The room itself was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The hot water was sort of come and go but for the most part the water was warm enough. The view from the room was incredible and the staff were extremely helpful. My only suggestion is perhaps adding a light breakfest even if its toast and fresh fruit. Enjoyable stay... would recommend.

i am very glad,that i staing in this gesthouse.there are not so many places,where so kind and friendly owners and staff.Its very qwite,comfortable and good location gesthouse with shops,interesting plases and very easy to come to famous turistic plases such riverside and central market. also,there are many store and shops with good and brend things.I recommend this gesthouse for everybody who want to spent relax and good times.and local people near are very friendly and will not look at like on crazy animal in the zoo.

I didn't expect to stay in such a good apartment this time on a business trip to Phnom Penh. The rooms are clean and the facilities are new. WI-FI is too fast. The connection to the company ERP is very smooth. It does not affect the work at all. It is a crash of other hotels. The landlord is warm and thoughtful, and the environment is beautiful. It is the first time to see such a large open-air swimming pool. It has to be 200 meters in a circle. Fortunately, I took a swimsuit and swam happily. The breakfast nearby is very rich. The landlord also recommended the nearby seafood buffet to us. The crab pot is a bit unsettled and has an endless aftertaste. It is a 10-minute drive from the airport, so it is very convenient without rushing. This time I came on a business trip with my colleagues, and I am going to bring my family back to travel next time, or live here.

AXIS is a large complex with units for sale, long en shortterm let. There are studio apartments, one and two bedroom units. It is located not far from Phnom Penh airport. The complex has a gym, two large pools, small shop and a coffee shop that also offers meals. Although the apartments have a kitchen there are no pans just a kettle. There is a fridge, good wifi and it is sufficiently furnished. There are not many shops or restaurants nearby but these can be found short tuktuk drive or walk away. There are some food stalls on the street outside the complex.

STAY AWAY. I found a USED SYRINGE (hypodermic NEEDLE used for injecting HEROIN and other ILLEGAL DRUGS) in my room. It wasn’t hidden either, it was in plain sight — no idea how their staff missed it but it shows there is serious criminal activity going on here. And also if their basic cleaning is that bad, do you really think the sheets etc are very clean? This is very unsanitary and not healthy! When I tried to talk to the front desk they just wanted to argue about it. The manager especially was very rude to me and told me it was “ok”. NO IT IS NOT OK. It seemed like the reservation wasn't made properly, but they prepared a room for me. When I went into my room and tried to open my suitcase, the suitcase lock wouldn't open, so I went to the lobby to ask for help because there was nothing I could do. Thank you for your help 👴🪛 Even when I didn't know how to lock my room, she came to my room and taught me. thank you very much. When I went to have breakfast the next day, she smiled and said good morning, which made me happy. Breakfast was delicious 😊 I took a lot of care of them, and they were great staff!

I had a great few days staying at the Starwood Inn. The room was comfortable, with powerful air con and a cozy bed. The rooftop terrace was a lovely feature of the hotel and a great spot to watch the world go by. The staff will go out of their way to help you in any way possible and are incredibly friendly and kind. As a solo female traveller, they took really good care of men There is also a cafe downstairs and the lovely Toch makes awesome coffee! Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Location is superb. Good restaurants with quite a lot of varieties of foods nearby like 2mins walk. Highly recommend Pleng Chan for breakfast. Love their pickels. Also Greek restaurant nearby was great. Queen mansion itself is a clean and safe hotel with hot water (considering some hotels in cambodia has only cold-warm water) but lacking some amenities and some issues were bit disappointing. No slippers, only two towels, dirty bath rug, ants in bathroom, one dead cockroach under a bedside drawer. When I stayed in bigger room, there were ants on the bed too. I had to spend almost 2 hrs in the middle of the night to kill 30 red ants on the mattress and pillow and blanket. I found out theres an ant house behind the bed. But I didnt see ants in smaller room. So don't get the room with kitchen. Its full of ants and the gas stove for cooking doesnt work.

I've slept in total dives in this city before and I'm really happy that I didn't do that this time. Prantara Heritage Suites is a really nice option for travelers who have to be mindful of their budget but want a good experience being somewhere. It's a sweet little white villa tucked away just behind the British Ambassador's residence. There are some really nice places to hang out, eat and drink nearby. The Vine, Box Office, The Loft Coffee, are all a short walk from the hotel. Nearby there is also a large park called Wat Botum Park. It's a great spot to take little kids as there's a playground for them there. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room itself was very comfortable and stylish. The air conditioner worked well and kept me chilled out during my stay. My time at this hotel reinforced in my mind the the positive nature of the changes that are happening in the city. Phnom Penh is clean these days. I don't see garbage in the streets as I have in the past. The people are as kind and friendly as ever. This place gets my vote and I highly recommend it to anyone who is coming to town. Check to see if there are any live comedy shows happening at SpeakEasy Theater just around the corner while you're here. I bet you dollars to donuts the next time you come back to Phnom Penh you'll want to stay here again.

I have stayed at least 5 extended stays at the Himawari Apar**ents when visiting Phnom Penh, it is the only place I stay in Phnom Penh. What I like about the Himawari is the security, the large rooms, the location (right beside the river), the swimming pool is a good size and sparkling clean, and the restaurant. It is central, and so quiet. But also the staff are fantastic, from the security, front counter, admin and cleaners, everyone is always so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. This is the place to book in Phnom Penh

The hotel is close to the US embassy. The environment is good. The rooms are one-bedroom and one-room with kitchen. There are actually two Starbucks near the hotel. It is the first time that I have seen two Starbucks within 200 meters, which is great for Phnom Penh!

It's family operated with almost a museum for lobby. It's within walking distance to a bank we needed to do business with, although later we rented a scooter to tour Phnom Penh. It fitted our budget and clean enough, no unpleasant surprise.

Our family have lived in Cambodia for 21 years and I'd only recently heard of this place. We needed a spacious place to bring a lot of luggage from the provinces for shipping back to our home country. The staff bent over backwards to cater to us, allowing us to store our luggage in their office and then unpack and re-pack it. Their service was especially helpful as I had travelled without my husband and needed extra help. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen, fridge and washing machine were especially important for us and we enjoyed the air con in the heat of dry season. There was clean drinking water(22L) provided for free and replaced when needed. The location was a bit tricky to get in and out of especially during peak hours but otherwise very central to shops and other places we needed to get to. I wish I'd known about this place earlier. I would highly recommend this place to others who travel with children. However, the small pool on the roof top empty and not in use when we stayed here.

Scary stairs to the 4th floor, the 1st 3 floors were fine but the last flight was metal and thin. Hard mattress so I didn't sleep well. Adequate aircon, it did the job. The shower was decent but it was leaking. Great location, close to the river. There's a mini kitchenette in the room which was a pleasant surprise. There's free wifi and it worked. There's a restaurant on the ground floor. I ordered an iced coffee no sugar for $1.50 and I don't think the girl who took my order understood me. Sure enough, it was sweet.

Royal Guesthouse is priced higher than the guesthouses in the direct environment but you won't see that back in extra service. On the contrary. The rooms are either up some very high stairs of moldy with a bad smell. But the worst is the couple who manage and own the hotel. they do nothing to make you feel welcome, the opposite in fact. never a kind word comes out of them, they're not interested in anything unless they can make money, they will come up with any excuse not to help you, your room is never cleaned unless asked... But even if you don't mention that, and try to make some pleasant conversation, they will still be rude. The restaurant is more pricey than any other establishment in the area, however if you don't order at least one menu item a day they will start to complain, even though you're paying for your room everyday already. The woman will also forbid you to use your laptop on the terrace at a table that she might be sitting on later. This goes to show how highly they value their guests above themselves. You'll sit there wondering why they're in the hospitality business and why the hotel doesn't go bankrupt. Most the can't stand these people, they are very ungrateful, sitting there lazily all day while shouting orders at their staff. But then you realize it. They have a guesthouse on a good location and many tourists fall for their trap. They own two big SUV's but they leave the staff to sleep on the floor in the reception area, working very long hours for a minimum wage. These people are the embodimend of what's wrong with the world. At first I decided not to post this review, to keep things positive. However they walked right over me again, learning nothing of their behavior. They're so offensive, ungrateful and undeserving of their position I wish I could do more to change their ways. I'm so sorry for the Cambodian staff that have to deal with them every day. In my experience this is the absolute worst hotel in the world when it comes to respect and gratefullness.

A good place to rest before or after your flight. About 10mn from Phnom Penh airport, they provide free pickup or drop off which makes it a lot easier. The place is clean and quiet (it's not so big, that's why), feeling relax, private and safe. Bob, (the Manager, I think) speaks very good English. I talked to him on his WhatsApp (+85577406060) prior to my arrival, makes things ”a lot” easier, He answered all the questions I asked. Feeling good!

I'ts a place where regular good people coming when they have holiday in Phnom Pehn, and Simon and his wife staff are so freindly and helpsome, with all things there can happen on holiday.
