Facilities: The room was very small, not big enough to open two suitcases, but it did have a mini-fridge, kettle, and hairdryer. There was a microwave on each floor in the hallway, and you could get drinking water in the lobby on the first floor. Cleanliness: I stayed for two days, and there was no housekeeping service. It seems they only clean every three days. The bathroom trash can was especially small and overflowed after two days. Environment: The room was very damp, and there was a strong musty smell every time I entered. I had to turn on the air conditioning to air it out. Service: The taxi dropped us off directly on the second floor of the hotel. Self check-in was a bit confusing and there was no guidance to go to the first floor for assistance. As a result, our two rooms weren't even on the same floor. I'd recommend going directly to the front desk on the first floor for check-in; they speak basic Chinese. The room truly was super small. The hotel facilities are comparable to a budget hotel in China. They don't provide bottled water or disposable slippers. Singapore prices are definitely high; you could get a much better place in Kuala Lumpur for half the price. The hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for the subway and taxis. There are many eateries nearby. Ya Kun Kaya Toast had a long queue in the morning but was less busy in the afternoon. The Wok Hey chili pan mee next door was pretty good and suitable for Chinese palates. There's a small bar on the first floor with live music at night, creating a nice atmosphere. Overall, it's suitable for young travelers but not ideal for those traveling with children or the elderly.

The room was relatively spacious, which I really liked. The bathroom even had a bathtub, and we had a view of a church from the window. It's in a quiet location. The service was quite good, and they offered luggage storage. If you exit the hotel and turn left, you'll find the Esplanade MRT station (Exit A) on the Circle Line. There's a laundry room on the 4th floor; washing and drying costs 10 SGD, and you can get coins at the front desk on the ground floor. I didn't get to check out the pool. If you haven't booked breakfast, there are shops across from the hotel where you can grab a bite.

The pictures online were a bit misleading. When I booked for 3 people with 3 breakfasts, it showed a king-size bed with a sofa bed, but upon arrival, there was only one king-size bed. It was quite a squeeze for three of us. When we tried to communicate with the hotel, there was a Chinese-speaking woman who refused to speak Chinese, which was frustrating. We had to contact Trip.com customer service, who said there were no other rooms available. We then tried to communicate with the hotel again to ask for a sofa bed. The hotel said they would charge for it, and it worked out to be over 500 RMB per day, which for 6 days felt unreasonable. In the end, we reluctantly squeezed into one bed. Although we managed to sleep, it wasn't comfortable, and the bed was extremely soft, leaving us feeling tired. The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the room is quite large, especially the bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent, but the water flow from the sink was a bit weak – a suggestion for improvement. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from MRT Exit 4, but getting into the station itself takes another 7 minutes or so. We used the subway for all our outings, and it was quite convenient. The hotel breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up on if you took your time. The omelets were delicious and made fresh. Fruits and vegetables are very expensive in Singapore supermarkets, so we tried to make the most of breakfast at the hotel, where we could enjoy plenty of fruits, vegetables, and salads. Of course, if you want to eat out, it's also very convenient. There's a Great Wall shopping mall about a 10-minute walk away with many dining options. The hotel is right next to the Singapore River. You can walk through the hotel to get to the river and then stroll along it in the evening towards Merlion Park. Along the way, you'll pass two popular Jumbo Seafood restaurants, which are delicious but quite expensive and always packed with people. There are also many other dining establishments along the way, and the night view is beautiful. Hotel prices fluctuate a lot, so keep a close eye on them, even if you've locked in a rate, it can change. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Changi Airport by MRT. Overall, it's a decent hotel. There are a lot of foreigners staying here, and I saw many adorable foreign children. If you're looking for a spacious, modernly decorated hotel, this could be a good choice.

This was my first hotel in Singapore, and it wasn't too far from the airport. The hotel environment was great, and the service was warm and professional. The room was also quite good, clean and tidy. I was too tired from my flight that day to take pictures. The staff knew it was my birthday and had decorated the room with a cake beforehand, which was incredibly thoughtful. My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning. The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious. Overall, everything from the environment and facilities to the service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay. If I ever visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hotel, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

Very close to Haji Lane, about a 5-10 minute walk from the MRT, which is very convenient. The front desk speaks English, so Chinese communication is a bit difficult. It was actually my second stay there for business, attending conference at RWS convention center. The issue I found was, water leakage from air con. I found out only after later evening when I checked in and took shower. I reported and thought they would offer me to change to other room. No, that was not offered. They sent someone with equipment and clean the aircon. With so loud noise and that was 10+pm. However, this hotel has good location to Vivo city. For public transport and access to RWS.

Overall, the room was quite small and the facilities were a bit old. The bedding was clean, no bugs or anything. However, it wasn't a duvet but more like a blanket made of a large bath towel material. Let's just say it kept me from getting cold while sleeping. The air conditioner was clunking loudly at first, but miraculously, it quieted down after I adjusted the settings – I guess I got lucky. My child left the travel adapter in the room. Several hours later, I went to the front desk, and despite my broken English, the lovely front desk staff found it for me. A quick registration and it was all sorted. The overall service was quite warm and welcoming. Staying one night was acceptable. Oh, and by the way, there's no wet/dry separation in the bathroom. If that's important to you, make sure to check before booking. Many hotels in Singapore don't have wet/dry separation, likely due to space constraints. It's within walking distance of Clarke Quay, which I recommend visiting at night – it's very close. It's also not far from the MRT station. If you're up for a walk, you can even stroll to Fort Canning Park.

We stayed in a rooftop room with a terrace and a fantastic view. Pros: The location is great. The shuttle stop is conveniently named 'Beach Resort', and it's also easy to get to the express station – just a short walk if you don't want to take the shuttle. It's right next to the Skyride, and not far from where you can watch the Wings of Time firework show. We met the owner at breakfast, and he was very welcoming. We had breakfast and dinner once each; they looked simple, but honestly, the taste was quite good. And the pool, no need to say, was excellent! It's also wonderful that the owner employs people with disabilities. Cons: The room, including the bathroom, was very basic, like a guesthouse. There were indeed ants, and we even saw a large mosquito, but we didn't mind too much and managed fine. The reception is on the 8th floor, and the elevators and everything else are very rudimentary. If comfort is your priority, this might not be the place for you. However, the value for money is reasonable.

Facilities: All essential amenities are provided, including disposable toiletries, towels, bath towels, a hairdryer, and even a mini-fridge and an iron (though I didn't use it). The second floor offers a private space with power outlets and a desk. It's compact but sufficient; a 20-inch suitcase can be laid out on the desk, and downstairs, two 24-inch suitcases can easily be opened simultaneously. The bathroom has drinkable tap water. Cleanliness: Very clean, no insects or anything of the sort. Environment: I'm really satisfied. The hallway is very quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent; you can't hear any noise during resting hours. The air conditioning is powerful. Service: The room includes complimentary snacks, tea bags, and coffee, but beverages are extra. Every morning when I left, I’d encounter the housekeeping staff, with whom I could communicate using simple English. The front desk service is great, and they offer free luggage storage. Security is also excellent; you need to use your room key card to access your designated floor. From 3 PM to 6 PM, there's complimentary ice cream. Although breakfast isn't included, there are breakfast spots on the first floor and downstairs at the hotel opposite the All Seasons building, as well as in the mall across from the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Transportation is also very convenient! The MRT and bus stops are incredibly close, and Dhoby Ghaut is an interchange for three MRT lines. Bus 36, which goes directly to the airport, is also nearby (just make sure you're going in the right direction). One more important thing! Fort Canning Park is nearby, and the famous 'tree tunnel' photo spot is right downstairs from the All Seasons building! It's very easy to find, so if you arrive early, you can go take your photos right away. All in all, my trip to Singapore was made even better because of this hotel.☺️

The room design was not very practical. The lighting was rather dim. The bathroom floor was quite slippery even when dry, so extra care is needed esp. when travelling with children or the elderly. One particularly inconvenient feature was the fridge inside the cupboard. Aside from concerns about proper heat ventilation, the cupboard door and fridge door opened in opposite directions, making the fridge difficult to access. In addition, the cupboard could not open fully because of the limited space. The beds were clean, although the room overall did not feel thoroughly cleaned. Considering the room rate, I felt the quality did not quite meet expectations. However, this impression may partly be because we had just travelled from Japan, where small spaces were often thoughtfully designed and accommodation of a similar standard was generally less expensive. On a positive note, the staff were friendly.

My first stay at this hotel in 2024 was excellent, so I specifically chose it again for this trip, but to my surprise, the check-in experience was a huge disappointment. During check-in, the Chinese-speaking front desk staff directly assigned us a connecting room. We could hear the foreign couple next door talking and making noise crystal clear; the soundproofing was extremely poor. We were traveling with a child, and it was impossible to get any proper rest. After contacting Ctrip customer service, it took over an hour for the staff to coordinate and successfully arrange a room change. This positive review is specifically for the Ctrip customer service representative who handled our room change issue. I want to warn everyone to avoid connecting rooms 06 and 07; the soundproofing is bad, and the noise is severe.

I stayed in a Deluxe Room at the Carlton Hotel Singapore. The front desk staff included Mandarin speakers, though English was the main language for daily communication. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Before my trip, I emailed the hotel to request twin beds as I was traveling with my grandmother, but upon check-in, I was given a king-sized bed. The front desk initially said they would check for availability to switch rooms at 3 PM, but this was pushed back to 5 PM, then 8:30 PM, and finally settled for 9 PM. Thankfully, the hotel called precisely at 9 PM to confirm the twin room was ready. While the back-and-forth wait for the room change was a bit of a hassle, it was eventually resolved satisfactorily. The hotel's location is exceptionally good. Directly across the street is Raffles City, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Popular attractions like Merlion Park and Clarke Quay are just a 10-15 minute walk away. Several MRT stations and bus stops are also close by, making public transportation very convenient. Right next to Wild Wild Wet, my kids, who weren't very enthusiastic at first, became super excited once they saw the facilities. Being able to get to the ocean quickly and encountering wildlife we don't usually see was also a plus. We had trouble because there was no tissue or drinking water (though you can buy it at the shop), and while there's nothing that can be done about it, I was surprised by how ants appeared out of nowhere. I don't think we left any ant-attracting food out, but perhaps something happened. Despite these minor issues, the location was excellent, and the room was clean. Our family trip to Singapore lasted a full 8 days with the kids. Although the country is smaller than a single district in Beijing, I feel like I've had a fairly in-depth experience. We stayed at four different hotels, and this was our first. It wasn't the most expensive, but I felt it offered the best service: 1. **Food & Service:** I really liked the handmade noodles at the breakfast buffet – they were quite unique. We happened to be there during National Day, and the hotel gave us a box of chocolates. They then followed up with chocolate souvenirs for two consecutive evenings. 2. **Location & Transportation:** The location was excellent. It was only a two-minute walk to catch the Duck Tour, making the exchange and boarding process very convenient. We could also easily access the Sunset Flight. Although this year's National Day fireworks weren't visible from this location, considering we had kids and didn't want to walk much, the location was still very suitable. 3. **Surrounding Amenities:** The MRT station wasn't far from the hotel, and there was a shopping mall nearby. Transportation in Singapore is also very convenient, with clear MRT maps. For getting around, we'd take the MRT whenever possible, and taxis when it wasn't. Taxi fares weren't expensive, and it felt quite worthwhile, especially with kids and a lot of luggage. If I go to Singapore again, this hotel would be my first choice. When we checked in, there were a lot of people, and our luggage took over two hours to be delivered to our room. However, after we called the front desk, they immediately followed up. This was just a minor hiccup and understandable.

This hotel in Singapore sees a lot of foot traffic. The doorman at the entrance, who was quite elderly, told me to push my luggage up the ramp myself instead of offering to help, even though I'm a woman. However, I saw him assist other foreign guests with their luggage multiple times, which made me wonder if I was overthinking it. An utterly frustrating check-in experience. When I arrived, the first front desk staff member, without even checking my passport, reservation, or room details, confidently stated there were no rooms available. So I waited in the lobby for a while. That's when something strange happened: despite being told it was fully booked, white guests around me one by one successfully checked in and received their room cards. Only I and an Asian couple ahead of me were told there were no room cards. This was incredibly puzzling and infuriating 😡🤬. I then switched to another front desk agent who was very helpful and said he would do his best to assist me. Luckily, he managed to find an empty room for me to check into 🤔. So why did the first front desk agent lie to me about having no rooms and refuse me check-in, yet accommodate all the white guests? 😅😅 Are Asians so two-faced, even amongst themselves? I definitely do not recommend this hotel for Asians, especially those with Chinese faces. All in all, a terrible experience.

If you're looking for a hotel with great value for money in downtown Singapore, this is the one to book without hesitation. I was traveling to Singapore with my child for a competition, and I spent a lot of time agonizing over which hotel to choose, feeling quite anxious after reading many reviews. We arrived at the hotel at 3 AM. The lobby is on the third floor, and from the moment we met the reception staff on the first floor, we had a wonderful experience. It's true that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow, but the Indian lady there had a translation app ready and communicated patiently with us. She wasn't impatient despite our limited English, so the slight delay was understandable. The room size exceeded my expectations, it was clean, and the facilities were great. The cleaning staff also spoke excellent Mandarin. The pool was comfortable, and the water was very clean – my child absolutely loved it. It's only 200 meters from City Hall MRT station, and the surrounding commercial area is very lively. Funan Mall is just 200 meters away, offering a wide variety of food, including many Chinese restaurants, so communication in Mandarin was never an issue. Old Hill Street Police Station is 200 meters away, and within 800-900 meters, you can reach the Merlion, Marina Square, Marina Bay Sands, and more. The superior location is undeniable. I especially want to thank the reception staff on the first floor (I apologize for forgetting their name). My child needed daily injections, and the medication required refrigeration in the hotel's common fridge. Every day when I went to retrieve the medicine, they greeted me with the warmest smiles and proactive assistance. Although there was a language barrier, it didn't hinder our seamless communication at all. Based on my experience, I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in many of the hotel's reviews. To make things easier, I stayed with my younger daughter at Changi Airport for two nights, waiting for my elder daughter's early Monday morning arrival. Her flight landed at T3, and the hotel is right there in T3, so it was a seamless and super convenient transition! From our room, we could even watch the Skytrain and planes taking off and landing. The room itself was quite spacious. For food, drinks, and entertainment, everything is available inside the airport and at Jewel next door. If I hadn't booked this hotel, I honestly can't imagine if I would have had to sleep at the airport overnight, and what I would have done with my younger daughter. This hotel truly provided the perfect solution for me. Compared to other airport hotels, this one is genuinely convenient.

The Clan Hotel truly deserves a dedicated review, even from someone like me who rarely writes them. The hygiene is excellent, and our corner room had two massive windows. The metro station is right downstairs, and they provide complimentary snacks and drinks. While there's no bottled water, they offer a direct drinking water tap, tea cakes, and coffee. The front desk staff was incredibly nice; we checked in close to midnight and I left my phone at the front desk in a daze, but the lady kindly brought it up to our room. There's a small infinity pool on the 30th floor which is quite serene. I highly recommend this hotel for couples or families with older children exploring the city.

Marina Bay Singapore|1.58km from city center
Coming from another hotel, I felt a significant downgrade. The room facing Marina Bay was a construction site (I refused a Marina Bay-facing room when I changed rooms later). There were very few Chinese-speaking staff, making communication difficult (despite many Chinese tourists now). The room was old and rundown. The first room I entered had a leak (it was repaired, but not properly). In the twin room, the nightstand wasn't between the two beds, and the staff said it was requested by the previous guest (but I didn't make that request!). After changing rooms, it was arranged normally. Later that night, I found a strip of light in the drawer that wouldn't turn off, but it was late so I just made do. For breakfast, you need to go early, otherwise, there's a long queue. It's very convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Initially, I couldn't connect my phone to the hotel's Wi-Fi, and it took a long time to resolve.

This hotel offers excellent service. From the moment we arrived, we didn't have to handle our luggage ourselves, as the staff were incredibly proactive and enthusiastic. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and it was immaculately cleaned by the staff every day. The kitchen facilities were comprehensive, convenient to use, and of good quality, with a refrigerator, microwave, and oven all provided. The hotels booked through Ctrip are always of high quality, especially the swimming pool here, which had great water quality and was beautiful. My children had a blast swimming every day. This is a highly recommended hotel for families. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Singapore!

The environment is beautiful, and the service is excellent 👍🏻. The breakfast spread is rich with many choices. Upon check-in, we received a S$100 dining credit, which we used for dinner, and the food quality was great, definitely five-star standard. To celebrate my daughter's birthday, they specially delivered a cake and fruits. The chocolate cake was delicious and not too sweet, tasting very natural. They also arranged a room upgrade, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. This hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the location is super convenient. You can reach the Merlion via the underground tunnel or directly across the street, and it's also close to the Skyline. You can walk to many tourist attractions without needing a car, exploring the waterfront. In the evenings, there's live music. The only minor complaint would be some renovation and wall-turning noise in the mornings, but they have large Dyson fans for ventilation, and we usually go out in the afternoons, so it wasn't a major issue. By the time we returned to the hotel in the evening, the smell had disappeared, leaving the air fresh! I will definitely stay here again and recommend it on my next visit to Singapore 👍🏻! Thank you for the hotel's special arrangements 🫶🏻

It was alright. The hotel is very quiet, even rooms in the hallway. I checked and the walls are solid, not like the hollow, thin walls you often find in Singapore. I finally got some good sleep in Singapore for a few days 😭. Even with a massive downpour outside, I couldn't hear a thing. Breakfast was just okay, maybe not even worth it. You're better off eating at the hawker center across the street, or you can go through the door next to the hotel's breakfast restaurant directly into a mall and eat at Ya Kun.

I stayed here for 3 nights. While the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good, I felt it was overpriced for what it offered. It felt more like a business hotel than a full-service hotel. The amenities were quite limited, with only a small gym available. One thing that stood out was the lack of staff. If you need something as simple as toiletries, you have to go to the front desk to pick them up—they won’t deliver them to your room. During my stay, I called to request toiletries and was told to collect them at the front desk. When I arrived, there was a long line of guests checking in, and there was no staff member available at the desk. I ended up waiting about 5–7 minutes just to pick up the toiletries I had already requested. Overall, the hotel was comfortable enough and maintained good cleanliness, but considering the price, I expected better service and more amenities.

1. The location is excellent, right next to IKEA, and there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. 2. The best part is the shuttle bus service to various office buildings, which is very convenient for business travelers. They also have a shuttle to VivoCity, making it easy to get to Sentosa Universal Studios and other attractions. 3. The pool looked nice, but I didn't get a chance to swim. 4. The breakfast area was pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor seating, but the breakfast selection was quite limited.

Hotel boss is located in a strategic location and the reception gave us an upgrade Alvin Lee was so nice and made us feel welcome. The amenities in the hotel was okay but they need to check the treadmill because not all are functioning well. My family went swimming and said that it was nice. This is a super lively hotel and when I get back to SG we might get back here again

Very clean! Staff cleaned the room every day thoroughly and to a high standard. The air conditioning was cold, so I slept comfortably. The water pressure was strong. There are many restaurants nearby and transportation is super convenient. The bathroom has a bidet spray. We each got a toothbrush and a large towel. The universal plugs worked directly without needing an adapter. There's a water dispenser with hot water, a comfortable table and chairs, and a hairdryer.

A hotel was neat and clean. The room was exactly as pictured online. It's about a 15-minute drive from the airport. The noodle shop to the left of the hotel exit was pretty good. To get to the city center, you can walk about 10 minutes from the hotel to catch a bus; it takes around 25 minutes to reach attractions like the Merlion. Several bus lines go through the central area, so you usually don't have to wait long. From there, you can take your time strolling and enjoying the Marina Bay Sands view. Big shout-out to Trip.com for their super convenient airport pick-up process via the app. I found my driver right away based on their info. No need to worry about not finding a 6-seater car at 3 AM. Both the pick-up and drop-off services used a 14-seater vehicle.

I had a wonderful stay at Galaxy Pods @ Chinatown and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore! Prime Location: The location is unbeatable. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Chinatown MRT station. Everything you need—great local food, shopping, and major attractions—is right at your doorstep. Safe & Comfortable Atmosphere: Despite being a busy and popular property, all the guests were quiet and friendly, which made the stay very comfortable. The security is good as well—smart key cards are required for the main entrance, individual pods, and personal lockers, so I felt completely secure throughout my stay. Outstanding Staff & Service: What impressed me the most was their exceptional helpfulness. After I returned to Taiwan, I realized I had left a personal item behind. The staff went above and beyond to help me locate it, kept me constantly updated with photos, and cooperated seamlessly with my international courier pickup. Their honesty, efficiency, and warm hospitality made a huge difference. I will definitely choose Galaxy Pods again when I visit Singapore!

I checked in at around 11:30 p.m. and was hoping to go straight to sleep after taking a shower, but I couldn't fall asleep until 3:30 a.m. because of persistent itching on my back and an uncomfortable pillow. I finally managed to sleep from about 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., but then I was awakened by the sound of motorcycles racing outside. Overall, my stay was not restful, and I would not recommend this hotel.
