This is a really great hotel! It's surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and two metro stations, yet it's surprisingly quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent. The room was very clean too. I saw online that it was renovated in 2023. We booked a triple room for our family of three, and it was a bit snug, but that's a minor point considering all the good things. We could still open our 28-inch suitcase in the hallway right outside the door. Downstairs, there are even manga comics to read – even though I can't understand Japanese, it's still a nice touch. They even have Kagura Hachi! It’s fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Osaka.

This hotel has a sustainability concept, means no water bottles or change bedsheets daily. My family is lucky to stay at the 5th floor where there’s easy access to washing machine and water dispenser. The cleanliness of the bedroom: the bed a bit dusty, making my legs itchy. Toilet is small typical Japanese bathrooms. Luggage delivery wise, u need to scan a qrcode and do it ourselves and later pass to the front desk before 10am. Staff service is professional, speak short and sweet. Location wise is quite convenient. Walking distance to kuromon market and 10min walk to shinsaibashi from namba. From namba station to hotel, there’s a long walk so families with old members need to find a cab. Easy to get a cab or uber since hotel is located roadside. For a 4-star hotel with expensive room price, there’s many “self-service” and hygiene issues I don’t think is worth it.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka during my trip to Osaka. The hotel has a beautiful boutique style with a warm and elegant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed. One of the things I loved most was the subtle aroma throughout the hotel, which created a very calming and refreshing ambiance. The thoughtful amenities were also impressive, especially the beauty set provided in the room, which was a lovely extra touch and made the stay feel more premium and comfortable. The staff were polite and welcoming, and everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Osaka who wants a stylish, comfortable, and more meaningful travel experience. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely top-notch! I'd have to say that while it's incredibly convenient for USJ, other attractions are a tiny bit further out. I'm not giving it a perfect score just so they don't get too proud. Everything else was super, super, super satisfying! The hot springs are fantastic, with an open-air bath. The sauna was incredibly popular and packed, so I was a bit bummed I didn't get to use it. Plus, there's a relaxation area after the hot springs where you can enjoy the night view, which is also great. It's just a shame some couples, for whatever reason, didn't go back to their rooms and hogged the space there 😅. The razors come with soap! And the toothbrush cups are color-coded!!! These little details are truly amazing! They also gave two full-body 'Kyuusoku Jikan' patches. I happened to sprain my lower back that day, and after a hot spring soak, the sprained area got really warm. Luckily, they had these patches – even though they weren't medicated! They truly saved me. The next day, I could move freely and my trip wasn't disrupted at all! The bed was also super comfortable! And from the window, it was even a river view room 🤣. When I left the hotel on the second day, the lobby was changing its flower display to hydrangeas, and it always smelled lovely, not like a cheap air freshener. I seriously can't praise this place enough!!

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

Staying at Zentis Osaka was a truly unique experience, like living inside a work of art. Designer Tara Bernerd masterfully blends the subtlety of Japanese culture, the elegance of old money British style, and Nordic minimalism into every corner of the hotel. Each room has a slightly different design, embodying the hotel's 'Art-in-Residence' concept. From the calligraphy on the walls to the cups you drink from, everything is crafted by Japanese artists, while the furniture is sourced from renowned Nordic designers. Every moment of your stay is spent experiencing and utilizing art, providing a subtle, enriching nourishment for both body and soul, truly reflecting the hotel's name: Zentis. I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast. The Michelin-starred chef has curated a menu that includes Western, Japanese, and vegetarian options, along with a small self-service buffet. The hotel is situated in the most vibrant part of Umeda. Just outside, a row of understated buildings hides many famous Japanese restaurants, most of which require reservations. You'll also find McDonald's and convenience stores just around the corner. It's only a five-minute walk to Central Island Park, and during my visit, the rose garden was in full bloom, which was definitely a bonus. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. 'Make yourself at home' isn't just a slogan here; they truly live up to it.

Location was impeccable, just diagonally opposite Namba and the Nankai line that leads to Kansai airport. Lotsa food in the vicinity of the hotel. The room looked new, were clean, quiet and relatively spacious for up to 2 people. By relatively spacious, I could leave open a suitcase on the couch at the foot of the bed without having too much issues moving about. The toilet was the standard Japanese style inbuilt capsule with the auto-washing WCs and nice-smelling shower gel, shampoo n conditioner. Other amenities, like toothbrush, lotion, shaver, cotton buds, etc. can be self-picked at the lobby for free. For the rate I paid, it’s definitely great value! This hotel is fantastic! First, let's talk about the location: It's a super convenient 3-minute walk from Bentencho Station. We found it really easy to get to Kyoto and Nara from here. The hotel is next to a residential area, so it's quiet, and it was lovely to take a stroll around the neighborhood. Food and Drink: We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but there's a coffee shop, a bakery, and a 7-Eleven in the atrium connecting the second floor of the hotel to the subway, so you'll never have trouble finding something to eat or drink. There's also a Udon noodle shop called 'Banya' nearby, and their tempura is delicious! Facilities: It has all the basic facilities. The self-service laundry room is on the basement floor. It costs 500 yen for a wash and dry, and the machine only accepts 100 yen coins, but thankfully there's a coin exchange machine in the laundry room too. However, the dryer didn't dry clothes completely, so we had to hang them to air dry in our room afterward. There are vending machines on every floor, which is handy for buying drinks. View: Absolutely stunning! Because of the hotel's height, you get a beautiful view of Osaka Bay, it's truly gorgeous! Service: The front desk staff were excellent. Even if their English wasn't perfect, they were incredibly patient and made a great effort to answer and resolve our questions. Thumbs up! 👍 All in all, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Osaka. 😄

Location: The hotel boasts an excellent location on the Yotsubashi line. It's incredibly convenient for tourists, whether you're coming from the airport or returning after a day of sightseeing, as it's right outside the subway exit. This is especially good for tired travelers, as you don't have to walk far. Facilities: The hotel is somewhat like an economy business hotel. The rooms are small, the hallways aren't very wide; everything feels a bit compact. It seems well-suited for business travelers or solo guests. Service: The service is good. You can pick up amenities you need from the front desk yourself. If you want your room cleaned, you can put up a sign; otherwise, they won't clean it, but they'll leave fresh towels and amenities on your doorknob daily, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel's highlights are its hot spring and free evening drinks. The hot spring is quiet and comfortable with few people, perfect for relaxing after a long day. 🌟 **Stunning High-Altitude Views, Osaka's Nightscape at Your Fingertips** The biggest selling point of this hotel is undoubtedly its high-rise location! All guest rooms are situated on the 16th floor and above. We were on a high floor, and through the room's enormous windows, the entire cityscape of Osaka unfolded beneath us. At night, the traffic lights on Midosuji Avenue looked like a golden river, and the distant Umeda Sky Building and Namba's high-rises glittered with lights. This feeling of being surrounded by the entire city was truly dreamy; I couldn't stop taking photos. 🚇 **Excellent and Convenient Location** The hotel is located on Osaka's main thoroughfare, Midosuji Avenue. While in a bustling area, it offers a peaceful retreat. Transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a 3-5 minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 13). Whether you're heading to Shin-Osaka for the Shinkansen or going shopping in Umeda or Shinsaibashi, it's only one subway stop away, or even walkable. * **Shopper's Paradise:** Walk or take one subway stop to Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and Umeda Hankyu Department Store. * **Daily Conveniences:** Downstairs, there's a convenience store (7-Eleven), a drug store, and many local ramen shops and izakayas, so late-night dining is never a problem. 🛏️ **High-Quality Accommodation Facilities** The hotel's interior design is a modern, minimalist business style, very chic. The lobby is on the 15th floor, serving as both a reception area and a sky lounge with expansive views. * **Room Amenities:** For its class in Japan, this hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms. There's plenty of space to open up suitcases. The attention to detail is excellent; in addition to standard toiletries, they even thoughtfully provide a hair straightener/curler, which is a lifesaver for women! The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the shower pressure is strong enough to wash away a day's fatigue. * **Executive Lounge:** If your budget allows, I highly recommend booking an executive floor room. The private lounge on the top floor offers unparalleled views. The afternoon tea desserts and happy hour cocktails are of high quality. Watching the sunset here while waiting for the night view creates an incredibly atmospheric experience.

Very easy and personal check in, lovely modern hotel. As far from traditional as it's possible to get but when you're going to universal studios and particularly if you've been used to small japanese hotel rooms and or beds in other cities, it's a welcome refreshment (noting we stayed in the king size room). We didn't take kids and it's clearly a family hotel - adults only were packed off to a separate part of the breakfast area. The breakfast was varied and whilst not my favourite offered a decent enough selection and takeaway coffee if you would like it. It served both japanese and (the local attempt at - as everywhere in Japan) western breakfast. Laundry facilities are the best we've seen so far - circa 12 machines (half wash half dry) but no changer for yen which is a pain (if you eat in universal city, change money at the arcade if you're willing to play a little there). Amazing location for universal studio (which is the only reason you'd be there) and we had lovely views of Nintendo World and Harry Potter from our room. Five minutes walk to the gate. Best thing they do compared to other options is start breakfast at 6am knowing many want to rush to the gate before 715am. Only the standard amenities but a nice moisturiser and the toilet was one of my top 3 (it's Japan, toilet ranking is a real thing) - they spare no expense in the room (although perhaps in the slightly plastic minion wallpapering elsewhere). Would stay again for universal but not for anything else - universal city train station is a bit gnarly as its a spoke off the main osaka loop - should be every 15 mins but out of service or cancelled train and you're stuck waiting 30 minutes. We got back from Dotonbori in 33 minutes so it can be done if you time it right.

The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The Imperial Hotel Osaka boasts an excellent location near Sakuranomiya Station, offering stunning river views from its upper floors and even a glimpse of Osaka Castle in the distance. Below, the riverside greenery and small beach create a serene and lovely atmosphere. The hotel has a vintage charm, and while some facilities show their age, it didn't detract from a comfortable stay. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and even the single beds were spacious. Room insulation was good, and the shower had strong, hot water, which was very pleasant. However, the lighting was a bit dim, making it slightly inconvenient for getting ready. This visit was specifically to experience the 'Miyake' (a term for the three most prestigious hotels in Japan) level of service, and indeed, this venerable hotel delivered polite and thoughtful service without feeling overbearing. For instance, when checking out, knowing we had plenty of time before our flight and planned to explore Umeda further, they proactively reminded us about their shuttle service to the airport if we were heading there directly. When we said we were going to Umeda, they even asked if we'd like to leave our luggage at the hotel. They also directly helped us with calling a taxi, specifying the destination, and handling our luggage. I truly loved their Japanese staff! However, it seems the hotel has hired some South Asian staff for housekeeping. I noticed some dust on the glass shelf in the bathroom and on the TV cabinet. But these are minor issues, and overall, the cleaning was quite thorough.

I originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.

The hotel location is great and easy to walk around exploring right in the middle of the city and you will find this gem ramen store open 24/7! The only disappointment was with the butler service or more the non existent butler service. For the price we are paying, I expected much much more from St Regis as I have been accustomed to at other St Regis Hotels. The hotel is beginning to show its age and hence the cleanliness part is coming into question when our rooms were being cleaned, I mean I am again nit picking here but it isn’t up to St Regis usual standards. The gym room is adequate but there isn’t a pool in a 5 star hotel 🙃.

I've stayed at this hotel before, and everything—location, transport, price, facilities, and service—was excellent. But this time, it wasn't good. 1. The staff weren't as enthusiastic as before. 2. The front desk guy said they no longer provide bottled water; you have to get it from a dispenser near the elevator. 3. The cleaning staff just tossed my pajamas on top of my suitcase. 4. There were some stains on the duvet cover... I stored my luggage, and I recall being charged for it previously. This time, when I asked how much to pay, the young lady seemed surprised and told me it's free. Mostly, having my pajamas thrown on my suitcase really annoyed me.

Although the hotel is quite old, I can say that it is well maintained and clean. Our room is very spacious by Japanese standards (given that Japanese hotels are notorious for having small rooms). The staff are very courteous and helpful. The location is good, around 10 minutes walk from the subway station. It is also nearby a lot of malls and restaurants. I think the only downside for me is that the use of some facilities (such as swimming pool and gym) requires additional charge.

We had a pleasant stay in OMO7 with our 4 yrs old kid, it's a very kid friendly hotel. The baby room, the drinking water supply and the self service laundry room made everything convenient. The location is only 2mins from shin-imamiya station, and near by got many convenient stall and restaurants and also walking distance to Shinsekai. We love the lobby and the outdoor area too, we enjoyed the free drinks/beer with the takoyaki during their pika-pika night where kid can have fun running and playing around. And not forget about the shuttle bus to USJ that made the travel much easier. The ramen we had for our dinner was the best through out the trip.

Had a great stay at President Premier Osaka Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities. The location is very convenient—near a train station and surrounded by 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Lawson, AEON, and a shopping arcade. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the wagyu beef. I also enjoyed the daily snacks and drinks at the lounge, which added to the experience. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely come back.

When planning my trip to Osaka, I was looking for a hotel with a good location and ended up staying at Dotonbori Crystal Hotel. To get straight to the point, this is a hotel I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation near Dotonbori. The biggest advantage is, without a doubt, its location. It's incredibly close to the heart of Dotonbori, so I could walk to the Glico sign, Dotonbori River, and all the famous food streets. It was so convenient to walk back to the hotel even after staying out late at night, which made my travel itinerary much smoother. I felt it was the perfect location for anyone planning an Osaka trip focused on shopping and food. The room condition was also better than expected. While rooms in Japanese city hotels aren't typically very spacious, it was clean and well-organized, so I didn't experience any inconvenience. The bed was comfy, allowing me to rest well even after a long day of walking, and the lighting and ambiance of the room were cozy, making it a great place to relax. The bathroom was also clean, and the shower pressure was excellent, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. The staff were also really friendly. The check-in and check-out process was...

The location is absolutely wonderful, there are about 3 convenient stores near the hotel, only a 500m walk to the nearest metro station and about 900m to Shin Osaka station, really convenient for those who want to explore nearby cities such as Kyoto, Uji, Nara and Himeiji etc. The staffs are really nice and the room is very clean, we will definitely book this place again for our next kansai trip!

The location is excellent and very convenient, though the room is a bit small – a common characteristic of Japanese hotels. However, they offer two cleaning options: the 'simple' mode is indeed very basic. The toiletries provided are Kao, not Pola.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel! It’s super convenient and comfortable. The location is great — it’s close to several train lines, near Donki, and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, so you’ll never go hungry. The hotel itself is clean and well-equipped with everything you need. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they’re very clean and spacious enough for multiple people to use at the same time, which was better than I expected. However, privacy in the shower area is a bit limited since it’s located on the first floor. You’ll likely run into people coming in and out of the hotel while heading to shower, which can feel a little awkward — especially if you’re not quite ready to be seen by others. I booked a triple room even though there were only two of us, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. We had plenty of space for all our shopping (which we had a lot of 😆), and it didn’t feel cramped at all. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Hotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout. Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space. It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed. When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel. Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!

Extremely satisfied! This hotel offers excellent value for money. You can store your luggage for free if you arrive before check-in time. The hotel has a washing machine (with a drying function) which is free to use (laundry pods are also provided free of charge by the hotel), and a free gym (with limited hours). The hotel decor is very new, and the room is exceptionally clean; everything feels brand new. It's just over 1 km from Dotonbori, about a ten-minute walk. There's also a microwave and a vending machine available.

The neighborhood truly is very colorful/unique, and overall, for the price, we were satisfied. This was our most budget-friendly hotel during our 3-week trip to Japan. The nearest train station is just a minute away, and we got to the airport very quickly. On the ground floor, there's a large table and a microwave. You can use the washing machine for a fee. You can leave your luggage before check-in, but not after. Housekeeping is only provided for guests staying 3 nights or more. Towel changes are only available for a fee. It gets very noisy in the evenings due to the train.
