Super convenient! It's only a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs (this is amazing! It totally satisfied my daily craving for 7-Eleven fried food!). You can grab skincare products and water on the first floor, and there's a coffee machine in the mornings. The laundry room is also really handy!

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station and consists of two buildings: the main building and an annex. The rooms aren't huge, but they're a good size for hotels in the same price range. They offer 24-hour hot water, coffee, drinks, and a microwave for heating food, which is great. Free luggage storage is also available. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was seamless. Breakfast was decent too. The only downside, if I had to pick one, was the constant stream of tour groups. It's also just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi.

I've stayed here many times and generally like and trust Ascott Limited, but my recent multi-night stay was quite disappointing, mainly due to cleanliness issues. On the second night, they forgot to leave a bathmat, and on the third night, they even left the cleaning rag behind. By the time I got back late, I was too tired to complain. The good thing about staying here is that all the staff speak English perfectly and service is very efficient. However, the room cleanliness really needs attention. Also, almost all rooms are connecting rooms, and during the peak summer travel season, it's best to ask if there are children in the neighboring room when you check in, otherwise, it can get incredibly noisy.

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

They were incredibly helpful whenever I needed assistance. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and I was impressed by how well the smoking area was separated from the rest of the property. Location was impeccable, just diagonally opposite Namba and the Nankai line that leads to Kansai airport. Lotsa food in the vicinity of the hotel. The room looked new, were clean, quiet and relatively spacious for up to 2 people. By relatively spacious, I could leave open a suitcase on the couch at the foot of the bed without having too much issues moving about. The toilet was the standard Japanese style inbuilt capsule with the auto-washing WCs and nice-smelling shower gel, shampoo n conditioner. Other amenities, like toothbrush, lotion, shaver, cotton buds, etc. can be self-picked at the lobby for free. For the rate I paid, it’s definitely great value! Highly recommended for couples seeking a short stay.

The location is absolutely fantastic! The airport shuttle bus goes directly to Universal Studios. After getting off, it's just a short walk following the signs. Right outside the hotel's back door, a right turn leads you straight to the subway station 🚇. We booked a triple room. It wasn't huge, but considering it's Japan and in the Universal area, it's probably to be expected. It was a bit snug, which is typical for Japan, but for the price, I felt it offered pretty good value for money. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right in the middle of a commercial center, with everything for eating, drinking, and shopping – a true one-stop shop. It's incredibly convenient for indulging in some retail therapy and delicious food. Here's a little tip for Universal Studios: If you want great photos, try to find one of the staff members. They are excellent photographers and the pictures turn out amazing. We randomly asked an elderly cleaning staff member that day, and it turned out he was a photography pro! Every single shot was fantastic, providing 100% emotional value. On top of that, after taking our photos, he even gave us some Universal stickers, which was incredibly touching!

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24. This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s very convenient for both sightseeing and business. The staff were genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with directions or questions. This was my first time visiting Osaka, and since I wasn't familiar with the area, I booked this hotel for 5 nights based on its good reviews. Our flight was early, and after a long, tiring journey, especially for us older folks, we were really hoping to check in early, even if it meant paying for an extra night. However, the hotel's official check-in time is 3 PM. I had contacted Trip.com beforehand, and they told me the hotel had agreed to a 12 PM check-in, but the front desk said they hadn't received any such notification and that same-day bookings weren't possible. So, we had no choice but to wait. Another surprising thing was that bottled water isn't provided in the room – this was a first for me. Also, the soundproofing in the room isn't great. Aside from these issues, everything else was fantastic. Of course, we understand that hotels have their own rules. There was a gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese and patiently explained how to take the train, where to go for fun, what to watch out for, etc. He was incredibly detailed and thoughtful. The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless. Outside the hotel, there's a hot spring, and it's very close to both the subway and JR lines, plus there are convenience stores like FamilyMart nearby, making it super easy to buy things. Overall, I really love this hotel. My trip was a bit rushed this time, and I didn't stay long enough. Next time, I plan to stay longer and will definitely book here again.

My teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed the onsen, night ramen, ice cream, and massage chairs. The Dormy Inn is very conveniently located—Kitahama Station (Brown Line) is less than a 2-minute walk away, and Yodoyabashi Station is about a 7-minute walk at a normal pace. Convenience stores and restaurants are also within 1–3 minutes’ walk. Aside from the cold winter temperatures, everything was excellent. There was no room cleaning during our 6-night stay; however, fresh towels were replenished daily. This is a quiet district, and if not for the winter chill, we would have gladly explored more of the surroundings on foot.

I used Osaka as my base for daily trips to surrounding cities, and for that purpose, this hotel was perfect. The bedding and onsen (hot spring) exceeded my expectations. The front desk is on the second floor, and after checking in, you can pick out your pajamas and a suitable pillow from a designated area on the same floor. Another highlight on the second floor is a free lounge bar for guests, offering complimentary drinks and alcohol. Many guests choose to grab a simple dinner from downstairs or on their way back, then enjoy it leisurely at the bar. The hotel's onsen has incredibly generous hours, operating overnight. It's fantastic to be able to soak and relax even after returning to the hotel late at night. There's a subway station and a Family Mart convenience store right below the hotel, making travel and finding food and drinks very convenient. While it's a bit of a walk to Shinsaibashi, the overall value for money is still excellent.

I had a wonderful stay at **Hinode Osaka** overall, and I'd definitely recommend it, especially for couples. The amenities are easily **10/10**. The hotel offers so many complimentary perks, including free alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, ice cream, laundry facilities, and a hot spring (onsen). These little extras really made the stay feel great value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although I didn't interact with them much after check-in, the entire process was smooth and efficient. Since we mentioned that this was a birthday trip, they even prepared a small gift for us, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The location is another huge plus. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and **Tsutenkaku Tower** is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing and food hunting. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the hotel seems to accommodate many tour groups. We noticed buses of tourists arriving almost every day. During peak hours, the hot spring could get extremely crowded—we couldn't even get in at times. The complimentary late-night ramen was also very popular, and we often had to wait around 10–15 minutes just to find a couple of seats. Overall, I'd highly recommend Hinode Osaka for couples looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent amenities. For families, however, be prepared for the crowds, as the hotel can feel quite overwhelming when multiple tour groups are around.

This hotel is simply the best, my go-to whenever I'm in Japan! The environment is great, rooms are spacious, and the location is unbeatable. Honestly, the hotel being so affordable was a major reason why I came back to visit again. The bathroom has a standard Japanese-style wet/dry separation, which even some much pricier hotels I stayed in later didn't offer. The amenities included something for relaxing your feet, haha, it still makes me laugh thinking about it! If you check in early, you can request a room with a view of Universal Studios. However, if you're a woman walking alone at night, it can feel a bit deserted. If you plan on staying out late, a more central location might be better. I told the front desk I'm a light sleeper, but they still put me right across from the cleaning room, which was really annoying. I was woken up early in the morning by the noise. The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. This time, I booked a room advertised as 24 square meters, but the actual experience was quite poor. It had an outdoor balcony, but the room itself was enclosed, so the balcony basically ate into the usable space, making the room feel very cramped. Plus, it wasn't cleaned properly; there was dust on the nightstand, which is really unacceptable for a five-star hotel. After discussing it with the front desk, they upgraded me to a 31-square-meter room. Their service attitude was still good. My advice for future bookings is to pay close attention to the room type. It’s also just a short walk to the Shinsaibashi shopping district, with many luxury brand boutiques nearby. Before my stay, I requested a high-floor, quiet room through the app, and the hotel accommodated my request by assigning me a room on the 27th floor. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. After checking out, I asked one of the staff members where the pickup point would be if I booked a taxi through an app. Instead of simply giving directions, she personally accompanied me to the taxi stand on Level 1 and even spoke to the driver in Japanese to confirm my destination. This thoughtful gesture really stood out and reflected the hotel’s excellent service. The only minor downside was the pillows, which I found a little too flat for my preference. The Imperial Hotel Osaka boasts an excellent location near Sakuranomiya Station, offering stunning river views from its upper floors and even a glimpse of Osaka Castle in the distance. Below, the riverside greenery and small beach create a serene and lovely atmosphere. The hotel has a vintage charm, and while some facilities show their age, it didn't detract from a comfortable stay. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and even the single beds were spacious. Room insulation was good, and the shower had strong, hot water, which was very pleasant. However, the lighting was a bit dim, making it slightly inconvenient for getting ready. This visit was specifically to experience the 'Miyake' (a term for the three most prestigious hotels in Japan) level of service, and indeed, this venerable hotel delivered polite and thoughtful service without feeling overbearing. For instance, when checking out, knowing we had plenty of time before our flight and planned to explore Umeda further, they proactively reminded us about their shuttle service to the airport if we were heading there directly. When we said we were going to Umeda, they even asked if we'd like to leave our luggage at the hotel. They also directly helped us with calling a taxi, specifying the destination, and handling our luggage. I truly loved their Japanese staff! However, it seems the hotel has hired some South Asian staff for housekeeping. I noticed some dust on the glass shelf in the bathroom and on the TV cabinet. Transportation is also very convenient; the airport shuttle bus stop is just a block away.

Overall, it's a great place. It's located on a very quiet street with a convenience store right downstairs, which is super handy for buying things. It's also really close to the subway station, just about a 5-minute walk. The interior design is quite interesting, and they have a full set of dishes, cutlery, and all the kitchenware you might need. One important thing to note: the main glass automatic door to the hotel building closes at night, so you'll need to use the side entrance to get upstairs to the hotel!

The hotel’s location is excellent, with one of the Shinsaibashi Station exits located directly beneath the hotel, making it extremely convenient. A slightly firmer or more supportive pillow would have made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, I found this hotel to offer outstanding value for money. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

We had a great stay at Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, making it easy to get around Osaka. It is not located in a busy tourist area, which gave us a more local experience while still being well connected to the city's main attractions. The service was excellent. The hotel provides a self-service amenities station in the lobby where guests can take items such as bath scrubs, razors, shower caps, cotton buds, tea, and coffee. It was a thoughtful touch and convenient throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Like most hotels in Japan, the rooms are compact, but we found the size reasonable and suitable for two people. One feature we appreciated was the complimentary umbrellas available at the entrance. They were especially useful on rainy days. Guests are free to borrow them, as long as they return them after use. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a convenient yet quieter part of Osaka.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Lounge would be better with more food varieties but they had a lot of drinks options including sake, champagne, wine and beer on top of the usuals which was great. One thing i didnt like is that their rooms are super tiny. We got a triple room and it was so tight. Next maybe two doubles is required for more space. Another disappointment is that they don't provide lotion which i think is a basic amenity. And that every certain hours of the night 10-ish -2am (everyday) you can hear super noisy motorcycles revving in the main street randomly. (I guess that's not directly their fault buy maybe they could opt for a more soundproof window or something.)

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was small, as is common in Japan, but it had very large windows and a beautiful city view, which made it feel more spacious. Overall, the room was comfortable. The hotel has a convenient and well-designed common area on the ground floor. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The location is good — the nearest metro station is a short walk away, and it was easy to get around Osaka from the hotel.

It's super convenient for catching a concert at Tokyo Dome! There are tons of shops and malls nearby, so shopping and dining are a breeze. I really enjoyed the breakfast; I love natto, and the Japanese rice was delicious, as was the salmon. I prefer lighter meals, and this place was perfect. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again. It's a small place, but it has everything you need. The front desk area isn't big, but it's very clean.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and got a great deal, probably because it was the off-season. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. We had an amazing overall experience during our stay. My child absolutely loved the rooftop area and enjoyed a lot (I’ve attached a photo of it!). The view from the hotel was also beautiful. Location-wise, it’s perfect. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Namba (the main market), and the surrounding local market area is also fantastic. Highly recommended!

This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!

Location: About 1.5km walk from the nearest train station exit, which may be challenging with luggage. Fine for backpackers. The hotel is centrally located near Dotonbori, close to the night market and not far from the Glico sign. Cleanliness: Very clean. No issues. Water heater works well, especially during winter. Service: Staff are helpful and can speak both English and Japanese. Facilities: Decent and suitable for solo travellers. Quiet at night with minimal noise. Water dispenser and laundry are available. Overall: Slightly far from the train station but well located for exploring Dotonbori, night markets, and nearby malls. Rooms are a bit small, so for two people, a larger room is recommended.
