I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heritence and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The welcome we received upon arrival was unparalleled compared to any other hotel I've stayed at. The staff greeted us warmly and went out of their way to ensure we felt at home immediately.
The service at the pool bar was outstanding. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and made excellent cocktails. The pool itself was pristine and provided a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating and beautiful surroundings.
To our delight, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The upgraded room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views.
Throughout our stay, we encountered staff who were not only polite but also highly professional. They were always ready to assist with any request and did so with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests.
The location of the hotel is another highlight. It's conveniently close to the airport, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. Additionally, it's situated near a beautiful beach, allowing us to enjoy the sun and sea within minutes of leaving our room.

It's very close to the airport, about a quarter of an hour's drive. I chose this place to catch the flight to Male the next morning.
The facilities and environment are considered clean in the resort. There are no problems with air conditioning and hot water for showers. The hotel also provided take-away breakfast when I left the next morning, which was unexpected and gratifying.
It's just that the local service staff like to ask for tips very directly, but because I didn't ask her to carry the luggage or do anything else, I decisively refused. Of course, this didn't affect me at all, but just reminded Chinese people who want to come to Lanka to play that they should learn to say no. It's too easy to be cheated.From$42

This hotel is the most cost-effective in my trip. The previous two adults and one child were all over 2000, but here there is no need to add a bed. It is within three digits. I saw that the room next door costs more than 2,000. The room is large and the balcony is also super large. The front desk helped us upgrade the room for free. The whole hotel feels like a resort. It is in the villa area and very quiet. Next time I come to Negombo, Sri Lanka, I must stay two more nights.From$96

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.SOLD OUT

The hotel I chose for transit in Negombo is roughly equivalent to the level of a three-star hotel in China. The breakfast is self-service with a wide variety of options, and the fruits and banana yogurt are well received. Check-in was very fast, and I give a thumbs up to the guy at the front desk. I gave the guy who carried the luggage a tip of 100 rupees, and he seemed very happy. What I was not satisfied with was that I booked a superior king-size bed room, but ended up getting a double standard room. I don't know if there was a problem with the system. Also, the plug of the washbasin was blocked, and I didn't know how to open it🥹From$142

Nice hotel, rooms are clean and spacious. Service on the resort is great. Resort has 3 swimming pools and beachfront. However, the beach was not clean, was a lot of garbage on the beach. Maybe due to a season, we couldn’t swim in the ocean. Overall our stay was pleasant. The hotel is about half an hour away from the airport. You can book a shuttle at the front desk for about US$20 per trip. There is a beach downstairs, but the beach is a bit dirty and the sand is co****. The room is quite clean, you need to bring your own slippers, but the soundproofing is average. There is a KTV upstairs and it is a bit noisy before 9pm. There is a bar and swimming pool on the top floor, which is quite large and has a good view. There is a restaurant on the 6th floor. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the restaurant manager. He is very nice and the pasta is very good. My brother who had a flight to catch a flight told the manager in advance that they can take it away. The price is about the same as at the airport, but his salads are better. There are a lot of colorful peppers and raw onions, and other dishes use some Sri Lankan spices, which are similar to strong curry flavor, so friends who are not used to it should order with caution. The sanitation is OK, the quilt has a little smell, the bathroom should be renovated, it's OK, but not big. The wardrobe is relatively simple, the safe in each room is different, and some are not fixed to the wall. The room rate is high because it is close to the airport (4km), and you may not be able to get a taxi at night. The Uber driver will cancel the order and raise the price on the spot. Some hotel reservations include free airport pick-up/drop-off, which is good, and the car is relatively new. There is a third-party business car that can be rented with the driver, and the round-trip price is OK. The service is very good, 90% of the employees are very enthusiastic. The communication with the duty manager is also relatively smooth. There is a souvenir shop downstairs where you can buy recharge cards. The seafood noodles in the Chinese restaurant are not bad. -Location is in the opposite direction from the airport to the city. If you have short stay in Colombo and you want to see Colombo as much as possible, the location is not great for you.

The hotel was very nice and smiling Jess girl, very fast settled in the room, breakfast was continental for our choice, delicious but coffee soluble. The pool is good, medium size, we often swam in it. To the sea go minutes 7, the sea in November with waves and dirty, the beach is not very clean, lots of locals and Hindus. The staff were warm and thoughtful. The breakfast and dinner were in the villa. The chefs are good at cooking. , Also sent us local wine and yogurt, the payment is settled in US dollars. It is a small and beautiful hotel.
Arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, the boss had waited there and welcomed us warmly, gave us a local very special sour and sweet drink, and then patiently introduced us to the relevant information.
The layout of the homestay is very beautiful. The water pressure and water temperature are very suitable when taking a bath. There is also a small balcony where no mosquitoes are encountered. Going downstairs at night, the sound in the living room is playing music, so emotional! ! ! The breakfast time was agreed, but it was 20 minutes late and we were not urged. When we arrived at the restaurant, the proprietress brought the breakfast up, warm, and the boss patiently and politely introduced us to each kind of food.
Very rich breakfast, you can choose black tea or coffee, with drinking water and fruit drinks, sausage and flown fried eggs, I love it! Local specialties of pasta and fruit, mainly sweet, roasted toast, as well as jam and butter, don't be too perfect ～
The boss and the proprietress get along very comfortable, and the speech behavior makes people feel very friendly and enthusiastic. When we left, the driver and we also said that we felt that the boss was very good and very polite.

落地科倫坡已是晚上9點多了，找尼甘布附近一家適中的酒店過渡一晚。從機場到酒店叫Uber，大概二十多分鐘到達。酒店在一個小巷子裏，大概是4層，沒有電梯。海邊特有的環境就是有點潮濕，房間裏也一樣。有個小陽台，早晨起來坐一坐還是蠻舒服的。早餐還是可以的，能吃得慣。走路到海邊大概10分鐘，路上有不少狗，別去招惹。From$115

Огромные номера. Есть кухня, всё работает.
Персонал отзывчивый. Были проблемы с раковиной, решили сразу.
В отеле есть бассейн с лежаками.
Море в 10 метрах. Но не рекомендую там купаться, во первых грязное море, во вторых очень опасно. Это не пляж для купания. Но зато красивый вид из номера на этот пляж.
Соседнее здание католическая церковь. 2 раза в день проводят мессу, утром рано и вечером в 5. Поют в микрофон, в принципе красивым голосом, но в любом случае выглядит как караоке. Затем батюшка читает проповедь прихожанам и все это тоже в микрофон. Я встаю рано, поэтому меня с утра этот караоке не напрягал. Будь готовы и осведомлены если что.
Минус ещё в том что в номере появляются мелкие муравьи буквально через секунду как только забудете еду или хоть крошку оброните. В общем не оставлять еду вне холодильника и убирать за собой после еды. Но в любом случае клиринг каждый день или по запросу, они быстро справляются с этими муравьями. Они без обидные, просто неприятно.
Сам городок Негомбо ни о чем, делать там нечего кроме как провести несколько дней после прилета или до отлёта. Вообще нечего смотреть в этом городке. Вообще. Но зато много ресторанов вкуснейших морепродуктов. Мои рекомендации по цене и качеству Ресторан Jude Restaurant. Пешком минут 20 до него от отеля.
В самом отеле питание не предусмотрено, нет кафе или типа того.From$68

I saw that the room next door costs more than 2,000. The room is large and the balcony is also super large. The front desk helped us upgrade the room for free. The whole hotel feels like a resort. It is in the villa area and very quiet. Next time I come to Negombo, Sri Lanka, I must stay two more nights.
