The room, including the bathroom, is about 20 square meters. We booked a twin room, and each bed is between 1 and 1.2 meters wide. To shower, you have to step over the bathtub as there's no separate shower cubicle. Opposite the twin beds, there's a long table that can fit two 20-inch suitcases. The hotel is less than 100 meters in a straight line from Exit A of Bras Basah MRT station. It's located on Queen Street, which is a one-way street connecting to a main road, making it very quiet – perfect for light sleepers. The hotel elevator lobby has a direct drinking water dispenser with ice water, which you can heat up in your room with the electric kettle, very convenient. The front desk has two Chinese staff members who can communicate fluently in Mandarin. We booked for 4 nights, but there were no rooms available for the 5th night, so we had to move to the nearby Landmark Village Hotel. The front desk there was not friendly towards Chinese guests. It's about 20 meters from Bencoolen MRT station and approximately 300 meters on foot from the Queen's Hotel. The twin beds at the Landmark Village Hotel are only 0.8 meters wide, so you have to be careful not to fall off while sleeping. The hallways are quite narrow, and noise from guests across the hall was very disruptive.

We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days in a Grand Deluxe Waterfront King room. The view of the Singapore River and Marina Bay Sands was great. However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping service. There were times when the sheets weren't changed and towels weren't replenished, which was a drawback in terms of service. Despite that, the good view and convenience, as mentioned earlier, make it a decent choice.

I had been here several times, staying at both wings. I like the pool. This time, like the previous time..the wifi wasn’t working well but this time, it has caused some “major” issues and inconvenience! I can’t be reached for hours! I called reception for help and eventually they sent staff to my room to settle the issue for me! Thankful and grateful for that. All the rest are good for a short stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed for 4 nights during my trip to Singapore and it was a truly satisfying experience. The biggest advantage is definitely the location. It's just a few minutes' walk to Orchard Road and close to Orchard MRT, which made shopping and sightseeing incredibly convenient. There are also many shopping malls and great restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was so comfortable that I could relax easily every day. The room was well-maintained, and I appreciated the complimentary mini-bar, bottled water, and coffee. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. From check-in to check-out, their responses were quick, and they always greeted me with a bright smile, making my stay very pleasant. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I could see why the hotel's Carousel restaurant is so famous. If I visit Singapore again, I would definitely choose this hotel. I highly recommend it, especially for those planning a shopping and sightseeing trip.

The room was great, and the location was excellent. It was convenient to take public transportation from the MRT, and it wasn't a long walk either. The beach was right across the road, perfect for swimming, with plenty of showers and foot-washing stations. The hotel also had a fantastic pool, about 100 meters long and 20 meters wide, plus a hot spring for soaking – truly comprehensive facilities! Getting to Universal Studios and the Ocean Park was also very convenient. The only downsides I can mention are that being by the sea, the room was a bit damp and there were some small ants, but nothing else. We even saw some wild animals!

Let's start with the downsides. The room was small and old, and there was a sewer smell in the shower. There was no bottled water, only a filtered water dispenser, and the filtered water tasted just like tap water. When we first checked in, the shower hose was split and sprayed water from the side, making it unusable. Housekeeping might not have noticed it. We reported it to the front desk, and they quickly sent a maintenance worker to replace it with a new hose – kudos for the efficiency. For the first two nights, the air conditioning in the room was practically non-existent; it was incredibly humid and hot. After we couldn't take it anymore and complained to the front desk, they immediately fixed it. After the repair, the AC was powerful, but it felt like the temperature couldn't be adjusted high enough. Even at 27 degrees Celsius, it was freezing. When we told the front desk, they said we'd have to turn it on and off to maintain a comfortable temperature (ー ー;). Now for the positives. The biggest advantage is the hotel's excellent location. Lavender MRT station is right outside, making it incredibly convenient to go anywhere. There's also the Koufu food court nearby, where most food vendors speak Chinese, making dining very easy. Plus, the food around the area is quite good. Before booking this hotel, I saw reviews mentioning ants and cockroaches, but our room was fine, we didn't see any, so perhaps it's only in some specific rooms. Daily room cleaning was also very thorough and well-done. The staff were all friendly, although not every front desk agent spoke Chinese. Overall, the value for money in Singapore is quite high. You can't have it all, ^ - ^. In short, if you have any issues, just go to the front desk, and they can generally resolve them for you. It's quite good, and I would consider this hotel again for future visits.

The hotel's location is excellent. The bus stop is a short walk to the left, and the metro station is a short walk to the right, both just a few minutes away. The staff are very helpful and friendly, answering all our questions in detail and clearly. We were able to store our luggage for free after check-out, which was great as we checked out at noon and didn't pick it up until 10 PM. Getting to the airport by metro is also very convenient. As for the room, you get what you pay for. At this price point, it's one of the cheapest options in this area. The rooms are quite small; two people have to squeeze past each other to move around. However, it's a case of 'small but perfectly formed' – it has everything you need. Even hotels costing over a thousand yuan here only offer about 15 square meters, so for around 500 yuan, this place offers decent value for money.

This hotel offers good value for money on Orchard Road. It's perfectly fine for a solo traveler, but if there are two or more of you, it's better to book separate rooms. I don't recommend the breakfast, but the fitness room is quite good – a decent size with various dumbbell weights, a bench, treadmill, bike, and a stepper, and it doesn't feel cramped. There's a pool, but the view is blocked by other buildings. It's a good option if it's in the late 100,000 KRW range, but I wouldn't recommend it if it's in the mid to high 200,000 KRW range.

This is an older hotel with basic facilities. It's comparable to a 3-star hotel in China, and the breakfast is about what you'd expect from a 3-4 star hotel there. Of course, the price is also around 300, but in Singapore dollars. If you're not traveling with family, you'd find much better standard room options and accommodations for the same price. Our family of four stayed here specifically for the two large beds. The hotel's location isn't far from the MRT station. Haji Lane and BOSS HOTEL (the starting point for the Legoland shuttle) are all within walking distance, and there are many bus routes nearby, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, and there's an Indian minimart across the street from the hotel that's much cheaper than the 7-Eleven down the block. I misplaced something and when I called, they immediately knew which room I was in and what I had lost, which shows excellent coordination between the front desk and housekeeping. Thumbs up for that!

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Clarke Quay, Fort Canning Park, and more. The room had purified water available, and the power outlets were compatible with mainland Chinese plugs. The room had a great view, with a triangular layout offering sea views from two sides, though my particular room didn't face the sea. The outdoor pool was comfortable and gave a strong resort vibe. Just a small suggestion: the birdcage in the lobby is too small, and the bird looks quite sad. Could it be released, or perhaps replaced with a larger cage? Using a mechanical bird that chirps would achieve the same effect without the ethical concerns.

The hotel room was decent. Regrettably, there was no environmental protection card in the room, though housekeeping staff replaced my pillowcases with clean ones every day. The housekeepers were warm and friendly. I booked the room well ahead of time, and it offered great value for money in Singapore. The breakfast selection was not elaborate, yet all essential items were provided. The soy milk was thick and mellow, and smoked salmon was served on my last day. During my four-day stay, hot and cold dishes were renewed daily, which was a big plus. The hotel enjoys convenient transportation, around an eight-minute walk to the nearest MRT station. The hotel has several shortcomings: 1. Room facilities are rather outdated. My bathroom only had a bathtub with no separate shower enclosure. Installed against the wall, the bathtub made it hard to keep balance when standing inside, posing potential safety risks. Renovation suggestion for the hotel: install a standalone shower first if bathroom space is limited; both a shower and bathtub can be equipped only when the bathroom is spacious enough. Besides, low shower water pressure made bathing unpleasant. The bathtub tap delivered strong water flow, yet the shower head output was surprisingly weak for unknown reasons. 2. The hotel stopped providing bottled water for environmental purposes. It is recommended that the hotel install a water vending machine, as buying bottled water outside is quite troublesome. I had no idea how the built-in water filter dispenser worked and dared not use it. 3. The quality of complimentary toothbrushes was unsatisfactory. Some had leftover plastic burrs on the bristles and handle, requiring extra care while brushing, though not every toothbrush had this issue. Overall, the hotel is a pleasant choice and I would stay here again. I will bring my own toiletries and drinking water on my next visit.

This hotel in Singapore sees a lot of foot traffic. The doorman at the entrance, who was quite elderly, told me to push my luggage up the ramp myself instead of offering to help, even though I'm a woman. However, I saw him assist other foreign guests with their luggage multiple times, which made me wonder if I was overthinking it. The hotel is located at one end of Orchard Road, very close to the Botanic Gardens, which are within walking distance. While it's not very close to the MRT, there's a bus stop right outside. If you're coming from the airport, you can take a direct bus, though it takes a bit longer. The first Chinese staff member who assisted me spoke very standard Mandarin and was very easygoing. My husband and I stayed at Pan Pacific to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. The service was underwhelming from the start. The reception staff were not particularly approachable or welcoming, and we did not experience the level of hospitality we expected from a hotel of this standard. Our arrival experience was also less than ideal. We parked in the hotel’s car park expecting direct lift access to the lobby, but there wasn’t one from the area we used. We had to carry our luggage up the escalator and walk through part of a restaurant before reaching the hotel lobby. This was inconvenient, especially with luggage, and not the first impression we had expected from a 5-star hotel. One of our biggest concerns was the room amenities. When we called to request hot water, we were told to boil it ourselves using the in-room electric kettle. Normally, this would not have been an issue, except the kettle’s filter was rusty. We requested a replacement, but the second kettle was in a similar condition. This was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness. Another minor disappointment was the lack of basic bathroom amenities. The room did not include a comb or shaver, and there was no information indicating whether these items were available upon request. While I understand that many hotels have adopted more sustainable practices by reducing single-use amenities, clearer communication or the option to request these essentials would have been appreciated, especially at a 5-star hotel. The room was advertised as 46㎡, but it felt much smaller and more compact than we had expected. On a positive note, the housekeeping team did a good job of keeping the room clean, and the 24-hour in-room dining was a definite highlight and very convenient. The Marina Bay view was pleasant, although it wasn’t particularly breathtaking. Overall, there was nothing particularly memorable that made the stay feel like a luxury experience. Given Pan Pacific’s reputation, I expected much more. Having stayed at other 5-star hotels, I genuinely thought Pan Pacific would offer a better experience. We did not feel that the overall stay justified the price we paid. The atmosphere felt rather ordinary, and the experience lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and attention to detail we were hoping for in a luxury hotel. As this was meant to be a special anniversary getaway, it was disappointing that the experience fell short of our expectations. Everyone’s expectations are different, and others may have a better experience than we did. Unfortunately, based on our stay, we are unlikely to return and would consider other hotels for future occasions.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! It's so good, I have to say it three times! I booked a Bay View King Room, and before arriving, I was a bit worried after reading some reviews. But it turned out to be truly outstanding! The room was clean. For the same price, you can't compare it to what you'd get back home, but this is Singapore! The hygiene, convenient transportation, and surrounding environment are all top-notch, absolutely superb! It's right next to Funan Mall! Across the street are St Andrew's Cathedral and a museum. It's a maximum 15-minute walk to Merlion Park (900 meters from the hotel), 5 minutes to the Old Hill Street Police Station building, Clarke Quay, 15 minutes to Fort Canning Park's Tree Tunnel, 20 minutes to various museums and Chinatown. This hotel just looks amazing from the exterior and so we decided to give it a go despite the hefty price tag. The check-in experience was superb with Felicia - friendly, fast and efficient. She even offered us an extension on our check-out time (without our prompting) when hearing in passing that we have a late flight out. The room was surprisingly tight and cramped. The outlook was good though - looking into greenery which this hotel prides itself on. All would have been well if not for the bathroom - the mosaic tiles in the shower recess hid a lot of mould and dirt. It felt very unclean, not because the cleaners do a bad job but simply the design does not warrant effective cleaning. The water pressure is very low - perhaps why there is no rain shower (not that it mattered to us) for such a supposedly top class hotel. The water trickles out from the water filter unit. Limited bench space for toiletries. On closer look at the pool area, while having a spectacular outlook, it is again such a shame that similarly bad design or poor choice of material used, resulted in wear and tear being shown so much worst than otherwise. The supporting structure of the 'birdcage' cabanas that dips into the pool are badly eroded so it is not very pleasant when you are swimming near them. I would love to say that I would be back, because the staff and location are amazing but unfortunately, for that price range, I see better value elsewhere.

This was a wonderful hotel. We were told we could upgrade to a river view with a balcony and an extra bed for an additional $60, or a bay view room for an additional $120, and we opted for the river view. From our room, we could enjoy the night view of Boat Quay, and in the evenings, we relaxed on the balcony. The pool gets a lot of sun during the day, and the umbrellas aren't very effective, so if you don't want to get a tan, you'll need to prepare accordingly. Nevertheless, swimming while sipping a Fullerton Sling was exceptional. The breakfast offered local dishes like Laksa and Nasi Lemak, and there was even ice cream, which delighted the kids. Above all, it's a historic hotel located close to Merlion Park, and I believe it's definitely worth staying at least once.

It was alright. The hotel is very quiet, even rooms in the hallway. I checked and the walls are solid, not like the hollow, thin walls you often find in Singapore. I finally got some good sleep in Singapore for a few days 😭. Even with a massive downpour outside, I couldn't hear a thing. Breakfast was just okay, maybe not even worth it. You're better off eating at the hawker center across the street, or you can go through the door next to the hotel's breakfast restaurant directly into a mall and eat at Ya Kun.

Good location, cute decorations, friendly staff. However I would rather have things that function instead of just decorative. The room doesn't have a proper sink for face washing. Well it has but it seems to mean for tap water which takes you forever for either having a cup of water or washing your face. Inconvenient to call food to the room, despite QR codes are everywhere, it led you to an empty page which was meaningless. The receptionist desk is messy and half of the time i see none there, because they are busy multitasking.

Taking a six-seater taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around 130 yuan. There are also subway and bus stations nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. Hygiene: It's clean, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in. There's a direct drinking water tap, but no bottled water. The breakfast is very generous and tastes good. A hearty meal.

Enjoyed my stay here, the location is excellent, and price is so much cheaper than hotels in Singapore. It's a small room but has everything you need to work and sleep. The kitchen was well equipped also. Everything was clean and modern and staff were friendly. Walls aren't super soundproof - wasn't an issue as generally people were respectful, but just something to bear in mind.

The hotel's proximity to the MRT station was quite convenient. However, I found the room's layout to be a bit confined, and the stairs leading to the upper bunk were considerably steeper than depicted in the photographs, making ascent and descent rather strenuous. Additionally, there were some shoe marks on the toilet bowls, which I believe the hotel could address for an improved guest experience.

Had a great stay at Hotel Boss! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a nice bonus — big enough for a proper swim. Best of all, the hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations and popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore Singapore. Highly recommend!

This was my first time in Singapore and my first hotel booking, and it was great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. Celvin and Ainee provided excellent service. It's not that I can't afford other hotels in Singapore; it's just that Hotel 81 Palace offers better value. Highly recommended!

Private space but thin walls. Noise from other guests along the corridor can be heard. Although listed as newly renovated, the fixtures are far from new. The location is very convenient. Next to MRT station, bus stop and lots of shops and eateries.
