The front desk officers were informative and attentive to all their requests during the stay . Can you atleast do another aircond controller near the bed area. It will be an ease for guests to change the temperature. Its pretty tiresome to get up and walk to the controller to change temperature if its too cold or hot when lie down on the bed. I booked through agoda and request a lot such as high floor room, bath tub, sea view. Im surprised that they actually gave what i requested. Its a good stay. The toilet was clean. From$37

Stayed at the Mega Hotel during the last trip. It is a 290 rooms, 4 star hotel situated at the centre of town. It is conveniently located near eateries, pubs and retail outlets. Check in was a breeze into spacious twin bedded corner room 329. Room is well appointed and furnished complete with most basic amenities. Morning breakfast is served at the Chatterbox Cafe . It has a wide spread of breakfast choices from western to local dishes. Breakfast is up to the culinary standard. Hotel has a curvilinear layout swimming pool on the 11th floor which offers breath-taking view of the city skyline day and night. Function Rooms and gymnasium are located on the 4th floor. Despite some noises disturbance from the Discotheque across the street, overall the hotel is well recommended due to its central location.From$31

Just walking distance from Miri airport, this hotel is a real gem. The rooms are well-designed and well-lit (most hotel rooms are too dim for me), complete with ceiling fan so we could just open the window and enjoy natural air; and we loved the breakfast place with its high ceilings and good spread. Staff too are very nice; and special kudos to bell-boy/shuttle van driver Charles Ta. He was so nice and helpful (we were carrying a fair amount of baggage + two kids) - even getting us trolleys at the airport and, after all that, he graciously declined my tip saying he was just happy to do his job well. Hello everyone, I took my wife mother and my 1 year old son to Meili for a holiday. The hotel is really beautiful with all kinds of modern facilities. The breakfast was quite good (although the three of us only gave 2 coupons). But the hotel facilities are quite good. The only problem is that there are few halal restaurants nearby. It would be best if renting a car here and parked at the hotel. (We rented for three days), other facilities are good. We prefer the cheap rooms so the rooms don’t have a good view (actually in the middle of the corridor.) Overall the experience was quite good.From$31

It all depends at what price you got this hotel for. I got it under 40 dollars so no complaints in general . The hotel is very near to Canada Hill. The hotel has seen better days. Decent room with tv but no channels . No fridge. The Bath room has a washbasin and shower in the bath tub but no tap. There is no Comod shower which is a common thing in Asian hotels usually. Biggest problem is there are no good place to eat nearby . You have to walk at least 800 meters to get a food court . There are 2 convenience store bang opposite the hotel. The hotel staff is very poorly trained they have no idea about the neighbourhood and local sightseeing attractions. Do visit Coco Cabana and Canada Hill for view .From$15

Pros (+) - Very affordable (family room with 2 beds is around $90+ RM) - Accessible location (you can easily walk to get to stalls and local eateries) Cons (-) - Hotel is really old & outdated - Room is unhygienic (Toilet smells like urine, Sink are clogged) - Poor maintenance on amenities (aircond takes a long while before fully functional) - Missing some basic features (iron, hot drinks, toothbrush etc) Verdict: If you are on a budget or does not plan to stay at the hotel for long periods of time, this hotel would be fine as it is very affordable and has good location if you plan to explore the city by walking. This little hotel served my purpose very well...initially booked 2 nights just to try it out but was satisfied with everything hence extended to 2 weeks stay lol (travel restriction due to COVID). Strategically located at Jalan Brooke, very easy to spot. Have their own convenient store at the lobby. Otherwise other 24hr mini mart also available behind the hotel. Places to eat & shop within 10 mins of walking distance. Single room is spacious compared to other inns/hotels within the same league. Daily housekeeping provided (cleanliness assured). Floor to ceiling windows provided natural lighting (very important otherwise it would be depressing). Internet connection most of the time quite fast, sometimes lag especially during night time. The hotel was next to a club and it was noisy all night. The room smelt like cigarettes. When I went into the bathroom there was only one towel. When I went down to get a another one the front desk person looked at me and said “yeah because it was raining we couldn’t get them dry.” finally after some time he came back from the back with a clean towel. The internet kept cutting in and out. When we went down to ask if the internet was working downstairs the front desk he said “yeah it happens all the time.” SOLD OUT

Exceptional hospitality! First of all, there was 4 of us traveling. Two of our friends couldn’t make it to the trip. The rest of the two of us were given an upgrade to suite room!! Room was very clean, beautiful and everything we needed. We were so given a front entrance parking- which was amazing for us. Second of all, the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We appreciate the warm welcome, the complimentary drinks upon arrival and damp towel given for us to wipe- it makes us feel very royal lol! It was a 1hr drive from Miri city to the resort. The condition of Miri-Bintulu road was very challenging as its under major maintenance. We basically on 50km/hr. The resort is a good place for family get together esp when we have limited access to the internet & calls. There are a lot of physical activities you can do there in a group or solo. The parking space in front of the block was obstructed with flower pots and it is quite hard to maneuver car to do reverse parking in rainy nights that i experienced. The entrance was on higher ground and need to go up staircase to go to my room. The room kinda okay just the bathroom was abit dirty and smells moldy. The bed sheets smells okay. Very comfortable beds but the rooms are tight. We stayed in a deluxe family room which had two queen beds that didn’t leave much room for much else. We had a tv on the wall between the beds and really didn’t want for much else. The desk and chair was small, a small bar fridge and a separate glass privacy area for a shower and loo. Though the location of the Hotel is on the highway road side, is not directly accessible for driving. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There eateries located in the same building, from Western food to Asian cuisine food court. There is a twenty four hour dobi, a car wash and a convenient store. I book kingsley hotel miri ,after I check in I go to my room and I saw inside hotel mat very dirty and smelly I thought inside room should be ok what I saw in website but once I enter my room inside too much smelly than outside room even u can’t stand for couple of minute,I complaint to reception than they bring me to other room and there also same thing I don’t want to stand anymore there ,I go counter and asked them for check out but they told me we can’t refund you any money,if anyone plan to stay here please don’t ever stay here otherwise you will just waste your money on this hotel.From$25

My partner and I love the hotel/apartment reception, you feel like you are at home when you are away from home. The apartments are simple but have kitchenware, microwave facilities and a small fridge. The price of the room is reasonable and acceptable for a serviced apartment. It takes only 5 minutes to drive to Miri City from the apartment/hotel. A shopping mall (Merdeka Mall) is right next to the hotel/apartment, and there are many halal foods in the mall.From$24
