|4.44km from city centerI am so satisfied with this hotel. The landlady gave me a gift before I left. The view of the sunset is absolutely top-notch. I stood on the balcony and looked down. The tourists all looked up at me. Foreigners praised me for being beautiful and even gave me a gift. I took pictures and the scenery was so beautiful. I will still choose this hotel next time I go to Santorini. You get what you pay for. It’s definitely worth the money you spend. Thank you again, the boss. The only thing you should note is that it can accommodate two people. Bring a Children over 12 years old need to pay extra, 80 euros per night

However, the property manager and the host like to play loose with the truth when asked about amenities listed on the travel sites, and are disingenuous about what there actually is on offer at the property. This is NOT a hotel - it is 3 ‘AirBNB’ apartments - and very few of the ‘facilities’ are on-site - the host and property manager simply tell you where on Santorini you can get things done. (“Oh, you thought the hotel had a spa? No, but there are facilities nearby you can use”) Amenities including: Spa: Facial treatments, waxing services, makeup services etc Or Dry Cleaning, Manicure, Body Treatments, Laundry, Canoeing, Room Service Or Fishing, Canoeing, Hiking, Diving, Horseback Riding are indeed available on SANTORINI - but NOT amenities of the apartment. “Oh, no, these are not at the property, but we can organise any of these features if you would like” Also, questions answered by the hotel say: There is a sunset view from the Premium Room. There is most definitely not. None of the photos of the sunset are from the Premium Room. The photo from the Premium Room is a carefully crafted photo showing a tiny bit of sea in the distance (south facing and not west for the sunset)through the courtyard entry door - which when closed (all the time one is in the property) has zero view at all. A Private Beach 7km away is mentioned as available to guests. This “Private Beach” is not Private with a capital P - it is a PUBLIC beach - it simply is secluded and some privacy (with a little p) can be found. We asked for laundry and we’re pointed to a laundromat in Kamari. Again, the room and location is very nice. But the way it is pitched is not genuine.

|0.8km from city centerI deliberated for a while with regard to the rating that I should apply to the Nostos Apartments. The setting is stunning and the apartments have all of the raw materials to be a 5 rated location. But when rating a hotel it should not only be about the location but also with regard to service, cleanliness etc and this is where I felt Nostos fell down. The main pool on arrival was filled with bugs, not just a few but 100s. I am not worried about bugs at all but I really do not feel a luxury hotel should have a dirty pool. I am talking so many bugs that it was obvious the pool had not been cleaned for some time, think if you leave a paddling pool in the garden for a week and do not clean it, this is how many bugs there were. I spoke to the two people in reception and I was told “yeah we get a lot of bugs here but I will get someone to clean it straight away”. 30 minutes passed and nothing, no one had even come to take a look, so I went to speak to reception again, this time they said they would get someone straight away (what had they been doing for the past 30 minutes?). Over an hour after my initial request someone came to clean the pool. I had asked to speak to the manager and eventually he came to speak to me, he said he would investigate and get back to me. I told him if he really does have a bug problem to have someone clean the pool every hour, it’s a small hotel and small pool. The next day the pool was still full of bugs (not as many as before), the manager when passing me by reception asked if the pool was now cleaner. It’s a small hotel, if someone had made this complaint why on earth had he not checked it (by this time it was 1PM). I said no it was still bad and I asked if I could have the net and I would clean it myself. This to his credit shamed him into action and I saw him clean it, and guess what the pool was then clean for the rest of the holiday. But should I honestly have had to be on at them for 24 hours to get this done! On my return I then noticed someone had also complained of a dirty pool from the week before us via another forum, honestly just not good enough. Other things to note are that there is no pool service (there is enough staff to offer pool service at least once an hour but they instead have 2 people sitting in reception and one in the breakfast room). Breakfast is OK but eggs were always cold when delivered. The rooms and views are lovely, I suggest getting your own hot tub with the room and thinking of this as more a Air BnB and you will be more than happy. The cleaners and the guys who take your luggage up and down the steps are very good. With better management this place could be amazing.

|5.81km from city centerLovely place within easy walking distance of Thira, the capital of Santorini. Our room was ideal and our balcony gave a stunning view particularly of the sunset. Access to the balcony is through a small door in the bedroom and may present a small problem for a large tall person but the view is worth the effort. The bedroom wasn't the biggest I have stayed in and you need to be careful not to bang your head on the air conditioning unit at the top of the stairs. Tea/coffee making facilities are in the room and a safe is provided. We booked a superior room which had a spa bath as well as a shower. The breakfast was served outside our room by the pool. Lovely breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful and gave tips on places to visit. There are nice restaurants close to the apartments. If you have a 3 night stay or longer you can have complimentary airport transfers. I would stay here again. We had room 2 and our son and grandson had room 3. I would say that these are the best rooms to go for. WE weren't concerned, but there was no TV reception. There is no private parking for the apartments but public parking is nearby though I can imagine it would be difficult to find a space in high season.

|4.29km from city centerAfter booking we gotten the advice to use transport to get to the hotel from the airport. When arriving it was really the way to go. And for 25 euro not to bad of a deal. The room was exactly as presented on booking.com and was very wel renovated and got the typical Cycladic style. The bed was a bit to firm for me personally, but that a preference. A night it was so silent, so getting to sleep was easy. This Due to the location away from the buzz of Fira. And good house rules for all the guests. The hostess and her family are such a blessing to get to know. We are already missing the warmth and welcomeness. Hopefully we get a chance to come back in the future.

|0.01km from city centerLocation: Finikia is a city located 5 minutes walk from Oia. It is also charming with white houses and has 3 delicious restaurants and much more in mind. We take a suite with jacuzzi. I had a view of the sea, but as not in Oia I had no famous view of the boiler (which is on the other side of the island). We were at first half disappointed (for we had not very well understood this issue of view), but then we found that it was much more advantageous for those who like to cut the jacuzzi in private. In Oia, it is almost impossible to have a jacuzzi on the balcony without having people spending all the time on the side or watching the street above. Jacuzzi: the water of the jacuzzi was hot 24 hours a day! It was just to get and get in. To make bubbles you need to press a button, which takes more or less a minute and you need to press again. Morning coffee: every day staff were bringing breakfast on our balcony, with bread, sandwiches, eggs, Greek yoghurt, butter fruit, jelly, honey, orange juice and coffee, with small variations from one day to the other. It was very nice to wake up and get out in the sun to have two coffee in the romantic mode. Attention: We were very well served, a special mention for Vasilis. When we arrived he passed his WhatsApp for the case we needed something. We realized around 22:30 that there was no cup of champagne in the room and we sent a message to Vasilis. I didn't think he would answer because of the hour, but half an hour later he came out with a bald, ice and cups. The room is clean every day and has facilities such as iron, hair dryer and fridge, and air conditioning. We went away with heart pain, we had to return, the stay was perfect and we could continue there for a lot more time!

|2.39km from city centerOur experience with Anna Pension was excellent! The staff was very welcoming and helpful with explaining the island, organising our rental ATV bike and how to get around. The room, balcony and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom could have been bigger but it was all fine. The pension has an amazing pool with available towels for the whole day which you can borrow if you want to go to the beach or just chill at the pool. Really nice staff, we needed a taxi to Fira and they offered to drive us. The only thing is that they forgot to pick us up from the port when we organised a bus transfer with them, but it was quickly resolved when we called them. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Santorini while staying at Anna Pension

There are ample places to park our car outside the villa. We are given a room with a balcony. From the balcony we can see the sunrise over the sea. Our room is clean and comfortable, and the wifi is efficient. Just one minute's walk away, there is a nice bakery, a well-stocked supermarket, and a number of restaurants. Central Fira is 15-20 minutes walk away. The owners of the villa are also very helpful. I would love to visit again.

|3.68km from city centerThe location is not far from the Ferra station. After arriving at the station, it will go to the right (uphill) and then sit down (downward). It is time to pay attention to the flower aroma suites at the door. The hotel has a great view, the balcony faces west and the sunset is especially beautiful. There are loungers on the top floor for easy sun and all kinds of pats. My room is a walk down, the room has a bath, so it is damp and dark. Water mist is on the door and on the table at night. The bath can't be completely turned off, there is no door, only the curtain, so there will be sound, it may feel a bit noisy. The entire bathroom is made of purple marble cubes and it feels a bit erotic at first glance. Reception is very welcoming, will ask you for your flight time, and also help print the boarding pass. Overall, the view is great, the price is very low in the off-season, recommended ~ PS: When I booked, I noticed the honeymoon room. After a while, the order showed the suite. Even the pictures were completely different. It was originally a bright white honeymoon room. The result turned into a purple and gray suite for the honeymoon trip. Left a regret. Be sure to take screenshots after you have finished!

When we arrived, after a lot of waiting around at a previous airport and from exposure to the brilliantly hot sunshine, my daughter was suddenly taken ill and Lila made sure we had a room very quickly, even though we were hours early for check-in. The location is so central and ideally located for travelling all over the island as the main bus station is just minutes away. Being in the centre of Fira meant that we could just stroll to the main square and try out whatever cafe or restaurant took our fancy. Lila recommended places to eat at and things to do and couldn't have been any nicer! We had a very comfortable stay of four nights and it was one of the best holidays we've had.

You really won't get a better one anywhere, unless you're paying top dollar for a hotel that's alone on some kind of a rock outcrop - Friendly and helpful check-in guy and porter (carried our bags from front desk which is in another location with no fuss or complaint) - Enormous. More space than 2 people need, and 4 would be comfortable as long as they don't mind a less deluxe bed. Two bathrooms! The suite has a funky, cave-y kitschy charm -Hot tub! THE NOT SO GOOD: - Condition of the entire suite is so-so. One of the showers didn't work all that well (control valve was broken or something). Various other things just not in great condition or high-quality to begin with - NO A/C IN THE BEDROOM! To me this is inexcusable. Thank god it wasn't too hot in late September, but it was borderline, and summer would likely be awful. The only AC unit was in the living/common room - VIDEO CAMERA monitors everything that happens on the terrace/hot tub. I would say the benefit of this for ”security” does not outweigh the loss of privacy. Be advised. Overall, as long as your tastes are not overly luxurious, it's a decent spot with a great view.

Hotel is practically near the city Center can walk right outside and down the street and go shopping or go to a restaurant and also see the sunset. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Vasilis, Olsi and family took care of our every need and beyond. When we arrived at Oia bus station Vasilis arranged a taxi for us at a considerably lower rate than the taxis parked at the rank. We then checked in, Olsi gave us a quick tour of the apartment and it’s features. Very kindly there was also a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The room itself is very spacious, well build and finished to an excellent standard. The cleanliness is second to none and this is maintained every day when cleaned. Olsi very kindly served us some breakfast snacks each morning. The patio area again is spacious and the view is incredible, perfect for sunbathing. The hot tub is just amazing, the temperature is ideal. I highly recommend sitting in the hot tub at night with a drink in hand, taking in the beautiful surroundings - extremely peaceful. The location is super good. Oia town is a 20 minute walk. There is a bus stop outside the apartments if you want to get the bus to oia which is around a 7 minute drive. Also if you get the bus from Fira then you can get off just outside the apartments - again it’s perfect. If there is every anything you need you can just ask Olsi and he will more than happily help. He really does go beyond what is expected and this is something that you rarely find in places like this these days. I recommend this place to anyone visiting santorini, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed at the luxury, scenery and service

Before we even arrived Panos was really helpful providing information and booking us a reservation at Armeni (which we would also recommend). When we arrived Panos and family couldn’t have been more gracious hosts. Nothing was too much bother. The location was great with several bars and restaurants in close proximity (we had a nice meal at 4 seasons). The walk down to Fira was around 25 minutes and had great views of the caldera which we did this a few times. The free breakfast has wide variety of choice with lovely views of the sun rising. The room was very clean and Modern. They were cleaned daily with regular changes of the towels and amenities. Finally through panos’ local connections and recommendations, he arranged several local activities for us, which again he couldn’t of been more helpful. Would urge anyone visiting the island to stay here, as you won’t be disappointed!

You won't find a better view except perhaps in Oia where the lodging options are much more scarce. Wonderful staff, great location, enchanting views. The complex is made of 4 independent houses, each very spacious with outdoor space with chairs or lounge to relax and enjoy the fantastic view of the famous Santorini sunset. The position is really nice, out of the hustle of Oia but still reachable with a 10 minutes walk. Vaggelis and his family run the property in a superb way. His mother Flora takes care of the cleaning and brings you breakfast every morning. Vaggelis is very helpful and friendly and is ready to provide you with all information about where to go and what to do if it We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this property if you are in Santorini.

For me, seeking a family room in the center at an affordable price was a great solution. New room, refrigerator, kitchen with minimum supply, boiler, daily cleaning, friendlyness and availability to meet small needs. The family room for 4 people is located on the ground floor, so only the blind bathroom and a little smell of closing when we got to go back to the room with the need to breathe a few minutes. The location is very central, a few minutes walk from the panoramic area on the boiler, from the centre and the very comfortable bus station to move without any means to the main places of interest (Oia, Akrotiri and Red Beach, The hotel is very well-known for families with children and boys who want to stay in the centre without spending a capital.

|6.39km from city centerMe and my gf after visiting Santorini quite a few summers in a row, we decided for this time to stay away, accommodation-wise, from the mainstream areas of the island where people are packed and there is constant noise from chattering and vehicles. Fisherman’s house helped us relax a lot with a nice and quiet night sleep and an rich breakfast on the second private balcony that the room had. The owner was occasionally passing by to help us organise our day by visiting some villages and recommended really good restaurants. The room was very clean, tidy with pretty nice decoration. If you are looking for relaxed and quiet vacations, at least while you are in the hotel, then this place is for you. Also it’s located very close from a few places where you can have an incredible view of the sunset. You don’t necessarily have to become a sandwich at Oia in order to get a glance of these truly unique views Santorini can offer. A car is definitely recommended for this location and parking open space was provided inside the hotel.

Even before we arrived we knew we'd have a great time as correspondence from the hotel had been fast and really helpful on the run up to our visit. As soon as we pulled up to the beautiful accommodation Thomas came out to greet us and from that moment until we departed he was absolutely fantastic. A huge credit to the resort. A kind, loveable guy who goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The whole experience was faultless. The suites and the surroundings are stunning. Immaculate, luxurious rooms, and the views are without doubt the best on the island. It's quiet and romantic. The perfect resort. Thomas organised our trips, provided great advise, tips, and ideas for us to cram as much as possible into our three days. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were wonderful at Santorini Heights, we honestly had the most amazing time. The resort app made ordering drinks and food so easy and both were delicious. The portion sizes were huge, you'd never go hungry. I can't think of any aspect of the stay that wasn't perfect. Thomas is the best and we would return in a heartbeat. Thomas mentioned the monastery a few minutes from the suites, for a great sunset experience. OMG this did not disappoint. We walked up one evening and it was just us and a couple of locals watching. I would say, it was by far the best view of the sunset and 360-degree views of the island! Absolutely breathtaking. We will return and we hope Thomas will be there. He's simply the best. The water pressure is a little inconsistent - I found myself covered head to toe in soap wondering just when the water was going to come out of the shower again - but that just adds to the charm really. Cleaning - excellent. Beds - very comfortable. Pool - decent size and there was always a couple of free sunbeds available. The fact that they're right outside the rooms makes for a bit of territorial battle but it's all in the head and nothing said. Then we come to Sissi, Angelo, Gabby, Chris and Eirene. Absolutely the very best hosts we have ever stayed with in any hotel anywhere. If you're a very private person then you might struggle a bit, but they just open up to you and welcome you into the family. So much so that it was Angelo's birthday on the Sunday while we were there and all guests were invited to a barbeque served on the bar. While we were there we met couples that have been returning year on year for up to twenty years. I can really see why. If we ever come back to Perissa then there's absolutely no question where we will be staying.

|4.76km from city centerI can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Exclusive Plan Suites. The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it, from check in, to advice on getting around, and everything in between. The caldera view from our room was breathtaking. The hot-tub was always a welcome sight after a long day of hill climbing and walking (take the hike to Oia if you get the chance!), and it was always warm. Breakfast was served every morning, and there was always more than enough to eat. Location-wise, this spot is pretty convenient. We were only about a 10-12 minute walk to the shops in Fira (with great views along the way), so we never felt like we were far from whatever we wanted to do, but Firostefani is much quieter than Fira so it was nice to get back to the room after a day out and have a relaxing evening looking out over the water and checking out the cruise ships. I'm not sure what is going on with the beds, but we woke up rested every day! Probably the best sleeps we've ever had on vacation.

|6.88km from city centerWow what an amazing place. Myself and my boyfriend booked a last minute trip to Santorini and stumbled across Aegean Melody Suites. Not only was it a very good price, Emma and her team are absolutely amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. From the minute we got there we felt at home, were greeted with smiles and a warm hug. We were given some great recommendations. We were also pleasantly surprised with our breakfast every morning which was delicious. The rooms were perfectly clean and sheets/towels changed daily. The pool in our junior suite was an absolute dream and a lot bigger than we expected from the images online! We were initially concerned we might be a little far away from things, but the beach was a 5 minute taxi and Fira around 20 minutes or so. They also have a preferred taxi driver who was amazing and very reasonable, we could text him whenever and he would be there! We actually preferred where we were as Fira was busy and expensive (still lovely though!). Emma surprised us with deserts a couple of evenings and even let us check out late on our departure day when our flight was delayed. Honestly couldn’t have asked for more from our first trip to Santorini and will 100% be back to stay at Aegean Melody Suites. Thank you so much Emma and team!! X

|3.11km from city centerI have given Artemis Village 4/5 on my review based on the property, the hosts and what it has to offer. There are one or two improvements I would suggest along with many problems it faces due to location which from their point of view cannot be helped. So let's start with the issues it has. The location is horrible, it's in the middle of no where and you must hire a car or you'll go mad. The walk to the ***** at Monolithos beach is around 15 minutes and it's really horrific. The coastal road is not fit for purpose, there's no lighting whatsoever, the unsightly beach is strewn with little, add the abandoned car with two toilet seats hanging out it's boot and the giant electricity power station pumping out black smoke 24/7 you begin to see the unfortunate location for the hotel. Due to it's close proximity to the airport the planes fly very close to the building at an angle as they take off and land. The noise because they're so close is very very loud indeed. Things they can improve on is the next to useless Wi-Fi, it goes in and out all day and should be upgraded to the fastest possible. Some of the rooms do not overlook the sea, as is the case with any hotel, but we spent our first nigh in room 16 which my partner labelled 'The Dungeon'. It was downstairs, dimly lit, no windows and would not be for anyone claustrophobic. Our next 9 days were booked in a top floor sea view room which was the complete opposite of our first day experience. Breathtaking views, large balcony, immediate cold air conditioning, brand new bathroom suite and tiling, comfortable double bed, fridge, TV, kettle and hot showers in an instance. The room was cleaned every day, new towels every day, clean bed linen every day.....never had that anywhere in the world! Artemis and his wife Ana are an absolute joy, nothing is too much trouble for either of them to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Artemis will pick you up and drop you back off at the airport which saves you 40E straight away! The price on average in June is around 50E per night, not bad seeing a cliff top apartment in Oia is not much change out of 1000E per night I'm told! The pool is a very crisp cold so don't dip your toe just jump in! I saw it being maintained while I was there but never saw the pool floor swept. They have the long brushes to do this but there was sand/dirt on the base the whole time I was there. If you want cheap lodgings and you venture out all day this is certainly the place for you, if you want to relax around the pool all day and go out at night, you should probably look elsewhere.

|5.86km from city centerThe location of the hotel is located in Imerovigli, where the sunset is very beautiful and it is cleaner and more comfortable than Oia and Fira. Breakfast can be delivered to the room to eat, and it is very pleasant to have breakfast on the terrace every morning while watching the sea view! There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, so it is very convenient to buy things, there are restaurants around, it is very convenient to eat anything! The service is also very good and very warm.
