularly loved the laksa noodles and steamed egg custard, while I enjoyed the freshly made omelets. The old chef making the omelets was very versatile, speaking English, Chinese, and Japanese. I chatted with him, and he mentioned he used to be a Japanese chef. The omelets were delicious and could be loaded with many ingredients! Our room type included executive lounge access, but we were out exploring every day and only made it for afternoon tea once! Room: The cleaning was meticulous, and we had turndown service every night. The bathroom was large, but the toothbrushes shed bristles, so we unfortunately had to buy two new toothbrushes from the 7-11 across the street. Location: Unbeatable! You can tell from the photos. It's very close to Raffles Place MRT station, Marina Bay is right in front of you, and it's also a historic building. Just across the bridge is the Asian Civilisations Museum, and within walking distance are attractions like Clarke Quay and the Old Hill Street Police Station! Overall Impression: The hotel had a lot of Western guests, and the service was Westernized, which was generally good! Finally, the hotel bill showed a charge of 26.98 SGD. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't check it carefully at the time. I only noticed the charge after returning home and wasn't sure what it was for, but since it wasn't much money, I didn't inquire further.

Stayed for 1N for staycation - just wish to decompress from work and dont wanna travel out of the country. I choose this hotel on ourpose for the high floor option and the Marina Bay view. The highlight was definitely the room and the spectacular views from the 46th floor. Watching Singapore change from day to night was beautiful, and waking up to the morning skyline was just as memorable. The room was comfortable and the overall hotel experience felt relaxing and special, which was exactly what we wanted from a staycation. Breakfast was enjoyable too, with a pleasant atmosphere and good variety. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a lovely way to slow down and appreciate Singapore from a different perspective. Would definitely consider coming back for another staycation.

I loved absolutely everything! It's trendy, stylish, and technologically advanced. In such a small space, they managed to fit everything necessary, even an ironing board and iron. The idea of a bathroom with a city view was interesting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the second-level loft bed for a child – it's very convenient, thank you! The double bed that expands is pure high-tech; I'm thrilled! The breakfasts were incredibly delicious, truly. All the activity zones were beautiful: the pool, restaurant, and gym. Location-wise, it's a great spot, only a 3-5 minute walk from the metro station. Getting to the airport is also convenient with a direct bus that takes about 30 minutes, and the East Coast is a 15-minute walk away. As for the room, it was indeed small, which is typical for hotels in Singapore. However, the cleanliness was definitely an issue. There were obvious oil stains on the duvet cover, and the headboard had various damages and stains. The shower water pressure was fine, but they don't provide bottled water; there's a drinking water tap instead. The air conditioning was incredibly cold; even after setting it to 25 degrees, the room consistently showed 16-18 degrees. Breakfast was just okay.

I booked a superior room with bakcony for 1 day and through another company the same type of room for next 4 nights! The night shift receptionist was really rude and told me for the 1st day i booked a superior room with balcony but the other 4 not! He also told that i did not understand what i booked!!!!!! After circa 10 minutes of arguments i told him we will see what is wrong or right next day!!! Next day i just presented my booking and the day shift receptionist was soooo kind and he said that i can be in a room with bigger balcony !!! So the management has 1. To check all the web-partners and to give the same names of the room types 2. The room type description has to be in all papers of the booker 3. Some receptionists are really rude and terrorize the guests!!!!
