8.4 Day In the morning, wake up in the wonderful howl of birds, a viewing room in a mountain village near Kandy, Sri Lanka, which is clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The owner of this house is hospitable, kind, and hardworking, capable, and tasteful. Seeing the family photos of her family, she has three children, her eldest son, who has graduated from college in Australia, the second child is a daughter, 21 years old, working as a clerk in Kangdi, and the third is a son. I'm in school. At 5:45 in the morning, through the window, I heard the rain in the mountains. The rain stopped soon, and then there was a crisp bird song, a woodpecker sound, some unknown squeak, occasional dog barking, etc. I couldn't wait to get dressed and run to the balcony. On the balcony, look out over the white Kondi city Looking back is close to the natural mountains and green trees, feel the fresh air, the stars in the distance, through the lights of the leaves.

The location is lovely. Especially the mountain view. It didn't feel like we are in the middle of the busy city of Kandy. Rooms were very comfortable. The staff were really friendly. They will organize tours for reasonable prices as well. All in all I highly recommend this place.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the train station and bus station, and a five-minute walk to Kandy Lake and the Temple of Tooth Relic. It is also because there will be some locals staying in this way. It is recommended not to book a bed. Unfortunately, I ran into an unfriendly local. Fortunately, the staff were more reliable. Call the staff after they all fell asleep at 10 o'clock in the evening. Immediately came out and helped me solve the problem. All in all a good hotel

With a six-year-old child, the big bed is enough to sleep, very quiet, the bath water is a little small but enough. There are two very handsome black dogs. The floor was completed with timber from a 200 years old Arjun tree (Terminalia arjuna) dead and fallen into a river in Anuradhapura District. Pros Very peaceful guest house, high above the hustle and bustle of busy Kandy. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. They provided us with a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC worked well and the water was nice and hot. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading our books in the morning, watching the sun rise. Amazing views. It was perfect for what we needed and excellent value for money. Cons Some ants in the room. But most places in Sri Lanka so far, we’ve had a similar experiences. Overall, would recommend to family and friends and would stay again. Thank you

We are a French family and had 2 rooms during 2 nights… we recommend you to stay at the villa49. Everything was fine. Location is very good ( 15/20 minutes walk from the city center), rooms are big, air conditioning works well and not noisy, food is excellent a little bit like a 5 star restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere with nice music.. Hoppers ( kind of « egg crepes made with rice water and cocunut milk) during the breakfirst were so delicious. We want to come back soon 😉

Very nice stylish small boutique hotel of 8 rooms in a quiet green environment by the river. Rooms are spacious, big and comfortable beds. People are very friendly and we could enjoy nice talks on the great balcony. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend.
