The breakfast is very rich, and the location is also good. It is diagonally opposite the east park, so it is very convenient for shopping and travel. Next to the conference center, if there is no traffic jam to the airport, it will take half an hour to forty minutes, probably, it is a relatively long hotel.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. They have done an amazing job from top to bottom. No detail has been overlooked. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and still set yourself miles apart with an amazing staff and wonderful service. Form the moment i arrived,I was made to feel special. Everyone had a smile on their face and did everything they could to make me feel welcome. the hotel employee, Nadeen, Sidney ,Gift, more of the name i didn't recall all are morvoluse. The rooms are comfortable and incredibly well designed. I stayed in room 6011, which has one of the two balconies in the hotel and from which you can see out facing the the mall. anything you need is a quick phone call away. Or you can just pop your head outside and ask someone at the restaurant for help...there are no shortage of willing participants. As I said, I cannot say enough and could go on forever. If you want to know more, please just message me. I am happy to go into much greater detail. But the bottom line - I recommend this hotel without reservation...to anyone...go as much as you possibly can.

Overall, this renovated property is very good. Some highlights: First, the staff is well trained and friendly. One of the (baggage) greeters named Fred was always friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. A similar commendations could be made for the front desk and fitness center staff. Second, my room was nicely appointed and impeccably cleaned each day. A big plus! Third, the large fitness center has almost brand new equipment. Fourth, the breakfast is outstanding! In addition, the breakfast room on the top floor provides a bright and welcoming atmostphere. My only negative to comment on would be the evening dinner. You cannot order of the menu in the main restaurant; the only option is a dinner buffet. I actually like dinner buffets; but, unfortuantely, the dinner buffet at the restaurant was underwhelming -- overcooked meats and dry cakes for dessert. Despite this one negative, the hotel is a true 5 star property. I will defintely look to stay here again when in Lusaka.

Best hotel in lusaka!! Enjoyed a wonderful night in the hotel with my girlfriend. The staff was really helpful and caring arranged us a covid test in our room even though the company they mainly use was not able to give our results in time since we had a early flight in the morning and we had a late check in they arranged us another company which let us not miss our flight. The room was super clean and modern. There is a bar/restaurant at the roof floor and a gym thats open 24 hours a day. The food was impressive and basically every detail about the hotel amazed us after struggling to reach lusaka from mazabuka.

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip, luck was super good, the first day of check-in met owner, a smiling overseas Chinese, very helpful. The bacon for the hotel breakfast is delicious and the hotel service staff is in place. Business hotels are worth two or three brushes. It is about 30 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off service and sends email in advance. If you are not familiar with Zambia, you can consult the hotel front desk and be very enthusiastic.

First of all, the pick-up and drop-off of this hotel is based on the number of people! One person 350 gwacha, we two 700 kwacha! When I left, I went to the airport to take a taxi. One car was 350 kwacha at a time. Everyone wanted to pick up the hotel. Secondly, after the online payment of the room rate was actually deducted from the store, I always stressed that I had already paid the room rate. The front desk told me that I would not repeat the charge, but I found that I was deducted after the checkout. The refunded money has not arrived, according to the hotel, it will take a month! The list that was given to me when I left was still wrong, and I gave it to others. And the hotel does not have money change service, the restaurant is only one on the 9th floor, will not choose this one! I don't even trust Ctrip! The information given to me is completely inconsistent with the hotel! Although I have been following up to solve the big money, I have not returned!

SIMPLY OUTSTANDING is how I would describe my first-ever incredible experience to the Ciela Resort in Lusaka, Zambia during my visit from 10 Sept – 14 Sept. I can’t say enough about the absolute professionalism and hospitality of every employee we ran into. Their smiles and courteous engagement(s) were first class all the way! The dining & food quality was indeed something to positively remember. I must give special kudos to the superb manager – Mr. Andries Brink. His exceptional performance for making guests feel like they’re family was most impressive. He personally went out of his way to ensure (at minimum) that I and eight other colleagues were taken care of as our luggage was lost by the airlines for the entire time we were visiting. Andries took us to obtain clothing items, sundries, and anything else we needed. Additionally, he stayed actively involved / connected with the various airlines and retrieving our luggage from the airport when it showed up and bringing it back to us. Mr. Brinks (and team) truly deserve the highest hospitality award that can be bestowed on an organization. They singlehandedly ensured that I would remain a loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer and will brag about this sincere experience with many other high-profile leaders I commensurate with. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Weird weird weird, that's how I'd describe my stay at Mika- Apparently they don't take bookings from Trip but are still on the app and have a number of reviews from people! They eventually accepted the booking and let us stay - The place resembled something from The Shining - EMPTY, quiet and eerie ! Location is good because it's near to the airport but don't stay here for any longer than needs be ! Also DO NOT book the airport transfer it is extortion ! Rather download ULENDO the app and book a taxi in advance with them! Mika were charging 300 PP - We got the taxi for 115 in total! Bed was comfortable, room was relatively clean but very meh overall - Pictured is the absolutely packed restaurant 🤭

Nice staff and location for this hostel, but it's pretty worn out and too many animals wondering around (dogs, goats, chickens) for us. Would probably not stay here again when there are better options in the area. The pool is more of a green pond and while the AC worked in our room, we had to threaten to leave to get a remote to control it. This place is probably fine if you need a cheap crash pad. That said, it was quiet at night and the owner (British) and his wife (Zambian) are very helpful. ADDENDUM: How to get from Lusaka to Lake Malawi and back by bus/car. I'm publishing our account of travel from Lusaka Zambia to Lake Malawi (in Malawi of course) because there are many details can can cause problems. 1. There are bus lines (large coaches) that depart the ”Inter-city bus terminal” in Lusaka at 5, 6 and 7 am each day and go to Chipata (eastern end of Zambia near Malawi border), 7.5 hours (they tell you 6 hours, but it takes 7.5 both ways!) 2. There are several companies, we took Jonda because we read it is reliable. 3. Buy your tickets the day before if you want a reserved seat. Otherwise, show up 45 min to 1 hour before departure time and buy tickets on the spot. 250 Zambian per person. No credit cards. 4. The bus station is a mess and you will be swarmed by touts and taxi drivers etc. A firm ”NO” to those trying to carry your luggage does the trick. 5. Avoid resellers (touts) of tickets and buy from the Jonda Bus Tours office only! It is called ”Jonda Office Lsk” on Google maps. 6. Our bus east to Chipata left on time, but our return bus from Chipata to Lusaka left 1 hour late. 7. Bring snacks and water. The bus takes a 10 min potty break at the half way point. Local food stalls are selling some stuff, but it is a bit unappealing. Bring your own toilet paper as well. Sun screen if you sit by the window is also good. It gets hot by noon and the windows are open. No AC or toilet on the bus. 8. The bus seats are split into 2 one one side of the aisle and 3 on the other. Grab a 2 seat combo if alone or a 3 seat combo if with a partner for greater comfort. Neither bus we took was more than 50% full. 9. When you arrive at the small bus station in Chipata, you will be swarmed again. We stayed overnight in Chipata to break up the trip. A taxi to local hotels (5-8 min away) should only be 30 Zambian during the day. We stayed at the Crossroads Lodge and it was fine. Restaurant/bar and AC in all rooms. About 450 Zambian (credit cards accepted). There are cheaper places if needed, but not many accept internet bookings! 10. In Chipata there are a few shops and cool open air dance club called ”Blue Gums” (after the Blue Gum trees on the property) that was good fun from 9pm on. They have food too. 11. The next morning take a taxi for 100 Zambian to the Malawi border (your hotel can arrange a driver they trust). It's only about 20 minutes. Note the drivers like to ask for half up front to buy fuel. They
