Great location and quietness. Manabi-stay Takayama is a great place for sightseeing, a 6-minute walk from the train station and a 2-minute walk to the "old town". It is a place where many tourists come and go during the day, but it is really quiet at night. Surrounded by silence. Takayama is said to be a tourist city, but this tranquility cannot be experienced anywhere else. We would like to help you experience the local culture, traditions, meals, etc. throughout your stay and provide a space like your second home. I would like you to enjoy the scent of the Showa era and the innovative design in a quiet atmosphere. It is not suitable for those who want to get excited by drinking in the room, or who want to have a banquet or party. This guest house is for those who want to spend a quiet time.

We spent few days in the ancestral house in the heart of Hida Furukawa with ou two daughters. Staff was very helpful and people in the neighbourhood were very welcoming. Would love to come back and enjoy the area. Special tip. Try the Hida Beef sushi form a small restaurant near the house, best beef ever!

This is a beautiful self contained apartment on 2 levels. Downstairs is a bathroom/shower and living area. Upstairs a bedroom with a small terrace. Access is by door code supplied by the owner or in our case Booking.com. Unfortunately guests in the other apartment had not been given the door code by their booking agent and did not speak English or Japanese. Fortunately we were able to phone the owner for them. Definitely a communication problem by their booking agent or a language issue by the owner. The apartment is very ''Japanese'' in the sense that the bed is only about 1 foot off the ground. The lounge was also low and uncomfortable and the dining table was so low that it could not be eaten off nor used for a computer. This was extremely annoying. There was also not a single chair in the apartment. Overall even though immaculate the apartment was poorly designed. The kitchen was huge but nowhere to sit and eat!! After we had booked we sought to contact the owners to extend our booking but they had no English language skills at all and we had a frustrating series of emails back which did not help. As we could not stay an extra night (it was festival weekend) we then needed to move to another hotel for a single night whereas we would have preferred to stay at ItoMori.

It ’s still a little distance to get off from the Nongfei Bus Center. It may take about 10 minutes to walk with the children. The homestay is a bit inconspicuous, but it is still very easy to follow the navigation. Enter the door and change shoes. The old lady welcomes us On the 2nd floor, the room is not large, but there is a large suitcase, and there is a kettle to provide hot water. There is no one in the hot spring. It may be because there are not many rooms. There are no convenience stores around. Convenience store, walking to various attractions.

It is an inn I wanted to stay for a long time. Good location just a short walk from Takayama Station. As soon as I arrived, I received a warm hospitality from the owner, Mrs. Madoka and two children. It was only one night, but it was like a family of Takayama. The room is clean and easy to spend, and it is also happy to enjoy coffee and craft beer because it has a cafe! I was surprised that the room was large and there were many bedrooms. When I woke up in the morning and opened the window, I could see the autumn leaves of Kokubunji Temple and ginkgo, and it was delicious to brew coffee and drink it. It's nice to be able to spend a lot of time with a large number of people. I could use a bicycle, so I also cycled a little. I would like to use it when I come again.
