I stayed at the DoubleTree Luxembourg with my 80-year-old father, who is unwell and was extremely tired after a long day of travelling. Unfortunately, the room we were given was right next to the elevator motors, and the noise kept both of us awake almost the entire night. My father finally managed to fall asleep around 7:00–7:30 AM after hours of discomfort.
However, at 8:00 AM, there was a knock on our door. I opened it half-asleep, and the staff member simply said “It’s ok” and walked away. I later saw the same person again in uniform, so clearly they were a member of the hotel team. I still cannot understand why they knocked at that time, and what exactly was “ok,” especially when it was obvious the room had severe noise issues and guests could still be resting.
I shared all of this with the reception team and politely asked to speak with the manager. Instead of a brief conversation or even a quick acknowledgment, I was handed a handwritten note with the manager’s email. After travelling with an elderly parent who was in pain and exhausted, I was genuinely hoping for a bit of understanding or empathy. Even a short apology would have meant a lot at that moment.
I should mention that breakfast was also quite basic and didn’t match the DoubleTree standard I’m familiar with, so overall the stay was unfortunately far below what I usually experience with Hilton properties.
I’m writing this not to complain for the sake of complaining, but because the situation placed my father—who is already unwell—under a lot of unnecessary stress. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, this experience was difficult for me, and I sincerely hope management can review what happened and decide on an appropriate way to make this right.FromPHP 7,448

The room is clean and tidy, very close to the train station, and it is very convenient to take the City Walk from here. The hotel should have been renovated in the last one or two years, very new!! The bathroom is very spacious and very clean!! Much better than the Eurostar I stayed in before!! It says 3 stars, but I personally think it must be 4 stars. Lovely hotel with a classic ”grand” charm. Hotel was very clean, great service from the staff, and we got lucky with a view right opposite the golden monument of remembrance. Easy ＜5 minutes walk to the central square.
My only comment is that the beds are very soft, we had 2 singles on wheels pushed together which wasn't very comfortable for my partner, but fine for me!

Die Lage ist etwas abseits, der nächste Bus hält etwa 150 m vom Hotel entfernt.
Die Zimmer wirken etwas veraltet, und trotz des ”Bitte nicht stören”-Schildes an der Tür klopfen die Reinigungskräfte.
Der Duft von chemischen Reinigern ist sehr präsent, und die Betten sind extrem weich, was Geschmackssache ist.
Abgesehen davon waren die Zimmer sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt.
Die Wellness-Einrichtungen wie Sauna, Schwimmbad und Fitnessraum sind im Vergleich zur Gästezahl recht klein.
Das Essen entsprach meiner Meinung nach nicht dem Niveau eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels, ich habe schon bessere Erfahrungen gemacht.
Die Mitarbeiter waren jedoch fast alle ausgesprochen freundlich.
Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht erneut buchen, da mir das Bett zu weich war und das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen istFromPHP 6,923

The location is very good. I went out to play when I arrived at the hotel. I took a shower late at night and found hair in my bathrobe. It was too late and I was too tired to bother. I told the hotel front desk about this the next day. They were very nice and kept apologizing. I asked them to replace it with a new one because I had doubts about the hygiene of the entire hotel because of this hair. The front desk manager and others said they would compensate me for something. I said forget it and went out to play again.
When I returned to the hotel after playing for 5 hours, the room card was invalid! The front desk swiped the card again and went up to the room. I found that it was being cleaned. They were very nice and hoped that we could wait for 20 minutes. We went down to the lobby and waited for 20 minutes before going to the room. I found that the bathrobe with other people's hair was still there. They didn't replace it for me! ! ! I was speechless. I complained to Ctrip, and the result was that everyone from the cleaning staff to the manager came to my house. I kept insisting that it was a bathrobe, but everyone who handled it asked me if it was a towel. I was even more tired to deal with it. They directly told me not to come again and apologized. In addition to being very nice and saying sorry, from the front desk to the back-end, even the bathrobe and towel were not clearly communicated. The room was very clean, and the children's bed was a sofa. The space was quite large. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and it was spacious, with the toilet separate. The room came with free coffee, a fridge, and a microwave, which is rare for European hotels. You need to bring your own slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrush, or ask at the front desk. The handsome guys and pretty ladies at the front desk were all very enthusiastic. Breakfast was also quite rich. Right outside, there's a tram stop with free rides. Just a dozen meters away are popular photo spots like the Parliament Building and the Infinite Shopping Center. It's only 6 stops from the city center. The location is very convenient, just on the main street of Liberty opposite the train station, walk for 3-5 minutes. T1 tram to the old town for 2 stops (all buses are free). There is a food supermarket across the road from the apartment until 9:30 pm. There are several restaurants and restaurants in the Paris Square for 3 minutes.
The apartment is renovated in an old house. In addition to the narrow and long structure, the kitchen countertop has dropped a few small pieces of skin. The overall decoration is quite new and clean and modern. The heating is sufficient and adjustable.
Slightly insufficient: There is one bathroom, all two rooms are like this. This room type is still a jacuzzi, it looks clean but will worry about the hygiene of the nozzle pipe.
Especially good: the kitchen facilities are very complete. Especially the plastic box in the last picture provides two laundry detergents, dishwasher blocks and garbage bags. It is really convenient to wash dirty clothes.

The flat is well located and at close distance to the main train station.
Unfortunately, my experience was not good and I feel Queen luxury robbed me! I responded to an email and share my arrival time. more than three hours later When I got there on time 30 min after the allowed check in time , I had to wait for the cleaning lady to finish, 20 mins later.
There were lots of hair around (on the floor, in the bathroom, even the bed cover.
I had issues with their internet and couldn't access site and complete my work. I requested their help at 10:35 and was promised a technician promptly. I had to use a nearby coffee's Wi-fi. Five hours still nobody! I called again and was told the technician forgot to come by trying and fix the issue. Eventually they did reach out to help but I left the place a day earlier.FromPHP 11,113
