We were met by polite and efficient staff who could converse in English. We were given a tour of the place when we checked in. There were video games, manga, eating and Onsen recommendations, free self serve water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cocoa and corn soup in the common area. Bicycles, indoor and outdoor slippers are free to use. Free parking is available on site. Our en-suite family room was very spacious, 2 double beds in the living room/ kitchen and a separate room with 2 single beds. Everything was very clean and the beds were firm and comfortable. No check out procedure required. There’s Don Quijote about 2 buildings away. I’m definitely coming here again when I next visit!!!

First time trying to stay at Airbnb in Japan, as the hotels in Beppu are full. It was hard to find this apartment. In fact, it is not far from the train station, but there is no sign! The check in procedure is very difficult. Fortunately, thanks to the help of the little brother of the cafe on the ground floor, thank you very much! The house itself barely scraped together, but the train passed by at night, vibrating and making noise. The toilet paper in the bathroom was too cheap to like. It is recommended that the landlord optimize the check in procedure for guests. It is very inconvenient to check in at 4 pm, especially with heavy suitcases.

It was a stay of about 2 weeks, but I was able to spend comfortably. The staff were kind and thankful for lending me a hot spring set when I went to a nearby hot spring and telling me about the surrounding area. The dormitory room also had a shower, and it was convenient to take a quick bath when I returned late at night. It was good to have a microwave oven, refrigerator, tableware, etc. I will use it when I stay in Beppu.

The room is bigger than the hotel. Sleeping tatami is not afraid of children falling on the ground. The bathroom and washroom facilities are communal, with hot water, and the kitchen dining room is very spacious on the first floor. There are no toiletries, but there are tea bags for free. The hotel provides free access to the public hot spring card for guests, and you can take a few drinks at will. They are all famous public soups. The nearest one is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Pay attention to what you need to bring your own shampoo. There is no hair dryer to wash your hair at night. The hair does not feel cold, and the locals do the same. The downside is that the room window is a bit permeable, and the air conditioner is turned on almost all night, otherwise it feels cold. A cost-effective guest house in Beppu. The location is very close to Beppu Station and the bus terminal. Even though it's in the center... it's right next to the beach, so you can go right to the sea and see it... Beppu Tower is also close by. The owners are so kind. You can conveniently eat and do laundry on the first floor. It was my first time doing laundry in Japan haha. And Don Quixote is also close by.

I didn't pay attention to the room facilities when booking. When I arrived at the scene, I found that it was a youth hotel type hotel. The toilet and bathroom were outside the room (some rooms have toilets), the bathroom was a big soup room, I think it is very good, go to soak again before check-out in the morning, it is very comfortable, But the elder may be a bit inconvenient. If the elder participates together, you have to think about it. There are two shopping malls near the hotel. If you want to eat, you can go to the store about 10 minutes away. There are many restaurants to choose from there. Beppu is a curved resort center. I think this room is very good and great value, although the breakfast is simple, but there are a variety of breads, drinks, salads are also delicious! !
