If you don't want to stay in a hostel with shared bathrooms, this is a great place to stay in Kazungula! It's clean, with hot showers, and the rooms are cozy. The owner, Mr. H, is German (or of German descent) and very friendly. He offers tons of travel advice, just like a friend, so you don't have to worry about being in an unfamiliar area. While the location is a little tricky to find, the owner will provide directions. I took a taxi from the Zambian border, which cost about 100 Pula.

Rustiek Hotel, Kasane – A True Gem! Our stay at Rustiek Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The place is quirky in all the right ways—full of character, charm, and warmth—while still being very comfortable. It ended up being the highlight of our entire time in Africa, which is saying a lot given everything we experienced on this trip. The atmosphere feels personal and welcoming, and every detail adds to its unique vibe. Thank you to everyone at Rustiek for making our stay so memorable. We left with big smiles and full hearts, and we’ll be recommending you to anyone visiting Kasane!

The River View Lodge was friendly and clean and was quiet as well as located very close to all the excursions. I would highly recommend it. The food was also surprisingly good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and organized a trip to the Victoria Falls for us, picking us up at the inn. The room was impeccably clean with a nice modern shower and breakfast was included.

Great experience - cozy rooms, good spa treatments, and interesting wine list. Breakfast could be improved.

Average plus for the price. Quite expensive for the country but in the norms of hotel prices in Kasane.
